Howdy! Man, does everyone seem super pessimistic around me this week. Maybe it's the inauguration of the deranged cheeto this Friday, maybe it's the gloomy weather that's suddenly dropped in up here in Washington (but it it IS winter in Washington so what do you expect?) But damn, it's been kinda depressing :\

BUT- we're all still here, and there's art to be done! Hello everyone!
I'm very excited to announce that I will be selling art at Furlandia in 2017! This is the first time I will be vending at a con in quite some time (the last one was Califur 2012 I believe). I'm looking forward to offering original art, and taking commissions there. I may be looking at more cons in 2017, so we'll see. It's a way's out, but I know I'm already pretty excited!

Still taking commissions in the meantime, and will be posting some more original art here- including some Christmas cards I've made! :D

So I have a number of slots open currently for all sorts of commissions. I will be working also on more original art, particularly digital art. My goal is to raise some funds toward getting a better scanner and printer, to start offering some art-quality prints at cons, shows, etc in the not too distant future. I have been testing the waters here to see if art could be my primary gig, and while I still do some part time work, I am hoping to focus more on art, which should mean more art posted here, and also on my deviantart ( http://thecreamsiclecat.deviantart.com/ ). I will still be doing sketches, but I'm looking forward to doing more digital work.

I realize some folks have been trying to reach out to me in the past 5-6 days or so, and I'm sorry for being much quieter than usual. I've been dealing with some stuff, the biggest of which is the fact my cat passed away late Friday, and had been very, very sick for some time so we knew it was coming. As a result, in the days leading up to and following, I haven't really felt like being online or doing much art.

I think I'm back in a place where I can get started with work again, and I'm looking forward to finishing the stuff I have lined up for folks. I can still probably take 1 or 2 new things on, but I do need to do some catching up, so bear with me.

Again, sorry for disappearing for a bit. I'm back again.

I have opened up three commission slots while I work on a couple of longer series. Because I am prioritizing finishing the series, these slots will probably have a 1-2 *week* turnaround.

I would like to see if anyone would be interested in getting a high-detailed sketch with full shading, similar to this: https://www.weasyl.com/submission/1.....hiptail-lizard or https://www.weasyl.com/submission/1...../shoebill-nest. These would be less toony, and would be graphite on 9" x 12" paper, and I'd be happy to ship the final piece (if you'd like this, I'll include shipping cost in the quote). I would like to try this style with anthros, but will be happy to take a feral/non-anthro piece as well.

The high-detailed sketches will start at $20/each (not including shipping if you request this). I may need to charge more for taurs/dragons/complicated characters, and as always, +$5 for extra characters. There WILL be rough sketch review stage with these so I can get revisions in before filling in the details.

I am wrapping up the current set of commissions I have here, and for the time being I won't be taking anymore. I am going out of town between June 13th-July 5th for my wedding and honeymoon. I am marrying my lovely mate Carcas in Sequoia National Forest and then spending the next couple of weeks camping. As internet connection will be pretty much nil, I won't be around on here very much!

However, when I return, I'll be re-opening commissions.

Hello, everyone! I'm super excited about doing commissions again, and have been flattered by those who have taken me up with the $10 pencil sketches, that I am opening up 5 additional commission slots for the pencil sketches. Going forward, I will be trying to keep a queue of about 5-10 if possible, and will offer additional types of art, including digital. Part of the reason I hadn't done art for so long was due to a lack of scanner and no graphics tab, and coloring by mouse, well, sucks. But I am excited to say going forward that this won't be an issue :D

So, more fuzzy art to come :)

...so um, hi all?

I am still alive, still kicking it here in Washington, in the not-so-sunny city of Seattle. It's been awhile, so how are you all?

You may have noticed I moved a bunch of stuff to scraps. That's 'cuz I'm getting ready to unload upon you a whole new slew of NEW ART. That's right. New stuff. From me.

I haven't really drawn a lot lately. I guess I wasn't really feeling it. But I feel ready to bust out the pencils, and get back in the swing of things.

With that said, I will be opening up commissions here soon, in a limited number of slots...but I kind of want to get back into my art groove a bit more. I have more free time on my hands these days (yay, layoffs), so I will be able to work on art more for the time being and post more stuff. Cool, huh?

So what sorta stuff would you guys like to see? Note: I'm probably going to do less fetish-related stuff with this account, and maybe move that stuff over to my other, older account (anyadserval).

After spending all my life in sunny southern California, this cat will be heading up north to the rain-soaked northwest to Seattle. I will be moving at the end of February. Hope to catch at least 1 more PS before I head out. Looks like I'll be checking out Rainfurrest this fall if all goes well...

So I've been quiet lately because I finally got a job. Yay! Being gainfully employed once more is definitely a huge relief and I am currently working at a very small start up company, which gives me the opportunity to wear a number of different hats on any given day. That being said, I'm also working start up hours, which is to say I go to work and home and not much else. But the bills are being paid and if things work out, I'll have had a big hand in making this project come to life, which is pretty exciting.

Was thinking of going to the PS party tonight, but looks like traffic will be keeping me closer to home. Hope everyone has a great weekend :D
