Currently, me and my boyfriend are working on updating a Silk master list on toyhou.se - so if you see a message from Sezu on FA / Fotia on TH, it's him double-checking for any missing Silks! Also, I'm not sure if I made this clear in the past, but if you have ever received any of my older Silkling species, you're free to upgrade them to Silks with any body type rarity. This also means you can design a shayura for them (also free) up to tier II.

From now on, I won't be very active here on furaffinity when it comes to selling my adopts. However, I will be keeping an eye out just in case. If you'd like to contact me or simply know where my activity will be from now on, it will be on my deviantart!

I've touched up on the T.O.S and there are some important points I want to talk about.

First of all, until we can sit and organize useful means to the trade system, money vouchers will not be acceptable for any of my adopts. This is just until we can figure things out and I'm not comfortable just yet with the idea of my adopts being traded for them.

Another thing I want to bring up is that, like in the last batch of silks, I will be adding a cooldown timer for adopts to be traded and sold. That way, we can track where the adopt has been and ensure that it doesn't get lost or scammed in the process. For more information on the cooldown, check the T.O.S page.

Also, harassment in the community isn't an old thing, but if you or a friend have been harassed for an adopt created by me, please send me or junori a note detailing the situation along with proof of said harassment. We will not investigate if there is not solid proof such as screenshots and chat logs with their timestamps.

Before I jump into the search details, currently me and Junori have set up a silk guild on deviantart. If you ever see Junori on toyhou.se or deviantart, please listen to any instruction he has! Also, from now own, we're working on following some silks and their current owners to figure out where they've ended at. So, if you have a trade going and have a silk currently up for offer, please post a link in this journal in response to Junori's comment along with the person you are planning to trade with (you can edit it and add the person later if need be).

So after a quick game session of Black Desert and noticing the tiny mice people race in the game look like children with beards, I immediately noticed my sin of making silklings an actual independent species. Silklings will be the name I give children silks for batches and CAN be aged up into their respective body types. If you want to keep them kids for plot reasons, like adopted silk children or a story about silk kids being kids and catching frogs huckle berry silk, that could probably work. It's up to you! If you liked their lore about being tiny sprite-versions of silks that see divines much like shayura see divines, I mean you can still go for that since younger silks CAN see divines much more expressively than their adult counterparts.

Also, It came to my attention that any silklings aged into regular silks can't be sold for more than the price they were bought for. And if possible, a preview of the transition between silkling and silk may need to pass through me.

However, I am planning on making less silkling batches, and mostly incorporate them into customs, in the case that someone wants a younger silk. But I may need an explain of what you plan to do with this silkling for security reasons (we don't need any shota fetish going on, it's sad tbh). However, I will offer it just for the chance of npcs, children and siblings for silks. These silks will be drawn around puberty when their tail fluff is finally kicking in and their markings have surfaced. The Infant version may be an extra but not for much. Like... I'm not sure but maybe $5 or $10. I can't finalize anything for this just yet, but I know that the silkling customs may be half the price of a regular custom.

Moving onto the talk of traits. I have been doing a lot of brainstorming in google.docs, with friend, and I may discontinue the "flower silk tail FOR non flower silks". If you have a silk that has a flower tail but isn't a flower silk, that's fine. They can keep the tail. But for future batches and anything silk-wise, it will be strictly for flower silks. Also, I will be revamping the rarity chart with a few new traits unique to each element... eg -- thorns on a flower silk's tail and actual rose-y petal projections.

I'm not sure how much of this will be added soon, but do know that I've been sketching ideas for traits.

I didn't know where to type this but I wanted to share it somehow and maybe reflect on it while I'm doing other stuff. And it came across to me that Tasselorns, possibly in my own world, are really into the business of trading and merchant systems. Bigger, stronger, Tasslorns work as mercenary companies that protect cargo or wipe out bandits or get hired for manual labor that can't be done with regular workers (like hunting beasts in the wilderness or wiping bandits ahead of exploration teams). There's also the merchants who have a strong trade connection with the trading community of silks and the northern giants. When traveling to the northern giants, they have to send word for a guide before they can travel to the cities there as only guides are able to show anyone the way to their territory. Without one, an outsider couldn't get pass the illusionist's cape over the city and would get lost and die. Shayura are the only ones that can see the city beyond the illusion but even then, they can't know exactly where the city is.

The northern giants has a rare currency made from a special rock that can reform itself into tokens or coins when pressed together like clay, but when the coins are torn apart, they revert back into their original crystal appearance as if untouched. For Tasselorns, this material is extremely valuable and sell for A LOT if they can get their hands on the vines where these giants mine them from. When Tasselorns sell the material back to their blacksmith, they can make powerful weapons that pierce their natural magic defenses or builds to it. Once the weapons are crafted, used by mercenaries, broken, then brought back to the blacksmith, the blacksmiths will sell the broken tools and weapons to the traveling merchants who return the items of this magical material to the northern giants for money. It's not completely useless to the giants. In fact, it's the opposite! The material stone they used for the weapons has gained spiritual energy through memories and emotions of the ones using them. Even the blacksmith's memories and feelings get absorbed into the material and gives it experience, making it more valuable. Once a wave of the material is cycled through the community and returned to the northern giants, it might reach a stage where it physically changes due to so much memories and emotions. This causes it to become a valuable glitter-like stone that can be worked into legendary masterpieces for the nobles of the northern giants.

As for the stone, I still need to polish how it exists and why it exists. But I do know it's floaty and glowy and has unusual mild levitation purposes.

Fire Emblem Fates came out on friday and I suddenly got the cravings to play Awakening again, but I totally got consumed into the gameplay. :,D

Well, the myo is over and those of you who have been approved (I've updated the list on this journal) now have official silk designs. If you have a 1/2 beside your url, it means one out of the two silks you submitted are approved for an official design. What happens to the other design? Any silk myo not submitted to me since will not be an official silk.

Now that the MYO slots are closed, I'd like to mention that whomever pays for a slot will be given a ticket with their name on it via notes. If you've gotten a ticket with your username on it, please add a link to the ticket in the stash upload of your design. Do not post your design on DA // FA before I've approved it. Instead, upload it to stash and paste a link in the comments of this journal for evaluation.

If you have not paid for the slot and creation of your silk and cannot link proof of your ticket in your stash upload (or FA / TH notes), your design will automatically be disqualified from being an official silk design. If you've designed your silk but haven't paid, please pay before you upload it to stash.

Some Rules //
- This myo is baseless.
- Traits Information
- Silk traits can be slightly personalized (like how the custom auction silks).
- You can define how each silk tail trait will be, plus its length and volume.
- The basic thing is that you follow the generic shape and idea behind each trait.
- Just don't add ultra rare traits to your silk. If you're making a water silk, ignore this rule.
- If someone chooses to have two silks, they won't take up an extra slot.
- If you're making a water silk, remember that you can make their water version as wild as you want.
- Want octopus legs for water silk? Sure. A fantasy shark with red and black? Sure go ahead.
- Just no shellfish unless you can make it work.
- Remember that water silks have fins for base tails majority of the time. Their traits are usually aquatic alternations.
- No more than two myo silks per person.
- You can commission or design trade with someone to design your silk.
- But please let them know more about the species' designs if they don't! Examples are good.

I've been a little conflicted as to where my silks stand in terms of fully painted off-base adopts. If I did off-base adopt auctions with weapon designs like I did with the custom auction, how much would you judge their price range to be?

This also goes for water silks that have an additional form and a unique shayura.

Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the lack of adoptable batches posted recently. It's come to a point where I've decided that I'll have to put Halloween adopts off too. I really can't find the time to make them. As for auctions, I'm going to be extremely slow with these until I finish off all I need to do so the next auction might be a little into November, who knows?

In essence, no Halloween silks. I'm a little disappointed in myself but I honestly couldn't even find a single day in October to spill tiny spooky adopts eating pumpkin spice.

In the past I had some things I wanted to work on, but they got lost in a flood of other ideas. So I'll write down most of the stuff that I remember I had to do or wanted to do.. Please don't mind this journal. If you want to comment, that's fine.

1. Off Base Silk Customs. Auction-style?
2. Off Base Silk Auction - Water elements / body differences.
3. Commissions - Holding off on this until I do everything else....

Alright, before I start I want to mention that recently I posted a journal on commissions up, but I deleted it until I could work out a tumblr post on commissions. It seems a bit price-y, but mostly because I don't want commissions to be my primary focus and the last time I did commissions, I didn't have much time to work on anything other than commissions. I will be making a notice up on FA soon with a slight price alteration.

Also it's been a while since I've posted adopt batches. For those of you who do have me on twitter / tumblr, I've posted up a new chibi base for silk adopts. I'm thinking of keeping those regular detailed bases for auctions or special silk batches. But for now I'm going to work on chibi silk versions for upcoming batches. I'm having some problems right now with an intuos pen and touch I recently got (I'm using windows 7 btw). Like a lot of people, I'm having pen pressure problems with paint tool sai where the lines come out chunky / blocky rather than smooth and pressurized. I've tried:

- uninstalling and reinstalling
- restarting countless times
- adding sai to applications in the "wacom tablet properties" window
- going to control panel > pen and touch > unticking "enable press and hold for right-clicking"
- and unticking "use the pen button as a right-click equivalent"
- updating the drivers
- checking the drivers for hardware changes
- changing the pen pressure (this does almost nothing for sai)
- turned off touch feature
- restarting sai countless times

Still nothing! I'm baffled, I still can't figure out what the problem is... If anyone knows how to solve the pen pressure issue for this model, please let me know!

Tomorrow I'll be going on a long trip to visit family until the 7th of July. I've been so busy trying to prepare that I really didn't have much time to work on art-related things. But hopefully, once I'm back, I'll try to work on stuff art-wise.

I've been thinking about the lore behind silks and I think I might start to make my own personal silk community maps. No one has to follow the maps or the lore or anything silk-wise to play their silk. But I really think I might go ahead and build a story for my own.

Also I may be on hiatus sometime soon since family's coming over to stay for a week or more!

First of all, I want to apologize to everyone for my absence and lack of activity here on FA. I've been on hiatus for roughly six mouths but recently I've resigned from the irl job I had.

Although I'm currently job hunting for something more into my field of preference, I'd like to mention that adopts may resume sometime soon. I'm also looking into the possibility of doing commissions and ych!

Right now I'm thinking of slowing down on the silks until maybe into the spring? We'll see!

As for art trades and collabs, I need something else to stretch my drawing muscle, so if anyone is thinking of a batch and is up to collab, please comment below.

Also, I've been really out of the mood in terms of drawing art of my ocs. I always find it easier working on commissions than personal work. So if anyone wants to art trade, I might be up for it if I get the time.

The collabs and art trades only go for FA mutuals, however.

Now that I'm getting to the last bit of customs, I'll be closing public customs. Anyone that hasn't filled out a form for customs will have to wait for the next time I make customs public again. For now, they'll be private.

Also a new batch is slowly coming along.

I haven't forgotten FA or adoptables. I've been all over the place and working on last two customs which is taking a little time. But hopefully I'll have something posted up before next week!
