Octransfur 2025 Auction Results
Posted a month agoThis year's auction is all wrapped up, and I'm sticking to my guns this year, so I'll only be reaching out to the top 12 highest bids for full commissions this time. Here are the top 12 bids sorted by day:

Day 5 - Storm -

For those of you who were below the cut-off, especially if you were just below the cut-off point, please get in touch. Most of you have my contact info, but failing that, my FA notes are open. Even though I can't do full commissions for you while remaining on schedule, I'd like to work with you on figuring out simpler stream YCH-type comms for your days, in a similar vein to how I do them on my semi-occasional streams. They will be straightforward, less expensive, but hopefully still pretty good.
I can't guarantee I'll be able to do stream comms for every day, but I will make the attempt so long as I can stay on schedule.
Anyhow, thanks for participating, everyone! As always, if you feel like there was an error or unfairness, please reach out to me via notes or another method and I'll do my best to make things right.
I look forward to getting Octransfur finished on time this year~

Octransfur 2025 Commissions Auction
Posted 2 months agoUpdate (25 Sept, 9PM): Bidding has closed! By coincidence, I'm about to have dinner, but right after that I'll be sorting through all of these tonight and sending out the messages to everyone over the course of the next 24 hours. If something unfair or strange happened, then we'll sort that out by talking it out. If you were below the cut-off, you'll have priority in the case that day has stream commissions. Feel free to get in touch and share your ideas!
I'm looking forward to Octransfur!
Update (24 Sept): A couple clarifications before we enter the final 24 hours. I'm aiming to take the 12 days with the highest bids as full commissions, but if there's a tie for 12th place, I'll take all the ties as commissions (up to 15 as a hard limit). If you had the highest bid on a day below the cut-off, and that day later becomes a stream commission day, you get priority that day.
Last-second update: I nearly forgot to share this, but Mato put together a really nifty tracker for all the bids: https://mato.neocities.org/octransfur/
It's September, and as promised it's time to open up the auction for this year's Octransfur commissions. As always, I'll be running it similarly to last year's auction, with a few important updates.
Please make sure to read the new stuff before bidding.
If you're unfamiliar with Octransfur, check out my website: https://crizbn.com/octransfur/
Anyhow, here it is:
After both previous years went badly over schedule for me, I'm changing up the plan a bit. We'll still do the auction, but I've put in proper limits and left room for improvisation. But first, let's get into what's mostly the same.
This time around I'm dropping the formalities and admitting that this auction is pretty much just straightforward TF commissions. I'll still have some input on what I'll draw for each day, but if you win a day in the auction, you'll have a lot of say when it comes to what we'll get done that day.
Each slot/day is for one character, to receive a full-body TF. The starting bid for each day is $30. If you want to team up with someone to bid for a day, go for it. I'll handle those on a case-by-case basis.
I'll try to make sure that you get at least what you pay for, in comparison to my regular prices, with storybook style/cel-shading as the minimum level of quality.
Click here to see the pictures I did for previous years~
The minimum increment for bids is $5, and bidding closes on September 25th at 9 PM EDT (The last Thursday of the month at 9 PM).
I only intend to take the top dozen or so days with the highest bids this year. I'll announce the cut-off price within a few days of the auction closing. You may notice that this is fewer days than prior years. You may have also noticed that you cannot bid for certain days. I'll explain that shortly.
After bidding closes, I'll send out the form and invoices to the winners. Payment is due the day before your slot-- if you can't pay, then the day goes to the next-highest bidder. It's okay to pay as soon as you receive the invoice, but it's not required.
Also, just like in past years, you can only win one day.Feel free to bid for multiple days if you want, but you will be asked to choose just one if you win multiple. For situations like this, I'll offer the one you did not choose to the next-highest bidder. Keep this in mind when you bid. Be considerate.
Update Sept 5: With how high the bids are going this year, I think I need to change this rule. That multiple days bidding thing really only makes sense when the days are cheap. But with the current state of things, I'll going to have to ask you all to not bid on multiple days at once, especially if you already hold the winning bid for a particular day. This is what I meant by, "be considerate" but I realize that the previous statement may have made that unclear.
Bid by leaving a comment below on the day you'd like to bid on, or on the comment of the person you're out-bidding. It might seem a bit obvious in retrospect, but I understand some folks are new to this each year, so let's all be patient with any new folks.
Once again, here are this year's prompts: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62152751/
I send invoices/take payment through Stripe or PayPal invoice, so if you win, I will ask for an email where I can send the invoice. There will be a Google form to handle that. My other usual terms and conditions apply.
For any days that weren't offered up for or claimed via the auction, I will instead be taking on-stream commissions for those days. These will be mostly first-come, first-served and priced to be about on-par with other stream comms I've done in the past. It'll be a bit different each day. Some might be done in the style of my TFTuesday commissions; some might be artist's freedom days; and some will be something else entirely.
This is how I'm introducing slack into the system so that I can stay on schedule this month. So if you miss out on a day you wanted in the auction, don't worry! You might still be able to catch it on the day itself instead. I'll try my best to make a proper stream schedule this year one week at a time. Fingers and paws crossed!
Anyhow, as always, in case something goes wrong or wild (like someone bid sniping at the last second or bidding improperly), I'll handle it. Just reach out if you spot shenanigans going on.
If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch or leave a comment.
Here's to another great Octransfur!

It's September, and as promised it's time to open up the auction for this year's Octransfur commissions. As always, I'll be running it pretty much the same as last year's auction, apart from a few small updates.
If you're unfamiliar with Octransfur, check out my website: https://crizbn.com/octransfur/
Anyhow, here it is:
The idea here is that you'll be getting a TF based on the the day you pick-- it's not exactly a YCH, but not full freedom either. If you win, then you'll get a dozen words to describe what you'd like me to draw for the day (not counting character references).
Also, you can let me know if you have any "do-not's" or triggers that I should avoid. No word limit on that. I don't want to make any of you uncomfortable.

The minimum increment for bids is $5, and bidding closes on September 25th at 9 PM EDT (The last Wednesday of the month at 9 PM).
I can't take a commission for everyday, so I'll only take the 20 or so days with the highest bids. Sorry I can't be more specific, but those who have been around for a while know how variable my plans can be. I'll announce the cut-off number within a few days of the auction closing.

Octransfur 2023 Commissions Auction
Posted 2 years agoUpdate: Bidding has closed! I'm compiling the results, and I'll be making a post shortly (right after having some dinner) about winners and the next steps. Thanks to everyone for bidding!
It's the start of September, and as promised it's time to open up the auction for this year's Octransfur commissions. As always, I'll be running it pretty much the same as last year's auction, apart from a few small updates.
If you're unfamiliar with Octransfur, check out my website: https://crizbn.com/octransfur/

The idea here is that you'll be getting a TF based on the the day you pick-- you don't get too much direct input on what the transformation will be, but I'll give you 10 words to describe TF ideas that you think would go well with your prompt. That might not sound like enough, but that's part of the fun!
Also, you can let me know if you have any "do-not's" or triggers that I should avoid. No word limit on that. I don't want to make any of you uncomfortable.

The minimum increment for bids is $5, and bidding closes on September 25th at 9 PM EST (The last Monday of the month at 9 PM).
I'll take the dozen or so days with the highest bids. Probably not too many more in the interest of my own sanity, but we'll see how it goes. Those of you who have been around long enough know that's a bit of a fib, but it's tradition to at least pretend I won't be taking the top 20.
After bidding closes, I'll send out invoices to the winners. Payment is due the day before your slot-- if you can't pay, then the day goes to the next-highest bidder. It's okay to pay as soon as you receive the invoice, but it's not required.

I'll take the dozen or so days with the highest bids. Probably not too many more in the interest of my own sanity, but we'll see how it goes.
After bidding closes, I'll send out invoices to the winners. Payment is due the day before your slot-- if you can't pay, then the day goes to the next-highest bidder. It's okay to pay as soon as you receive the invoice, but it's not required.
Also, just like last year, you can only win one day. Feel free to bid for multiple days if you want, but you will be asked to choose just one if you win multiple. For situations like this, I'll offer the one you did not choose to the next-highest bidder. Keep this in mind when you bid. Be considerate.
Bid by leaving a comment below on the day you'd like to bid on, or on the comment of the person you're out-bidding. It might seem a bit obvious in retrospect, but I understand some folks are new to this each year, so let's all be patient with any new folks.
Once again, here are this year's prompts: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53347636/
I send invoices/take payment through Stripe or PayPal invoice, so if you win, I will ask for an email where I can send the invoice. There will be a Google form to handle that. My other usual terms and conditions apply.
As always, in case something goes wrong or wild (like someone bid sniping at the last second or bidding improperly), I'll handle it. Just reach out if you spot shenanigans going on.
If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch or leave a comment.
Here's to another great Octransfur!
August 2023 Commissions
Posted 2 years agoUPDATE (31 July): The form is now closed and I'm looking through all the entries and trying to select which ones to work on. Thanks so much for all the interest, everyone!
After a very long time (and a lot going on), I'm finally more or less ready to open up for commissions again~
I'll leave the commissions form open until 11:59 PM EST on July 30, so that I have a day to go through everything before starting work on the 1st of August.
Before filling out the form, make sure to check out my general commissions info here: https://crizbn.com/commissions/
And, of course, please read the form carefully as you fill it out.
Please note that I'm almost certainly not going to be able to take everyone's commission this month, but this is in the interest of being able to open up again next month. So if I don't take your commission, don't worry! There's always next time (even if that's a little ways off).
Anyhow, here's the form to submit your request: https://forms.gle/sUoWUVN4CwiS1wuJ8
PS: I've added a little extra commission type/special to the form. I'm putting together the next series of Pokétopian passports, and if any of you are interested in being part of that, feel free to sign up for it on the form~! I'll share more info on that later in August once I get the first few together.

Posted 3 years agoAnother year of Octransfur has gone mostly well~ Thanks a ton to everybody who participated and to all of you who picked up a commission! Number of commissions: 20
Total stream time: 136⅔ hours
Total length of timelapses: ~2 hours (link to playlist)
Average time to complete a piece: ~4¼ hours
Total number of Pokémon: 42
Days without a Pokémon: 11 (35%)
Number of mid-TF pics: 7 (22.5%)
Number of "Drawn-into-Reality" pics: 10 (32%)
Quickest Picture: Day 4 - Glitch (2½ hours)
Longest Picture: Day 25 - Fortune (7 hours)
If you want to get a close look at my drawing process, I highly encourage you to check out my Octransfur Timelapse playlist on YouTube~
I'll be taking a couple days to catch my breath and collect my thoughts before opening up for commissions this month, but I'll make sure to let you guys know what's going on very soon. Thanks a ton again for sticking with me through this hectic month!

Octransfur 2022 Auction Update (+Hurricane Ian)
Posted 3 years agoChecking in real quick since the Octransfur Auction is scheduled to end in a couple days, but there's something else fast approaching that might get in the way a bit.
First off, a quick update on the auction. As always, you've pleasantly surprised me with the response to this-- I really appreciate the interest! At the moment, the cut-off for the top 12 is around the $40 to $50 range. There will be a bit of wiggle room, but I really probably shouldn't take much more than those top 12 this time around.
Second, I may have to change the end time of the auction due to events outside of my control. Hurricane Ian is approaching and there's a nonzero chance that I'm going to lose power. Obviously I'm hoping for the best and preparing as best I can (which is part of why I'm posting this at an odd hour), but there's only so much I can do. If that happens, I'll try to keep you all updated.
For now, I'm delaying the end of the auction to Thursday, September 29th at 9 PM, by which point the worst of the hurricane should have passed over my area of the state. That's when I'll be able to say more.
I'll try to do a pre-hurricane stream for TFTuesday, but that's also going to be dependent on getting a few last-second preparations out of the way. Either way, thanks a ton for all your support so far.
That's all for now. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, but please understand that I might not be able to reply right away.

Octransfur 2022 Commissions Auction
Posted 3 years agoUpdate: Bidding has closed! I'm compiling the results, and I'll be making a post shortly about winners and the next steps. Thanks to everyone for bidding!
Octransfur is fast approaching, and since last year's auction went pretty well, I figured I'd do it again. I've made a few changes, but I'll be running it pretty much the same as last year's auction, apart from those small updates.
Anyhow, here it is, my Octransfur 2022 Auction (lightly edited from last year).
Each slot/day is for one character, to receive a full-body TF. The starting bid for each day is $20.
The minimum increment for bids is $5, and bidding closes onSeptember 28th at 9 PM EST (Next Wednesday at 9 PM).
Edit (27 Sept): Bidding now closes on Thursday, September 29th at 9 PM due to Hurricane Ian. More info here.

First off: You can only win one day. Feel free to bid for multiple days if you want, but you will be asked to choose just one if you win multiple. Keep this in mind when you bid. Be considerate.
Second: Just mentioning it since folks asked last year, but in case something goes wrong or wild (like someone bid sniping at the last second or bidding improperly), I'll handle it. Just reach out if you spot shenanigans going on.
Third: Some of these pictures will be in a Drawn Into Reality / Drawover style (click the link to see some examples)-- both for stylistic and practical reasons. You'll be able to let me know in the form if this is something you'd be interested in. I mostly use public domain photos, but if you have any of your own photos then I can try to work with those. No promises, though. This is Octransfur, after all~
If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch or leave a comment.
Note: For those of you new to auctions on this site, reply to the slot with SB to make the starting bid, and then reply to the highest bid to outbid them.

November (Post-Octransfur) Update
Posted 4 years agoOctransfur is over, and I've finally woken up from my post-TF nap. That was a heck of a month, and I probably bit off more than I could chew, but gosh I'm still really happy with how it went!
A big thanks to everyone who took part in it! I hope you all had as much fun as I did~
For fun, here's a few statistics about how this year's Octransfur went on my end, based on this playlist of all my streams (except Day 27, due to technical difficulties, which I'm still a bit bothered about because I really liked how that one went ^^;):
Number of pieces completed: 31
Total stream time: ~115 hours
Average time to complete a piece: Just under 4 hours
Total number of Pokémon: 49
Days without a Pokémon: 5 (Gem-2, Singular-9, Job-14, Instinct-18, Game-24)
Number of "mid-TF" pics: 12
Number of "post-TF" pics: 15
Number of pics that could be called either post-TF or mid-TF: 4
I'm going to take a few days to recover from that before getting back to work on the commissions queue and Patreon stuff (and a little project I've been quietly working on for a while now).
I'll try to stream regularly, but not as often as I did last month (for obvious reasons). In the meantime, I'll keep up my posting schedule with a few pieces that I've got queued up from before and during October, so there's that to look forward to, too.
See you all soon~

Octransfur 2021 Auction Update
Posted 4 years agoMaking a quick update about the Octransfur Auction since there's just a couple days left on that.
First off, a quick summary of how things are coming along. As usual, I'm pleasantly surprised by the interest in the thing~ Thanks to all of you who've taken part in this! I'm looking forward to doing up the daily drawings for all of you!
As it currently stands, all of the top 12 bids are at $30 or higher. I'm thinking that I might take more than the just top 12, but that I'll also just take no more than one from each person below the top 12 (basically: if you've bid on more than one day, then I'll just ask you to pick one day, if one or more of them is outside of the top 12).
I would like to keep a few days free of commissions so I can stay flexible and do other things with Octransfur, so I don't intend to go too far beyond the top 12 bids, but we'll see how that goes.
Also, due to personal scheduling conflicts and the fact that I'd like to be available for the end of the auction so that we can get everything squared away quickly (and so I can help with any problems), I'm going to be closing bidding at 9 PM EST on September 29th now. Sorry about the relatively late change.
On a more fun note, I plan on streaming my work on the Octransfur stuff, and I plan on continuing to work on your commissions during Octransfur. I still don't have a set schedule just yet, but if I can come up with one, then I'll be sure to let you know.
Anyhow, that's all for now. As always, get in touch if you have any questions!

Octransfur 2021 Commissions Auction
Posted 4 years agoUpdate: Bidding has closed! I'll be making a post shortly about winners and the next steps. Thanks to everyone for bidding!
It's almost time for Octransfur again, and I plan on trying to do a similar thing to last year, when I ran an auction for special commissions. Since I couldn't think of a better way to do it this year (or at least, one that wasn't needlessly complicated), I'll be running it pretty much the same as last year's auction.
Anyhow, here it is, my Octransfur 2021 Auction (lightly edited from last year to include some questions asked last time).
The idea here is that you'll be getting a TF based on the the day you pick-- you don't get any direct input on what the transformation will be, but you can let me know if you have any "do-not's" or triggers that I should avoid.
Each slot/day is for one character, to receive a full-body TF. The starting bid for each day is $15, which will be a colored piece in one of my styles. If the bidding for a day goes above $30 then it'll be shaded, and so on when it comes to getting more detailed (within reason).
The minimum increment for bids is $5, and bidding closes on September 29th at 9 PM EST.
I'll take at least the 12 days with the highest bids, which you'll be able to keep track of here (and naturally I'll announce the winners in another journal too).
After bidding closes, I'll send out invoices to everyone who won a slot. Payment is due the day before your slot-- if you can't pay, then the day goes to the next-highest bidder.
Bid by leaving a comment below on the day you'd like to bid on. The prompts: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43579518/
I send invoices/take payment through PayPal invoice, so if you win, I will ask for an email where I can send the invoice. My other usual terms and conditions apply.
In response to a question from last year: You can bid for multiple days if you like, but please try to be considerate of others.
If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch or leave a comment.
Update: I didn't expect to need to explain this, but I guess some of you are new to auctions so that's fair enough. But reply to the previous bid if you're outbidding someone. That way they get notified about it.

New Year Update - Last Gasp of 2020, Future Plans
Posted 5 years agoSo, I was going to make announcement about my plans for this upcoming week, month, and the new year, but well... then that stuff at the US Capitol happened. So I feel I got to say something first before getting back to regular business. I usually want to keep real life out of this, draw the world as I want it to be, but this is too much. A lot of other people have said it better, so I'll just keep it short. But I have no tolerance for terrorists, and I have no patience for the supporters of terrorists. If you support the sore loser who's so desperately trying to tear this country to shreds in the name of clinging to power, then get lost.
Sorry to get serious. Anyhow! Back to business.
So, it's the New Year, and I still haven't finished my commissions queue... But I am very nearly done with the main queue! And the passports are still under way, too. With any luck, I'll be ready to open up limited regular commissions again soon. Though by this point I know better than to make a specific deadline. It'll be ready when it's ready, and it'll just be relatively simple single-panel pictures with one or two characters to start, similar to my usual TFTuesday pictures. I'll be taking on limited slots in order to ensure quicker turn around times, and I'll open up for more products as I'm more certain that I will be able to deliver them quickly (like ref sheets and TF sequences).
On the subject of ref sheets, I'll be redoing my own sheets both as a personal thing, and also to figure out/establish a new framework for ref sheet commissions in the future. I've planned a bunch of features specifically targeted at shapeshifting characters that I'm personally very excited to share with you all when the time comes~!
One more thing I'm excited to share: I've launched a Patreon! I have a bunch of sweet tiers put together, and a whole bunch of Patron benefits, including access to my Discord server, discounts on regular commissions, and monthly sketches. Though, the highest tier that includes a personal monthly colored sketch has already sold out. But I will open up more slots for that tier later in the month, and existing patrons will be the first to hear when more slots are available.
https://www.patreon.com/CrizBN
I'll be streaming the first batch of Patreon sketches this Saturday. I'll make an announcement on my Twitter and in my Discord server when the stream is up and running. Anyway, feel free to check out my Patreon! It's always a pleasure to see new faces.
That's all for now, but as always, feel free to get in touch if you have questions about anything or need clarification. Here's to a great 2021.

Post-Octransfur Update - Future Plans
Posted 5 years agoSo that's Octransfur all done, and gosh that was fun! I'm genuinely flattered and grateful for the big response it received and all the great art the TF community put out over the month. I might have gotten the ball rolling on that, but all of you did the heavy lifting on turning Octransfur into a great trend, and I thank you all for that~
Anyhow, it's time to look forward to what comes next. I'm hoping that I can keep this recent personal trend of productivity going for myself, after taking a day or two to catch my breath of course.
First order of business will naturally be finally finishing my commissions queue and getting the art I owe the last few of you in the queue out to you. I'll get in touch this week to discuss that with those of you still in my queue.
After that, well, my plans are a bit more vague, though hopefully still exciting. I don't want to say too much before I get to that point, but I have lots of plans for YCHs and themes that you guys will hopefully find really exciting. As a hint, I played around with some of these themes in my Octransfur drawings, so if you want a preview of what's to come, then that's where to look for breadcrumbs~
Anyhow, that's all I have to say for now-- thanks again to all of you for sticking it out with me, and I wish you well~

Octransfur Auction Update
Posted 5 years agoJust wanted to make a quick update on how the Octransfur Auction (here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9630782/ ) is coming along.
I'm honestly surprised and flattered by the massive response I got from you all. Thank you! That said, here's how the top bids stand at the moment:
1) $45 - Day 30 (Dragon) -
TorashDrelton
2) $35 - Day 6 (Tail) -
AlsoIMainYoshi
An 18-way tie (!!!) for third place at $30
I still plan on taking only about the top dozen or so bids on as commissions, so any bids below that top 12 spot won't be taken in the end. Though, I'm still thinking about what to do in cases of ties like this. I'd be willing to go a bit past my stated limit, but I'll probably drop a few cases where someone is trying to buy multiple days and ask them to pick their favorite. That's not set in stone though-- I'll keep thinking about this and try my best to come up with a fair solution that leaves everyone happy.
And of course, bidding is still open until the 29th at noon, so things still have the chance to change in that way, also!
But anyway, that's all I have to say for now. Thanks again for the massive response! And as always, if you have comments, questions, or concerns, feel free to get in touch!

Octransfur Special Commissions Auction (closed)
Posted 5 years agoAlright, here is is, my Octransfur TF Auction. This is my first time doing something like this, so please bear with me.
The idea here is that you'll be receiving a TF based on the the day you pick-- you don't get any direct input on what the transformation will be, but you can let me know if you have any "do-not's" or triggers that I should avoid.
Each slot/day is for one character, to receive a full-body TF. The starting bid is $10, and the higher the bidding goes, the more detail the piece will have, as follows:
-$10 - Lined
-$20 - Colored
-$30 - Colored and shaded
The minimum increment for bids is $5, and bidding closes on September 29th at noon EST. Payment is due the day before your slot-- if you can't pay, then the day goes to the next-highest bidder.
Bid by leaving a comment below on the day you'd like to bid on. The prompts: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38238178/
I send invoices/take payment through PayPal invoice, so if you win, I will ask for an email where I can send the invoice. My other usual terms and conditions apply.
I'll be drawing the dozen or so days with the highest bids, which you'll be able to keep track of here.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch or leave a comment

Updated Trello - "Special Topic" Commissions
Posted 5 years agohttps://trello.com/b/m8uzU4wY/crizbns-art-projects
A little update: I've reorganized my Trello art queue for readability, to make it easier for you all to keep track of how I'm doing with your commissions (which I'm still working on, sorry ^^;), and you might notice a new category there, "YCH/Special Topics".
The idea of this new category is that they'll be special limited-time, limited-slot commissions either in a YCH format or of a certain topic that you can pick up outside of the regular queue, and I'll be putting these out at the same time as I work on my main regular queue.
I'm hoping that this will be a way for me to make a more consistent output of new art and focus on commissions better, and lead to lots of fun art in the future. With that said, I'll be sharing my first "special topic" idea shortly on my Twitter, and hopefully you'll all find it to be sweet~
