Soo my last update was 3 years ago...whoops!

Guess I'm really bad at this kinda thing. I don't want to make this too long tho.

Still battling with my good ol' friend depression, but it's been alleviated a bit by medication. And for a while alcohol, but that doesn't really help anymore, and yet I still drink it. (addiction sure is a bitch.)

But other than that, which is what I plan to actually work on starting January because it's something I've truthfully haven't even attempted to curb, my workflow especially with commissions has slowed considerably because I'm dealing with some family issues.

Long and short of it, mother had a big stroke (and then after a month back home, a heart attack), our healthcare system sucks, and she was only kept in a rehab/nursing home for 20 days because that's what our insurance could cover, so now me, my brother, and father have to pretty much do everything ourselves for her. (physically pick up, change and bathe) Sure, help comes, but like, every 3 days or so, the rest we have to do, and it's been really, really hard.

So I have to balance that with commissions, and it's been challenging, but I'm managing.

That's about it. I genuinely appreciate everyone's patience. This year's end has been unexpectedly rough, and I can only hope it'll improve in 2024.

Hello, hello!

This is a journal I don't often have to make, but to get to the point, I'm going on vacation this Friday (the 4th) and I won't be back until the 12th!

I know I don't particularly have to explain myself, but I like to anyway.

A childhood friend invited me to visit (back in my ol' hometown), and I'm going based on their schedule. If it was up to me, I'd finish all my remaining comms before I went, but sometimes, things just end up out of your control!

Commissions are once again open!

So just as a recap for those not in the know, I now take commissions through this form. How it works is, you fill it out with all of your commission info, I go through the responses and pick out the ones that sound fun/interesting for me to do, and the ones that didn't get picked are put on the waiting list for the next round of commissions. But that is only if I have around 15-20 people responding to this form. If it goes over those numbers, then there will not be a waiting list (too many people to pick and choose from!), and you will have to try for a commission another time.

I've found this to be a lot easier on me, keeps everyone's info in one place, and typically has people answering or filling out info they would probably miss if they were sending me their comm info through notes/email.


This form will be open for 24 hours before closing. I will then send everyone who's commission I picked an email of acceptance/or a spot in the waiting list. If you don't get an email from me, then you weren't picked!

Howdy!

So, I drive a 2014 Chevy Cruze. The driver's side window is off the track and I can't afford getting it fixed right now. The window is stopped at the top, but not closed all of the way. So when I drive the vibrations send the window down by inches and I have to keep pulling it back up just to get some use out of my AC. (I live in the south, and summer's practically here, so you can imagine it gets stinking hot here.)

But! Because of that opening, my AC is working harder than usual, and my car doesn't get as cool as it should.

So my question is, what product can/should I buy that will let me cover that little opening for the time being? I've been looking online, but not only do I not seem to be finding what I think I need, I'm not even sure what to actually look for.

I thought about putting several layers of duct tape over it, but I really don't want to have to clean up any residue that's left, once I take it off.

Any suggestions would be helpful!
