still living atm
Posted 10 years agowell the first week was all good but at the start of the second week now... Really just not liking the fact that I got stuck with a bad hotel on the Jersey side. Got four layers on and front desk didn't do squat about fixing the heat to the room I am in. I looked up the price the company paid to have me stay and nothing really makes sense in price or even the fact they put me into this hotel. The room itself seems a bit rundown. Would have been happier to stay up in Nyack, NY instead of being in North Bergen, NJ.
The room is cold enough right now to where I can see my breath, and the drips from the bathroom driving me nuts. >.< Just feel like I want to get the job down here done and then high tail it out of here.

Next Month
Posted 10 years agoI am going back downstate. NYC for two weeks, Albany for a week then I'll be up around Lake Champlain / Dannemora (located almost right in the Adirondack mountains) area for a week. I will have the most free time during the weekends and can hang out with any locals there. Just seems to be a crazy month for me coming up. Hopefully I get to meet at least one fur while I am in NYC this time around. Felt quite alone last time I was down there and was exploring NYC by myself. :(
more changes
Posted 10 years agoJust did a meeting with my main boss today. Discussed a lot about the pharmacies that I helped set up, take care of and etc. Towards the end of the meeting I get the unexpected question of "would you like to be head supervisor." I admit to just about standing there in shock and had a hard time believing it was going on. Also I will be replacing someone who has not been doing to well. Actual benefits though this time too. If I take the promotion, I'll have pretty much around over 50 people under me. I am mostly in disbelief cause stuff like this never happens to me and normally get the short straw like what happened at my last job. Just want to cry because it'll be a fourth promotion within a year. I did say yes in taking it and just a bit on the nervous side. I am looking at more work and going through stores as big as a supermarket. So, I am looking at all of OH, NY, PA and VT on the list and just going to hope I can do the job well.
Echoing this out...
Posted 11 years agohttp://www.gofundme.com/lrgwow He is one of my real life friends in a bind atm. He isn't a fur but he is a really good person whom I have known for years. Even if you cannot help at the tie please echo this out further and spread it around. He can use all the help he can get.
I thought I mind as well put this up
Posted 11 years agoThis is a little tough for me cause it still puts me off a good amount but since google is nice about clear photos, it kinda helps explain things better. I currently live with ptsd due to a car accident I had 5 years ago now. It occurred on the North Grand Island Bridge while I was going to college and on my way to class. I was driving the speed limit (55mph) and approaching the bridge. I had to dodge a woman who came to a dead stop on her cell phone on the bridge and an oncoming car from behind. The result of the accident was the right guard rail up to the bridge being taken out and me being halfway up the bridge with a 2000 impala completely wrecked. The only things I really remember now is dodging the two cars and the State Trooper tapping me on the shoulder to get my attention to see if I was alright.
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.062.....SUSnxulJUg!2e0
the link leads to what the bridge looked like before I had the accident and the right guardrail is what I took out entirely.
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.062.....2sRbqFFOdw!2e0
the second link is the after result of my accident. The solidified and extended the guard rail after realizing what could have happened. To this day I am glad I never wound up in the river.

old avi
Posted 11 years agoDecided to bring the old dragonair back for a bit. I was debating whether I should or not but decided to. I missed having the gem changing thing below his neck XD I do have a poke character that is a dragonair that I have not drawn in forever and it is almost as old as my dragonsoa. I may bring him back and also continue with a certain other character that needs to be finished since I stopped trying to draw him last year.
Just a random stream
Posted 11 years agoStarted really thinking about a lot of things
Posted 11 years agoThe new year and holidays was great and had a good time. I am glad I spent it the way I did to and got to spend it with meaningfully as well. Wouldn't change a thing about it. :3
Want to get some things out of my system though since I really started thinking about them as of recently. Looked back at the past 4 years and all I can say is a lot of dead ends both relationship wise and job wise. One thing I really started heavily looking at this time is where I want to go from here. I am okay with the job I have but it has no health insurance and is just an entry job with no real future. I mean the 13.50 an hour pay is great and all but not when the hours are determined by what you submit into the website used. On top of that a counter you have to use with an app in combination in submitting it in. The hours and all fluctuate to much for it to be anywhere stable. In other words, I am looking for new and better work.
I admit that I am now looking outside the Buffalo area and also considering outside of the country. I have tried applying to places and being aggressive but it got me nowhere. I got only one interview out of twenty place I applied for. Even tried for state trooper and EC Sheriff. Tried going into the service and got told there was no room and to old (this was 2 years ago now). So ya... At the point where I am now saying look outside the state and if anything, outside the country. Soon as I start finding jobs that are willing to help with travel and semi settling in, I'll probably be applying to those like crazy.
However, I am looking at limiting to places where I at least semi know someone, even though I have not met them in person and for good reason. IT makes the settling in part a lot more comfortable and much smoother transition. Here is where I am looking at the moment, USA state wise: mostly down in Florida near my cousins and uncle; West wise I'd probably go to Washington state since I know someone there from college; and Canada wise: it'd just be right over the boarder and in Ontario only (work visa or something of the sort and be good to go). As for further out or away... I admit to being nervous and picky at the same time. I plan to stick with English speaking first though since the transition would be not so hard. The UK and Australia are my only two choices (friends and family connections there). The only one that I have on the non English is Germany. Each is mainly due to me being where I feel would be comfortable.
In many ways I love a lot that is in the area but Job wise I have had no luck in getting in anywhere. From Time Warner to Fabvouskabi... just got nothing. UPS was only doing seasonal so couldn't even go there either. So .. ya kinda in rock and a hard place. Hopefully things pan out for the better no matter where I end up. I'll continue trying locally but if something brings me ot of state and country, I am going, no matter what. Wish me luck.

Posted 11 years agoGot wind of the news earlier today but decided just to post about it now. The incident at MFF is on a lot of news site. Powder chlorine is not something to even be around and hopefully the idiot is caught. Likely that it may not happened due to where the chemicals were found but people who do dumb stuff like that need a wakeup call. Hopefully everyone is doing well and the incident did not hinder the experience at MFF for those there.
ORAS
Posted 11 years agojust finished sapphire, omg what fun and more to it then expected. So much there for sure and the ending is just epic. I admit to transferring a low lv vappyl from Kalos over to get a jump on it ^^; However, that very vaporeon easily a core member of the main team :D Helped catch a Legendary and take out 80% of the gyms. Also helped bulldoze 3 of the 4 elite 4 which was fun. Not going to really get into it but will admit that for once I got to actually spend 26+ hours just to get through the main story line. Will go at Omega Ruby next though since Sapphire is done. :P
ok this is for those playing Smash Bros...
Posted 11 years agoWe all know mewtwo is gonna be a dlc but there are 3 others right now. One is Ridley, the other two are Dixie and chorus men. Kinda though I might as well pass this out there.

scary thing is... the info has been around since before the confirmation of mewtwo being brought back.

Posted 11 years agointeresting week for sure and good to see FA back up along with other sites that were hit. Guess the dingbats ran out of their stolen cash to keep the DDOS going. To do an attack that goes up and beyond 10GB had to be unbelievably expensive but what can ya do, eh? Least it is over and things back to normal.
dry land
Posted 11 years agowent back into the old fashioned dry land training and also worken out at the gym more. Not trying to bulk up, mostly trying to get the endurance back along with the weight I had when I was swimming in college. 4.5 years and I weighed in at 185 at the most and it means I have around 40lbs to go to get back there. Been a lazy ass for 4 years and so far dropped from 248 down to 220 since the beginning of summer. Slow but sure and wil definitely be happy to be fit and not out of breath after a 30min run. Lazy vappy was lazy for to long >.>
paypal... (rant warning) [wee update]
Posted 11 years agoit is a convenience but also a damn pain to put up with. for the past 2 weeks it has done nothing but give me a hasel. "can't do this unless ya confirm this" "can't allow this because this is not done" is becoming a broken record with that site. "You have reached the limit of how much you can send, receive, or transfer" is another one. For hecks sake this site was never a huge issue in the past, now ya have to do multiple things to even do a single thing on that site. Solve one issue and another one pops up. Just really getting fed up with the site because I want to transfer something to my bank account and it has not let me at all for the past week and a half. (end of rant)
Finally go the annoying bit fixed and got my account back unlocked finally @.@ *shakes fist at paypal* now let me in peace darnit!!!!!

Posted 11 years agojust a lot on my mind right now. Between going to a wake tonight and now another attempt by some lunatic trying to poison my dog AGAIN!!! I am seriously loosing faith in humanity. It's just this generation of kids are just outright no common sense at all.
Birthday
Posted 11 years agoI am now 26. o.o Guess it is time to start the 2nd quarter of my life... somewhere... oh and first birthday as a Vappy o.o so ummm ya...
*sighs*
Posted 11 years agoThe job in Queens NY was canceled so will not be revisiting unfortunately as far as I know. :( Other then that got lots of work to do after this weekend and up to the 9th with it being all local pharmacies to take care of. The weekend so far has been okay but nothing exciting. Got the bowling meet tonight, family reunion tomorrow and then Labor Day on Monday. Tues is the long trip out to Caledonia (outside of Rochester). Sadly it is work right on my birthday but eh worked it before. -.- Other then that really nothing new and that is all to actually update about.
SAO Commission...
Posted 11 years agoI admit I really like that anime now o.o However, there is one boss fight in the anime that is literally etched into my mind it is in episode 9. Duel sword wielding plus speed and countering something 5 times your size and strength is insane. lol But onto what the title of the journal suggests... I am seriously looking for an artist tat could pull off having my fursona just staring down that huge demon with both swords in hand. Not going to give all details but it is epic.
Link to episode: http://anilinkz.com/sword-art-online-episode-9
14 min in is the main event of it. I will look around FA but hopefully I find someone that would be interested in doing it.

Still waiting... and more stuff
Posted 11 years agoStill waiting on the info of when I will be going back to NYC. Hopefully I get the info soon. Sucks waiting but also waiting on a package containing paperwork to. Normally I do not get much but I was given info about the stuff needing to be done next month... it is two chemistry textbooks thick worth. *just about faints* So going to be worken my tail off for the first couple weeks. Other then that I get homework stuff for this week along with a conference to attend on Wed. for an hour. Nothing to bad and normal work there.
As for other things happening, got family reunion in which I am excited about. Also I have my birthday next Tues. and sad part is that I am working that day. Hopefully I can get done early enough to have fun the rest of the day. :)

Back to the Big Apple
Posted 11 years agoMy boss decided to send me back down into NYC but to work in Queens. Just got the notification on the email today. Eye drops, etc gonna need again. My body is not use to the air down there (tons more car and truck exhaust from the business down there plus lower elevation). Nice place to visit but got lucky to be in decent area. Hopefully this next area is same thing. I will put more info up as time goes while I get more information. Just was not expecting to go back downstate so soon.
........................... (edit)
Posted 11 years agoGoing to be in car and riding on the road for awhile just to try and keep my sanity. Have to get out of here before looking at these 4 walls drives me nuts. May do this more often.
(edit) starting to feel a little better and grabbing coffee as well. Also decided to clear up my FB and going to be more conservative. Kinda tired of all the random people I have on there. Fake friends are pretty much stone sculptures, nice decoration but useless. So it is all smash, crash and kick now.
