Rest in peace Chimino (7/29/2025) VENT

These have been very complicated weeks, But more the last 2-3 weeks lately, I was posting the situation more closely on Patreon and IG, but here I hadn't done it because of the hiatus, I was out and put my to-dos on hold to take care of my little dog. He had an accident and I had to be with him 24/7, sleeping next to him, helping him to eat, I had hope that he would get up and take him to veterinarians and specialists to find good news and a way to give him physical therapy, but in the end his neurologist diagnosed him with Schiff-Sherrington syndrome and because of his age it was already more than critical to put him in surgery, and that's not even counting the things that had to be done to see if he qualified, including x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging, etc. 1-2 days before I let him go he had started to stop eating and was breathing with difficulty, I knew something was more than wrong, he was no longer sleeping because of the discomfort, he was no longer defecating, he only drank water and had to that adjusting him every few hours in his bed was a martyrdom for him, I consulted with his main veterinarian and there was only one answer, The day I feared most had arrived.
I can only say that he left in peace, looking into my eyes and I never let go his little paw or stopped petting him until his last breath. I couldn't allow him to spend another night suffering like that.So with all the pain in my heart I let him go, because to love is to let go too and I always looked out for his well-being. It would have been very selfish of me for him to live only for me.
He left peacefully and lying in his bed and on the blanket that I gave him with which I came into the world, he left this existential plane
The only thing that consoles me is that he was a very loved, spoiled dog and I gave everything for him. I want to thank you enormously for the times you supported my dog to have a quality of life in his last days, You who supported me were more than important to me and Chimino's life.
Today marks one week since he left, at 6:33 PM Mexico time I'm not going to lie, I can completely miss him at home, I donated my dog's medication to help future puppies. I don't think I'll ever heal this wound, you just learn to live with it, he was my first dog and the best, if there is a kind of heaven for those little ones I hope he's running around and snooping around everywhere he went, he was a curious little boy who liked to sniff everything
I know I'm on hiatus but I want to open just a small slot to be able to cover Chimino's funeral expenses, I was ruined with the medication and specialist appointments with veterinarians and mom had to give me a loan so I can rest my little one and have his ashes. I would greatly appreciate this support. I just wanted to vent a little about his week-long absence.
Hope you're doing well guys, I hope to return soon, for now it's still complicated for me to return to work with this, I've tried but I still burst into tears easily, the loss of a pet/family is heartbreaking. I hope for your understanding... thanks

HIATUS

This journal is purely communicative, especially for all my clients, for whom I've had a waiting list for a while now. Some of you have already noticed that I "deleted" it (it's still available in my saved journals) because that waiting list wasn't updating properly anymore. So, for greater convenience and on the advice of others, I decided to create a Trello! I hope this method is more convenient and better for all those who support me! I also wanted to let you know that I think I'm going into a partial HIATUS because mental health to don't feel so overwhelmed with all my pending tasks. Some of my closest clients already know what I've been going through since the beginning of the year, or even share my day-to-day life on IG or below the descriptions of some recent posts, like dealing with the situation with my dog's health, which I am SUPER SUPER SUPER grateful for your support! If it helps, I can give the update that my little dog is doing much better! His pain when trying to sleep (due to the spinal damage he has) and his vestibular syndrome are stable! He is now more active and is living the quality of life he deserves. I can never stop being so grateful. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
On the other way I have had various physical difficulties that I shared and due to the same situation in which I am professionally stagnant I have not been able to afford my health such as the inability to pay attention for weeks due to pericoronitis or gastritis that caused me due to sleeplessness, no eating well and stress, or the anxiety attacks that I suffered last year, do not worry about me, if everything goes well with this decision that I am taking to focus on clearing all my pending tasks in order to be better settled, I prefer a thousand times that my pets are well, I can deal with myself but you know that my pets are everything to me, that makes me highlight that one of my guinea pigs (Tomasa) passed away at the beginning of February and it affected me but it comforts me and I hope that the same as you, She passed away due to her age, I acquired her when I lost the guinea pig that appears on my banner, my best friend got her for me and she was adopted from an abusive place where they used her as a breeding reasons, it comforts me to know that I was able to give her the opportunity of a good life until the last moment, she was a big and chubby guinea pig very affectionate who passed away peacefully in her bed...
I think the last thing to highlight is that 2 weeks ago my maternal grandmother, who I was caring for since the end of February and who was admitted, was in and out of the hospital due to quite complicated issues... she passed away, I have tried to be strong but losing a member of your family who was very close to you and seeing your mother devastated by everything is physically and mentally exhausting. We did it to try to keep her with us. There are no words, we are still very hurt but I try to stay strong for my pets, my friends, my mother, my maternal great-grandmother and FOR YOU, because despite all these complicated months and years you have been here and supported me, with your support, I have managed to keep my pets comfortable and have been able to pay for medical and funeral bills.
My inactivity was quite noticeable on both sites: here and Patreon, and I wanted to come back with something big as a way of thanking you for being here with me but having so many pending tasks, not being in my best position and seeing that more things are being accumulated I decided to keep them with a weekly fanart, sometimes I read that I had to give myself breaks and draw a little for myself, I thought about it and believed that Fanarts are a good idea both to not be absent for my supporters to have exclusive content and rewards and for my work to be for the fandom (while I work mainly on commissions and rewards, I do the Fanart in my free time, I didn't want to lose my love for drawing), I did not want my work to be reflected only in those who can support me financially, I wanted to share with you with nice works of waifus from the furry fandom because they have been very interested in seeing some of these characters in my style
A few days ago I made a poll on IG to ask if you were ok with this because I thought I was taking this decision the wrong way but I got a good response from you that you were genuinely enjoying this small change in my material, one of my biggest problems as an artist is that I didn't see where to take my art, last year a friend invited me to be part of his art stand at an anime convention from my city and... WOW it made me want to get to something like this, for that I must work a lot with Fanart or personal content that I can use in my portfolio and present it when I want to apply to an Artist Valley, this motivated me a lot because I saw it as an artist's dream since I was a 10-12 year old kid when I went to my first conventions and saw these spaces for artists, I saw it as something very impossible because I had no knowledge of anything about how to start, my good friend who came from another country to share his designs here gave me all the information and advice I need to make this come true, he gave me a purpose / goal to fulfill, something that I had lost a LONG time ago, I just drew and that's it, I mean, I don't saying I dont enjoy it, I LOVE being able to capture my style in their beautiful characters or help you create one from 0 but I only saw myself as a failed artist without goals, I had 6 wonderful years as a professional artist, I feel like a failed person who works and works but for what? ... I want to find a purpose again, I am in a position where everyone is graduating and I am falling behind, when I wanted to become independent you know what happened with my ex, breach of trust, theft and destruction of my work equipment, he destroyed / lost pieces that I'm still working on recovering and more sh!t
Patreon was created for various things among those to be able to pay for a university tuition but due to the aforementioned with the loss of my maternal grandmother and other things that I had to attend to, I see the need to pause that and more because I really want to be able to return as the artist you deserve for all the support I have received over the years, I am very grateful to this community but I want to be able to start the new stage (if I return from the hiatus) as a new Crystalberry, a new Oliver, directly or indirectly of the actions that I have done or not that led me to this position I must answer because I almost forgot to mention that this account has been managed since the beginning of the year only by me, Oliver F, what happened to my team after the siatuation of my ex?!, they are doing very well! Jane and her FIANCE, are about to get married in July! As many know they are my best friends for 8 years, but right since their proposal that was in November they have been very busy with the preparations for their wedding and adding that they have a son, their responsibilities are greater and their priority is understandable, so I took over from being just 1 artist at the beginning of the year, that's why it's being more complicated to carry everything, commissions, Patreon, fanarts, animations, etc., I know I can get this done on my own, it's just a matter of time and patience but to make this bigger I have made the decision to go on hiatus to only focus on my works to do!
As one last thing that is IMPORTANT to mention for all my accumulated clients.....today when I woke up I wanted to charge one of my cell phones (I had 2, one is for business and the other personal), the business one phone has been with me for 6 years and the screen was already failing a little, I am one of those crazy people that until a cell phone is falling into pieces (...literally) is that I change devices, I sleep in a bunk bed on the top... And when I wanted to charge the device it slipped from my hands and CRASH! I had to retire that cell phone, 6 years of battle! Ehhh! the problem?!!!!! As I mentioned before it was my business cell phone! My bank accounts, Telegram, IG, and other apps I had to reinstall as an emergency on my personal cell phone and I am given the horrible news that I LOST some contacts / chats that I already mentioned and communicated with this situation on IG and FB in case you're one of my clients (especially the old ones) send me a DM on the social network where we were in contact! I would really appreciate it!! (I also made this announcement to make people aware of this)

Posted a year agoI had posted a little about my situation on social networks like IG and FB but not on the main forum, I'm really not in the mood to post as I would like so...
Since Sunday I started having quite serious anxiety crisis episodes again, it hasn't happened to me since the beginning of the year but they came back and what triggers it is due to various circumstances such as metabolic imbalance and super work stress, I spend all my time working and Thinking about work, I reached my limit and because in my crisis I had numbness of the jaw and other parts of the body, insomnia, headaches, pressure in the head, poor concentration, lack of breathing, tachycardia and excessive sweating, today I scheduled my emergency appointment with my psychologist, I already had my session and after that I slept as if I had never slept before, I woke up and I feel like I had enough rest to continue because as the days go by I feel like the worst artist in the world and guilty of not be as professional as I would like with you with all the pending commission, patreon, etc., that's all I wanted to inform you about why my inactivity

My liver is being trampled by the stress of the last 2 days, I'm typing this at 4 AM because it really doesn't take long for me to sort out my files on the PC and I really can't sleep because of how bad I feel
What happened? My ex, Evan doesn't seem to like me giving my testimonial on "We need to talk" and he kept going around trying to destroy my job as a full time digital artist which is something I love doing very much, he made some of my social circle go away from me but my family and best friends are with me and it's all I need, I'm still with all of you and that's what matters to me
Yesterday I don't know how he did it but he managed to reset my computer, luckily my mother put security cameras after several intense things that happened in my house, blessed idea of my mother because yesterday she captured how this individual entered my house and he went to look for my work space to break down my computer, this man is really dangerous (he tried to kick my dog and he spit on my guinea pigs) we already went to made a police report with the video evidence
Guys, I tried all this day to recover almost finished files / jobs from some customers but I will list the status of certain commissions to those that I simply could not recover and to those that did, some pieces had backups because I sent one files to telegram , today I was planning to deliver 2 commissions, 1 was saved but the other one I could simply recover until the coloring when I was just finishing the lighting....
I am helpless and stressed like you have no idea, just making wait any longer I feel like I have become in the eyes of others as a informal artist and I trying to get ahead, I have no words to apologize hugely for this, I know this not my fault but God....
I really don't care about having lost personal things from my PC, what really hurts me is having lost files, my time and dedication to certain works have been in vain and I'm tired but I remain strong for you, the person who managed to recover certain files he recommended me to make several backups (done) and get another PC because it really is a bit affected internally by what my ex did and well, also learn to save files in Google Drive and Telegram as a backup....
Having delivered a sketch at the beginning is a good backups to me ;;;;;; but uuuugh

My liver is being trampled by the stress of the last 2 days, I'm typing this at 4 AM because it really doesn't take long for me to sort out my files on the PC and I really can't sleep because of how bad I feel
What happened? My ex, Evan doesn't seem to like me giving my testimonial on "We need to talk" and he kept going around trying to destroy my job as a full time digital artist which is something I love doing very much, he made some of my social circle go away from me but my family and best friends are with me and it's all I need, I'm still with all of you and that's what matters to me
Yesterday I don't know how he did it but he managed to reset my computer, luckily my mother put security cameras after several intense things that happened in my house, blessed idea of my mother because yesterday she captured how this individual entered my house and he went to look for my work space to break down my computer, this man is really dangerous (he tried to kick my dog and he spit on my guinea pigs) we already went to made a police report with the video evidence
Guys, I tried all this day to recover almost finished files / jobs from some customers but I will list the status of certain commissions to those that I simply could not recover and to those that did, some pieces had backups because I sent one files to telegram , today I was planning to deliver 2 commissions, 1 was saved but the other one I could simply recover until the coloring when I was just finishing the lighting....
I am helpless and stressed like you have no idea, just making wait any longer I feel like I have become in the eyes of others as a informal artist and I trying to get ahead, I have no words to apologize hugely for this, I know this not my fault but God....
I really don't care about having lost personal things from my PC, what really hurts me is having lost files, my time and dedication to certain works have been in vain and I'm tired but I remain strong for you, the person who managed to recover certain files he recommended me to make several backups (done) and get another PC because it really is a bit affected internally by what my ex did and well, also learn to save files in Google Drive and Telegram as a backup....
Having delivered a sketch at the beginning is a good backups to me ;;;;;; but uuuugh

Posted 2 years agoHi guys! It had been a long time since I did this but I find myself in a desperate situation...
A few days ago, at night (12-1 AM) I was having some time with my guinea pigs, when my attention focused on seeing my little dog spinning on the carpet of my house, I thought he wanted to settle down to sleep but When I saw that he was tilting his head and trying to stand in balance,
I was scared because I thought he was having a convultion, I hugged him so he could be more comfortable and not get hurt while I cried desperately about where to take him at that time of night, finally my dog slept in my arms and wished that the next day my little boy was feeling better, I was afraid he would just not wake up, I didn't sleep that night but luckily he woke up without that strange movement in his eyes and with a good balance, my dog are 10 years old with me, the vet says he is around 14-15 years old! (he is a rescued dog so that's why I don't know his exact age) is an old dog but adorable and he doesn't have any more teeth or hearing, so I could imagine that my dog had sensory / balance problems, I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with "vestibular syndrome", his vet told me that due to his age he is going to have these episodes due to his age, so I want to give him a quality of life with his medications and appointments, which is why I find myself in need of opening these emergency commissions. I will be enormously grateful if you support me with a commission as you have no idea and I will be updating if I have been on IG or Twitter but please I NEED your help :(((

Posted 3 years agoI don't want to be very invasive with details out of respect for my bf Bella but we are going through a very complicated situation.
Almost 1 year ago we had the decision to go live together in a small apartment for comfort and needs as our work here has been with the illustrations, goals, studies, etc.
The apartment we moved to rent was provided to us as help by part of Bella's family, but the owner of the same has gotten into really serious problems in which we are forced to move.
We feel frustrated and angry to have to do this, Bella is the one I see affected the most because she practically grew up in this place and has to leave everything she knows due to bad decisions of a family member.
We were this week looking like crazy and desperate for where to move because Bella has decided to leave her university again and I'm convincing her not to do it, she started studying again at the beginning of the year and has done pretty well enough to abandon all the effort to something that she didn't do, but she doesn't seem capable of achieving all this, so I'm just being the best for her, the year started aggressive and I think it's going to get more complicated, but we'll get through together, life gets complicated sometimes and it's fine but oh god..
Thanks to the support and patience of all you fluffies that have made it possible to grow and all the wonderful comments, I'll be with Bella in good times and bad. We will be working very hard to continue delivering all the pending commissions cuz the move is complicated and expensive

This month is important to both me and Bella, we were surprised by the amount of support and good reception that there was for my best friend, we wanted to do some little comics about how did we meet, also.....commissions will be more "limited" up to 3-5 per month, The reason is because Bella and I are working on exclusive content and animations at PATREON! Yes! We will open a patreon and I hope you will support us in creating really cool content like animations, fanarts, fursuits and plushies, we have many things to do! 💙💖

I had no plans to open commissions since I am busy with other pending commissions to finish but I find it necessary to open them with bad news that I received yesterday, my health is fatal, my parents are supporting me enough to get ahead, however I want to support economically because it is my health...
I will open a quantity of 7 slots to be able to deliver commissions in this month and also in the middle of the next...thanks...

I was discharged from the hospital where my surgery was done!! >w< all right luckily and I feel very happy and relieved for my situation, I still have to go but everything bad has ended~ 💙

I inform everything you need to know about my commissions n_n
If in any future I open general commissions I will notify you my sites:
●FACEBOOK
●INSTAGRAM
●TWITTER
➤INFORMATION
●Depending on the amount of detail you have on your character prices will fluctuate based on how long it will take me (EXAMPLE: Really long curly hair, big weapons, wings, etc).
●When an extra character is small like a pet, doll or similar accessory, then price can be negotiated.
●After paying you can find a waiting list so you can see your turn and also the status of your commission (sketch, lineart, etc)
➤RULES
●All commissions are important, we work meticulously with them and it don't interfere with our opening of commissions, which without exception is the 28th of each month
●after the first WIP is delivered there will be no refunds
●Payment upfront. (only via Paypal)
●Please give me a social network like: Facebook, Twitter, Discord or Telegram (preferably Telegram) to keep comunicated with me and so send advances of your
commission
●When you pay I'll send you WIP's constantly so you can see the progress of your commission and also for you to see if you like it or to make small changes.
●I always organize my time to be able to deliver a commission, I would appreciate if you did not rush me, artworks take time to reach a very good and quality result, if your commission is a gift, please take your time so that we can reach an agreement for delivery on a specific date.
●Let me know if I can submit your commission in my sites.
