So I was going around on Telegram with an orca picture for my profile pic and people seemed to like it so
I figured eh screw, let's make a new sona! I have wanted to make a new character for a good while now
and it was going to be a Xenomorph but that would be very difficult to create a unique look for. I've already
come up with a name for my orca sona, the name is Platto and he will be a very into martial arts, a little more
serious compared to Drag. He will of course be bulky and muscular but I don't want to go overboard with, stay
some what within the realm of realism(As real as you can get for a toony, anthro orca :P)

Now I just have to get back to drawing >.>

Soooooo this year has been pretty terrible. The only good thing that has happened has been getting a job but even that didn't even help much.
Right after I was hired and worked for about a week a bogan neighbour of mine kicked in the door to my unit and tried to choke my partner. I punched the neighbour in the face but unfortunately fell over and he turned his attention to me, pinning me against the cupboards and kneeing me in the face multiple time, luckily guy's ex was around and pulled him off me. He ran off but turned himself in to the Police later. I went to the hospital just to be safe and I was completely fine but since I didn't have ambulance cover I was hit with a hefty fine, well over $1000. So my partner and I went to the Victims of Crime group and they are helping deal with the ambulance fine and get us compensation.

Now we are looking for a new place to move to but as well as stressing over that, I was pulled over driving by Police from Morwell because the registration had expired back in November. So that was another fine we payed off, we could afford that one.
However, the new stress on me right now is that I wanted to get the car under my name because it was still under my Nana's name and that's why my Dad and I never got a notice about the registration expiring.(My Nana passed away and the retirement home didn't know who to send it to somehow).
So I took the car in to the mechanic for a road worthy test and was told I would need to spend estimated around $3500 in repairs. So I will need to decide on either saving that amount or just get a new car. I am leaning towards getting a new car.

So that is what I have been dealing with over the past 3 months. Struggling to save money and life just keeps throwing things at my partner and I. Thankfully friends and family are there to help me out and keep me positive. I can't thank my brother enough to drive my partner and I around to where we need to be while we hunt for a new car and new home.
I hope in the future i will look back at this time in a better position.

So the past few weeks I have been getting into a groove of streaming video games. (Mainly just PC games because I don't have a capture card)
Started off just playing Squad, a multiplayer modern military shooter that is if ARMA and Battlefield 2 had a baby. But I wanted to stand out a
bit more so got into playing older PC games. I started with Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, then moved onto Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus and
finished it with a couple of viewers. Now I'm going to move onto Thief 2 - The Metal Age and continue after that with more stealth games and
see how that lasts until I want to play a completely different genre. I want to avoid playing the latest games just to get the attention of those
who are watching to see the new game, the big streamers will get those people anyway so I'll just stick to older games and games I really enjoy.

So i have just recently moved out of my parents home. A move that was encouraged by the visit from my boyfriend. He moved out of Melbourne back to his Father's all the way on the other side of the state, to an even more isolated and smaller town compared to where we live now which is still in my home town. He came down to where I live which was a 7 hour trip on public transport. We visited the local real estate agencies and found a decent amount of places we could pick to rent. Just a week later we were called by a landlord merely an hour after checking the place out and we immediately accepted it. Its cheap and had been recently refurbished. Almost another week of setting up power and internet, signing documents and moving stuff, I am now finally moved in.

This is the second day of sleeping here and I can sense the adaption will take a while. My first proper leap into independence will be a shock. The almost constant payment for food, necessitates, bills. No parents to fall back onto, survival has never been such a relevant feeling to ponder. Luckily though my boyfriend is used to this independence and he is showing me the way, I feel like a child compared to his experience so I will make sure to show that I am appreciative of his guidance. But I don't want him have to do everything and that's what makes me worried, in inexperience being a crutch to our survival.

This is only the beginning so we will see how everything goes as the weeks pass by. Still gotta look for work, that will make things a bit easier although I do lack experience so that mission will be rough. The future is looking exciting but also very daunting.

So for a while I've been wanting to create a Xenomorph sona of some kind and now I'm really thinking about how to have the sona be different from other Xenomorphs, make it stand out. The personality would be much, much more reserved compared to Drag. The sona would be quiet and kind of reluctant to talk to people it's not used to (Like me in real life). It'll have a punky fashion sense but not too much that its obnoxious. Thinking of a name will be the hardest part.

So once i've figured all that out I will seek out someone to commission.

Had a dream last night where I drank a potion and turned into a dragon. Probably the most detailed and memorable dream I've ever had.
Thinking about it over breakfast, I wished it could have lasted a bit longer. i want to experience it again.

So today I turn 20 hurray ^o^

Going to be going out for Chinese for dinner with friends then have a couple of friends stay over for games and movies and such.

Ooooh what a weekend. I had a great time hanging out with my furry friends at Confurgence.

DAY 1
 LeanderDane was very generous to let me stay at her place for the duration of the con and I recieved my first con badge. There were many more friends to hang out with and hug this year and that made it even more enjoyable. Thankfully the weather was cooler on Friday so I did fursuit. I honestly can't remember if I fursuited much that day though ^^; However I left my fursuit in the headless lounge after 7PM which is when the room was meant to be closed and someone had stuffed Drag's head into my bag, causing the already broken front horn to come off even more. Went back to Leander's place and played some Halo 5 Beta. Oh and  SeraphsFin also tagged along too ^o^

DAY 2
Saturday was fursuit walk day, even though Drag's horn was in a bad condition he was still eager to go out for a walk into the big city with all the other fluffies. But before all that, the gang and I just hanged about at the con(We were all pretty tired) and watched a small panel about table top RPG's. I used that as a opportunity to mention to one of the panelists about a RPG channel on YouTube called "Itmejp".
Finally it was time to release Drag to the big city of Melbourne. All the fluffs and scalies and various other creatures gathered together and ventured forth(With the help of handlers of course) to the State Library where we all got together for a big photo and interact with curious civilians. Then we were off to Melbourne Central annnnnd we were all pretty much all squished in like sardines it was sooooo crowded.
Didn't bother with any other panels after that, went with a bunch of other people to  TheKimbo 's hotel for pizza! The rest of the night was pretty quiet.

DAY 3
Day 3 was my last day at the convention and in Melbourne, I picked up my poster that I had purchased on day 1, got to hang out with a friend who lives in the same town as I do, attended another panel about fursuiting and then later on attended the charity auction. It was then time to say my goodbyes to my friends and head back to Flinder St to go back home.

And oh how I miss those guys, all the hugs and cuddles, the awesome fursuits, the friendliness. Drag has not fully returned, infact he is being repaired by Leander because he was in dire need of fixing after the horn nearly came off again. I really really appreciate her generosity and also everyone else's kindness and happiness even if the con got tiring or annoying. I can't wait to head back to Melbourne for a fur meet and meet up with everyone again.

Yep the cutest dragon of the country-side is heading to the big busy streets of Melbourne for Confurgence. This time he'll be there for the 3 days. He can't wait to meet all his friends and furs he's haven't talked to in a long time. Maybe this time he'll be in more photos ;)
