What to do about a missing commission....
Posted 11 years agoI commissioned someone almost a year ago. I've tried contacting this person maybe 3 times over that time period and have been ignored 2 times. The first time, I was told not to be rude or rush things. That was 3 months after the commission. I don't know what else to do. This person just posted a journal saying that they are open for commissions so its obvious this person is either scamming people or ignoring my commission. Anyone have any suggestions? I also had a note from someone who said it took almost 2 years to get a commission from this person so don't worry if you seem rude to this person because they overreact to people who are scammed by her.
As for the other 2 commissioners I paid for, you both have already responded to me and I know your situation. Take as much time as you need.

Posted 11 years agoSo a friend of mine did an art piece on facebook for someone. She did not take money up front and when she sent the piece to the guy, he deleted his fb account. After asking his boyfriend why his partner would do such a thing, he did the same thing. There be thieves out there be careful :(

Posted 11 years agosorry for disappearing. I know I owe some stories I apologize especially to the ones that I almost had finished. They're almost done and I should have them done by next weekend, work permitted. I have a new job and have been training and helping others so I haven't had any free time. Kinda annoying but I'm nice like that.... anyway hopefully none of you are mad at me

random rant about artist prices and other various things
Posted 11 years agoWhy do people pay so much for art that isn't that great, borderline amateurish? Just curious because I see uploads of a ton of art from the same artists doing speed sketches etc and charging way more than they're worth. I just don't get it is all.
I guess my point is, it pains me to see people buy art for more than its worth and then be upset when the art comes out like all the artists other works, making them feel cheated.
P.S. these artists also complain almost every second about everything and well I'm sick of having to delete 300 journals a day just because an artist can't decide which pissed off mood to stick with. Sorry, I may sound a little ignorant maybe but I just needed to say that.

Quit saying 1 word responses and help drive the conversation. Seems like all I can do is find people who wanna add me but not talk
