To my GREAT surprise, Adobe actually honored my purchase, and generated a new serial key for my photoshop.

Seems they really have taken some kind of authentication servers offline.

Why on earth a program that isnt on a rental time period or subscription service needs to "authenticate" beyond its initial activation is beyond me.

Lovely, now my PS cs5 is borked up. Anyone else getting a sudden serial number not working error? I've had this on my pc for years now, it's a legit copy. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have two available.

If I get patreon and or Ko-fi memberships going these are some ideas I'm pondering over. What do you think of them?

I'd like to 'crowdfund' some fanart and OC art. ex: Krystal, Renamon, Maid Marrion, my oc Albinus and Zahara.

Would you be up for rewards such as:

$1 = receive a non watermarked 72 dpi version of all artwork and the ability to vote on up coming subjects

$5 = receive a 300 dpi non watermarked version of all artwork and the ability to vote on up coming subjects.

$10 = The PSD and or a video time lapse of the artwork, plus the $5 tier rewards.

$50 = A 'Wing it' style thigh high sketch commission (no edits, just a sketch ) of a char of your choosing plus the lower tier rewards.


Now this will only work if I'm able to get enough folks to hit the monthly goal. I just don't have the capcity to juggle a full color piece and do commissions and or adopts .

Does this sound like something you'd personally be interested in? do you have suggestions of other rewards? (please don't suggest physical good that need to be mailed or other styles of commission)

I've had a few folks suggest I try going back to running a patreon.. tho the last few years Patreon has had some problems.

But I want to see what folks think. Would you be interested in that if I were to set it back up? What sort of rewards would you like to see? ( please don't suggest commissions or physical items. )

Ko-fi allows for a similar set up if that would be preferred?

Okay so I get that folks REALLY REALLY hate text on artwork. So how can I better show when something is available for purchase? Titles seem to get ignored or are easy to miss.

On that same topic, I get most of you are not into adoptables, but besides commissions what other ways do you support artists that you like? I can't go to cons any more so making random merch isn't something I can do. Shipping just gets too stupid and with Redbubble going insane with it's pricing it's also no longer an option. People were never all that gangbusters about it anyway.



I know a lot of folks are hurting due to inflation and stagnate wages, but art is still my only way of paying my bills right now. There are no remote jobs that I can find that are legit that I'm capable of doing and nothing in town that I'm physically capable of doing.


I've tried offering tutoring and classes for painting and drawing, few people took up the offer. I've offered video tutorials and so far only 1 person has bought it. People apparently don't want adopt / fursona bases either.


Is there anything else I can offer? I know folks buy original art from other artists that aren't comics and aren't fan art but I can't seem to make that work.

I'm having a really hard time creating color palettes with good value and harmony. Any recommendations on specific techniques, color wheel apps, or palette generators? I've googled but so far haven't found one that works well for my needs.

Should I make a seperate Adopts Art Only Account?

I am wondering if it'd help to have an account for folks who are interested in my adopts.


I am curious, why do you watch my art? I know most of you aren't interested in adopts. But outside of commissions, what is it that interested you in my art?

Anyone have any good suggestions to paypal alternatives? not having any problems with it, just want to know what other options there are out there. :)

Quick update. All is well for house and home, the hurricane turned east so my area got very little damage or flooding. Sadly my Fibromyalgia is very weather sensitive so I've felt like utter trash. Hopefully I'll be able to draw again soon.
