Back around February, my cat of 12 years (he was 16) passed away. So, my neighbors were looking to get a new cat to replace him, given that Dunbar was originally theirs, and that he decided that he liked me better. So, last Friday, we picked out a new one from the San Francisco SPCA. Her name is Etta, but will probably be renamed Porsche. She's so cute, well behaved, like to sit in your lap, and has a white tip on her tail, making her distinctive. May she be around for years to come.

We just learned the “kill the gays” bill - a death sentence for LGBT people in Uganda - could come up for a vote in the next 12 hours if we don’t act now.

Conservative leaders are trying hard to push the bill forward before the millions like us who oppose it have a chance to speak out. If we can create a massive international outcry, theres a chance to stop this bill from becoming law.

This hateful bill appears to be a political diversion, a way to distract from the legitimate grievances of pro-democracy activists, who have been beaten, teargassed, jailed, and even killed in recent weeks.

I'm sick and tired of all these banners advertising artists who draw porn and such. It's really ridiculous, and it's only contributing to our pseudo-pariah status in the world. I honestly don't see Fox/Krystal as an effective pair. Fox is a warrior, he takes life, but Krystal comes across as a healer, which preserves it. I really don't see Krystal as a warrior, so I wouldn't think that the relationship would work. Fox/Fara on the other hand, would work spectacularly in my opinion, as Fara is also a warrior. She's also from the same bio-diversity region as Fox, thus they would be able to have kits together, where as Krystal is from a whole other bio-diversity region, and thus might not not be corss-fertile with Fox. Oh, and I don't see how a Krystal/Panther relationship would work either, as Panther's a warrior as well, and I really doubt that he's into long term relationships, given that he seems to be a consumate lady's man.

I don't like how all the characters from Star Fox, especially the femmes, keep being used/displayed as objects of lust; they are (for the most part) warriors, and deserve to be treated as such. I know they happen to be attractive, but in my opinion, it's from their inner strength and personality that makes them so appealing, not their "fun bits." Sigh, I guess this happens to all characters regardless, given enough time, even Jesus Christ (and done by so called christians no less, presumably).

What's the deal with the Star Fox franchise these days anyway? Is it dead, or just in hibernation? I need my fix of high tech anthropomorphic wildlife, and Albedo is in the same state as well, if not, worse.

Does anybody here still play Diablo II, and if so, want to help me mule stuff to my other characters? I've a level 42 Barbarian, loaded with stuff that mostly benefit other classes, as well as more than a few unique items. I already had to vendor my unused set item stuff, and I literally have no more room with him in his inventory and stash.

I was travelling back home with my dad after Yom Kippur services last night (and yes, I DID do the fast, first time for me), and it occured to me, that we must be to God, like ants are to us. Like with men and ants, there can be interaction between God and us, but, like with the ants who cannot understand us in any way of form, neither can we truelly recognize an act of God, or comprehend Him/Her/It. Even an act meant to be benevolent, can be tragic, as the time I gave a Jolly Rancher as food to some ants, only to find it later on covered in dead ants (I felt bad after that). Not only that, but if the common man cannot bother to be kind to ants, why should God bother to be kind to us? Very humbling if you ask me, very humbling indeed.

As I browse Fur Affinity, and take a look at my site here, I have to ask myself, "what went wrong?" I feel that I can no longer affiliate myself with this site without betraying my beloved ideals that I cherish so much, particularly when "artists" post "art" that I feel earns themsleves a blindfold and a cigarette. It's bad enough that people draw images of rape; what truely sickens me is when women take commissions for such images. Then there's the blasphemous misusage of copyrighted characters, the "flood" of poorly drawn obscene images of Disney's Brandy coming to mind, forever scarring my psyche. There are a lot of people who hate the Furry fandom, and I used to wonder why; now, the reasoning is clear, we willingly keep adding fuel to their fires of hatred. Because of the general actions of people on this site, as well as the art that they continue to display, I believe that I have now become a bit of a self-hating Furry. Only time will tell if I will finally loose all interest in the fandom.
