now for the text update

I've been dealing with monoprice's bullshit now for way over what should be rational. After talking to them for 2 weeks saying "SEND ME MY DAMN PEN" and they kept saying they sent it, even though they wouldn't send me a tracking number. So i kept asking, and then one person finally said "Oh, we just sent it out today" (this was last night) so goddamn wish I could sue them.

But until the new pen comes, I've worked out sketching the other commissions so I can get quickly into coloring them once the pen comes in

HOWEVER, until then, I am still in need of some money (This shouldn't be too much of an issue for long, I just got a new job that looks more promising in pay in a few months) and ya know.. support the artist (or maybe it's a DRUG HABIT! :o oOoh... nah, not drugs, I don't do that shiz.) It would be nice to have some tie me over and not go into late fees on my bills.

Okay, I planned on getting right back into digital art. This does not seem to be the case. I'm wasting too much time waiting on now the 4th pen.

Monoprice has sent me 3 faulty pens since the first one broke (fault with design, I twisted it, the twist cap isn't supposed to twist without pulling wires from the battery).

and... I'm feeling very defeated with this. I don't know what to do. they're going to send another, but that's another goddamn week of waiting. I just...can't rely on anything technology or really anything it seems

Oh, and a warning, don't buy anything from Monoprice. Their customer service is shit. They keep trying to charge me for multiple pens and for the returns/shipping of new pens because they're fucking assholes.

I'll be heading home in just little bit to where I can upload the YCH
I was kind of hoping my sister would do the decent thing and pay me back the... rather substantial money she borrowed from me and thought that me helping her with everything would also 'lighten her load of expenses' so she would pay me back... seems not to be the case right now. I'm not sure if she's ever planning to either. Mix that with how aggravating her.... demands on how I finish her basement (such as not staining the wood all at once) considering that I'm doing it for free and I'm the one who collected the wood, she's got some cohones for the arrogance :/ So... I'm not gonna finish, I'm just going to head home.

Good news though is with no more school, no more family stuff that I'm aware of... I've got a much lighter load to keep me from finishing now.

I feel retarded for not submitting it. I got pulled away first for renfest, then to babysit for my sister yet again and then the last few days slowly working on finishing her basement now that her appraiser's come and re...appraised. I swear though, the women in my family make things so inefficient: I'll describe that towards the bottom.

Now, onto family thing. For a while I've been collecting Palletes from around town that are thrown away and some carpet samples from stores that would otherwise throw them away, procuring a lot of wood and carpeting for free FOR MY SISTER. Now that the appraisal is over, I've been trying to help her finish the basement rather than just clean and prepare for all the crap. BUT as it is every female in my family is not good with time. I've measured how much wood we'd need for each of them and since we're only dark staining for two pallet bars worth so it looks like it has a decorative trim, she keeps demanding we only stain between 3 stud's worth at a time which has been so fecking inefficient and I wonder if she's doing it to try getting me to watch her kids more rather than leave :/ I'm fine with helping but why they insist on doing things the worst way possible is migraine inducing. Especially considering I'm doing this for free, been the one collecting her materials. SANDED all the wood and she still won't even listen to any bit of advice on getting it done better or faster x_x Great, I wasn't expecting my first week without an assload of homework from classes to be wasted like this. yay rant over

I really do not want to charge people to see my art (though, yay money). Though, it shouldn't be too hard for some to be able to donate $1 a month right? ^-^ so, instead I'm posting -incentives-.

BECAUSE patreon doesn't allow it, I'll write it here. Patrons will be placed in raffles at every stream to be awarded free art (well, free considering it's a paid raffle). If I get enough Patrons, I will be able to do these more often. I will also do Off stream raffles based on these same methods so those who can't watch raffles can still be able to get a drawing from me.
