Planning a trip to DC. I'll go to the Native American museum and then go to a Mediterranean tapas restaurant that I've been going to for years on my birthday. Should be fun ^^

As you guys may have noticed, I've not been around as much. There are many reasons. One of which is that today, I am going to move into my college dorm.
Yay. (I dunno if that's a real yay or a sarcastic one. The meaning is yet to be found >.<)

I literally live in the next town over from Herndon, where the con is being held. I'm considering going, it sounds like a great opportunity to meet some new friends in person and all that :D
But anyway, is anyone thinking of going/planning to go? I'd be happy to have some furs I know already through FA to hang out with.

Too stressed... I mean, there is a slight possibility that I could do something for it... But my week's been pretty busy so far... And I've got my AP Literature Exam on Wednesday. Yay me x3

I have been experiencing dress rehearsals. And the performance for my school musical is tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday. I am really tired. This is why I've been less active recently. Both on Skype, and on FA. I apologize for that. I'll make another journal once it's over, and I can get back to my normal schedule... I've been at school from 9 til 9:30 since Monday. And no, I don't mean for half an hour...

The way I see it, we all have our own huge boulders... And a chisel. We spend all of our lives chipping away at our boulders... And the result? For some a magnificent piece of art... One that is significant to them, and maybe to many others who they know. For others... They may never finish. Or they may look at what they have done, and think That's not right... How did it end up this way?, and hope to change their mistakes... Or not notice until it is too late.
For many, this boulder seems like a burden, or an insurmountable task. I know some times when I've felt this way about my boulder... But that's why we need to look at things, rather than as one BIG HUGE HEAVY task (the entire boulder, in all of it's menacing hugeness) as many, many, many small tasks, each of which is an achievement to be celebrated all in it's own.
Now what I'm getting at is... Sometimes life seems like it is full of these IMMENSE tasks... Or soooo many little ones that they all pile up and weigh you down.
Something I think that you should do is break these things down. Don't worry about ALL of it, or else you'll get bogged down with too much! Instead, do the little things to make these tasks smaller, and do what you enjoy doing for relief...
I want to make my boulder into a nice sculpture.

Alright folks... You may have seen the signs of this, if you've looked at furs I watch... Or my shout list, and some who have thanked me for watching them...
But I'm into fatfur. It's something I've tried to keep rather private up until this point, because, well... It's not the most conventional thing to be into. But I believe honesty is the best policy, so now you know this. What you choose to do with this knowledge is up to you.

David Bowie died yesterday after battling cancer for 18 months... And he had just turned 69 years old on January 8th. Two days before he died. Absolutely shocking. He will be missed.
He had only just finished his newest (and last) album Blackstar.
