Fursona name - Baruti.

Image type and character - Type C feature, An anthro spotted hyena who has been seen as a feral , ( from the images posted in their gallery.)

Why chosen? - To start with the character is very attractive and their user page has a note saying.. " Newly made account for Baruti the Hyena. Expect more to be posted here soon and plenty of wanton gluttony. " So lets have a look shall we? What I'm seeing is an attractive spotty with a healthy appetite who swallows his partners/victims whole and alive and can do so in an alternate feral form as well, thats a good combination I dare say! There isn't that much artwork in their gallery at the time of this feature and its been done by other artists like Sammy73, leelee, icedfluff, sir prince, kingteddy, drkaizer, tolouse, starquill and warmbodies/gibbons. To date there are no feet first vore images in their gallery, *Sad face* that is why I went with the character's user page instead of any images in the gallery. Baruti has an interesting back story and is not just another flat out fetish character who shows up and thats all. The artwork done by warmbodies/gibbons to me best shows in detail what Baruti looks like, ( although the Sammy 73 ferals are pretty decent as well.)

There's a titillating bit of insight provided by Baruti when Syd_grey asked the following question... " Where does Baruti get all the cash to pay for these exotic meals anyway? "

To which Baruti replied... " He's a noble or diplomat, just someone of importance, wherever he's visiting for whatever reasons is subservient to his nation. He's got the means to pay for things and even though some of the more privy higher ups know about his antics nobody wants to risk strife with his country. So basically he's a foreigner from some place important or in control and loves to abuse the power afforded in the position. "

The character's interesting profile doesn't just end there as he has the bonus of very revealing finery that Baruti described as... " ...the outfit is kind of a mishmash African/Middle Eastern deal. I was just kind of going for something revealing/exotic that still looked like royalty."

I really like the character, a position of power, a kinky lifestyle not known by the public and attractive to top it off. Congrats Baruti for being featured in our little group... sometime or other we're going to have to get you to try some feet first vore!

Image type and characters - Type A willing vore scene with a larger dragon swallowing a smaller one, digital color image.

Why this image was chosen - Diablito has rendered another very fine looking image that grabbed my attention when I came across it. To start with the characters are well drawn, designed and colored in striking warm earthy colors as oranges, greys and browns dominate. Although there is no background detailing other than grey tones and a lighter colored aura around the characters. One of the things that I really like about this image is that it shows willing vore and that the smaller dragon has a history with the larger one. The short story that goes with this image tells a lot about the background behind these characters and the reasons why they are seen in this image. This is not just a grab and gulp situation, the story leads you to believe that these characters may have done this before. The bigger dragon's mouth is very attractive, the tongue, jaw shape, the teeth and even the shape of the nose is very nicely done. The smaller dragon in a state of bliss is caressing and nuzzling the tongue with a very satisfied look on his face, If I were in the prey's position I'm pretty sure my face would look like that as well! To finish off with, the neck bulge is also very nice, makes me want to strap myself to it and feel it bulge against me as the prey goes down inside it. This is a very nice looking effort and I have added it to the group's hall of fame for the reasons stated above.

Welcome to the 7th Shout feature art roundup for the month of October 2013.

October has been a very good month for new artwork this year, we had something to feature every day in the past 4 weeks! There were some new hall of fame inductions to add as well as a written feature or two here in the journal section. Most of you probably know by now that I'm usually only doing new written features on non commissioned works, although I still tend to favorite good commissioned works into the hall of fame section when something really grabs me. With my limited time online and another account to mind. I do the best I can to bring you the latest feet first works by artists around FA so that their works are cataloged here in this one stop shop of feet first shop. Image type and characters - Type A traditional black and white image of a man being eaten by a Minotaur.

Why this image was chosen - It looks like Ilbv is at it again, running into trouble with large hungry moos who would never think at turning down such willing prey. This image was done as part of a trade with Ilbv who is someone that really likes to get into his vore. The thing that I find technically interesting is that you can see the artist's construction lines still present. It always interests me to see how other artists will start a new piece of work, what kind of concept methods were used like we can see here in this picture. However, getting beyond that we see a very nicely sketched and shaded scene where a large minotaur is having a snack date with his human friend. The Minotaur's muscular body is really nice to look at, love the neck bulge too and the way his mouth is working its way up the man's body. The way the man is grabbing onto the taur's ears and horn with his left hand and feeling the lump in his neck with the other is excellent. I love to see an artist make the prey touch, explore and feel the head, face and neck during a swallowing sequence. Having the clothes taken off is another good detail in this image. The way the torn shirt is held in Minotaur's left hand shows that it hasn't been too long since it was removed. The intensity in the taur's eyes has been clearly drawn and I think it makes the image stronger because of the way it turned out. When I looked at this scene for the first time I felt that it should get a written feature in the group, hope you all liked it as much as I do.

Good work on this one Urban Coyote and thanks to Ilbv for being such willing prey in this scene so we could all enjoy it.

Image type and characters - Type B color digital Maw shot of Ovi the dinosaur, without background.

Why this image was chosen - To start with this image is an isolated blown up version of the upper right panel in this mini comic - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11815978/

In this version there is no lynx girl disappearing into that maw but maybe you could look at this as a post vore scene where Ovi is showing you the mouth that she went down into. By the looks of the title of the image I'd say its more of an invitation to the viewer to give it a try themselves. For a vore fan it would be pretty hard not to want to put yourself in there and have some erotic fun on the way down. The style is easily recognizable to anyone who follows Severu's artwork and the mouth to start with is quite amazing. The inside of the mouth is wonderful, from the throat entrance to the saliva to the ridges in the roof of the mouth. The segmented detailing around that lovely looking tongue and the uneven looking teeth add to an already very good piece of artwork. The foreshortening has been done quite convincingly in this artwork. I this could be the look someone is getting if they had successfully escaped and climbed up a tree above Ovi. There they sit looking down at the mouth they will certainly be eaten into should they try to get away. The uniqueness of the character, the point of view shown in this artwork and the detailing give it enough pluses to be added to the group's hall of fame.

A very nice piece of work Severus, congrats on the feature and the hall of fame selection.

Image type and characters - Type A digital color image of a vixen being devoured by a rather big dragon, done in a trade with Diablito.

Why this image was chosen - I really like how this picture looks because of the characters and the use of colors. The background may be simple but its a night scene and the different blue tinting is pretty cool. The hills/mountains in the background remind me of the generic sharp peaks you see in some older cartoons. Both characters look quite good and I get the impression that the vixen seems to be experiencing fear and pleasure at the same time. She rides a huge flexing tongue moving around underneath her body and grabs hold of the lower jaw to stay in place as long as possible. The dragon seems to be okay with this behavior from the prey, so far, ( thats the way it looks to me when I see the expression on the huge predator's face. ) As always I like the way that Sammy does the mouth, the teeth, the drool and the head. The neck is quite attractive as well and the brighter blue light shining on the opposite side is a good finishing detail. I always enjoy seeing Sammy's newest works, some of them, ( like this one) are done in a unique sketchbook style that shows once again that you don't need huge amounts of detail to get a really good piece of artwork.

I like this one enough that its going to be +faved into the group's hall of fame, congrats Sammy, good stuffs!

In the past month summer has ended and the fall season has started. In the last 30 days we have seen plenty of good new artwork from a decent number of artists. Image type and characters - Type A digital black and white mini comic of an anthro cat being swallowed by a very sexy looking dragon. This is flash and the page turners come up on each side of the images as you scroll through them.

Why this image was chosen - Two hall of fame uploads in such a short time, must be the season or something because the quality of new stuff has been getting better as of late. There's a lot to like about this set of 10 images, the artwork is well done, the dragon character (predator) in this sequence is very attractive. In the list below I point out my favorite features in the best frames.

Page 1 - Maw shot, surprised prey.
Page 2 - Closer look at the dragon, like the way the head looks and the armor.
Page 3 - Excellent scene of the dragon with a perturbed look on it's face, the neck is handsome too.
Page 4 - Love the expression on the prey's face as it kokobonks the dragon on the nose and it does nothing!
Page 5 - The frame that told me that this was going to be an awesome comic because it was going to feature feet first vore. Like the panic expression on the face of the prey, the determined look on the face of the pred, (as well as the head armor. )
Page 6 - A very well done side view where the helpless prey knows they're in trouble, tries to fight their fate. Love the look of the neck in this one and the way the armor strap is straining against the growing neck bulge.
Page 7 - Outstanding image with the prey being tossgulped down deeper and we see the neck bulge getting quite big. We see the dragon's head armor strap is even tighter as it stretches enough to admit the prey down the dragon's powerful deep throat. I'd love to strap myself against the front of the dragon's neck so I could feel that lump slide down against me..
Page 8 - The first swallowing scene, dragon's mouth is not quite closed but its eyes are closed in a display of effort to get the prey down whole.
Page 9 - Very nice scene in which the dragon is licking its lips in satisfaction as it feels the prey continuing to gown the throat. Love the way the tongue is making the folds of skin on the corners of the mouth wrinkle... the fading neck bulge is impressive too.
Page 10 - I love the way the dragon's stomach bulges down and presses the armor plating out with it. If I couldn't strap myself against the front of his neck my second choice would be to get pinned under his belly so I could feel it bulge down on top of me, very sexy! The diminutive viewer seen in the grass/foliage has an "oh shit, that isn't good" look on their face as they see the prey is now inside the dragon's stomach.... a very nice looking series.

Congrats to That Kei Guy for the feature/ hall of fame selection, this is an excellent comic and the dragon is very well done.

Selection for Sunday Sept 22nd 2013.

Image type and characters - Type A black and white digital image of a human being swallowed by a lion.

Why this image was chosen - Yay! I finally get some time to do a hall of fame review, ( or for that matter any kind of longer review than the usual shout feature.) This image is another example of an excellent piece of artwork where the line work and minimalist amounts of detail really come together very well. I'm a fan of human vs [insert random feral predator here] vore scenes so its already got a plus going for it because of that. I enjoy how this turned out, the lion's head looks realistic enough and the human's arm sticking out of that very nice looking mouth is really good. I love the way the tongue is hanging way out of the lion's mouth and the way the entrance of the throat looks. It appears to be pretty tight and strong as it ripples down around the human's body, pulling the last of them down into the hot powerful gullet. The little strand of saliva flicked in the air as the lion raises his head up is a neat little detail that I'm glad that jaikr put in. . . it may not be detailed but the characters, the positioning of the hand and the mouth are well done.

This is a very nice piece of work Jaikr, congrats on getting a feature in our group and for having this artwork selected in to the group's hall of fame.

Image type and characters - Type A digital color image of a big dragon eating a smaller dragon like creature.

Why this image was chosen - I don't often get the chance to do these more in depth detailed reviews because of the limited time I have available but this one had to be featured. The artist themselves has said in the image description, " I do see the errors in this picture, but I'm not in the mood to fix them... " There may be errors in the picture but thats not going to discourage me from pointing out why I liked this image. The first reason why I like this is because of the bright colors, in the thumbnail selections for today this one stood out from the crowd. The purples,pinks,yellows and the odd greenish blue colors seen in the prey seem to compliment each other, even the background color appropriately magnifies the overall feeling to the image. The second reason why I like this image is the huge mouth and teeth in the predator, big mouths and thick tongues are always a plus for me. Third reason is the way that the tongue is wrapped over the prey who gives the viewer a last pathetic look before they disappear, (I'll also mention the thick neck and good looking bulge that is seen in it, very nice.)

There may be errors in it but the character design and color make this a good picture to feature in our group, good on you Skull Trumpet.

Image type and characters - Type A digital color image of a unique Toucan Raptor eating some candy type mens.

Why this image was chosen - This image is being featured today because of the bright colors and the unique predator in the scene. Its rare to see good bird vore and when I see it done well then it grabs my attention. In this scene it looks like some of the candy prey are being eaten feet first so as far as I'm concerned it counts for our group! Even though this artwork is classified by the artist as a scribble I really like how it looks, those bright colors and background are very eye catching. I personally like how the hands are drawn, the way the fingers are positioned and the way the right hand is pushing the latest victim into the beak. I like the long beaks when it comes to larger bird species, gives the prey something longer to slide down into before they start going down the throat. The predator just looks like a lot of fun with a touch of "uh oh look at them teef! " to add a certain amount of menace to that otherwise friendlyish looking face. I Like the eye color, the hue of white going down the front of the long neck and the way the shirt looks. Have a look at this other image of the character, I really like the overall design the head is lovely, especially with the long hair hanging down behind the beak.

Why this image was chosen - If digimon had more of this kind of content in it I would have been a lot more interested in watching. However, S2 has provided us with a glimpse of what a macro/micro digimon encounter might be like. The artwork is very well done, the lines are thin and this gives the image a realistic appearance to it, When I look at the background shading the sky blue tones gives the viewer the impression of great size, so high off the ground that the ground can't be seen anymore. Coloring is good, the eye of the Weregarurumon is badass and so is the massive looking toothy mouth that the Renamon finds itself caught in. The artist makes this interesting comment - " giant Weregaruru sucking the living Schnitzels out of some tasty looking foxie. Can only imagine what is going on at this hidden part behind the lips x//x " The drool and the small lower lip bulge at the front end of the mouth are extra details that make this picture better, remembering that the smaller things can be as important as the big things.

This is very nice piece of artwork S2-Freak, it deserves a feature in our group.

Why this image was chosen - This is a hall of fame image right away, its been selected into the group's best of the best and I'll tell you why that is. To start off with hall of fame artwork doesn't always have to have stunning colors or a huge amount of photo-realistic detail. In this image the things that make it work are the well integrated anime/furry design features and cartoony look to the characters. Both predator and prey are enjoying the situation immensely by the looks on their faces and that adds a big plus to this image. I love the "boyish" look that the predator has as well as the one eye open, one eye closed. The pred's mouth is a nice looking shape as it climbs up to engulf the shoulders of the prey. A tiny little detail that adds another plus to this picture... the tiny wrinkles around the right side of the mouth and the larger one under it. Then there's the tongue licking up under the prey's belly and chest that makes this even better yet, Then we get down to the most important detail in the image that really made me like it, that very hot looking lump in the predator's neck... wow! I love long necks and the way that Sparky has drawn this one's neck bulge is very nice, very sexy. If I was there I'd love it if that big kitty would pin me against the front of his neck with a collar so I could feel that lump come down against me. There I would feel the movements of the predator's throat through his neck as it rubbed against me while I rode on the front of that uber hot neck bulge! This image is outstanding in composition and it makes me think to myself that I would gladly trade places with the prey to be eaten by such a cute sexy kitty.

Congrats to Sparky for the D.A.F.F. hall of fame selection and thanks to Jag for posting, sharing it, this is a wonderful piece of work.

Why this image was chosen - This is a good picture to start the new month with as we see a male elf being slowly devoured by a large snake. Normally this snake is a naga but the artist says that for this image they decided to go with a king snake instead of the predator's usual form. The artist also tells us that there is some history between these two as the snake, (Amir) is the elf's master. The first impression I got when seeing the picture was that I like how the elf has been drawn, the odd colored skin tine and the blindfold/bondage situation. It looks as if these two may have been involved in some pre vore kink/bondage play before the snake began to eat his partner. The detailing in this image is basic but it's been done to a level that makes this image as something that stood out from the other uploads of the day. I like how the snake's coiled body fills the bottom of the picture. How the mouth is climbing up around the elf's hips and the way the snake's tail is holding the prey up during the swallowing process. The look on the elf's face gives me the impression that they'd been in this position before, ( that is if some kind of reforming is involved post vore.)

Image type and characters - Type A digital color image of a "cat eat cat" situation.

Why this image was chosen - This is a good example of how simple, well drawn thick line art with strategic coloring and shading can make for a good piece of artwork. There's no background in this piece as it stands on its own merits and the simple explanation for why I chose to feature it is because I like it. I really enjoy seeing how the prey's worried face is framed by the mouth of the predator in this one. How Kaelis's mouth is climbing around and over the Lion's head as he is about to finish off his meal but not before the prey lets out a final pathetic plea. Having one of the bottom teeth poke though the mane is a great little detail, as well as the shape of the pred's upper jaw, the nose and the look on his face.

Why this image was chosen - Outfrickenstanding! I am a big fan of well drawn human vs Minotaur vore and Cancon has delivered in this excellent piece showing Ilbv and his Minotaur friend Garth. I really like the way that the artist has made Garth look, the cartoonish type style and character design works so well in this piece. Not to mention the coloring job, the extra little details and the combination maw shot belching scene. It allows an admirer like me to get a look inside the mouth and at the throat that Ilbv has just gone down. In the scene where you see Ilbv in Garth's mouth the way it has been drawn, the coloring, the expression on Garth's face is adeptly executed. Minotaurs with muscle or in this case more of a muscle gut can look pretty hot and in this case I think this is one of the best pictures of Garth I have ever seen. The placement of the nose ring is of course standard but the multiple ear rings add the right balance of additional detailing to the ears. Let's see, loin cloth, bulge, large feet and thick muscular looking legs, Yep! all there and well presented. I hope Ilbv had some fun on his way down, his playtime with Garth makes me ponder a similar encounter!

Well done to artist Canson *claps* very nice piece of work! This image is being +faved into the group's hall of fame. . . congrats.

Why this image was chosen - Sorry to all DAFF watchers but its been a while since I have had the time to do one of these reviews. That and with AC and the beginning of the summer season there haven't been as many uploads to choose from until more recently. Even though I haven't had much time to do much here I've still been offering up shout features regularly and will continue to do so as much as possible when reviews are far apart.

Lets start off by saying that this artist has another account but I'll stick to the name they chose for this account so that the credit is directed towards it and the image that I linked to. The colors are striking in this image as well as the contrast between the predator and the greens and browns of the forest. Zodo must be a very good ambush pred to be able to snag all 3 of these guys at once when his color is so different that the surroundings. In this scene we see that there are two victims being held, trapped while the third is being eaten. Zodo is definitely big enough to hold them all in but will be quite bulgey and chubby once he's finished getting them down. The way that the current victim is hanging out of Zodo's mouth looks very appealing, the eyes closed look on the pred's face tells me that they have things under control, time to enjoy! I love the way that Zodo's tongue has been drawn, note the wrinkle bulge on the side of the prey's body just above it, The artist is showing us that there is some weight to the prey's body as it's going over the tongue. This bulge wrinkle may look like a small detail but it makes the picture more complete, more realistic.

Good work on this picture Zodo, well worth the time to look at and review.

Why the images were chosen - To start with this mini comic was the result of some clever polling done by Tibex who started off with. . .

Page 1 description - Tibex posted a preliminary image where both characters were clearly shown, the viewers then had a choice between either Garron or Shade. The one who ended up getting the most votes would eat the loser. The results were 7 to 3 in favor of Shade.

Page 2 description - Since it was Shade who won the poll it was Garron who lost the vorenament and is seen being eaten in this 9 panel comic. It starts off with 3 close up images of Garron's face as he's being slurped into Shade's mouth. In the 3 middle panels we get to see Garron going down into Shade as he's being eaten. The artwork is simple, colored nicely with a minimalist background and some pretty decent looking neck bulges. In Panel 5 Shade seems to be having some trouble getting Garron down so he lifts his head up to swallow his waist and in Panel 6 he looks more relaxed. The bottom 3 panels show the final gulps as Shade finishes off the losing combatant in this contest. Shade's tongue curling up over the front of Garron's muzzle is a good detail that Tibex added in this panel. After that we come to panel 9 where Shade is seen finishing off his opponent with a final big gulp that sends Garron down his throat to lounge in his greedy guts.

Why this image was chosen - That Kei Guy has come up with another excellent mini comic where Corriezodri's character Cylas is the prey who has an interrupted trip down inside an attractive looking long neck. Just like other comics done by T.K.G. the artwork is very minimalist, simple and yet very effective at telling the story. The predator's expression in the middle panels is awesome, so are the neck bulges in each frame during the big swallow. The unique part of the comic however is the collar which causes the pred some trouble when the prey gets stuck half way down his throat. The prey gets stuck, the pred has a WTF? moment before he remembers that he's wearing a tight collar. He then has to swallow very hard to get the prey down through it and I'm thinking they'll remember to loosen the collar next time they have a big snack like this.

The images makes me think of another possibility, if I were that pred I might find a micro to put inside the collar against the front of the neck. That way when the big finishing gulp comes the micro that I put in the collar would get squeezed against the front of the neck when the bulge comes down to them. For making me think of that neck bulge crush play situation and for doing such a good comic I'm putting this one in the hall of fame.

Why this image was chosen - Things have been a bit slower around here as of late with lulls in new uploads lasting up to several days sometime. This image was posted yesterday but I didn't have the time to do a feature so I've saved it for today. I liked this picture because it was simple with no background and the line art is pleasing. I like the way that the pred's mouth is slowly climbing over the prey's head as the last of it is being swallowed down. There's also the huge bulgy neck thats stretched out quite a lot as it admits the dragon down into the body below. The raised wrinkly shirt showing some belly is a good addition to this image and I also enjoy the look on the prey's face. This is a pretty good piece of work and just another example of why you don't always need detail and coloring to make up a good image.

Why this image was chosen - One of the first things that made me choose this image was the style, I really like how it looks. The characters are simple but well drawn, good designing and layout in this scene. I like the way that the prey is laying on the fox's tongue as if she's rubbing back and forth over top of it or riding it somehow. I can picture the fox as he speaks with the tiny wolf on his tongue, ( making him sound like he's got a tongue depressor that slightly slurs his speech. ) Jessiewolfiegoddess looks like she's having a good enough time in her rather "stimulating" position, (another good detail is that the scarf around the fox's neck is low enough so that you can see a small lump there.)

Why this image was chosen - The color and detailing in this picture is astounding, quite realistic looking and definitely deserves to be featured. To start with I'm very impressed with the way the shading and highlighting has been done. The further back into the mouth you look the darker it gets and the folds of flesh around the corners of the mouth are amazing. I like the way that Sprout has been depicted in this image, poking around on the back of the tongue while pushing his head into the side of the mouth interior.

The tongue is another very well done part of this image, not just because of the drool but because of the shaping and highlighting. The colors themselves are excellent but look at the way the light blue and white shines have been added, its almost like a photograph. The teeth are very good, so is the scale highlighting in the upper right of the image, the whole effort in this picture is worth a good look! Sprout has done some pretty good stuff in their gallery before this but here we have something that in my opinion is one of the best efforts put together in their gallery.

I'm adding this image to the hall of fame for its detailing,color and realism... very nicely done Sprout.
