Commissions: They're Back!
Posted 9 years agoWhoof, 2016 certainly has been a year, hasn't it? If anyone's wondering why I basically submitted almost nothing for about three months, it would almost be easier to list off what HASN'T happened to me at this point! But between a couple of major tragedies and a lot, and boy do I ever mean A LOT of minor ones, things are finally back on track for opening the Art Gates again! Prices Below:

Quick Commission Opening!
Posted 9 years agoWell, I've had a couple of commissions wrap up early and a couple outgoing ones that I'm still waiting to hear back on, so I've got a couple slots free a bit earlier than expected! If you're looking to get something doodled, consider throwing money at a sheep! I promise I won't eat it. I might spend it on food, however.

Where I'm At!
Posted 9 years agoWell, right here, for starters! I'm not going anywhere and will continue to update FA at my usual slipshod pace of nothing for weeks and then a dozen pictures in a single day, but now I'll also be doing that over on the Furry Network!
That's over here: https://beta.furrynetwork.com/daikanu
I've also got a hysterically neglected Weasyl account: https://www.weasyl.com/~daikanu
Hopefully I'll see you there once I get set up, I'm in the process of shuffling everything over to my viewable gallery! ^_^

Commissions: FINALLY open again!
Posted 9 years agoWell, THAT was an ordeal. Death! Bronchitis! Taxes! Injury! It seems like damn near everything in the universe that COULD conspire against me did over March and most of April, but thanks to some genuinely amazing friends and a LOT of hard work, I think the worst is finally over and we're back to taking commissions! Looking for weird furry kink-smut? I'm your sheep! Looking for regular non-kink stuff? I'm still a fairly competent ovid for that, too! Looking for weird non-kinky stuff? That's weird, but okay, I'm down for that, too! Prices Below:

Delays And Apologies Therein!
Posted 9 years agoHoo lordy, am I ever disappointed in March. After losing a long-time friend to cancer and being benched for half a week out of grief, it was apparently time for my yearly Late Winter Complete Physical Breakdown; the nastiest cold I've ever had put me down for the rest of said week and then some -- and here we are, nearly two weeks behind on work!
First of all, I'd like to both give thanks and apologize for the patience from my pending commissioners; I appreciate the understanding, but it does bother me greatly to have to put work off. I'm told a few weeks isn't a long time to wait in this fandom for a commission, but I hold myself to a higher standard than that, so again, thank you for being patient with me! I'll try to make it worth your time!
In the meantime, I'll be putting a lock on new commission applications so I can catch up; for now, the people who already got in line take precedent! For anyone looking to get a commission, I expect to reopen in about two weeks, after I've cleared the backlog!

Sketch 2x: $30 (No Discount)
Inks 2x: $65 ($5 discount on the second character
Flats 2x: $80 ($10 discount on the second character)

Hit me up, we'll draw some stuff!
While I'm at it, I've been toying around with the idea of doing a paid inflation or WG picture set of a few popular characters from various forms of media; I'd love to hear some thoughts on it, as well as any suggestions for who to feature in it!

Big Changes 3-2: No Change!
Posted 10 years agoPART 1: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16906367/
PART 2: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17006777/
Well, I'm afraid this one's stalled out; no donations have come in for Part 2, which makes it rather hard to do a follow-up picture! At this rate, I'll likely be closing the raffle on this one at the end of the week; if anyone would still care to throw their hat into the ring to make a (relatively, at this point) skinny cow bigger and get a chance at appearing in the next set, there's still a window there.
Win or lose, I still had fun with it, and in the event that we have to close up shop early on this one, I'll be working closely with the winner,
danofhats, to make sure he gets everything he's entitled to!

Big Changes 3-1: Day 1!
Posted 10 years agoAnd we're off, opening up with a big donation from my esteemed
bossgoji, who is the second-biggest fan of wrestling that I know! Fair Warning: She likes big breasts and lots of milk.
The Stats:
1) Breasts ($50)
2) General Growth ($50)
3)
Big Change: Bovine Growth Hormone (Lactation)
As mentioned prior, LOTS of stuff going on upstairs; we're only one picture in and we've already got a cow who's gonna slosh when she walks! Needless to say, I approve. There's still plenty of time to size her up, though!
We'll be moving on to Part 2 in three days; get your tips in now for a chance to be the next Big Changes contestant!

Big Changes 3 is officially underway!
Posted 10 years agoPART 1: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16895482/
And once again, it's about time for more Sizey Shennanigans; this time the theme is wrestling, courtesy of
danofhats! Not sure what this whole Big Changes thing is all about? Well, for starters, it's one of those Tip Jar things where the more folks donate, the bigger the subject gets, but we do things a little different 'round these parts! How, you may ask? Well, at this point wholly theoretical viewer, I'm glad you asked! Here's the breakdown:
/// The Subject ///
"Sweet" Honey Akemi has always wanted to be a Pro Wrestling star. She's put in the training, watched all the tapes, followed every washed-up ex-pro's Twitter account, but something's missing -- despite the hard work and practice, the results just aren't there. She needs a new training regimine, a more suitable weight class, and a few changes here and there to really hit the big time! At this point, she'll try anything!
/// The Tip Jar ///
This one's fairly simple. For every dollar donated, Honey's weight will increase by a pound, in a location determined by the person who donated; this generally means a location on her body, as opposed to, like, gaining 20 pounds while touring in the Balkans. There's a bit more to this one, though; there are tiers of donation available that net you bigger rewards, like raffle entries to be the person starring in the next set, or a guaranteed picture of your character in a similar situation as our heroine! The breakdown is thus:
$1 = 1 pound to the location of your choosing!
$5 = 5 pounds to the locations of your choosing, and an entry into the Big Changes raffle!
$10 = 10 pounds to the locations of your choosing, an entry into the Big Changes raffle, and your choice of a Small Change from the provided list!
$20 = 20 pounds to the locations of your choosing, four changes into the Big Changes raffle, and your choice of a Big Change from the provided list!
$100 or more = 100 pounds to the locations of your choosing, a whopping 20 entries into the Big Changes raffle, a Big Change from the list, a Small Change from the list, and a full-color picture of your character in the size and shape of the current raffle winner!
To donate, just send a PM with your donation tier, requested changes, suggestions and, if you meet the $100 tier, a ref or description of the character you'd like me to draw! Donations themselves go to daikanu[at]gmail.com through PayPal!
/// The Raffle ///
Here's the fun one. Any donation of $5 or more gets you an entry into the Big Changes raffle; the winner will get to decide on the subject, subject matter, and Big Change options for the next Big Changes set! This generally means 4-5 full-color pictures of your character getting big in a manner of your choosing!
Don't have a character or want to create a new one? I'll happily help design one with you! We'll work together to feel out every aspect of the set until it's good to go!
/// The $100 Tier ///
This one's a bit simpler -- donate $100 and in addition to all the other fun stuff noted in the Tip Jar tier list, you'll also get a guaranteed full-color picture of your character decked out in full wrestling regalia, at any size, any shape, any additional kinks or interests you'd like to include! Generally, this works just like a regular commission; we hash out the design, I provide a sketch baseline to show the pose and body type off, the details happen, then inks, colors and shading happen!
/// I Think That's Everything ///
So let's get started and make Honey the biggest thing to hit the squared circle since Andre the Giant!

Big Changes 3: Size Matters (Tip Jar/Raffle/WG/Free Vote!)
Posted 10 years agoSo this one's gonna be a little different. For those unfamiliar with the Big Changes thing I run every couple months or so, here's a little rundown! The basic gist is that it's one of those Donate Money = Subject Gets Bigger/Rounder/Fatter sorta situations, but there's a couple of twists that make it a little more exciting. First off is the titular Big Changes; these are adjustments made by folks who donate at the $20 level or above that dramatically alter the character! These can be simple things like hair and eye color, or major things like drastic body type alterations, major outfit changes, or the like!
The second thing is that it's also a raffle; every donation in $5 increments gets you an entry into the next Big Changes raffle, which will give you the chance to toss your own character into one of these should you win! Not comfortable with that? We'll get together and make a new one! Likewise, any donation over $100 gets you 100 bucks of growth on the subject, a Big Change to play with, 20 entries into the raffle, AND a full-color picture of your character in the size, shape, and circumstances of the character involved in this particular set!
Finally, the one that's new to this particular run: we're holding a free vote! The winner of this raffle,
danofhats, gave me the themes of Weight Gain and Wrestling, and thought it would be a great idea to leave EVERYTHING else up to the audience -- gender, species, starting size and shape, fighting gimmick, alignment -- and this one's open to everybody whether you feel comfortable paying in or not!
Voting happens here: http://goo.gl/forms/Ul15ih4bzr
We'll be starting a week from now, so let's get voting! To condense all the information above down into an easy-to-digest form:

Grim Trials (Goofy Youtube Vidcon Stuff I'm Involved With!)
Posted 10 years agoSo it occurs to me only recently that I've been working on a little project with my dearest
bossgoji and good friend
un for about a year now; I can only assume it's because I successfully managed to drink away the memories of playing some of the worst video games we can possibly dredge up and admitting this is Step 1 of the court-mandated 12 Step Program to address my alcoholism! It's called Grim Trials, and you can find all the episodes here: ( https://www.youtube.com/user/bossgoji ) dutifully edited and collated by our good friend Alicia! I show up somewhere around Episode 14, where we did X-Blades. Spoiler Warning: we wish we hadn't done X-Blades.
Basically the general gist of it all is that we take suggestions from our audience, generally ranging from terrible to awful (the games, not the audience, the audience is lovely) and play as much as we can physically take, with a minimum timer of 15 minutes, otherwise we would have just turned the NES Dragon's Lair game off as soon as the title screen came up.
We're always taking suggestions for new games; send anything that strikes you as bad enough over to gojipain@gmail.com! Please make sure they're not actually decent, or I'll wind up playing them for way too long and practically turn it into a Let's Play, like I did with Wolfchild. It's basically like a slightly worse Strider game, that's still good enough to clear my quality bar!

Not Going Anywhere, But--
Posted 10 years agoI DO think this whole IMVU buyout is being horribly overstated over what is a very standard series of EULA notes for an image repository, but I'm also not above hedging my bets if FA goes all Corporate Evil on us; I also have a Weasyl gallery!
https://www.weasyl.com/profile/daikanu
It's not fully complete yet, but will be over time; it even has a couple of exclusives, so it's worth checking out even if you're not fleeing FA!

Big Changes: We Have A Winner!
Posted 10 years agoIt's getting to be about time for the Big Changes raffle again, and as such, it's also time to actually declare a winner for the last one! With lot #11, we have
dan_of_hats! I think it's safe to say that we can expect something wrasslin'-themed and with substantial weight gain!
We'll be getting underway next month; in the meantime, I'm always looking for suggestions, comments and ideas about the Big Changes thing as a whole! Hit me up, I don't bite! Even if I did, sheep have crappy little flat teeth that can't really do any damage.
Thanks again to all of the participants of the raffle; if you didn't win this time, don't despair! Your lots are still valid and will be seeded into the next one!

We're Back! (Commissions Open!)
Posted 10 years agoSo we've finally resolved that pesky tablet nightmare; a good friend loaned me something I can work on, and my charger for my usual model should arrive tomorrow! My backlog's been severely cut down (barring an in-progress one for
cirethered and
whitechimera, as well as the Big Changes rewards) and as such it's time to open up the next wave!
