My Mom died yesterday morning, she'd been really sick and had gradually been getting worse and worse over the past few days
I'll be okay, I have my brothers and other family and I've got good friends like you all. I'll won't be on line much though.

My mother went to the hospital last Wednesday night to be treated for a bed sore on her behind. She's doing okay but things have been hectic with me my brothers and other family members going back and forth to check on her and stay with her. That's the main reason why I haven't been uploading any new art or rping on discord. I'll keep you all updated on how things progress.

I probably won't do much today, me and my brother went to the aquarium in New Orleans last Saturday and I just went eat out with a friend. One thing I definitely gonna do is clean up my work area and catch up on my art.

First off thanks for ya'll thoughts and prayers concerning Hurricane Barry. It didn't do much damage where I live but a few places in the more southern part of our state got hit pretty hard.
Second, I now have a twitter account-> www.twitter.com/PuffySmith There isn't much on it at the moment and they'll likely won't be much beyond retweets and my photos and art but if you have a twitter you can give me a follow if you feel like it.

If you've been following the weather you know that tropical storm Barry is fixing to serve up some soggy trouble for New Orleans. The part of Louisiana where I live is also expected to get a great amount of rain and given that the storm is moving at a snail's pace that means lot of the area it effects will get some really nasty flooding.
We haven't decided on any evacuation plans yet(there's no evacuation order for my area) so for now my online presence isn't effected too much. If I don't come on tomorrow it'll either be because we had to leave or the power got knocked out. That aside, me and my family should be okay.

Back to Basics

As the title implies, I'm gonna get back into my drawing and stuff. I've been busy with irl things and haven't had much inspiration to draw stuff either. Among things that I'm working is fanart for the new 101 Dalmatian Street cartoon(it's pretty good), My Little Pony season 9(The last season, all good things must come to an end), and new designs and bios for my OCs. I also have some photos I'd like to upload here(mostly of my cats and other animals).

Posted 7 years ago I got a Nintendo switch and Super Smash Bros Ultimate today!!
I was surprised by how little space the switch console takes up and the fact that the games are on a usb card but that's small potatoes compared to my excitement.

First off I'll like to think everyone for the birthday. It really means alot, really you all are awesome!
Second. I'm gonna get back into drawing dogs and other stuff. Just doodling ponies gets stale after a while especially when you run out of ideas and whatnot. Speaking of ponies...
I've been thinking of doing my own MLP AU headcanon for a good while but never put down anything concrete till now. I have some oc's that just need a backstory and then I can figure out where my AU diverges from the show canon.

Soggy Birthday
Posted 9 years agoIt would be an understatement to say this hasn't been a good year for me, that said I have been looking forward to my birthday.
Alas, it looks like this birthday is gonna be a soggy one on account of my state's nemesis, rain.
Still, I still have my family, my friends and my health. That's what counts in the end

My Dad died early this morning. He'd been sick for a week so we'd put him in the hospital last Friday and yesterday he took a sudden turn for the worst. He had a serious infection in his body that the doctors couldn't do anything about no matter how hard they tried...
I'll probably be offline for a few days. Right now I just don't feel like doing anything except curling up into a ball and crying.
