So yeah, I am bored so just sitting here with a sketchbook breaking in a new mechanical pencil...along with some other new supplies. Its been a miserable day But thankfully I only have to deal with 1 more week of the managers overbearing workloads, and fucked up logic. How fucked up? well.
- I am chastized and told not to bother when I tell the customers that the store has a "No food or drink policy" In the store, among the other company policies, which prevent people from wandering the aisles with open food or drinks (which often get left on the shelves, the aisles being turned into personal trash bins)
- Attempting to help a customer find what they are looking for is now discouraged as the management has now redefined "Customer Service" as "Socializing". So if you need help finding something or asking if the store carries a particular item in stock. Sorry I cant help you, Boss told me I am being paid to Work, Not to socialize with the customer.
- I am expected to do an 8+ hour job in a 5 hour shift....every day.
-qny grievances are brushed off and dismissed.
- they can work me to the bone and overload me with tasks, but when they grace me with a 15 minute break, I catch hell if I am even 1 minute late (I was a little over a minute late because I had to go from the food court to the other end of the mall trying NOT to scald myself with a cup of HOT COFFEE in transit, trying to keep it from spilling all over my hands..and the rest of me.
So yeah, just a few of the reasons I am actually glad I am leaving. I only have a week left, and I think because I am leaving they are giving me hell because I dare stand up for myself and tell them I am not going to be a packmule they can load up and kick around. I may be an employee, but I can only take so much abuse before I snap back, and right now its taking all my energy just to tell the arrogant bitch of a manager (or assistant manager) to take her insanely long list of tasks for ME (she doesnt pile on this many tasks to anyone else) and shove it up that fat ass of hers.

In other news. Microsoft is being stupid again, On top of everything else wrong with the Xbox one, apparently Microsoft has confirmed to IGN that the $500 brick of a console? Well guess what. It WILL NOT INCLUDE A HEADSET. Headsets will be required to purchase SEPERATELY. Yep so onto of the $500 pricetag, you will have to shell out another $30-$50 (rough estimate) for a headset you can actually use. The way I see it, they are STILL hung up on the Kinect, so THATS why they will not include a headset. They want to FORCE you to have no other choice but to use voice commands, they want to force you to use the kinect microphone when talking to your friends list.

Microsoft WILL NOT include in any form. And at $100 less. So yeah, more reason to move from xbox to sony, for me anyways.

I am sorry if it sounds like drama but I am fed up.

I liked streaming, It was enjoyable. At least when I first started. But sinse then, all its done has made me realize how insignifigant I am.
I dont know if its just because my art isnt good enough? because I cant draw porn that well.

I mean I notice a trend easy on FA, If your streaming...98% of FA isnt interested in the stream unless there is a 90% chance they can get free art out of it.
No I am not painting all witht he same brush. I know there are a few supporters, who say they come in to watch. But the rest of FA has left me feeling like my art isnt even worth streaming.
So they get thier wish.
I mean when I try and stream, even IF I try and give a piece or two, The stream is deader than a graveyard.
Right now, I am just trying not to break down. I already had confidence issues.

The other half is it seems when I try and stream, everything fucks up on me. So I cant win.

Yeah ok, I am sure people are gonna start coming after me saying I am not giving it a chance. Had people telling me to "wait till E3" and so on. But the thing is, as much as I have tried...I cant. I just...Cant! I dont care at this point what sort of games Microsoft releases at e3, the out an out slap in the face that was the xbox one reveal was more than enough to secure my decision
-No backwards compatibility (this includes not only games BUT headsets and peripherals as well)
the pre-owned fee (Microsoft has said it will likely be the origional retail cost of the game)
-the creep-factor always watching/listening kinect 2.O...
Region locked console...
-Indie game developers banned from self publishing (meaning they have to go through a contract with MS where they proceed to get screwed over)

Those and others are the reason why I, despite having been a loyal xbox supporter (and wouldnt even think of looking at sony) see this as so money hungry and disasterous of an idea (seriously, find the one who thought all these points would be LOVED by gamers....and Punch them in the face, please....Or not...)

YES I am abandoning Microsoft and Xbox like the sinking ship it is. On the release even thier stock started sinking. So I will be trading in my xbox (limited edition Halo 4 console), all my games. I will be closing my xbox account. And I will be moving on to another console. and I will NEVER touch another xbox again. Or never waste my money on one anyways.

Sony has pretty much stated that they will NOT push any form of DRM on the PS4, they will leave it up to the developers but they encourage No DRM. So it looks like either I will be focussing on My Wii U, My 3DS, and trading in my Xbox and games for a PS4 (Maybe even PS3 If I get that impatient.) But Microsoft has shown thier true distain for gamers and so now that they are partnered with NFL and ESPN they have no need for us. So I will be taking my money to Sony and Nintendo. Or maybe try one of the new consoles coming out (Shield, Piston, Ouya)

But out of curiousity, Am I the only one doing this? or has anyone else felt betrayed and disgusted by what Microsoft is doing, the route they are going in, that they see no need to wait till E3 to leave Xbox on the curb the way they did to Gamers who supported them?

I want to try experimenting with Doing tarot cards via Notes instead of always streaming. SO I want to get practice and see Just how Accurate this proccess could be.
So who would be willing to give it a shot. How this would work is simple..REAL SIMPLE
You send me a Note with your sign (Cancer, Pisces, Saggitarius, etc) And a Question or problem you would like to be looked into. Now You dont Have to really go into detail. Infact it will help me gauge what I can do with minimum info. It will be harder for me to gauge what the cards are saying, But it will definately help. I will lay out my cards when i get a chance, and send a note back with my interpertations. This is a new thing for me so I am not sure on the accuracy,
Therefore these readings will be FREE, However if you are happy with the accuracy and the reading is helpful you are more than welcome to leave me a tip. Keeo in mind this is entirely OPTIONAL.

Well I have looked and looked at ALL the information available, and I have pretty much seen all I need to see. I watched the reveal for the Xbox One (or its better name, the Failbox 2, its also being called the "Bro Box") and what I got from microsoft's "reveal" was they revealed thier true feelings.

It was nothing more than a BIG Fat Juicy "FUCK YOU" To gamers. Thier glorified VCR/Cablebox is gonna be thier own downfall. and all you have to do is look at all the announcements. of what you WONT be able to do

- Xbox one will ALWAYS be online. Or rather it will have to connect to the internet once every 24 hours and every time you turn it on.
-Kinect 2.0 will Be Mandatory and will ALWAYS be watching & Listening (even when the console is off)
-Indie game developers are banned from self Publishing (Meaning they have to sign a deal with Microsoft where they get shafted)
-Pre-owned games will be hidden behind a paywall (Bought a game from gamestop? good for you, But if you want to play it, you have to pay a second fee for it to work on your console. Perhaps even MORE than the game was origionally worth
-NOT backwards compatible: This means NO Xbox/Xbox 360 games on the box one.
-NOT Backwards compatible with Periferals!!! Got that $500 pro gaming headset? Way to go! Shame though you WONT be able to use it on the xbox one, You will have to go buy one of thier Official Headsets from thier own parntners/company.
Also a couple of more recent ones that have been confirmed
- Your gamerscore/Profile/etc Will transfer over, Your DIGITAL CONTENT WILL NOT. This includes things such as Content purchased from XBLA, Game DLC, avatar items, and the like. You will have to purchase them all over again.
and the most irritating confirmation i have heard
-MICROSOFT HAS CONFIRMED: XBOX ONE will be REGION LOCKED! Yeah I really dont think I need to explain what that means do I?

And so with all this in mind, I dont even need to worry about E3 and what they have to say then, Because they have already LOST ME as a customer.
When The PS4 comes out, I will be scrapping my xbox or trading it in. I will be closing my xbox live account, and likely moving over to PS4, or maybe give one of the new emerging consoles (Steambox/piston, Ouya, NVIDIA Shield) a whirl. Regardless, I am handing in my xbox membership card and telling microslop where they can stick thier damn xbox one....er...sorry, Thier TV and Sports "Bro Box!"

Yeeeehaw! Yeah I sprung for a new printer the other day, and today I found a good solid Laminator on sale for $35 which means that NOW I can finally do badges. A printer means I can do digital printouts, But now I can also do traditional Laminated badges.

So the only question is, whats a fair price to charge? And Would anyone actually be interested in one?
All of this is to prepare for Fur-Eh Next year. I want to help -earn- my fursuit, so I want to significantly increase the number of commissions I can do, what I can offer, etc. I got a new sketchbook so tempted to go on a traditional binge. (Maybe offer discounts on Traditional Commissions.

Open to Ideas here, But I feel like I know what to do after seeing the other dealers at the con. I feel like "ahh ok, so thats what a proper table should look like". After all this was my first convention that I just came out of, so I learned ALOT over that wonderful weekend.

Walking away from Fur-Eh 2013 (and already drooling over Fur-eh 2014) I feel...stronger...more assured. As an artist, As a Furry, as...who I am. before this I had never interacted with other furries. I had never sat down with other ones and just had a good time mostly because I didnt know where to go. But coming away fromt his its like that little assurance that I am welcomed and accepted. And that in turn will help me get over perhaps some insecurities with my art. Hey guys, Sorry for being away so much, been busy having a blast with Defiance. Thats why I have been so distracted. I will be working on commissions and such, but there is just so much to do on Defiance :D Co-op, Contracts, PvP, Matchmaking, Events, Quests, Weapon modding, Time Trials....and thats even before the show starts on the 15th.
