II: VancouFur 2013 Dance Competition
VancouFur is having it's first dance competition this year to my knowledge and it's been brought to my attention that not a lot of people know about it yet! So any VF attendees, just a heads up!
It's going to be on Saturday, starting at 2 in they're main Theater A (stage) room. Best of luck to all the competitors! And to those spectating, videos would be much appreciated as we all want to see our fellow furs doing their thing out on the stage.
Since there's no previous dance comp videos, here's their last years promo vid! III: Furnal Equinox 2013 Dance Competition
FE will also be having it's first dance competition which will be hosted by
So any attendees should definitely check this out as it's sure to be a great event. Be sure to take/post videos!!!

Best of luck to all competitors and to all spectators please document and share the event!
Ronnie, leader of Last-Fur-One Crew and the dancer who's running the Dance Competition of FE. IV: Furry Weekend Atlanta 2013
**** This one seems like it's going to be one of the biggest dance cons yet! Lots of events are going to be happening!
Of course there's going to be the dance competition as there always is. And I hope you all are as excited for this one as I am. FWA's dance comp is a very big deal to my knowledge and continues to be one of the best events at the con.
Here are the official rules for this competition: http://www.furryweekend.com/wp-cont.....Comp_Rules.pdf
Dance Competition Try-Outs are Friday 12:30 pm to 2:00 in the Panels III room AND Saturday 3:00 pm - 4:30 in the Panels II room.
Dance Competition Finals are Saturday 9pm - 11:00 in the Main Events Room.
DUE TO A SCHEDULE CONFLICT - ANY FLOOR WARS COMPETITORS ARE RECOMMENDED
TO TRY OUT ON FRIDAY BECAUSE THE SATURDAY TRY OUTS RUN IN WITH FLOOR WARS.
****
last-fur-one crew will also be hosting a small workshop panel for those interested in that. Teachers are not confirmed yet as I have yet to ask all the members going. But I will for sure be there to oversee and help teach a specific style of dance. These are usually pretty helpful to all levels of dancers so don't be shy and come drop in to learn something as well as have a good time. This panel will be held Friday 6:30 pm to 8:30 in the Panels III room. **** The Official DancerFurs Cypher will be happening Sunday 12 - 3 pm. Location TBD, keep up to date with the twitter feed while at the con. As announcements and details, especially last minute ones will be posted through out the entire con about this event and all dance involved events. There will likely be many other cyphers besides this one, but this is currently the only one with a planned specific time.
Last years first place competitor
at the FWA 2012 Dance Competition. V: Last-Fur-One Presents: Floor Wars @FWA2013
~~~ Sign-Ups are still OPEN~~~
THIS PANEL WILL BE HELD SATURDAY 4:30pm - 6:30 in the MAIN EVENTS ROOM
Due to a schedule conflict it's highly recommended any competitors and spectators that
would like to enter the dance competition, do the Friday auditions. The Saturday auditions
end at 4:30 pm as well, and as such overlap with this event. Due to time constraints for the panel, we sadly will only have a NON-SUIT/OUT-OF-SUIT category of competition. It is a big bummer, but we're doing what we can with the time we were given. And this does not by any means, mean that the competition will turn out boring or uneventful. Anthrocon's Floor Wars was a great success as was MFF's. So we're hoping to finish the trifector here with FWA.
If you're interested in signing up, please send an e-mail to Dancerfurs[at]gmail.com titled "Floor Wars Application" and fill out/include the following form:
Name (what you want to be announced as):
Pronunciation of above name:
A Favorite track of yours to dance to:
Cell phone number:
Questions/Inquiries:
You will receive an e-mail confirmation ASAP from me along with answers to any questions or inquiries you include.
PLEASE NOTE, a lot of people have asked for a playlist of possible songs that will be in Floor Wars. I have provided a sample list below of some songs to give you an idea of what to get ready for (this however does not mean these will be the only genre of music played; so be prepared for anything):
Keep On Dancing - Legend Da BeatSlaya
Drop It Low - Ester Dean
Who's That Chick - Rhianna and David Guetta
Red Alert - Basement Jaxx
Let Go - Kezwik
Me Against The Music - Britney Spears and Madonna
Ants - edIT
=====CONTESTANTS: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES & DETAILS OF FLOOR WARS BELOW=====All of these rules apply to ALL CONTESTANTS:
Slots
There will be 16 competitors. In the event that the slots are all filled up. We will open a waiting list/fill in list for those that did not apply in time. Please only apply if you are for sure going to the convention.
Attendance
We will have a ROLL CALL for all contestants, 15 minutes BEFORE THE PANEL STARTS. This is to ensure that we have even numbers for our brackets and to avoid confusion. If you are not there in time, we will replace your spot with someone who is on the waiting list/willing to battle.
Battle Etiquette
We had a few issues at Floor Wars at AC 2012 that were brought up by some dancers that we will be making rules. We WILL enforce these rules during this event. Breaking these rules WILL result in disqualification.
*LET YOUR OPPONENT FINISH* No running out in the middle of your opponent's set until they indicate they are done, or they are counted out by the MC.
*NO EXCESSIVE/EXTREMELY VULGAR INSULTS* We want to keep this a PG-13 maximum rated competition. Not only do the judges NOT like it, your fellow furries won't either.
We will make these rules clear at the beginning of the competition as well to make sure that you all remember. There are NO exceptions to these rules.
VI: Furry Connection North 2013
**** FCN is right around the corner and
will be hosting yet another dance competition there. After last years success they'll be continuing there dance competition this year. If you'd like to take a look at all the official rules and information. You can find that HERE or if you have anything specific that isn't covered, send your question right on over to Huscoon! VII: Help Each Other Out
**** I'm always willing to do these sections for artists that need a bit of extra help getting funding to make cons! So if you know anyone that's in need right now for an upcoming con, just let me know and I'll throw them up here as well.
Dance Videos of the Week
Posted 12 years agoKeeping it short and simple. I'd also like to not that from now on when I post some videos, a few of them may not be labeled a definite style because of the integrations of different dance styles. These days, a lot of the big name dancers have mixed many different elements to create something new.
Additionally, I, Blue have created a more formal dancerfur account known as
skout. So just saying, it's still me. Without further a due, your dance videos of the week:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PyM.....F&index=62 - Pacman's tutting video. Bumbox. Amazing precision and technique, very artistic, and a fun story.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IB_G.....FABD2D5C2B070F - Bboy. This man has taken the power moves to a whole new level and created his own using the existing ones as a base. Utilizes creativity and style to make something unique.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9Qj.....FABD2D5C2B070F -Brian Puspos' new choreography. See his movements to the nuances of the music, listen closely and pay attention, because he hits and illustrates so many in his movements.
Everybody! Take care!
Posted 13 years agoHey guys
here again and I got a lot for you FWA goers this time so be sure to pay close attention if you are!
I: DancerFurs Icon Competition
***Attention Artists: Would you like your art to be hosted on our page? enter this icon contest to have the chance for your self made icon to be used for a period of time here on FA and on our Twitter page!
The way this works is pretty simple and there are only a couple of "rules" that you should pay attention to and follow.
1 --- Starting today, you may send us your own entry in a note titled "Entry for the Icon Contest".
Just have it include a full size and a 100x100 size of the piece.
2 --- You ARE allowed (of course) to upload it to your own page for others to see.
3 --- MUST INCLUDE EITHER "DancerFurs" or the letters "DF" The character (if one is featured) MUST be silhouetted. The reason behind this is somewhat strange but we love to keep this a going thing because it makes it less about a single person and more about the group of people as a whole. It CAN however be whatever species you'd like it to be.
4 --- The Competition will end February 28th! So you have up until then to send a note in with your entry. The top three will then be decided upon and uploaded directly to our page(with credits of course), as well as given the time frame for which it will be used. 1st place gets 5 months, 2nd place gets 4, and 3rd place gets 3.
II: Furnal Equinox 2013 Dance Competition
Any of you that are interested or know someone who is interested should contact
for information and details. Really trying to get something good going up there so help him out even if it's just reposting in another journal of your own! III: Furry Weekend Atlanta 2013
II: DancerFur Icon Contest
It's a bit late this year! but we're doing it again!!! Would you like your art to be hosted on our page? enter this icon contest to have the chance for your self made icon to be used for a period of time here on FA and on our Twitter page!
The way this works is pretty simple and there are only a couple of "rules" that you should pay attention to and follow.
1 --- Starting today, you may send us your own entry in a note titled "Entry for the Icon Contest".
Just have it include a full size and a 100x100 size of the piece.
2 --- You ARE allowed (of course) to upload it to your own page for others to see.
3 --- MUST INCLUDE EITHER "DancerFurs" or the letters "DF" The character (if one is featured) MUST be silhouetted. The reason behind this is somewhat strange but we love to keep this a going thing because it makes it less about a single person and more about the group of people as a whole. It CAN however be whatever species you'd like it to be.
4 --- The Competition will end February 28th! So you have up until then to send a note in with your entry. The top three will then be decided upon and uploaded directly to our page(with credits of course), as well as given the time frame for which it will be used. 1st place gets 5 months, 2nd place gets 4, and 3rd place gets 3.
DF Update Time! OED, FC, FWA (Sorry about the delay)
Posted 13 years agoHey everyone!
here.
I just want to personally apologize about the big break between updates I have done. Been going through a few personal things and as I saw the work of handling everything pile up I just didn't have the energy to do it until now. So I'm gonna spend most o my day off getting you all the things you need, and getting this group back up and running to speed again!
So thank you to all of you guys that have been patient, and and even bigger thank you to those of you that remain active by posting video links of yourself, or things you think people should look at! I really appreciate all of you, as it is you guys that make this group successful.
I'm always thinking about how far this group can go with member activities, so if you have friends looking to get into our community. Or shy dancers that don't want to post their stuff. Help them build the confidence to get out there more. We're all here to help better each other and express our love for dance. I: One Eyed Doe Dance Competition
is holding a competition for dancers of all types to show there stuff for the grand prize of a Partial Suit made by her. I'm really excited for this event and I'm sure many of you are as well. I mean how many chances do you get to win a free fursuit? Not many to my knowledge :P The competition is open! But is also closing very soon! January first is the last date for entries! So if you are interested please head over to her website: http://www.oneeyeddoe.com/dance-competition and check out all the info there. Everything you need to know is going to be laid out.
This competition will not be held via FurAffinity, but through her own personal website. She would greatly appreciate it if you all spread the word about it as well though. She's looking for more dancers to dance in her suits! So the more competitors the merrier!
- Side notes:
* You can compete in or out of suit, it doesn't matter if you already have one or don't.
* There is a strict 1:30 time limit on the amount of time you have to dance. You can do less, but no more than this. You also have 30 seconds to introduce and say something about yourself, totaling for a 2:00 video. Be sure not to go over the dance limit.
* If you have any troubles with your entry slot or putting your video in your slot, just send her a quick email about it and she should be able to resolve things quickly!
* There's also two public poll prizes for the public to vote on! So that's three different sets of prizes you can win by competing! *The grand prize winner is void from winning either of these slots*
If you're curious as to what her suits look like, you can find some on her website! But here is a video of one of her creations!
To my knowledge
is going to be organizing the dance competition again. I will be getting all the info I need from him to you guys as soon as I possibly can!
As far as a cypher I'd really like there to be one, so if you are going and have any interest in it please let me know if you'd like to help set it up!
As far as any LFO events. To my knowledge we don't have anything planned. There won't be any Floor Wars at FC, and as far as a workshop, I don't know if the LFO member(s) going has planned to do anything of that sort. I also think panel registration is closed for FC. So probably no LFO events at this one. Sorry guys!
All info will be released as soon as I get 100% confirmation we are on the board, and that is when sign ups for Floor Wars will be open. So keep your eyes open if you'd like to compete this time around!
Here are your videos!
A great performance by u4ria crew. Very unique story/concept that I have never seen anyone else do.
A grand showcase piece done by two dancers. They use two different styles and I thought this was a great way to show how you can dance in multiple ways to the same type of songs.
Another great piece from Jaja. This one is a bit older but the video was released due to a class she held at PFA. Again she shows her extreme concept of musicality. Which should be very important to any dancer. Pay attention to all the small things in the song she brings out subtly through her piece. It's just beautiful.
And with that, I'm going to get to work to welcoming and adding everyone that has watched the group recently into the system. Hope you all enjoy!
DF Update - FF report, MFF Info and OED comp
Posted 13 years agoHey there everyone!
here again, back from FF safely. Best of wishes to all of you dealing with the storm, I really hope everyone is okay. :c I: FurFright Report
*** I've got to say that personally, this con was amazing. But as far as generally just dance associated stuff, it went very very well!
** We were personally thanked, during the closing ceremonies, by the chairman of FurFright, Belic Bear for hosting a cypher during the fire alarm catastrophy. He said it was great to have an uplifting group of people make a good thing out of a bad situation. He even jumped in himself and looked like he had a great time. So I'm really happy that we can bring happiness to people like that. So thank you to all of you who participated or even just came to enjoy the circle.
* The East Cost Swing and Lindy Hop panels were amazing. It was so great to see something different than just hip hop styles and such. I attended and it was easily one of my favorite panels of the con. So I really want to give a big thanks to JD and Sadie for holding that panel and taking the time to teach everyone the basics of a ballroom dance style.
- The DF cypher was small but very nice and fun. Thank you to everyone who came and participated!
- The Thriller panel was a great success and tons of fun for everyone I'm sure. Can't wait to see videos of it popping up on YT.
- A group of three dancers put on a last minute performance during the Masquerade and took first place for it.
- The dance competition this year was a good success and everyone had a grand performance that ended in a group gangnam style to end it. Congratulations to
for taking first place! II - Midwest FurFest Info
*** FurFright is also coming up quickly, just two weeks or so away. So we're going to get a head start on relaying all info for this con as well! There are quite a few panels and events going on here so make sure you check everything out if you're attending!
- Going to try and list these in chronological order
- Last-Fur-One Workshop: Starting on Friday at 12:30 pm in the Coach room, LFO is returning to FF this year to offer you a chance to learn straight from some of the members themselves. Exact styles are not confirmed just yet but you can definitely expect to learn a ton from attending this panel! So stop on by and get your groove on.
From what I can tell you, can expect,
and myself to be there as far as teachers go.
- Dance Competition: For all those wishing to compete pay close attention, because the event is being run differently than it has been at FF in past years.
Preliminaries are held on Friday from 2-4pm in the Grand Ballroom E-H. Anyone wishing to compete should show up on time with a CD in hand containing their track. Preliminary contests are allowed 1 minute of dancing each. The judges will then choose ten finalists and get a bit of info from them before the event concludes. *if you wish to compete with a different song in the finals, please have it on hand as well during the preliminaries.
Finals are held on Saturday night at 9 pm in the same ballroom. If you make it to the finals be there on time and ready to dance! If you are spectating, please record and post the event! It's always great to see these events from multiple different people due to differing camera angles and sound quality!
- Thriller Panel: It's back once more! Come join KwiK and JD puppy as they go over Michael Jackson's "Thriller" choreography. No experience required, just come drop in and learn! You even get a chance during the con to perform the choreography with a thriller mob! It's held on Friday at 5:30 pm in the Coach Room! There's also a crash course lesson held on Saturday at 11 am in the Middlesex Room! So you have two big chances to learn an awesome piece of choreography that is pretty much timeless.
- East Coast Swing Panel: Saturday at 1pm in the Middlesex Room, Sadie and JD are going to offer you the chance to learn some East Coast Swing moves. These serve as the foundation for learning Lindy Hop so if you plan to attend that panel you should definitely stop by for this one too!
- Official DancerFurs Cypher: Finally on an official panel schedule the DF Cypher is going to be held at FurFright on Saturday night at 5:30 pm in the Coach room. Come stop by and show your stuff, share the love for the art of dance and even learn a bit! This is personally one of the things I have had the most fun at during AnthroCon so I'm really looking forward to how it turns out during FurFright. ALL STYLES are completely welcome! :D Come get your time in the middle of the circle!
- Lindy Hop & Charleston Panel: Time to step it up a level! Come learn the Lindy Hop from JD and Sadie in this epic panel! East Coast Swing panel is advised to attendees of this panel as it helps serves as a foundation! Join them at the Coach room, Sunday at 3 pm!
II: OED Dance Competition for a Free Fursuit
***
is holding a competition for dancers of all types to show there stuff for the grand prize of a Partial Suit made by her. I'm really excited for this event and I'm sure many of you are as well. I mean how many chances do you get to win a free fursuit? Not many to my knowledge :P
The competition is open! So if you are interested please head over to her website: http://www.oneeyeddoe.com/oed-dance.....mpetition-2012 and check out all the info there. Everything you need to know is going to be laid out. Entries will be accepted once the competition is open.
She would greatly appreciate it if you all spread the word about it as well though. She's looking for more dancers to dance in her suits! So the more competitors the merrier!
- Side notes:
* You can compete in or out of suit, it doesn't matter if you already have one or don't.
* There is a strict 1:30 time limit on the amount of time you have to dance. You can do less, but no more than this. You also have 30 seconds to introduce and say something about yourself, totaling for a 2:00 video. Be sure not to go over the dance limit. (this is listed wrong on the website at the moment, but this is the confirmed time limit.)
* If you have any troubles with your entry slot or putting your video in your slot, just send her a quick email about it and she should be able to resolve things quickly!
* There's also two public poll prizes for the public to vote on! So that's three different sets of prizes you can win by competing! *The grand prize winner is void from winning either of these slots*
If you're curious as to what her suits look like, you can find some on her website! But here is a video of one of her creations!
With all that posted up, here are your videos to enjoy and I will see you next time! - Atsu Fawx
III: Dance Style Example Videos
- They are finally coming! Big thanks to
for creating the opening tag and watermark that are going to be used. As of now I have most of the hip-hop styles covered, and once I get most of those edited and posted up I will be on the search for other dancers to do different styles in different genres! So stick around and if you'd like you can even note us with a video link of you and we'll see if we can get you in on a certain style!
With all that said, here are your videos to enjoy and I will see you next time! - Atsu Fawx
Choreo to a cheery Mika song, yet still intense and strong.
Sometimes you just can't help yourself, you feel the groove and just go off in the middle of a store.
Some choreo showing that versatility is good in dance. Boys should be able to get as feminine as girls can. And girls should be able to go as hard as guys. Gender doesn't mean a thing :3
A silly video to show how dance can just be about having a great time! You don't really need any particular super good skills or anything. Thanks to
for sharing this with me A beautiful mix of hip hop styles with contemporary styles showing how two complete different dancers can work together to make something incredible.
See you all next time, much love.
Finally an Update - RF, FF, MFF and DancerFurs as a whole.
Posted 13 years agoHey there everyone!
here! Long time no see I know D: I truly am sorry for the lack of updates here recently. Just been through a little rough spot but everything is looking up and I can get back to doing my best to help each and every one of you!
I guess there isn't much else to say so I'm just gonna jump right into all the info!
I:RainFurrest Info
*** RainFurrest is coming up real soon, It's the weekend of September 27th. and I am once again sorry it's taken so long to get all the info to you guys! But I'm going to try and make sure all you RF attendees know what dance events are gonna go down!
will be running these two events. So they should run over just fine! :D - Fursuit Dance Competition: The actual even will be held 8 PM in the Emerald Ballrooms D-F (Main Theatre) on Friday night. There will be a simple sign-up before hand, depending on the number of people there may be a small preliminary (which will be announced if needed). The time limit for performance sets is 90 seconds and must remain strictly pg 13. Music is turned in at the competition and may be provided to the AV team through USB, CD or MP3.
Good luck to everyone planning to compete! And to all those that are planning to spectate, please try and record and post the event. That way everyone else may enjoy it as well! I love seeing competitions documented so I can give reports on it through the journal as well as congratulate the winners!
- DancerFurs Cypher: This event is going to be thrown with the help of FurTheRecord, Phor still needs to get back to some of the DJ's about details. I'll relay them as soon as I get them. And hopefully I can get dates and times out to you in time for the con.
II - FurFright Info
*** FurFright is also coming up quickly, just a month or so away. So we're going to get a head start on relaying all info for this con as well! There are quite a few panels and events going on here so make sure you check everything out if you're attending!
- Dance Competition: For all those wishing to compete pay close attention, because the event is being run differently than it has been at FF in past years.
Preliminaries are held on Friday from 2-4pm in the Grand Ballroom E-H. Anyone wishing to compete should show up on time with a CD in hand containing their track. Preliminary contests are allowed 1 minute of dancing each. The judges will then choose ten finalists and get a bit of info from them before the event concludes. *if you wish to compete with a different song in the finals, please have it on hand as well during the preliminaries.
Finals are held on Saturday night at 9 pm in the same ballroom. If you make it to the finals be there on time and ready to dance! If you are spectating, please record and post the event! It's always great to see these events from multiple different people due to differing camera angles and sound quality!
- Last-Fur-One Workshop: Starting on Friday at 12:30 pm in the Coach room, LFO is returning to FF this year to offer you a chance to learn straight from some of the members themselves. Exact teachers and styles are not confirmed just yet but you can definitely expect to learn a ton from attending this panel! So stop on by and get your groove on.
From what I can tell you, can expect,
and myself to be there. - Thriller Panel: It's back once more! Come join KwiK and JD puppy as they go over Michael Jackson's "Thriller" choreography. No experience required, just come drop in and learn! You even get a chance during the con to perform the choreography with a thriller mob! It's held on Friday at 5:30 pm in the Coach Room! There's also a crash course lesson held on Saturday at 11 am in the Middlesex Room! So you have two big chances to learn an awesome piece of choreography that is pretty much timeless.
- East Coast Swing Panel: Saturday at 1pm in the Middlesex Room, Sadie and JD are going to offer you the chance to learn some East Coast Swing moves. These serve as the foundation for learning Lindy Hop so if you plan to attend that panel you should definitely stop by for this one too!
- Official DancerFurs Cypher: Finally on an official panel schedule the DF Cypher is going to be held at FurFright on Saturday night at 5:30 pm in the Coach room. Come stop by and show your stuff, share the love for the art of dance and even learn a bit! This is personally one of the things I have had the most fun at during AnthroCon so I'm really looking forward to how it turns out during FurFright. ALL STYLES are completely welcome! :D Come get your time in the middle of the circle!
- Lindy Hop & Charleston Panel: Time to step it up a level! Come learn the Lindy Hop from JD and Sadie in this epic panel! East Coast Swing panel is advised to attendees of this panel as it helps serves as a foundation! Join them at the Coach room, Sunday at 3 pm!
III - Midwest FurFest Info
*** MFF is coming up in November. This con is proving to be quite a large one so to all those attending, here's some info about the dance events going on!
- Dance Competition: It's comin back for another year! Under the guidance of JD and Theome this is sure to be one of the biggest events at the con. Good luck to all those trying out and to any spectators please record and post the event! It really is great to see stuff from many different angles and camera types. All info about this panel can be found HERE. Exact time and place will be announced once MFF's schedule is released!
- LFO Presents: Floor Wars: Last-Fur-One's successful Floor Wars panel is now going to be held at MFF as well! However there's a new twist! There will be two divisions! Fursuit and Non-Fursuit categories. The sign ups are indeed currently open, so if you're going to MFF and want to battle some people be sure to head over to LFO's Sign-Up Journal for exact details on what to do!
This competition is pretty big already even after only being held for the first time a few months ago! So it's highly encouraged that everyone attend for a really good show! Exact place and time where this event will be held will be released once MFF's schedule is released.
But you can all still sign up! So if you're interested in competing please send an e-mail to lastfurone[at]gmail.com titled "Floor Wars Application" and fill out/include the following form:
Name (what you want to be announced as):
Fursuit Name (If in fursuit div):
Division:
Cell phone number:
Questions/Inquiries:
You will receive an e-mail confirmation ASAP from Ronnie along with answers to any questions or inquiries you include.
Look forward to seeing you all there! It's gonna be a heck of an event!
- DancerFurs Cypher: Although once again not on the official schedule, I plan to have one of these run sometime during MFF as well! So stop on by even if just for a bit and join in on the fun. Time and place will be decided and posted as soon as possible!
- Last-Fur-One Workshop: Returning for another year, LFO will be showing up once more to share with you knowledge and skill :D Just stop on by and get to learning! Time and place will be announced as soon as I receive the info.
IV - DancerFurs
*** While it's a tad strange to think about how big this has all gotten in such a short amount of time, I'm really happy and thankful for all of you being here with me. I really enjoy seeing a lot of you more active members really getting out there and doing stuff with Dance. Talking to each other, making crews, learning from each other and even just hanging out. Sometimes I really feel like we're growing into a subculture withing the subculture that is the Furry Fandom. Sometimes I think that's what I'm aiming for with this group. To really start a community with you guys and show that furries can be dancers too.
I just thought I should like really address you guys as a whole and just say thank you for everything. Making this group successful by just being a part of it and having fun with us. I really hope I can connect with more of you soon. I've only gotten the chance to really talk with a few of you. And there's well over 1000 of you now apparently. I hope to see all of you more active eventually as well. c: But to those that are, thank you!
So, with all that out of the way, here are your three videos to enjoy! I will see you all next update!
Creativity and Uniqueness at it's core. PacMan has been an innovator for the past few years. Exploring his mind to come up with conceptual moves and different combinations to truly take the Waving style (along with many others) to another level.
A small video showcasing the Vogue and Waacking styles by some dancers who are very very good at it. The song may be a little NSFW or just plain odd, but hey. That's how it goes ;P
Another peek at our very own
A while back I posted one of his earliest videos and said keep an eye on him. He's become a very conceptual and experimental dancer with the liquid and popping styles. Hope you enjoy some of the concepts he shows in this video. I sure as hell did. Like I said, he's gonna be a beast. See you all next time, much love.
Update Journal to come
Look forward to relaying it all in a few hours!
smilingsammi bringing some weekly videos again~ POOFY SAMMI DOG.
Kickin' it old school with J.B. Varsity's choreography set at HipHop International! Locking is seen in the hiphop scene but not necessarily hiphop, an 80's dancestyle.
Brandon Harrel aka 747's new choreography he recently released. Lookat dat control.
Academy of Swag's entry at HipHop International. It really shows that with clean choreography and with a large crew, it can appear strong along with being artistic. These guys play with amazing levels and create an interesting visual story.
Les Twin's entry at HipHop International exhibiting NewStyle Hiphop. Intense body control and isolation, a great example all around.
