I'm working through my q of owed adopts and commissions! Getting stuff done bit by bit! I had to push some stuff out due to my dog passing away, then losing my grandfather shortly after. My energy has been so, so low with all the stuff going on but I'm working through the burnout/exhaustion.

Our garbage disposal broke, then our water heater which leaked out of the space under the stairs (it's bare cement with no carpeting), and into the finished basement carpeting. And now our dishwasher is broken! >:V I talked with my aunt about it and we're not going to rush too hard to fix it since we can just handwish dishes. Considering the water heater alone costed 2000some dollars to replace entirely, and the carpet cleaning and mold protection service costed 1000some dollars... We could both use a break lmao.

My bday is coming up soon so I'd like to do something nice for it given everything that's been going on this year. >:V Even if it's just taking a day off!

I've beat bovid, but I'm still healing mentally from losing both my dog and my grandpa within a few months of each other.

It's been a rough few months with my grandpa taking a spinal injury that made him unable to walk, then my dog's health deteriorating as it neared leaving us, then losing my grandfather abruptly with no warning.

But I'm making my way back little by little. And I'm working on everyone's stuff!

Took some time to sort out life and household things after Panda's passing. I sort of lost my momentum when it came to drawing regularly, but I'm making my way back to productivity. Cleaning up the house here and there to feel better and such as well.

Sorry for the silence and missing comments I was feeling stupidly overwhelmed with answering peeps from time to time.

TW pet death


Panda unfortunately passed away tonight. She was getting worse and worse through the night. Truthfully we never had an exact age and she was starting to get to the point she couldn't stand up and her joints were aching. It just went downhill so fast within a few days.

She was my first actual dog I picked out myself and paid to rescue. Watching her through the night and the days prior has been hard. I'll miss hearing her collar jingle and the creative mischief she always managed to get into. Probably the smartest dog I've ever seen.

Need to save up for a vet bill for pixie!

Grandpa fell in his bathroom and had to go to the hospital. He’s currently stuck in bed with a neck brace and can’t move his hands and legs very well due to a herniated disc (idk if I’m spelling that right I’ll double back when I’m on more stable net).

Doing on and off visiting cycles with family members because he needs to be fed and given water since he can’t do it himself and he can’t call a nurse to do it. I may not be able to be contacted at random intervals due to hospital visits.

Need to take one slot to cover a bill!

I don’t post needing breaks too often but my left wrist and hand especially is in a lot of pain. The joint popping is worse than ever and I have to just rest for a day or two to let it recover.
