I'm happy to open up six slots for badges this month! My goal is to have them finished and in the mail in time for furpocalypse.

Here's the deal. I'm offering one of two choices for a badge.

Option one:
I can do a full color badge of your character dressed as whatever you want to be for halloween (I can even match your costume for furpocalypse if you send a ref pic) I can do a bust for $25 (plus shipping) from the waist up for $35 (or more depending on complexity) or a full body for $45 (or more Yada yadda)

Option two:
If you offer me total creative control I'll complete a full color waist up badge of your character as a monster/ghoul/beastie for only $25. I will offer the option of saying "I'd rather not have any blood" or anything else that would turn you off but let me have fun with it!

Hey everyone. I thought it would be easier to communicate through a journal but I'm opening up slots for some comissions!

I did some brush pen portraits a while back and they were so much fun that I really wanted to do some more. Each head shot will be black ink on tan tone paper with a few highlights. I've been playing around with weasyl and I gotta say, I really enjoy the UI and organization of it.
I think I'm going to be using it a lot more than FA for the time being. I'll still check over here but I think most of my efforts to beef up my gallery are going to go over there.

In an attempt to get my butt back into gear (and amuse all of you), I'm going to be posting a number of these journals to help me get used to drawing whatever, whenever.

I'm asking all of you, my kind watchers, to suggest thing for me to sketch. They can be silly (which I really like) random whatevers, simple scenes, animals reacting to various things, yadda yadda. The point of this is to help me get quicker at drawing.

There are a couple rules:

1.) I will not draw a specific character, yours or anyone elses. Any species or hybrid you can think of is fair game.

2.) I wont draw any porn. I'm no good at drawing weiners, anyway.

3.) try to keep the suggestions relatively simple. Give me some room to work with.

4.) I'll keep drawing and posting imgur links until I'm sick of drawing and then I'll close the session. Once I'm done, I'm done, until the next one, anyway. If you want you can @ me on twitter and I can post pictures there. I'll keep track of who asked for what, when.

Furfright was absolutely fantastic. Easily my favorite con (of the three I've been to ;P) Theres no pressure to see any panels or be anywhere and theres never a short supply of cool folks there. This year was special, though.

this year was the first anniversary of when My mate and I officially started dating. We had known each other for a lot longer and both had very strong feelings for each other. He's always been there for me through the hardest times. I never felt like anyone could be as special to me or make me feel so loved until I met him.

He surprised me again this year. He got our mutual awesome friend and forever convention buddy  Sigh-otter to draw a comic about us meeting and pulled lyrics from songs and a verse from my favorite poem to caption them with. The very end panel was him pulling a ring out and me blushing. I looked over and he had a box in his hand and I don't think Ive ever cried so hard and been so happy at the same time.

It's almost unreal. I have moment where I look down at the ring on my finger and think "did that really happen? is this all just some dream?" Theres still so much I have to take care of, also. I havent come out to my family yet and I want to tell them so bad. I know that as long as I have  Kkitsune with me I can do anything. I'm just nervous that someone wont be too happy.

I always felt like my family never knew too much about me (but they always know more than you realize). They dont know about the fandom, they dont know about my fiance. They know I like to draw but they havent seen any of my pictures. I dont want it to be that way... I want them to get to know my fox and share all the joy I have in my life right now. Not that they need to know EVERYTHING, but a little something would be a start.

Anyway, We have a wedding to plan!

As some of you may or may not have known, I fucking love  Kkitsune... like, kind of a lot. I have for a while with some anxieties aside (more me freaking out like "Oh noooo, he likes me and I like him, what do I dooooo?").

That being said, I've day dreamed about living with him for a while and we sort of planned on me moving in and eventually set a date. Well... I ended up moving in a little early because of a bunch of unforseen happenings compounding on themselves and resulting in me needing to get out of where I was. Long story short, I moved up to New York this past weekend.

I'm sorry I didn't let some of my friends know what was happening but I was so stressed out just trying to get things to work (and so much going wrong at once) that I didn't really have time for goodbyes. Y'all deserve to know big stuff like this. I'm sorry I had to cut short our plans to see each other again before I left. I'm sorry if you feel like I'm leaving you behind but I promise, i'm not. I'm relocating, not running away... and it was a really hard decision to make. again, I'm sorry : (

All of that being said, I made it up okay and now the search for a job begins. This stuff is nerve wrecking for me. I know I'll find something but it still sucks >.< I just wish I could look for something that would build towards a career. Every job I've ever had has just felt like labor. Everything in time, I suppose. I just have to keep my skills fresh, never stop learning and put in the effort to make myself stand out.

Speaking of effort and skill, new house means that all the nasty things in the last one (which I was just renting a room in) arent present and theres actually space to work!! I'm going to be setting up all of my synths on a table PERMANENTLY, which means it'll be easier to use them more often. Also, I've got different rooms to go into and a real desk to draw at!!! That means more submissions and eventually comissions! I love making badges and I hope eventually I'll be able to pump them out like crazy <3 On a final note, I've got space to try making a fursuit!! (once I get employment and can fund that kind of stuff, anyway)

I'm super nervous about a lot of things. Talking to my parents and eventually coming out to my family and (I hope) letting them get to know  Kkitsune. My family (like other peoples) Kills me sometimes but I still love them and I want them to know the one I love. I've gotta go back down to their place to kidnap my doggeh at the end of the month. I've gotta finish my stupid degree and maybe try to start another one : / theres so much to be nervous about, but theres even more to be optimistic towards.

In closing, I just want to say that I am forever grateful towards all of you, the furry fandom, for being there. For being an avenue and a creative outlet, for being there when I feel like I've got nothing else, for being friends and family. Thank you for giving me something to love through all the depression and anxiety and isolation that we all go through. Oh, and most importantly, Thanks for all the hugs <3

I'm back home with my lovely  tyrianfox after our weekend at Furthemore and I have to say, BRAVO! I was thoroughly impressed with the con and had to keep reminding myself that it was only the first year!

The panels were nice and diverse and not spread out all over the hotel. The staff was friendly and happy to see us (especially the bartenders). The headless lounge was well stocked with fans (massive thanks to  coopertom )

I had so much fun running around with  Tyrianfox ,  sigh-otter ,  Luckycoon and all my other friends who I got to party with. I especially enjoyed going up for fur factor to beat box with lucky. It was a real treat getting to perform for people for the first time ever and an even bigger treat being able to perform alongside the ever talented  Luckycoon who absolutely TORE IT UP. Next year, we're going to perform as a duo for sure.

Thanks to everyone who came up and gave hugs to Tyrian and I. This was our first time suiting together and it was fantactic <3 He only got his suit a day before the con. It was really down to the wire but  Kilcodo really came through on such a tight schedule!! Again, there are so many people I wish I could hug right now just for making this weekend so perfect, especially after two weeks of pure crap.

I can't wait for next year but I'll be seeing a lot of you at the next Delaware Fur Bowl!!
