These past three days have been the hardest in a very very long time.

I've had financial problems, I have a negative bank balance because my car company withdrew my loan payment five days early (a day before I got my paycheck). I haven't been able to save up enough money for rent this month because of lower hours and wage cuts and bad tips. I've been nervous as hell about talking to my parents and letting them know that I want to move in with my boyfriend and that I want my dog from them, which will involve coming out to my family. It feels like my mom is in denial that I'm gay but she makes it clear to me that I make bad decisions, so... whatever.

To top it all off, today at work I got into an accident in the parking lot resulting in the front end of my car coming off and I'll be at fault in the insurance claim. I have no money, I have no form of income aside from the job I cannot do because it requires my vehicle, and I have little support from my family because they're having financial woes as well.

I don't know what to do. I spent a solid 15 minutes just crying in the parking lot today. My car is my life. It is my livelihood. The stupid thing is... five minutes before this all happened my manager asked if I wanted to go home but I opted to stay so I could earn more and pay off my rent.

Get past the first round of furries got talent. Suit with my boyfriend. Spend time with my good friends and make more. Also I want plenty of pictures taken!

So this weekend was supposed to be super epic.

 sigh-otter came up to visit and we were talking about going to the furbowl on saturday night. Well we spent friday night just hanging out and watching stuff on netflix and had a pizza that I brought home from work. When I woke up I felt awful and spent the whole day running to the restroom x.x Well there was no way that I could suit in that condition, let alone travel. We decided to not to go but I wish we could have. Ah well, by the next furbowl  sigh-otter should have his suit.

I'm feeling much better today and even managed to eat something, so thats good.
We ended up going to visit  Luckycoon and sigh left about an hour ago with a bunch of goodies including scraps of fur left over from mine and lucky's suits to practice sewing with.

Sorry about missing out guys, I hope it was a good time! I cant wait to see the pictures. :3

So i just beat this steam game that come out called Antichamber. It's absurd! It's like portal with bent reality and little instruction. First run through was 12 hours. Challenge mode... an hour and thirty minute. Whew...

Give it a play. It can be a headache and a half but I highly recommend it if you like mind benders.

I just got my room in the omni with  tyrianfox  luckycoon and  sigh-otter!

All of us will have suits so it's going to be a big 'ol party :) Cant wait to see everyone there!

Hey, just an update, Ive got my internet all up and functioning again, hurray!

I'm going to be at the delaware furball for new years eve.

So my housemate decided to upgrade our internet service. What that has resulted in in a new router which wont keep my laptop online for more than a solid minute (essentially I have to reconnect each time i want to load a page). The awesome part is that my laptop seems to be the only computer having this problem in the house meaning we aren't going to go back just because I cant use the net.

I'm going to try and find out what the problem is but until then you probably wont see me on skype or aim or whathaveyou until it has been resolved.

Any advice is welcome.

So I made it back from Fur fright X safely, if not a bit blue, just in time to buckle down for a mammajammin FRANKENSTORM. Luckily all we lost was our internet (thank goodness) I'm hoping all my friends along the coast are safe and that they got away unscathed as well. Looking at all the photos of damage and listening to news reports these passed couple days has been heartbreaking. I really do hope everyone got home from the convention safely.

That being said, the con was AWESOME!!! I ran into a bunch of friends from online and people I met at AC as well as made a couple new ones :)

I also picked up some nice goodies. A couple of prints from  rukis and an original drawing from one of my favorites  louvelex

I cant wait for the next convention. I'm getting help from the ever awesome  lucky_coon to make a bodysuit for danger fox.

Hey everyone!

I'm going to be going up to furfright with a bunch of friends this month and that inspired me to make some badges for my friends. Well, I'm having a lot of fun making them so I figured I would open up some commission slots for anyone else going to furfright (or who just wanted one) I'll be handing out trick or treat goodies at the con and I figure this is a way to fund much cooler stuff to give out to you guys :3

So the other day somebody decided to call my grandmother, tell her I died in a horrible accident, and went on rambling about contacting next of kin and saying prayers out loud and so on.

I have no idea who this person was but apparently he spoke in a very thick accent. My first instinct is that this is someone who was trying to prey on a poor old woman whom they suspected didn't know any better and could be tricked into giving them money. That may not be that case. That may just be me getting all defensive of my family.

My second instinct is that someone with my name died and this poor guy has no idea how to contact his family. If that's the case, that is awful.

In any case, this situation is just weird. My grandmother was shaken by it and called me immediately. It was a slow day at work and I always leave my phone in the car so fortunately I was on a delivery to answer. I couldn't imagine her taking it very well if she got my voicemail.

Weird stuff, man, weird stuff.

Okay. I'm back from my cousins wedding and it was nice!...

Okay, the ceremony was nice. I love my cousin. He's a cool guy and his new wife is a really sweet girl. I'm so happy that he got to have a good ceremony and a nice reception and that nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Our family, on the other hand, (extended, and whatnot) are kind of... hmm... they have their personality flaws. But who doesn't? I have plenty. It's just kind of difficult bonding with them when they don't want to let you forget what a terror you were when you were a kid, especially when they want to remind you of all that embarrassing junk right when you get there and are feeling good and just trying to have a nice time. Oh... And when you're meeting all sorts of people you haven't seen since you were five and trying to make a nice impression. Or telling all those embarrassing stories to new people before you've had the chance to meet them. or... being all passive aggressive with those new people about how you haven't got a nice career yet, while you're standing in front of them. or... laughing a harmless joke made at the reception about the way your aunt likes her kids to be the center of attention and coaches them on how to do so and then asking you to repeat it TO THAT AUNT at breakfast the next morning.

well... the ceremony was nice. Thank goodness I only have to deal with them every so often. Interesting people...

I did get to spend time with my younger male cousin who seems to get the neglectful end of the stick to his two sisters. He loves drawing and the last time I hung out with him he seemed to think I was DaVinci. I taught him a couple little tricks to help him improve and provided some encouragement on getting better. All the kids in his class tell him he stinks. I gave him these words of wisdom: Haters gonna hate.
Oh, and I drew a happy little bearded dragon at the reception for him.

ANYWAY! Nice new developments about the move. we found an AWESOME place and we're waiting eagerly to hear back from the people renting it with our breath held. It's a little worrisome that we called on Friday and haven't heard back since, but hey, it's the weekend. lets hope something happens tomorrow.

I've been thinking a lot about the future and what I want to do and have been breaking it down into tiny little chunks. The thing that gives me actual concern is that I don't know what the best way to achieve what I want is and that I'm going to get in too deep before realizing that I made a mistake. That's sort of what my last college experience felt like. I don't want to put too much strain on my family but I want to make them happy. It's this trade off of "I want to be successful"and "I want to do something that makes me happy" or "I cant do this without help" and "I don't want you guys to carry me".

Well... things are looking up. I'm gazing at an open field instead of staring at my paws. Now I just have to take some steps forward.

After several pots a day, every day, for at least as long as the six months I've been here, the coffee machine has finally shorted out.

[Edit] Good news! The machine lives! Bad news... the outlet it was plugged into does not.

So I met a new person today. A friend of a friend whom I wanted to meet and who wanted to meet me. Well it can be exhausting keeping myself from shrinking into my shell and to keep cool and remember how to engage in conversation. Normally I'm all "rawr rawr rawr!!!" in my head so when it comes time to be normal and act like a human I kinda have to dust off the controls.

Well afterwards I was all worn out and nervous despite having fun and really liking the guy. Then it was off to work, which is emotionally tolling as well. Later in the day I felt like I had had enough. I wanted to go home and curl up and to hell with cleaning and money.

I stopped at the gas station to fuel up and get a gatorade for a little energy and as I'm walking out something catches my eye on the ground. I pick it up ans inspect it and see that it is a button with a picture of a winged unicorn peeing a rainbow onto a cloud. Everything seemed to get better about then.

Just goes to show that you cant let yourself slip too deep into your bad feelings. You'll miss your life preserver. Don't fret over what Isn't real. Simple pleasures are what can help us through the roughest seas.
