The wheel of fate spun in my favour, I can't tell anything about it yet but its a good thing, I'm just not sure if I will be able to work with comms for a while until everything is set.

I've been doing some maths lately and concluding that commissions alone can't really reach my month quota of earnings, so to ensure my financial safety every month I'm considering making ychs a constant offer here, 2 ych batches with 3 copies each every month + commissions leave me very comfy with my debts and also some savings.
Also, I've been thinking about doing some ychs involving my characters, specially Danadriel,but I don't know if would be too narcissistic and even if people would be interested on it,I need to test it yet.

"will all ychs be pregnant or preg related?" yes, or at least will have a toggleable option for belly.

"why just don't charge more for comms?" I see my comm prices as fair for the job I do, I know lot people like my style but I think everyone can see that I'm rough around the edges and I like being this way, I have priorities in my creative process and perfect polish is not one of them, in other words, you pay less for exclusive art and I'm more confortable not freaking about my rough lines,so its a win win for me and for the client!

Another idea I had while talking to a client some months ago is "commission upgrades". Imagine that you bought a commission/ych from me like 3 years ago and you really like the piece, but its just flat color and pretty outdated when compared to my current skills, and you want to see that piece improved , for a small price (way less than an new commission) I can take the original file of that piece and remaster it!I still have the .psd file of every single commission I did, so its possible, of course I cant make miracles with drawings done 5 years ago but still, if anyone is interested to try it just tell me.

I know most of my texts and stuff end up as preaching to the choir, but I like to do them from time to time, to weed out the fash worms from the crowd and also reach the ocasional neutral individual like I once was, some years ago I had an aversion to the idea of gay pride and stuff, but I discovered reasons to be proud and to be loud, I realized that the battle is not over, there is still much to improve in western society when it comes to lgbtq rights and stuff (specially after the damage republicans are causing) sadly for the average person there's not much to do actively to bring this change other than voting smartly, this is why it's important to be loud when push comes to shove, it shows we are here , always been and will be as long humanity exists, most of the brainlet conservative narrative is formed of "there was no gays before" when in fact queer people was discretly erased and washed from history to sustain this ilusion.

Bad things may be about to come but I believe there is reason for optimism, we are gaining terrain in ways I never expected, (by example, the new id card in Brazil will be trans friendly!), even rainbow capitalism can be a victory in part, when bigotry is not profitable we are winning!it's all matter of keeping up the pressure and survive,this is why I believe everyone should able to bite back and bite harder! be ready to defend yourself and others by whatever means you can, sometimes the most radical thing you can do is survive!

I'm not surprised by the new expansion of the rule, it dont affect me directly (I think), but it is stupid and will only hurt the site and the community on the long run.A lot of people are whining about what they will ban next, but I don't think there's much more to ban other than feral, but if they do it this site is done,there's no coming back from it, even I will jump ship after it.

After some rather unwise spendings I did recently and foreseing a major renovation on my home, I see the need to expand my ways to make money out of my art, so I'm considering doing ychs for this Mayternity.
My plan is to charge them less than a regular commission but with poses, background and character proportions locked, so the buyer knows exactly what they are buying and I only need to draw the character, so its considerably faster than a regular commission, win win for both.

An unexpected development on my transition quest, recently I tried to use the public healthcare to get the hormonal therapy, the plan was simple, explain the situation for the psychiatry hoping for a positive response, get the papers and go to an endocrynologist, done. In my head I had like 8 out of 10 chances the doctor would respond negatively, I was ready for a confrontation,when it comes to this kind of thing here you can expect a negative reaction from essentially anyone sometimes even doctors...but contrary to all my expectations he didn't reacted negatively or positively just with curiosity, turns out I'm actually the first transitioner they ever had there! (by that I mean the unity in my city) and they had no idea how to deal with it, I'm the first one in 21 years! this kinda shaked things there in a positive way, they began to research more in how to help trans people in the future, Things may get more entangled and time consuming for me but maybe I accidentally made a positive impact in the world. :U

The director of the place told me its probably because it's a small city (30k inhabitants), very religious and conservative, backwards in most aspects of social progress, so anyone who wants to transition and have a decent life inevitably moves to the capital,it keeps me wondering if eventually I will be pressured in to leaving too, my mind may be ready to defend against direct violence, but the day to day atrition will surely be more complicated to deal with. >_O

I was looking some posts on Deviantart yesterday, beholding the sea of sewage it has become that site at least in terms of posts, everyone and their mother is using AI and spammig that shit like there was not tommorrow, even if you see it in a charitable lens it still shit because it is taking space that could be filled by real artist and real art,if this was allowed here, the front page and the search engine would be constantly flooded.

"But Danadriel, what if they created a special category just for AI stuff?" do you think people who use this shit would follow the rules? do you think these worms care? no they don't, some are even trying to profit from ai generated images using the subscription system,I think the worst part of it is that it is completely free of consequence, there's no developing story or reason to attachment, they can create an account now, spam 500 shitty posts, get banned in the next day and yet nothing of value was lost for them,what ties in my next point, for now the ai is only capable of creating generic and simple characters, but probably in the next year or two it will be already capable of stealing complex characters, in other words any brain dead anon will be able to take your beloved ocs and use the ai to make horible things with it, and it will look like something done by a professional...this WILL happen and will be hell.

Don't even come with the usual arguments in the comments, especially the "AI aRt Is SouLlEss" this is stupid and means nothing, most people cant tell the difference between an ia generated image and real art and it will be progressively harder as this shit evolves,Yes I know it may become a useful tool for artists in the future and blablabla, but I highly doubt since the AI can already do the WHOLE piece by itself and any other form of visual art that evolve from it , the ai will inevitably catch up with it eventually.

Some people even told me that you must fight against it and I agree, by all means nescessary in fact...but how? in a fight you must hurt the enemy in some form, how do you hurt an immaterial enemy like this? maybe trough law, but still Im not sure how to make lawmakers care about, I dont think the mumified boomers who fill most governaments would even understand it let alot care about it, specially the right wing pigs who seem to only care for profits at all costs anyway,as I said before we will only see anti-ai legislation when it affect a sector of the economy with significant political leverage.

Ok so, I dont do roleplay anymore, I used to do years ago but I dont have any interest on it nowadays, this is why I write "NO RP" in the front page of all my profiles,ok great, but there's lot of people who seem to have some issue on getting this message, and even those who get it dont seem to believe it very much.
Its rare to pass a week without some random moron on comming my dms like "hey babe do you RP?", and among those the worst are the ones who have a chosen one complex and think they will magically convince you to do RP with them because they are special or they demand you to explain for them in detail why do you REFUSE to partake in the art of RP.
Although it can be easily fixed with quick block, I still wonder why, why these people even insist on annoying people who don't like to rp, I mean like 8 of each 10 furry accounts on FB are some sort of desperate shitty rp accounts filled with stolen art of characters way more atractive than my ones, why they dont stick on their own cesspoll? is it some sort of reverse logic where they have more pleasure with the refusal? is because I'm an actual artist? is there other artists having this issue lately too? I'm curious. :U

I've been pondering about it in the last months, centaur like creatures are really neat, and by centaur I mean anything with a humanoid torso and a animal body, so driders,nagas and stuff are included on this...I don't know the exact origin of this obsession, but maybe its like the next step of my transhumanist inspiration I dont know.

That's the good part of being an artist, when I like something I draw that thing,but sometimes I want experience the things by other means, usually in some game trough mods, but when it comes to centaurs, it's really scarce, I can't think of any mainstream game where you can be a centaur like creature the whole game even with mods, I know the technical reasons why, having radically diferent shapped characters in a 3d game is costly and massive hassle to code, but imagine the possibilities!imagine a co op RPG with asymmetrical gameplay, where instead of the boring and predictable class/race selection of humans,dwarves, elves and blah blah, you can choose different creatures with radically diferent skills and limitations, by example while you are a regular ass human knight, your friend is like a massive wolf that can even be used as a mount, but he cant go in a shop and buy stuff, or he is a flying creature that can scout ahead and snipe enemies from unreachable places, and so on! XD

Another thing that kinda bothers me in most centaur depictions I find, is that artists (usually the non furries) make the lower body waaaay too small, better balanced proportions would be ok, but I personnaly enjoy the opposite, making the lower body imense! I mean like putting average human torso on a body the size of a semi truck! XD the sad part is that it drastically limits the scenes you can make with a character like this. ;w; also,when you stop to think about anatomical limitations, imagine how much a centaur would need to eat to survive, even a regular one with a horse body, how long your meals would take considering the volume of food you need to consume but limited by a human mouth! or how hard would be to wear clothing in the rear end of your body, this small details would have alot of consequences in cultural world building and I love to think about these things.

I don't have any conclusion for this, I just like centaurs. :U

For those who know me only recently probably didn't know that WH40k was a big thing and a major inspiration for me in the previous years but I did everything I could to distance myself from it since 2019 I discovered warhammer during a very painful moment of my life (the death of younger brother in 2015 if you are curious) eating 40k lore in the daily basis helped me with the whole mourning process, but as the years passed it became more of a nuisanse, first because when you do warhammer fanart you inevitably attract some remarkably unsavory individuals, not just in the political sense but also in their puritanic obscession and to be very especific,I mean those brain dead imperium fans who always feel the need to coment things like "BRING THE HEAVY FLAMER" "HERESY!" or the worst of them all "IS IT A WARHAMMER RIPOFF???" when they see anything remotely religious,I'm not kidding, I once had a moron trying to argue that my sona using a Warframe like bikiny armour was somehow similar to a Terminator Armour! not just is stupid but also pretty annoying,I try to keep my things original as possible and these people act like GW invented candles and wax seals.

But in the last months since the launch of Darktide I felt my interest for it coming back slowly, specially because my friends also got interested and I love to explain lore and stuff, at first I was feeling abit conflicted with it because I didnt want to involve myself with it anymore, but I came to the realization that 40k is not a history with any real conclusion, is like a mirror where upon first glance you will see on it a reflection of your own belifs, if you are a raging atheist you will see the dangers or religion, if you are a bigoted smoth brain reactionary you will see and ideal society where violence and intolerance is the ideal solution for everything, the list goes on and on... I remember seeing in one of Vaush's streams where he said ,the best way to get rid of bad people in fandoms is to get involved, I think he is right, if more and more decent people flood their hobby eventually the bigots and shit go back in to hidding, but I'm don't know if I want this stress on my life right now,I may get inspired for some fanart eventually but it will surely not be empire friendly.

And yeah about the new lore changes, I think the primaris upgrade is neat,their armour is not my vision of perfection but still better than the old marines, the new vehicles are ok (except for that stupid kart thing) but still I wish with the primaris upgrade we got female space marines not because I think would really make any sense on the lore, but because it would cause a hylarious meltdown in a certain demographic of the fanbase :U

For those who don't know ,I play a lot of Rimworld on my free time its one of my favourite games, I currently have 1635 hours on it, I even published a mod for it , I think currently is the best story generator and "indirect" roleplay game in existence, the modding community is so varied and dedicated that you can tailor you experience to almost anything you desire,if you don't know about Rimworld check this guy channel: https://www.youtube.com/@MrSamuelStreamer/videos he is not the run of the mill "hurr durr war crimes and meta" player, his series go strong on roleplay and stuff without being boring. :U

But not all the cool mods are on the workshop, some need a little more digging to be found, I'm talking about specifically RimJobWorld and RimVore 2, both of those are amazing mods if you want to add smut to you game, I dont play without RJW even in serious playtroughts, I like gameplays with serious moments and lewd mixed in, all my stories are like that (well even real life is kinda like that too) I tested RimVore around a year ago and found it interesting but not that amazing at the time, but I reinstalled it some days ago and I noticed it changed, A LOT, it adds so much customization and integration with the dlcs that you can make the vore colony of your dreams if you have patience to tweak it in the menus, you can make something broad like a entire colony with a vore religion, or a single character to fit your perfect vision of a predator or prey, the level of detail left me trully impressed!i can safely say it has my seal of approval! 8D

I was laughing a lot about the utter failure of the brazilian Jan 6 and mocking the minions, their utter failure kinda made my previous posts seem really exaggerated, but today I was reminded that there was a reason why I was so aprehensive, I will try to keep it straight to the point and jokeless as possible.

Seeing the clowns trashing the presidential palace and later being arrested by the very army they worship, is funny and meme material? yes, but its very misleading, their actions and drive may seem bombastic and pathetic, but when they are in a organized crowd they are at their weakest, that don't reflect in the slightest their potential for harm,what I mean by that is their silent and smaller actions are way more dangerous,like by example, a small group (or perhaps even a single individual) of them sabotaged power major lines in my state during yesterday's evening,this is just a small and yet vital example of REALLY dangerous stuff they can do,another issue that I even previously mentioned is the trucker blockades, roadways here are easy to block especially in the coastal regions because most roads are narrow and surrounded by thick jungle and impassable rock formations, if they trap you in the mountain range between the cost and the rest of the continent you are absolutely fucked! there's probably other vital infrastructure stuff that can be sabotage and I'm not even aware of the existence.

Government is going REALLY hard in stomping the the troublemakers, no appeasement at all, even through direct military action, I think this revolt will be crushed soon, but its the in between that is uncertain, to get rid of the fascistical parasites that are festering on this country its very probable that we will pass trough a process that will be dangerously undemocratic, mass arrests are already happening,propaganda machines are being dismantled and even Bozo himself is getting his property seized...do I approve this? yes I literally voted for it! So for those who don't know Brazil just had their own Jan 6, and it was cringe! ok so my last journal was pretty melancholic I don't really regret writing it, but now that I'm sober and more emotionally stable and want to tell some stuff.

I made some maths and I already realized that I'm going to spend a lot of money with transition and health related stuff, so I think I will need to change my work methods a little, simply raising prices will not solve this, in fact I'm planning to make the charging system more specific, so I will not charge the same for a city escape and for a room with a single bed just because they are backgrounds.

I just acquired materials to start sculpting, due the increasing deterioration of my mental health I'm looking for useful/fun stuff to do outside my computer, so I will try sculpture for a while, not just its a thing I wanted to do since I was a kid but also if I reach a decent level of skill with it I can do some pieces to sell here on my city, my mother already sells cloth dolls so I can hop in the business too, I know how to make cute animal stuff, with some adaptation I can make it in to normie safe material and perhaps sell it, if my plan work I will have another alternative in case art is not viable anymore.

I'm also planning to bicycle rides at least 3 times a week, because its a good leg exercise, helps to maintain my stamina, allows me to get some vitamin D because I'm currently looking like a vampire and not just that, I'm having massive stress issues when leaving my house, everytime I'm in public I'm freaking out, I'm having to chug multiple calming meds or booze every time I need to leave home...this is not exactly an Ideal situation, So I hope I can fix it by leaving my house a bit everyday.

Also, I think I'm going to do a small raffle this month, because its my birthday.

OK, so I going to take a small pause on commissions until january 2, I trying to draw a little bit less because my wrist is hurting badly, but after that commissions are coming back at full steam,I was planning on taking a longer vacation and go to the beach, but its too dangerous to take the road because there's a lot of landslides happening this year, and also because a CERTAIN GROUP of people can't accept the election results and they block roads when they get angry, so I don't think I will travel so soon.

I'm really surprised how many people actually read and react to my journals sometimes, really fuels my desire to use it more often,specially for some angry vents, in fact I've been considering to be way more passionate in my words lately,so much revolting shit that will make my life worse is happening, and every time I let this reality sink in,I feel an urge for the fight to start or I just want to drink myself to death...in the last months I was accused of being brainwashed, deluded,infected by degenerate ideologies, being a sellout and so on blah blah part of me wants to laugh the other part gets eager to break someone's teeth, people assume a lot of shit of me, and when I manifest my sincere emotions and its against their fanfic they can't handle it, its pretty annoying ...and I'm a nobody, must be 100x worse to anyone more famous!I'm friendly and polite, doesn't mean I will be ok with everyone, if you are shitty I want you to fuck off and die! I'm a fiction writer , doesn't mean I'm oblivious to reality and I'm not going to react to it, I use a female presenting fursona and a mostly female presenting appearance, dosen't mean I'm your fucking mommy, and the list goes on and on.

I usually have a text structure in my mind when I post these but not really today, my mind is currently a funnel of many things I want to say but yet I don't know how to express, often the expression "Survive out of spite" comes to my mind but in practice is way more complicated, when the heat of rage goes out the could wind of despair wipes out your hope,I'm not nihilist, in fact I despise nihilists, but I don't expect any more good things, I don't live in the hopes of good things anymore, I just live waiting for this day, this gut feeling I have since I was a kid, that there's something coming, something very bad that I must overcome or at least survive, and now I feel its coming soon like a huge sandstorm in the horizon, I don't know.

I often spend so much time tailoring my posts to ensure no one gets to wrong impression, that so useless, anyway I'm currently drunk and I will probably delete this later once I read it again.

I bought it already expecting to refund it, but I liked it! it is indeed a very flawed gem that needs polishing, but a gem none less, I'm really hopping to see it expanded in the future with more classes,weapons ,missions and stuff, we could see more missions outside the hive in the future, I would love to see more of that blasted dead desert, or even a "chaos wastes" mode where you go even deeper in to the under hive.

What drew my attention the most was the fact you can make your own characters, but not just that, with the proper choices you don't need to be the average brain dead loyalist most 40k games force you play with! my first character is a psyker (of course I would play psyker first, space witch!), I was happily surprised to see how much she despises the imperium in her dialogues, she questions authority and the oppression of the imperium, mocks the faith of the zealous characters and even calls the emperor a CARRION! I LOVE THAT! what a fucking breath of fresh air, I'm so tired of the usual "URRRR DURRR FOR THE EMPEROR" "pUrGe tHe HerETics" "bring the heavy flamer blahblaha" both in games and essentially every single place where there's 40k fans...what a delight...not just that but some months before the game launched there was a lot of far-right worms whining because there's women and non whites in the game, I'm sure they loved the cast of npcs revealed on the launch specially the Valkyrie pilot! c:

My only complaint with the game is that I can't carry a firearm and my force staff, I love my thunder but that overpowered heavy revolver makes my cock hard, I want to have both! D8<

(edit) ok I have two complaints, I wish I could do private matches solo, I rather trust the bots than moronic players who think they can solo the demon host, then complain when they inevitably die.

I just me or the number of artwork involving humans has grown a lot here in the last weeks? at least judging by the frequency they show up on the homepage.

That's it, I'm done with that hellhole, I was already considering it for months, twitter never gave me anything good, nor helped my career significantly and only made me feel worse,no matter how much I clean my follow list my timeline, is always an absolute doomscroll,I never felt comfortable posting my stuff there and now that all sorts of toxic internet worms will have free pass there it will be even worse, so yeah I will delete my account.
I don't think twitter will end but it will get worse significantly,I would love to see it crash and burn ,but ain't gonna happen, regardless of that I'm not interested anymore,in 2 days my account there will be gone.
