In the advent of a lot leaving FA for their choice of reasons, and a few more because those couple few who hang around, but dont post anything except negative journals laced with send me money journals have got to go... I did a bit of cleanup on my lists and followings and etc's.

New FA rules. I dont mind an occasional vent of negativity or 'this is what sucked' lately. but if i see toomuch a trend on "my life alway sucks' (and in one specific journals case "oh and i'm always poor send me money) those wont last long on my watch/friends list here anymore.

The ticket Discount Price will work out to $18 per ticket able to be paid in cash near faire gates to myself. This is a steep discount of $13 off the full at gate admission price of $31 per ticket. Ticket prices have raised slightly, but thankfully the savings of groupon are keeping pace!

I just have to grind these next couple overnights of work which shouldnt be too terribly hard!

I've accused others of being whiny emo crybaby complainers, even somewhat recently. I strive to stay on the positive side of things and not be a source for drama. I hope i can vent a little frustration here without being my own worst crybaby emo complainer that I accuse others of being.

At the same time I cant specifically be sorry or apologetic if someone very specific to me, allegedly an individual friend who say they care for me and about me, pull a bit of an asshole move in a series of traded texts with me. And instead of just saying they are sorry hide behind the "I was only kidding dont get mad about it" defense... among other "psychology 101" trying to turn-the-blame-back-on-to-me defenses.

I wasn't pleasant in my reaction and response. For a striving friendly, polite, hopeful and positive sort, I will tell everyone who is reading here... I'm also very mess-with-the-bull: Get the horns reactionist. I will not be polite. (double especially if i have right to be mad and you tell me to calm down) I will not hold back. I will yell. I will swear. I will come at you with venom and spite. I do not wish or want or like to be this way, but I will also not be held to be a 'suck it up sucker' either. Make me angry then the eyes go white and Mr. McGee would not like me either.

But my larger point is, that reaction wouldn't have had to happen at all, and would not have even been necessary, if the one individual who said "oh im only kidding" too far after the fact simply chose to not start his instigating asshole attitude in the first place.

I sit here on a lazy saturday morning nice and relaxed, a good start to a weekend that breaks the work routine. It being Mothers Day sunday and a family plan for that, I do have the better part of time, including my usual now-three-day-weekend off for Monday as well... its just..

I want to stop and reflect and know that I appreciate the times i have to spare and for fun and say I'm doing okay with that. As well as the usual wrapped up in the work home work routine.

While the weather has been kinda MoSTLY dodgy over the past few days (more grey/overcast/rain/cool/etc...) than nice, and for the short time it did break into something nicer and i was kinda stuck at work and not able to out and enjoy it... I will be patient as i understand there's some clear up good stuff coming that I will intend to get out and enjoy when it peeks its face out again.

And to my furry friends in/around the New England area, and a bit afar that I get to see at cons. Thank you.. for your friendship, support, good will, good wishes. I appreciate a lot of you. I know i can have moments where to put it politely i can likely be a 'high maintenance' friend to keep. to put it not so politely.. yes, i think i can be a bit of a touchy oversensitive triggery yelly sweary asshole quite a bit. Those of you who have the extreme patience to forgive me in those moments and keep me around. YOu're awesome at that. I try to give back on the positive side too, when I am able and make it worth the annoyances.

Okay so.. like a lot of dreams, there's a lot of 'fluidity' to it so the progression may seem to shift here and there, but as i'm still trying to collect and remember as many of the details as I DO remember while I'm still remembering them here they go:

The dream I recall started me at a furry con helping backstage at a masquerade. Not too unusual. I was viewing the acts from backstage and talking next acts up. This made some unusual fluid move into that this was a con tht was being held in a summer camp like setting, much like FERAL in Toronto. Next thing I knew I was sort of flucutuating between keeping tabs on the masquerade acts, but also enjoying a bit of barbecue festiviites and a picnic that was going on.

Then it sort of phased into an activity where someone was offering up body paint/face paint talents for free and i found myself at first watching someone who was being prepared and painted like a gazelle. (Maybe it was you, Nahani!?) And then it was my turn and I didnt say so or tell them but they knew I wanted to be a kangaroo. So as they're slapping some paints on my chest and arms and mixing some colors to get the right tones and shadows and textures for my face, I see at the far side of the dream picnic grove an actual kangaroo hopping and loping around as they tend to do, slowly making its way over.

At this point, the dream mostly fluctuates a bit too much and loses its focus and I find myself awake... darn! But It was still significant in two ways. One. I'd not had a lucid tangible memorable dream like this in a fair while so it was nice to have that specific experience in of itself again. Two. It slowly occurred to me what i expereinced wasnt just a vivid dream but one that included my spirit animal, the kangaroo, who appeared within the dream. So.. I just wanted to recognize that fact in of itself too. There were other elements to the memories within the dream. But i saw and I paid attention. There may or may not be a 'meaning' or 'message' or maybe there is... ? I just wanted to share. Anybody have any thoughts or input?

I'm only commenting on this to some of my real friends here who follow my FA. I had to block and hide/delete some recent shouts. If you've been reading or paying attention to them and know who's been up to the shenanigans, I'll simply trust that I can safely say theyre only proving their own point of how correct I am about their psychotic drama filled bullying attitude and then pointing fingers behaviors after the fact.

If you've managed to more or less laugh off or ignore them with me, thanks for that, its back up enough. Their words can be exactly that. Words. I've put blocks in place to prevent further ridiculous repetitive comments and shouts. I hope this will return my FA page to what it is and has always been. A positive place for silly bonk kangaroo things. Its the best action I can take. Actions speak louder than words.

OUr road trip crew including myself, Auriam Snow Leopard, and Scruffy Thunderpaw (husky) have arrived in Cromwell Ct after a thankfully quick and easy road trip down here in rather nice fall crisp weather. All Checked in, Room 130 on first floor overlooking a corner of zoo near pool side. The slider door into zoo/pool area is evidently sealed tight though. darn.

2. Do you know why you were named that?
The Danruk half was a random chance pairing of consonants and vowels that I originally created for a short story I wrote long before my fandom days. Years later after refurbishing it to go with my kangaroo fursona, I'd find out it would only be one letter off an Australian Aboriginal tribe known as the Dha'Ruk. Talk about freaky coincidences!

The Rooface half is newer to the character within the last 3 or 4 years, and inspired by two fantastic furry friends simultaneously. One Being Tsune Shikoi a fox living in Texas, and the other Shade who was then a crow but then also a bunny but may be something else entirely. Last I knew they still were in London, Ontario, Canada.

3. Single or taken?
Single. With a nice list of friends. some of those 'with benefits'.

4. Have any abilities or powers?
Danruk in of himself is not a Magical kangaroo. however, he does happen to have at least a partly magical pouch. Funny how that works on a few male kangaroos around our fandom.

Danruk does not like a very specific Platypus that goes by the name of Luquewarm. He's a very naughty bad devious platypus. thankfully for the rooface, I retired Luque years ago.

Personally, a lot of my social activity revolves around the furry community. It does notentirely define all of my social contacts or connections but it does easily account for 92 percent of it. I do enjoy fursuiting and the bowling events. going to the various cons our fandom holds. The Boston gang at Tuesday Night Trivia at the Central Wharf has been a good thing going too.

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
Ask Sparrow from the toronto furries group. He can probably tell you a story that I'm not proud of. Ask my canadian ex wife. It didnt end well. she may likely be in the camp of 'hurt'. And just about anyone else that I might have lost patience with and gone yelly and swearing at. I'm a good roo,really.

Who: YOU, and ME, and the rest of us costumed Crazy furries. (Ears and Tails encouraged, partials welcome, full suits at your own discretion of no specific solitary headless zone/changing areas except public privy area)

What else?: A FREE (yes, free!) Post Faire BBQ food gather at Danruk's Family Plymouth household.
When: immediately following faire/last joust. Approx 630/7pm.
Where: 61 Flintlocke Dr. Plymouth MA 02360.
Note: For GPS purposes Flintlocke, include the 'e'. no space in the word. Otherwise it will send you to Duxbury Mass and thats entrely too far the wrong way away. However, Actual plymouth street sign may show it with a space between flint locke.

YES! Indeed. I am happy to announce, with some initial help from Mizuhiro Neko and also Cirrus Dragon to announce 2014 King Richards Faire Furmeet date will be happening Saturday, September 6th 2014. This is the immediate Saturday/Weekend following the Monday Holiday.

King Richards Faire is a Ren faire located on Route 58 in Carver Mass, and for those of you who attended last years event (and previous years too perhpas) We intend to put on another good gathering and show too. Faire gates open at 10:30 am and goes to about 6:30pm after last joust tournament ends.

Except this time I hopefully a little more preparation and coordination for the following:

Cheap Tickets Info Details (what you want!) I have already pre purchased through groupon a block of 16 tickets. (the maximum block i could buy on one purchase) I'm havign my mother assist to buy 8 additional, for a total of 24 discount tickets.

The ticket Discount Price will work out to $17 per ticket able to be paid in cash at faire to myself. This is a steep discount of $12 off the full at gate admission price of $29 per ticket.

all replies and responses are on a first come first serve basis.

NOTE:
While an idea was being considered for a one night mini con at a nearby hotel, a pricing request was returned within the last 24 hours and the room rate quoted for an estimated 10 room block did not return any reasonably cheap rate or price at a hefty 209 plus tax per night.

So therefore the post Faire activity for 2014 will once again be a household BBQ at Danruk's Plymouth Household at 61 Flintlocke Dr. I have updated the form to a simple yes/no response.

Food and drink will be prepared and provided, at no extra cost, and for those who want some directions to perhaps go to a nearby supermarket and buy some of their own extra grillables (dogs burgers etc) I can provide that if necessary.

Hey All!

The King Richards Faire furmeet was a big success, and a good number of you seemed to enjoy the post Faire BBQ at my house. let me tell you that was one of the nicest parties that's been hosted here in a while!

Great folks and furs, I believe our total count including straggler groups added up to 25 or 26. The BBQ count was in the 20's as well. Thank you ALL furs, friends, guests who were very generously awesome about socializing, hanging out, and for those of you who stayed just late enough to welcome my mum and dad home and thank them for their hospitality... they loved that! You're all in trouble they say we can host again next year.

Really, couldn't have asked for a much better day for weather too. If there was only one minor detail I wish I could've managed a bit better, was the deep-discount Groupon tickets. Bear with me here in defense, We simply didn't have enough for everybody. But WHY is that...some of you? Bueller? Bueller? I cant stress enough that the shortage of tickets that I counted to pre-purchase was due to a few of the group simply did not reply to the original posting for cheap tickets. I under-purchased because I did not see the numbers of replies to confirm anticipated attendance. to help resolve this (next year) please i cant stress enough if I make a post for pre-ticket purchases, I can tally fantastically better and anticipate purchase needs if I get some sort of indication. I'm sorry that a fair number of you were left out. (at least 6+) Dont let that happen next year. how? easy!! Just reply to the initial journal and don't wait last minute and show up expecting there's enough to go around!

This is a call for furs for the annual 2013 King Richards Faire meet!

Join us in Carvershire on Saturday, September 7th for a faire day of fun and frolic and performers of many talents. Come view acrobatics. Feats of magic and deception. Well washing Wenches or the Muddy Beggars! Step into the glen where fantastic tigers and other exotic cats prowl and roam. And lest ye not forget, The kings jousting tournament field!

Also available are the kings feasting tables and myriad of goodies! ye olde Turkey legge or Bowle of Chowdah! not to mention the faire craftsmen who peddle their faire wares to view and perhaps purchase!

A day of Social merriment and fursuit friendly! Come Join the day of fun meeting at the front gates and spending the day long, and this year following is an open invitation post barbecue and social hosted by Danruk Rooface at his Plymouth household!

Ears, tails very welcome! Full fursuits are also allowed but be aware that your 'headless zone' is still mostly public in the privies corner. If you go to big cat show in fursuit kindly stay towards the back as to not spook the actual real 'furries'.

Ticket Details! Danruk Rooface has pre-purcased 12 deep-discounted Groupon Tickets. They will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis near the meeting spot for $16 per ticket. This is approximately a $10 savings off the regular at-gate price and the best coupon rate available. Bring CASH please. Food tickets can be purchased separately once inside faire. Should the discount tickets run out, they will have to be purchased full price at gates.

Post Barbecue Details! Shortly after last joust and faire closing any and all attendees are welcome to come and attend a post-faire food and social time at Danruk Rooface's Plymouth household located at 61 Flintlocke Dr. Plymouth MA.
Directions will be offered to drivers however a small caravan will also be held for easy-follow route in a short drive to household! Barbecue is free and open, no 'bring your own' necessary. Bring games or entertainment.

Weather: King Richards will happen 'rain or shine' with an exception of only 'extreme weather' such as heavy downpour rain and high winds and/or hurricane like conditions to cancel. otherwise, dress accordingly!
