Hello again, everyone~!
(Yes, I'm not dead. Wouldn't blame anyone for thinking so if they just look at my FA activity, though. >x3 )

First of all, I know I'm pretty much ten days a lil' too late to say this (on time), but... I still want to wish everyone a great Happy New Year and that this year will be a good one for y'all~ May your health be good, your dreams come true and that a lot of days are full of fun and joy, especially now that we've left the shadow of what pretty much was a pretty... downtrodden year that was 2024. Hey, we all can at least hope that 2025 will be a good one, yeah?

As for how I've been the past few months and where I stand now... Again, I'm sorry for just disappearing and going quiet for a good month or so. A lot's happened - been busy with (YCH) commissions, drumming up ideas for new YCH stuff... things happening at home, getting a place for myself to live and do work in, sorta running away from home... Again, a lot has happened. I've been meaning to write this up and update my FA ever since December last year, but... I've only had the chance to sit down and write this journal nowadays. So... yeah. At least things between me and my family have patched up for the most part and that the busy stuffs in my life are starting to die down, so now I can focus again on getting back into the thick of things here in FA.

Also... my bday happened a few days ago, which kept me pretty busy too, in its own way. x'D
Massive shoutout to my good friends Fan ( fan007) and Tabitha ( Tabithathecat) for gifting me some great bday gift art, which I'll be posting up here sometime real soon. Don'tchu worry about that~

As for the other things from my end, especially the art-related things... I have, as I said before, been doing a decent amount of commissions and YCH ideas. Plenty of sketches too, but not too much stuff that are... fully clean and complete, let's just say. I'll get to posting those up too, while also working on the comms that are currently on my to-do list. It'll take a bit, but shouldn't take too long that y'all have to wait too long for them.

And... as for my YCH stuffs... I know I've said before that I was planning on the YCHs on just being one-and-dones, or something like that - like, one scenario will be up for one or two rounds/batches and then they'll be closed forever?
Buuuuut... thing is, the more I thought about it and the more I just did my art in general, I've... noticed that it's not too good of an idea either. It just demanded too much micro-managing that I couldn't really give to this sorta system, both because of the person I am and also because of... the amount of workload I tend to give myself. Hah.
(Also... coming up with new YCH stuff can... take quite a bit more time and effort than I thought. Hahah. x'd )
So... change of plans, change of system. Something new that I want to try out is... (1) to open up all of my YCHs, past, present and future, free for anyone to order anytime, though the prices may have to be adjusted a fair bit to make things a bit more fair for myself, and (2) to have a collection/list of all of my YCHs both here on FA and on the site that I handle my FA comms (for this profile at least), Artistree.
The FA part will be easy since I've already started on that. The Artistree one will take a bit more time to get it running, but... shouldn't be too bad.
Also, new YCH templates and scenarios will get posted up here when they're ready for release, so don't worry about that. Yeah, essentially you could just say that things're reverting back to how they were before- Look, I'm still trying to figure things out for myself, okay? xd

Oh, and one more thing too. I'm also opening up a Bluesky account to post my stuff on there too. Just think of it as extra exposure plus also a lil' bit of security - just in case something happens to this FA account of mine, you guys can stay updated on my status and arts over there on my Bluesky account in the meantime.

There's not much on it yet, if anything, but... hopefully I can get to updating there real soon. x3

And also do more stuff with Magnifi, introduce some more characters too! Because, as great as the lil' reality-warping imp is, I've got other characters in mind that I plan on bringing on here to FA as well... and hopefully it won't be too long until they can make their appearance and bring their own layers of shenanigans to this place~

Uhh… real quick, before I get to the real meat and potatoes of this journal, I just want to apologize yet again for not updating this place in a long while. The past few months have been… reaaaaally, reaaaaaaally hectic for me, and I had to give my absolute all to deal with some huge issues and not just break down into millions of little pieces in the process.

But… on that (and now a more celebratory) note… After months of arduous blood, sweat and tears-spilling… MY COMMISSION PAYMENT PROBLEMS ARE FINALLY SOLVED!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, I cannot tell you just how terrible was the struggle to get to this point — and how absolutely overjoyed I was to finally find a solution to this absolute pain of a problem. (Long story short, had to try out a whole bunch of different platforms, so many of which failed. Lots of time and money wasted. In any case, massive shout out to  Rumbaler who helped me soooooooo much with all the testing, by the way. And to everyone else too who gave me even the smallest of support! Seriously, I can’t thank all you guys enough. ) TwT

So, now with that all sorted out, where does that leave me with; and what can you expect to see from here on out?

Well… definitely more activity now, for sure. Got so much stuff on the back burner, it’s not even funny. Sadly, I haven’t done too much in terms of full-fledged, fully-rendered pieces… buuuuuut I do have quite a lot of sketches piled up from the past few months. I can at least post some of them up here every now and then while I get to work finishing them up or making some more new stuff. :3

Secondly, and more relevant to the title of this journal, I’ll be back to being able to accept and work on YCH commissions, even opening up new ones in the future, all with (hopefully) no problems. Although… and even though I want to do a special YCH for Halloween… I don’t know if I’ve got enough time to make it work. Again, got a lot I gotta have to finish up first before I work on the new stuffs. ^^;;

And also, I’ll of course be prioritizing finishing up the old YCH commissions thaaaaaat that have been pending for months now (as long as the commissioners are still going through with them... urk, i hope i didn’t piss you guys off too much, i’m so sorry… >.<;;)

Also, also… I’m thinking of — and this is more of a “big picture“/“playing the long game” sort of thought — most likely (1) opening up a Bluesky account both to expand my art-net out a lil’ bit more, and also as an alternate/secondary account in case something goes wrong here on FA; and (2) opening up a BuyMeACoffee shop to sell… less-commission-style stuff like stickers, emotes, etc. Sadly, that shop’s gotta be much more on the SFW side due to site policies, but… hey. Alternate things I can work on and provide for you guys, right? If you got any (non-spicy-and-kinky) ideas as to what you wanna see and buy in that shop, lemme know and I’ll see what I can do~


Still… even with all that said, it might take just a few more days for me to finally get back into the swing of things around here again, thanks to the fact that… I’ve only just recovered from that months-long stress marathon of having to fix my commission problems, so I’m gonna have to adjust my mindset from fixing to now creating. So…. Yeah. I know I’ve been saying a number of times before that “I’ve returned, and now I’ll get serious”, but… hopefully, with the biggest roadblock finally out of the way, my return and attempts can finally, FINALLY stick for good…

…. Well… Let’s just hope so, anyway…

Alright, well, before I get to sharing the bad news, I just wanna say that I’m glad that FurAffinity’s back up and running again — I was getting real worried for a good bit there, not gonna lie, since FA was the only way I could contact some people regarding some commissions-related stuff, ya know? Oh, and also I was a lil’ miffed too; like, imagine just returning back to a place to try and get serious in there again, only for that place to go into emergency mode shortly afterwards. (Not that I’m blaming or throwing shade to anyone on FA, of course, mind you.) x’D

Well, with that outta my chest… let’s get down to brass tacks now, shall we?

I just wanna apologize to everyone for a moment again, especially those who’re still waiting for their commissions from me, for being a lil’ slow with things this time around. I’ve just started to recover from a sickness that’s been wrecking me for a good entire week last week — and even though I tried my hardest, I couldn’t really bring myself to get too excited or zippy with my drawings when I just felt like coughing my lungs out of my mouth for days on end. That doesn’t mean I’ll put off working on the comms indefinitely, it’s just that it’s gonna take (hopefully) a lil’ longer to get the remaining ones out the door. Again, I’m sorry about that. I’m trying my best here. @.@

And last, but definitely not least — and this is something my current commissioners will know quite a bit of ( Maverique and  Plane_Sandwich), but I’ll reiterate it here just in case — I’ve… been having more problems pop up with my commission payment methods again. At first, I had something that seems to work… and then it started demanding some waaaaay to private/personal/confidential details about my clients, so I had to say “Screw it, this is’t worth it” and abandon that one. And now I’m trying to find another payment method that’ll hopefully work and not blow up in my face outta nowhere like last time again — I was hoping to get this sorted out last week, buuuuut again, more and more complications popped up again, and now I gotta have to jump through more and more hoops again… juuuuust so I’ve got the chance to make this all finally work for me, so that I can finally get commissions to FINALLY work properly for me.

In other words, I’ve got a bunch of things happening on right now that’s been eating away at me and leaving me unable to be as fast with my art as I’d like to. I’ll try my best to resolve these things as quickly as I can and get good progress as quickly as possible, but… man, I’d be lying if I said I don’t want to bash my head against a wall right now. Thanks for your understanding, all the same though, everyone, and I hope you’ll be patient with me and my nonsense that I too have to deal with. TwT

Geeze… I really left this place to gather dust for so long, huh? Five or something months of nothing when I could’ve done or said… anything… Ergh… Well, at least I’m here again. And hopefully, I’ll make it stick. Well… hopefully, anyway.

And look… I’m sorry.

I never meant to just quit making or posting art here on FA, or that I meant to just disappear without so much as a whisper. But… at the same time, I… really couldn’t bring myself to come back here for… a lot of reasons, really. Both external and internal. Too many bad things happened to me, too many plans just ended up going up in smoke and… well, it left me at a bad place that I’m still trying to recover from even as I write this.

But… that was before. It’s been four, five months, and that’s… given me enough time to think about things and dust myself back up. So that’s what I’ll be doing from now on. No… perfect guarantees, but I’ll try my humanly best as I can.

Now… Admittedly, I originally wanted to post a journal like this earlier and even wrote up some segments about some changes I wanna be doing to my stuff around here — buuuuut it ended up being WAAAAAY too long. Like, actually pages long (trust me), and I figured that’s just way too much for a single FA journal (and this is already starting to run its length as is), so… instead, I’ll just put the rest of what I wanna say in (lengthy) bullet points:

1. No more story segments in the descriptions of art posts. —— This part kills me so much, even as I’m writing this now. I love, love, LOVE story/scenes in descriptions which is why I tried to put them in my own pics… buuuut that ended up putting way too much pressure on me and thus scared me from posting stuff for a long time. So… any long narratives in my descriptions has got to go. Sorry, but I can’t keep biting off more than I can chew. Maybe, if there’s a full story that I really want to write, I’ll make it a separate thing instead.
2. Regular commissions will be closed. —— Or, at least, I won’t be having them on 24/7. I never had a concrete plan for them anyway and no one seems to be interested in ordering any from me (sans a few, but not through FA anyway), so… yeah. There’ll probably be times when I’ll open them again, but most likely for limited time/slots only.
3. YCH’s will be limited as well. —— My original plan with YCHs is to just have a bunch of templates open indefinitely and just let people choose whichever one they want, close and open the slots whenever I feel like it… But, now that I think about it in the long run, it just introduces way too much tedium for me to deal with, most likely. I’ll just focus on new YCHs and close them up after… say a round or two of doing them.
4. Different form of commission payments. —— All this time, I’ve been using a specific commissions-handling site in order to handle the commission payments and all that, but… due to some circumstances, I’m going to have to use a different method instead. Not that I’m saying that the site doesn’t work, it’s just that I couldn’t get the money thanks to some stupid restrictions enforced by my country. So… I’m going to have to experiment with different commission payment options for a good while. A lot of apologies in advance for everyone who’s going to order some comms (YCH or otherwise) from me in the future

Other than that, I’ll mostly (for now) be trying to post the pics that I should’ve posted by now — the completed comms, for one thing — as well as work on new stuff for me to post here on FA. I… admittedly haven’t done much post-worthy art over the past few months, but… I’ve got some in mind, and hopefully you all don’t have to wait too long to see ‘em. Oh, and I’m also thinking of opening up another account on a different socials site — maybe Bluesky — for a more day-to-day approach of posting updates, but… mmh. We’ll see.

In any case, thank you so much for your time and understanding. Hopefully, this all won’t be just another flash in the pan like last time… But I guess it’ll be up to me whether that’ll be the case or not, huh?

* Because Paypal doesn’t properly work in my country and I can’t receive money using Paypal as a result, I use a website named Arty to handle my payment. Basically it’ll help me receive payments and also help set up commission “contracts”, so to speak. It’s a lot of extra steps, but my hands are tied. Sorry.
* A commission fee consists of both an initial deposit fee (usually 20 USD) and also a final payment fee. So… for example, if you order a flats commission that costs 35 USD, there would be a 20 USD deposit and then a final 15 USD payment once the commission is done.

- Be sure that whatever character you want me to draw for a commission is an actual proper character! (If you want me to draw a generic species — say… a generic Lucario or Zoroark — for the commission, that’s fine too. Just let me know ahead of time.)
- Commissions requested when my Queue slots are full will be rejected/ignored. Please wait until I have open slots in my Commission Queue before you request a commission from me.
- Major revisions to a commission (changes in poses, characters, scenes, etc) are only allowed before a concept sketch has been approved of and the deposit is paid. Minor revisions (recolors, corrections, small additions, minor alterations) are allowed after the deposit payment, but not before the final commission payment (unless necessary or mandatory, just tell me if something really needs changing).
- Any art you’ve commissioned from me are for personal purposes only and are not allowed to be used for commercial purposes — **UNLESS** you discuss with me for what commercial purposes you want to commission my art for (and then later attain my approval, of course).

Speaking of new things, though, I wanna ask you all… is anyone interested in taking commissions from me?

Truth is… (posting) kinky artwork isn’t the only reason why I opened up this account in the first place. For a good while now (say… 6 months?), I’ve been meaning to make some money for myself, even tried my hand at opening and offering commissions at other places… but haven’t found much success, honestly. So, I came here. To see if I can make it on FA instead. I’ve had my eye on this place for a good while now (much, much longer than my account creation date actually implies), so why not give it a shot, even with the “things” I’ve heard this site went through recently right?

Now… don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying or asking to go big or be super famous and rich and all that jazz. I just wanna make enough money so I can start my own life, get away from the things that have caused me so much misery for so long and, more importantly, do the things that my heart’s been yearning for for more than a decade. A desperate plea to win you over, you say? Yeah. Yeah, I won’t blame nor disagree with you if you think that’s the case. Make that claim if you wish. But what I said is my feelings in truth, and I feel like I can’t forgive myself if I’m not being honest about at least that with all of you. So… I hope you understand.

Yo! Don’t mind me, just puttin’ some words out, making a sorta greeting-announcement for the (technically) first day on the job here. :P

So! Seeing as I just made this account and all, I’m going to spend the next few days (hopefully not too long) setting stuff up and also uploading some old and new art to my gallery. Not exactly a lot of art-stuff, but between that and working on new art, it’ll keep me hectic and busy for a good while.

Aside from that, I’m also gonna be working on some Nullvember stuff, since it’s the month of November and all. Yeap, you heard me right. Been having rubber and drones and null bulges on my head for a good while. So… why not indulge in those fantasies for that one month made just for them, right~?
