Posted 14 years agoI've decided what I'm going to be writing over my winter break and while I've made a lot of promises to bring other things up and do those for you, I've severely neglected these duties and I swear, SWEAR that I WILL get to the next piece of all of it.
However,
Tonight I watched a wonderful documentary called: For the Bible Tells Me So. It's about homosexuality in the christian culture in America. I really liked it and it took a very good stance that I agree with. I've decided to write Senet's story as the Oracle of Life.
It's about an anima-mancer who used to be a tool of the church (a very influential and powerful organization) and who broke away to teach people what he thinks is right about life and how the church is misleading the world. Using his 'divine' gift to heal, Senet, does his best to show people the way, but he uses his 'demonic' power to force them to see his way through fear and force. This is the main 'theme' of the story, and the plot is how he changes to come along and decide what's truly right for humanity and himself.
One of the main things I really want to do is have a very prominent 'darkness' I'm going to have the Devil come up and praise him for disrupting the Church and the harm for humanity and have the angel on the other shoulder, so to speak, be a Seraphim that chastises Senet for disobeying 'God' and after a few encounters the Seraphim attempts to smite Senet and he shows the angel that even the most holy of creatures can have the wrong ideals if they've been misled; he ends up turning the Angel mortal so that it can atone for its sins to regain its place with God.
I think it has major potential and I really want to do it. If you have an aversion to the ideas I'm going to portray in the story, please tell me so that I can have other views in the story and not bring it up with you to make you uncomfortable or something in any way.
I want to figure out how Senet looks... I have internet photos, if you are old enough to view mature images ask and I'll link you to the photo section so you can pick the images that you think best look like Senet in a mix and match sort of way.

DO NOT MASTURBATE

That's what one of the warning signs in the bathroom reads... I'm pretty sure it's a joke, but on the off chance it isn't, I think it's really funny. Apparently it's against the student code of conduct (if it's true); however, if that is true, the conduct code directly violates human rights. Apart from that it's also funny that it's simply because the drains in the showers can't handle the semen... LOL! Semen has an aqueous form in water (sorry for science) and can easily break down in a slightly acidic environment, it should have no ability to congeal in chlorinated water (yay organic substances) and should have little effect on the pipes versus the acidic water.
The bold content reads: Masturbate in your room. Can it get any funnier?
Yes, it can!
The last sentence says that if you are caught masturbating in the shower you will be brought in front of the judicial review board. I'm not sure that anyone is going to check who is and isn't masturbating in the shower. I really want it to be true because that makes it that much funnier.

The Forests of Rain (RP)
Posted 14 years agoIn the Galu Forests of Rain our story begins. Mysterious Organizations have hired their own heroes to bring back an artifact that has been located within the wetlands deep within the heart of the Galu Empire. While the rain scarcely stops falling and the sun scarcely shines, the old forest stands tall and proud; its native peoples are at peace with their forests and are normally peaceful, they take unkindly to strangers seeking to steal their secrets!
You are a champion of one of these organizations, your goal is to secure the World's Heart as the artifact is known, but the many trials that lay before you are perilous indeed.
You get magic and whatever 'weaponry' you can create (nothing better than simple pistols, however, sorry; almost all melee is acceptable, though.)
Remember, the goal is to have fun and be creative!
You are a champion of one of these organizations, your goal is to secure the World's Heart as the artifact is known, but the many trials that lay before you are perilous indeed.

The After lands
Posted 15 years agoWalking to the corner store a while ago I thought of a wonderful storyline, but I didn't have any idea what to do with it at the time. Now I know; I want to make it into something my friends and I can do together! I don't care how well you write, I just want us to have a little fun. I haven't worked out how to really do this yet, but until then we can just use this journal or what-not. So, here is the introduction to the world I've created for the setting:
A thousand years ago the event known as the culling happened when humanity found a mysterious gate buried in the cliffs of Ireland. They moved the object to the capital city set up by the current hegemony. After they accidentally activated the artifact they discovered a world torn by war, each race factioned in an attempt for salvation. Humanity gained many uncertain allies and enemies when they traversed through the gate in attempt to procure the knowledge and understanding of the beings beyond what they learned to be an object known as the Faer's Gate. This gateway links the two worlds through an unknown fashion. It trapped the refugees that went to either end of the gate when it closed that fateful day so long ago.
Now on a dying Earth, peoples group together for a last glimmer of life. As the world enters into a war that has no seaming end there is a small speck of hope, it's rumored that the gate somehow reopened and that the world on the other side has the salvation humanity is searching for. In the ruins of the Hegemony and its capital lies a desolate wasteland and the Faer's Gate. You, being one of the survivors of the never ending war are drawn to the possibility of escape.
What's your path is uncertain; what's your purpose and past, only you can tell. Now is the time to make history, will you find the gate and secure the last vestiges of humanity or destroy all hope there can possibly be. Nothing is certain in this time of the After Lands.
Let's make it kind of interesting... we'll add magic and guns, crazy people with swords, evil haunted springs and anything else we want to add. THERE IS NO (REAL) LIMIT!
