Just a quick update
I was given two, out of nowhere, short-due projects right when my previous one - the one that messed up my November-December plans - concluded. This leaves me much less time and energy to work on comms sadly. :c
I do plan to work overtime this weekend to catch up a bit, but the next two weeks will likely be a little silent from my end.
Hopefully, once these new works are over, I'll be able to focus on art more agains,

Just wanted to give a little poke to the peeps waiting for comms - and my watchers looking for more pics - about the arting suddenly slowing down.
Right after I selected and announced the slots for the doodley comms, I was told at my IRL job that the project I'm working on actually had a close deadline ... while they told me to 'take your time' a few days before. So yeah, the last two weeks were busy with long work days to meet the deadline, with little energy or art mojo left for drawingings
Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with both comms and work next week! Sorry for the wait ;-;

Near future
Another thing I'd like to note is that I've hit 5000 watchers a couple of days ago ;W;

Major Commission Changes

I've been thinking about the way I balance work and do commissions for some time now. With how things are IRL at the moment, I have come to the conclusion that I should focus slightly more on art than my IRL jobs, being animation and teaching. So far, pretty much every art block or dry season I have had was caused because of work-related stress catching up to me, draining my mojo and energies for art, resulting in loop of poor productivity.
In order to allow for proper prioritization of arts over other things, I have realized that a reform and rework of how I do commissions is now absolutely necessary.
This means that I will be dedicating myself to the following changes:
- Standardization on what commission types I offer customers.
- Adjusted commission prices to better reflect quality and time spent.
I'm not opening for commissions yet - though I am thinking of taking two small 'Doodley' type comms next week.
This update is being put out here now so that people can have an opportunity to see these changes coming - well before I actually open any new commissions.
(Of course, these won't affect the commissions in queue right now, only the future openings!)

Just writing this small* journal to keep you up to date with what is going on behind the scenes.
For a little while now I've been falling behind with interacting on FA; replying to comments late, missing shouts altogether, or even browsing for new arts toenvy favourite. The only thing I do is upload finished works, which is of course a main point of this profile, but it isn't the only thing I aim to do.
The reason for the lack of 'proper' interaction - comments and shouts - isn't the lack of appreciation. - I'm always so happy to see a notification for comment appear - I read them all, it's just I'm not in the mood where I can compose a reply that is worthy of posting ... I often find myself waiting for the right attitude to come so I can properly response, only to see weeks have passed.
Same reason behind the lack of lengthy streams lately; very low on energy to keep focused and keep the stream alive and most important of them all, in good spirits.
The exceptions from these are the notes, where I do my best to put these issues aside and reply in time.
Lately I've been going through a stressful period, as a mix of personal, work- and future plans related issues. Nothing huge on their own, but all together they are a bit overwhelming.
Hopefully these will ease as autumn rolls in.
Sooo ... there's that! Nothing new really, but wanted to come out clean with these things, which I should have done a while ago.
To end this journal on a positive note: After years of hesitation and procrastination, I've overcame my fears and picked up swimming. Been enjoying it a lot and I'm improving quickly as well, soo I'm one step (kick?) closer on the long route of becoming a certified diver. ;-;

Commission payments changing

Been thinking a bit, and I decided go with a few changes regarding how payments are handled for my commissions.
The first one is less impactive; Instead of Euros, I will ask the payment in HUF (Hungarian forint)
This is simply because taxing after non-HUF income is needlessly complicated. This won't affect the prices in a huge way, they'll remain the mostly same, here the only differences are due to the exchange rates. For example, a 100 EUR illustration will cost 32,000 HUF
Second change I will put in the next commission is that I will take payments in advance; before that my general ways of handling a payments were 50% down once the sketch was approved, and another 50% upon completion, but I hardly ever followed my own rules, asking payments when it was completed. Unfortunately, this caused me - still causing- quite a few of headaches, and threw my short-term funding out of the window.
From now on, I'll ask full payment upon sketch approval. Payment plans, if noted in advance - are an option, but you will only receive the illustration once the full payment is down.
I hope you understand these changes

Miniupdate! - Q&A 'n' Commission statuses

Wanted to give some sort of a life sign after poofing for a few weeks again. Had to juggle two, tight-deadlined projects for three weeks, but in the end they were all done in time o3o With these out of the scene, I can focus on arts again!
First of all, thank you everyone for the questions you asked on the Q&A! <33
I want to answer them all, and I already wrote all the answers, as well as sketched up some arts to company them! However, my main focus at the time is to finish all the scuba commissions I've started, and only work on the answers - and other personal pics - to relax a bit or unwind, so they'll take a bit to pop up.

Sorry for the bit of extended silence on my part again, the last couple of weeks weren't too much in favour for real arting.
During the holidays I was tasked to do some finishing touches and minor fixes on the project we've 90% completed, which I finally finished last week. (The fatigue issue got a little better by taking an advice and forcing a new sleep schedule, though!)
This Monday, however, I checked the project sheet again only to see I have to redo pretty much everything because of a major miscommunication. (Basically, I have to do fixes that could have been mentioned 2-3 months ago)
Spent the last two days with doing some of these fixes, and judging by the pace, it should take me a week to get it done .. which means I won't be able to focus on commissions or arting in general .. again. :I
Sorry to be a bummer; I hope I can make up for with arts and .. stuff soon ;3;

2 scuba-themed commisions! [CLOSED]

I've received a nice amount of interest from my scuba pics recently, and since I'm in the vibe these weeks, it seems like a good idea to open up a 2 scuba themed slots!
I will start on working the pic once the current commission of a lovely synth naga is complete - around a week or a little more - but the meantime would be great to gauge the interest and possibly gather your ideas! Please note I will likely not finish before the holidays!
The picture will be:
- underwater (with the preferred setting of the commissioner)
- single character (silhouettes in the background are fine)
- SFW (no nudity, peril nor violence, though they can be armed)

Not much of a breaking news now after posting a couple of pictures, but since I've been more active here again, I figured I should lift the hiatus status and make a new journal entry to dust off this page!
The work projects that kept me busy the most have mostly settled down having passed the preproduction stage and are now in a more predictable production cycle; still keeping me busy, but I can plan ahead little better.
My recent uploads were all older works I left unfinished for months, but the next ones will be fresher.
For personal art, I'd like to focus on Elise, finish her reference sheet and do more slice-of-life pictures to expand on her character a little; as well as continue doing scuba and space themed pictures, as well as trying out different genres, such as fantasy. .3.
I won't be open for comms for a little yet, maybe a single slot in a month or two, as there are some illustration projects I'm involved and I don't want to spread my attention thin.
Thank you for staying around for all these inactive months!
I hope you will like the new uploads and that they'll make up for the wait!

Made this quick little entry to let everyone know I definitely won't be back till early autumn; been busy with animation/preproduction work and doing batch illustrations, and I haven't got much time to work on personal art; I either chipped away from pictures that have been on my plate for months or started a new one only to abandon it once the inks were done, sooo there isn't much to share at this point, but that's not the point.

Hope everyone's doing great
Sorry for falling silent again. What was supposed to be a week-long cease in activity turned out to be a huge clusterphuck of delayed projects, pointless deadlines and changes in roles at work, making time to draw for real - or even attending FA - a bit difficult.
Up until the last two weeks, I haven't been able to draw personal things at all, and even the pictures I managed to work on were left at the ink stage, as colouring doesn't seem to be working out lately, and thus commissions are getting delayed as well a little.
(To help focusing at work, I've been streaming my inking/colouring sessions quite often lately, though these are small, short ones, and I'm not very chatty in them either generally, so I haven't shared these on FA)
By the looks of it, I won't be around much for at least two months (could be more, I can't judge the workload I'm facing at this point), so that top secret personal project will be deffo delayed till next year, - provided it will be still relevant by that time -, and there will be no uploads in the meantime. Though I do hope there will be a batch upload like the one I did earlier this year.
Sorry about this mess again, I really didn't want this year to pass by like this.

Sorry for falling silent again. What was supposed to be a week-long cease in activity turned out to be a huge clusterphuck of delayed projects, pointless deadlines and changes in roles at work, making time to draw for real - or even attending FA - a bit difficult.
Up until the last two weeks, I haven't been able to draw personal things at all, and even the pictures I managed to work on were left at the ink stage, as colouring doesn't seem to be working out lately, and thus commissions are getting delayed as well a little.
(To help focusing at work, I've been streaming my inking/colouring sessions quite often lately, though these are small, short ones, and I'm not very chatty in them either generally, so I haven't shared these on FA)

Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive feedback and kind words on my newest works, it is really encouraging and motivating! <3
I will reply to the comments and shouts I received; I got a huge load of work that needs to be done this week, so I can only sit down to write back to them this weekend.
On a other note, I'd like to thank people for taking such a huge interest in commissions recently. I was shown several really interesting and challenging ideas, and added some to my commission queue, but now it is as long as I can manage. Finishing all of these works will take me several months, - provided everything goes well - so I'd like to ask everyone not to send me any commission inquires until I publicly open new slots.

Sorry I've been silent, the last couple months of 2016 went quite poorly with uncertain animation projects and shitty attitude from producers and financing departments, but hey, it's 2017, let's focus on the future!
I've spent the last couple of weeks - while I was waiting to be able to start working - on finishing some of my, well, unfinished pictures, namely the inks I had laying around waiting to be coloured ... mostly Elise ones, whom I want to develop into a mooore developed character, and with the help of Nimtai - <3 - I've made a huge progress.
While in the next few months I'll be somewhat busy with my job, I'd like to upload on a more regular basis and be a tad more active here, which won't be difficult given I haven't done anything here the last few months. heh. My main focus points will be Elise - I promise there will be a bit of variety - aaand the super cheesy space universe with the snake gals and other silly stuff.
I don't think I'll open up to commissions anytime soon; the last few months I had a reaaaly poor work attitude/lack of motivation for my commissioned works that I genuinely feel embarrassed about them, so until I know I can provide a professional service in arting, I focus on personal works.
Soooooo yeah. I is more active from now I promis.

I finally finished the short animated movie I've worked on for 2 months; It was a 2 minute-long children's animation where I was the only animator/rigger with long-ass scenes featuring up to a dozen characters, so you can imagine the madness.
The next one, which is a 5 min pilot for a reboot of a classic Hungarian animated series from the 80's, with me being the single animator/rigger again - no pressure, yo - will start in December, but tests will have to be made in late November, so yeah, things got cluttered once again in no time. *rips remaining hair our*
In the tincy gap between ... well, right now and December, I'll try rest a little, as it was hectic early autumn, and I can feel physical/mental exhaustion on myself ..
BUT I WILL tackle my commissions, trades/gifts (-3-) .. and hopefully do a personal pic or two - lots are inked, just need colour so that's one big plus

In this one, you need to match what Pokemon your OCs would use, which is a pretty lovely idea, and I've been actually thinking about it a little ... c:
Hokay, given the last Pokemon game I played was Ruby/Sapphire I'm somewhat outdated but will do my best.

Definitely a water type ... something mean and generally unpleasant that optimally looks like a shark ... Sharpedo! Would have gone with Steelix but a rock snake and deep water don't mix ... maybe as a secondary?

Given her hobbies and love for water, I'd she'd have a water type as well, but something not exclusive to it, plus a must have cute factor ... Totodile! Plus they both have red on her heads to that would make a mesh even better. C:
- Zilo -
Ditto; something harmless and awkward looking + beady eyes. Zilo is probably so clueless about training Pokemon that his general attitude would be; "Just do what they do! Thus usually works!"
- Egon - (my sharksona in works)
Since my sona is meh, he would deffo have my fav Pokemon; Scyther, praying mantises with blades, aka the most awesome things ever.
