Major Update regarding the LionGator.
Posted a year agoMmk. So. It's 2024. And I think it's time I admitted to myself that I fucked up. And I need to change.
So. Thinking about it. And thinking about what all I have to do, sadly, I am going to end the PWYW event early.
I realize that I still have owed work to do. Thankfully it is not as heavy a load as it was before. But it's enough that I NEED to focus on it.
I also need to focus on righting some wrongs I've done. I need to refund people and I need to just focus on doing what's owed.
So. Until further notice, my annual PWYW events are on Hiatus. Me opening for commissions is ALSO on Hiatus. And finally, my twitch re-debut is also on Hiatus.
The ONLY STREAMS I will be doing going forward is Owed commissions. I will be tackling my entire backlog list.

And it always bothers me how certain people STILL have the whole elementary school mentality.
You know. The whole "if you are friends with them, then we can't be friends." Mentality.
"Oh well I hate them because A B C, and If I hate them, you have to hate them too. If you don't hate them, because I hate them, we can't be friends."
Its 2023. We are adults. When are people gonna learn than you can't control who others like.
Perfect example. There's a certain deathclaw I USED to be friends with, whom I have mutuals with. That deathclaw hates my guts. They spread shit about me.
And here I am, with those same moots like "I don't care who you like. You and me are cool, and that's all that matters.
It makes me cringe and lose hope in people when the elementary school mentality kicks in. I LIKE person A. I hate Person B. If person C and I are friends, fantastic. If person B and C are friends, more power to them.
I'll be honest in my experiences. But I won't ever be like "we can't be friends cuz your friends with them". You are your own person. You be friends with who you wanna be. As long as we are cool, that's all that matters.

I had planned to do thr graphic above and them sleep so I can stream. Didn't think I'd be on it for 5 hours. So when I dropped, I knew I wouldn't be up in time. I just woke up.
However, I will still stream art today during my down time. So around 8p CST.
AS SOON AS THE STREAM STARTS, I WILL DRAW 3 NAMES. the stream will be short. Like. 3.5 hours. And to make up for today's lack of stream, I will add a day yo the end of the event. So event ends on 1/3/24 now.
See you at 8pm

I want to continue to be transparent in my upload schedule and where I upload. A while ago, I had stated that I will be uploading art here 2 weeks AFTER I uploaded it to patreon.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized the following.
1. Sites like Kemono(dot)party will just make my pieces readily accessible to the masses. So it makes my uploading schedule moot.
2. It STILL feels like I am paywalling, which, to me, I don't like.
3. It means I have to spread myself more to upload everywhere.
So. To mitigate all this. Here is what's happening. On Saturday, the 21st of October, i will be doing a MASSIVE art dump here. I will be uploading to the following places, ALL AT ONCE.

As of Today (9/29/2023), The current owner of X, formerly known as Twitter, has decided that any Media, posts, DM, and Biometric data that is shared/posted there is giving automatic consent to use when training AI generated programs. What this means is if you have any content on Twitter/X posted after today, they can use those posts to create AI generated programs/Media they can give to any partner that X wishes to give to. as most of you know My birthday is in 6 days. My move is in 8 days. And after totalling all my bills, i dont need much anymore. You guys helped me when i needed it, and all thats happening to me now, is because of you. my recovery is because of you. and i thank you for it. Normally i want games, art, or money for my bday. this year. All i want is security. knowing that My roommate, boyfriend, fiancé and I will have little to no financial trouble is my big goal here. so im doing all this, to make sure my home and future plans are cared for.
I do plan to release more pokemon adopts because its so much fun coming up with ideas of how they will look! and i have plans for those that may even seem unorthodox! haha. Imagine. a Buff af Magneton XD.
but yeah. Im doing these adopts, not only to raise the little money i need for my bills, but to ensure the house that i live in, and those who live with me, are safe, and without worry. to me, thats the best Birthday gift i could ever give myself.

as most of you know My birthday is in 6 days. My move is in 8 days. And after totalling all my bills, i dont need much anymore. You guys helped me when i needed it, and all thats happening to me now, is because of you. my recovery is because of you. and i thank you for it. These Pokemon adopts, and the Batch 3 that will be inevitable is so i can make a comfortable cushion for future plans.

ANSWER: Yes. As long as it doesn't go to normal colors, you can make the shiny WHATEVER color you want!

To help ease those worried about me cuz of my last post.
Posted 2 years agoI want yall to know. Im ok. What I'm doing is just focusing on my debts I let pile up. I thought me working a standard 40 hours/5 days a week would be ok as I can use my art to catch up on my bills.
However, that's not the case.
$940 - 2 months behind on car payment
$1545 - rent for July at New place
$600-$700 - rent for old place as we leave on 7/14.
$400 - electric bill as I've fallen behind 2 months due to moving costs saving
$1080 - appliances for the new place
$630 - bank negative for 2 months, in danger of being closed if I can't get $424 by 6/24
I'm also handling refunds for those I've made promises to, whom have gone above and beyond understanding my issues going and are giving me time to fix all my issues. Yall are amazing and I can't thank you enough.
I have to give up streaming and go back to 12 hr/7 day work weeks just to catch up.
Yeah. I'm disappointed. But I'm not mad/sad/in danger. I just need to be an adult, understand my art isn't cutting it anymore, and focus on what I need to, to make money. I'll draw off camera and work on commissions over time. I just can't do my hobby based stuff until those bills are all handled and cared for, and i refuse to ask for help and take on more work.
It's also why I forcibly closed my pride commissions. They weren't selling. I sold all the muscle ones, and 1 chub bear/muscle bear one at the start of thr month. Since then, nothing. So I'm just coming to terms. That's all.
So I'm fine. I'm just being an adult
Hopefully that puts yall at ease. Or well... calms yall down enough to know I'm ok.

The future of the LionGator. (IMPORTANT)

So I'm going to get straight to it. With the exception of my birthday week and Christmas week, I don't know when I'll be back to regular streams. The issue that happened last week that caused me to pull double shifts at work, as well as the little help I got towards my moving, fueled by how little traction my pride pieces got, has finally made me realize that my reputation is still bad with people, and that my art is no longer viable as an income source.
With this realization comes another. That I have to start going back to my 12 hour days/7days a week work schedule which means I'm not going To be streaming for a long while. I'll still be drawing. But I won't be live anymore.
No one buys my art anymore, and for valid reason. My turnaround time is shit. I still owe poeple and while I'm projected to finish in 2024, i should have finished already. I can't use my art to get what I need anymore.
So. I'm gonna go back to my workaholic mode, pick up shifts and do more work, draw 1her3 and when in can, and maybe when my bills are caught up, and I'm not behind on anything. I'll come back to streaming.
I'm 2 months behind on my car payment
I'm $630 in the red in my bank account. And it's in danger of being closed down.
I'm $400 behind on my power bill
I need a little over $3k for my marriage.
My credit is tanked.
I'm still paying off people I owe.
I'm not having a good time right now. Drawing and streaming are just not feasible anymore.
I have to sacrifice my art and joys to fix this. And I'm tired of asking for help. And I don't want to take on any work anymore. That's what caused my reputation and credibility to tank. Taking on more and more and not getting anything done.
So yeah. No more streams from me in the foreseeable future. I've to much to do and I need to work. I'll make sure you guys know I'm safe and alive. But until I've caught up on my bills and am comfortable again, this is how it has to be.
Also. Let me add.
I am ok. I'm not mad. I'm more disappointed in myself for not being able to get a better grasp on my balance. I thought I was for a bit, but I have more work to do.
I do hope thay I'll come back strong and balanced.
But all in all I am fine.
