Wow It's Been a While... Plus Free Sketches!
Posted 10 years agoI can't believe I haven't written a journal since I turned 21 (which, by the way, no I did not get drunk)... Considering next Tuesday is my 25th birthday, that's a while. A lot of things have changed in my life, but that's a whole can of boring nobody needs to open up, heheh. The two most important things in this journal are I'm back to drawing, and I've gotten myself a new tablet. One I can actually see what I'm drawing on and draw like I'm working with real paper. Woohoo! It should be here tomorrow some time and I'm so excited!!!!
So, in honor of my early birthday present to myself, I have decided to have a hobbit birthday and give a little ;) I'm opening up five free colored sketches (Like this, but better since I'm not coloring with my finger http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17517911/). SFW only please. Keep in mind I'm used to drawing feral, so anthro will probably take me a little longer... it's the hands. They're little, wiggly, wormy thingies I can't seem to pin down without hours of tweeking. Grrrr.

Posted 14 years agoI turned 21 today. My boy has already mixed me up stuff and I'm only dizzy from the clogged left ear I've had for two days. I feel accomplished. I'm sure that will die by the end of the evening. ;D
Graphic Novels and Edits!
Posted 14 years agoWell, some of you may have noticed that I have been uploading a graphic novel lately, this novel is Theroside. It's about a bunch of superdogs with the minds and consciousnesses of human beings. They get to fight some anthro "bad guys." It's a story that pushes the idea of what it is to be human. do the writing for this story, not the art. On another note, I will be doing some rewrites for Prison Gyre/also renaming it to just Heart Attack or some other prefix. I'm actually desiging out the kennel now, so yay.

Yarn Tail Sales!
Posted 15 years agoYes, those beautiful yarn tails that people have been seeing around and loving so much, well I make them too and since I'm poor, like really poor, I figured I might as well offer commissions. I also have access to rabbit wool/yarn and can make tails ridiculously soft and in any color. Not only does my family raise Angora Rabbits, but we also have a couple of Angora Goats(sadly the goat fur won't be ready until next summer).
If you'd like to request an extra soft tail (rabbit wool) or a goat wool tail, please let me know ahead of time. The only drawback to softer tails is that they get tangles and mat up far more easily than other tails. But, they feel soooooo awesome.
I can also add things like feathers and beads, and even scents to your tail for free. Just know that feathers may get damaged over time and the scents (which will be applied through the use of essential oils) will fade eventually. If you'd like your tail put on a belt (though they can normally be worn easily without one) this will cost extra either because I have to buy a belt or because you'll have to pay shipping to send me the belt you want it put on (Yeah, that's right, you can send me your favorite belt or your character's belt and I can put a tail on it fer ya). Also let me know if you want it on a belt more than an inch wide. How much this increases the price will depend on the size and style of the belt (aka how much the dang belt costs).
For now I'm only taking 5 slots because I'm pressed for time. Half of payment is due upfront, the other half once you see and approve of the the finished product. This will be done through photos. Once you've approved of the tail and sent the final payment, I will send you your tail. There is a $5 dollar shipping fee to ship to any US state. $10 to ship international.
With every final purchase, you will receive a brush for the tail and lifetime support should you have a problem or the tail looses some of its fluff. I can refill a tail for you should it become old and less fluffy or replace matted fur should such a thing happen. A refund can be given at any time before the tail has been shipped out to you.

Heart Attack!
Posted 15 years agoWell dang, I finally started submitting stuff and what do I submit? That's right, I submit a story instead of art. Heheh. I suppose I should tell you about it though.
Well Prison Gyre: Heart Attack is the first in a five book series I'm planning out and writing. It follows the story of Brandi Coals, a young werewolf who has been captured by a very nasty secret organization that brainwashes werewolves and uses them as their own personal attack dogs. Naturally, Brandi manages to somehow remain at least partially not brainwashed (although she's far from normal, if she ever was).
Somewhere along the line, she has a dream about a dragon she bought on Ebay once (if you don't think they sell them there I suggest you go look...mostly it's a scam, but it makes for an awesome book idea). Said dragon and her become very tightly bonded, so tightly in fact that the dragon's soul merges with her own and helps her escape her predicament. After that, who knows what crazy adventures they could get into?
I only have two things to say. It always ends the way it begins; it must, and Yates was right.
...Damn you old philosophers! Damn you!

On a side note, all of those who might be waiting for the next pages of Theroside, I am sorry to say it will be another couple of weeks. Financial issues have halted production. AKA I became broke because of school books and am almost done working for enough money to get the new pages done between school and what little of a social life I have.

Posted 15 years agoGood news everyone! The graphic novel Theroside is finally in production! Actually, very few of you even knew it existed. In fact, only those who were approached to work on it and those who actually have been working on it are likely to remember its existence. No matter, we’ve got a few pages in well enough shape to show you now.
Theroside is a graphic novel about about four individuals who joined a program run by an ex-military man. This program, as it turns out, was created for the sole purpose of taking their consciousness’s and downloading them into the minds of genetically altered dogs. Suddenly they have four legs, eat the highest quality kibble, and …have super powers?
Okay…so it wasn’t what they’d expected when they signed nondisclosure contracts, but now they’re in and they’re in for good (or until their dog bodies grow older that is). Of course, they’re too busy fighting ferocious furries to realize that they can never go back, to realize that their own boss is the real bad guy.
At the moment, the project is still in a decently early stage. Sure, the writing is being tweaked, some pages are almost complete and a story-line has been decided on, but all of this waits on publishers. For now, we’ll be doing twelve pages to send to the publishers. If the book gets accepted, then we go ahead with the rest, if not, well damn. Right now, we need all the support you can give us. With any luck, this will turn into a fully realized project with all the bells and whistles, but for now, what we have shall be here (http://tgn-theroside.deviantart.com/) for your entertainment. Enjoy!
