"The first 10 artists who comment on this journal will be featured here, along with three deviation chosen from their gallery by myself!
If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, completing the list with 10 other people.
The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.
And oh, how I love spreading art! >;D

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5619051/ I believe the first stream of Kathy-Lu's I visited was the one where she was drawing this picture. The colors and shadows are wonderful.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4904747/ I'm kinda a suckers for holiday themed pictures. Once again, I love the colors as well as the outfit design.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4204971/ What can I say, I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff.

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5686981/ This kind of stuff I find cool. Bead stuff is very interesting. You can make damn near anything... if you know what you're doing.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5950602/ Come on, it's Portal stuff! What's not to like?
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4941958/ As I've said before, I'm a sucker for a good holiday picture. The colors and shading are great.

Sooo... I'm Moving =3
Posted 14 years agoYep, finally found a nice little apartment for my girlfriend and I to share together. So, not that anyone will notice really, I'll be disappearing from the internet for a week or 2 while we get moved in, so hopefully I'll be back soon.
So... Sewing...
Posted 14 years agoI seem to be operating my mother's sewing machine pretty well nowadays... not sure if anything will come of it, but I at least want to try making a plush Bob-Omb, so... not sure if or when I may start, but keep a look out... =3
Umm... I have a medical question... if anyone can help...
Posted 14 years agoHas anyone here had Appendicitis or know someone who has? What is the most common symptoms of it? How much does it cost to get the Appendix removed?
The reason I ask is I think I may have it. I'm not completely certain, but it makes the most sense to me. It used to be that I thought this moderate to severe belly pain was just me not being able to digest certain food, but yesterday I hadn't eaten anything that would cause the painful reaction and I also had a fever which doesn't usually happen.
I'm just a bit concerned about it. I'm not insured and would like to be sure that's the problem before having to pay a lifetime of medical debt for something...

Just a little news...
Posted 14 years ago... Nothing art related sadly. Been too busy, but it should even out soon. Shortly I'll be transfered to daytime shift at KFC, which means full time hours instead of the part time hours I'm on now which will really help out when my girlfriend and I find a place together =3
Why I don't Like my Job
Posted 14 years agoJust a little vent-journal. Nothing to get worked up about really. Mostly just annoyances that come with my job.
1. The handling of raw chicken. Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a little bit of OCD about keeping my hands clean. Even if they are clean, it sometimes feels like I still have the chicken "juice" on my hands. Aside from the the hands thing, the breading process can fling said chicken "juice" into ones face, eyes, or mouth... disgusting
2. The day-by-day mangling of my drawing hand. If you were to look at my dominate hand (my right hand) you can easily see a great many sores, scrapes, and inflamed marks across the skin. For the most part, these are hot oil burns. They are unpleasant to say the least. Next are the hot metal burns. These ones are more tolerable for the most part, but I usually have the luck to get them in more sensitive areas like the under part of my upper arm or , on one occasion, the crook of my elbow. Then come scrapes, or what my girlfriend calls "chicken bites". Pretty common, they come from the sharp edges of bone when I'm breading the pieces. Lastly there are the cuts. I don't get these often, but for the most part they come from various metal containers during cleaning. These are annoying because If I do cut myself, I have to go get a bandage. Problem is the bandages suck. They aren't waterproof which poses a problem between when I have to wash my hands or do dishes. They don't even have enough adhesive on them to securely adhere the first time. Seems like something they really shouldn't be scrimping on is all I'm saying... Another thing. Sometimes I have a stinging, tingling type pain in my hands that make it difficult to move, so I might be developing arthritis.
3. The commute to and from work. Not directly caused by my work, but still somewhat of a problem to me. I live about 3 miles from my place of work. Doesn't sound like much of a problem? Well I bike to work... rain or shine... freezing cold or scorching heat. Not only that, but because I work late hours it can also be dangerous since I have to bike on the side of a busy highway. I'm probably inches away from getting hit by a car on a daily basis.
4. The other injuries than occur. Some of these are quite common, some of these are... quite unusual. One thing they didn't tell me about the job before I got it was that there would be heavy lifting... well, not necessarily heavy. More like awkward lifting, like lifting a container of hot oil starting at chest level and bringing it up to shoulder level without burning myself. Doesn't sound like much of a problem, but I don't have a lot of upper body strength, so the tasks can be difficult and I sometimes end of struggling or hurting myself in the process, especially my back. Another thing is the burning... of my feet. Sounds unusual or impossible? Ever operated a Bunn? It's a machine that spews out scolding hot water. I use it for cleaning the floors and prep tables. The water often spills off the tables onto my shoes. At this time, I'd be wishing they were waterproof, but they aren't. The water soaks into my shoes and I'm forced to tolerate the burning til it subsides.
So yeah, there's plenty more gripes I have with this job, but it's late and I'm tired.

Search My Gallery! =3
Posted 14 years agoI have a great many characters in my gallery, though recently I've taking a liking to Eden the pregnant tigress. She's such a cute character =3
... But this isn't about me, this is about you! I want to hear from you guys! Browse my gallery, tell me which characters you like and why! It'll help me decide what characters I need to draw more of!
... One thing though. Don't pick any of the fanart stuff. I know everyone loves the bob-ombs and all, but I want to hear about the original characters X3

My sister-in-law asked for a design from me and I drew her up one... and the next thing I know, I see a photo with my design tattooed on her ankle...
... I guess I'm officially a tattoo designer XD
... In other news, I preordered my copy of Pokemon White today... I can't wait =3

Bob-Ombs... CONCLUSION!!!
Posted 15 years agoYou remember the ones I was talking about right? These little guys right here?
Remember how I said I was building an army of them? Well, seems the dollar stare place I got them at couldn't supply me with the entire 100 I was looking for...
Okay, so no army, but I was able to get a nice sized platoon of 25 which I will take pictures of... when I unwrap and eat their candy innards that is X3

Just a Couple of Questions...
Posted 15 years agoNothing too complicated, just a little artist survey. I want to hear from my watchers a bit. I can take constructive criticism and it would be much appreciated if I could get your honest opinions =3
1. What made you want to watch me?
2. What piece do you like the most and why?
3. What piece do you dislike the most and why?
4. What aspects of my art do you think I need to improve?
5. What do you want to see more of?
6. What do you want to see less of?
7. What kind of stuff would you like to see me try to draw?
Also, a couple for the few those who have commissioned me
8. What is your opinion on my commission prices?
9. Have you been satisfied with my work?

Ummm... Did I fail to mention...
Posted 15 years ago... that Saturday is my birthday? XD
Slipped my mind a bit. Been so busy with work X3
So, yeah... I turn 25 on the 8th and surprisingly I don't feel terribly old like I have on previous birthdays... curious...
Anyway, just thought I'd mention that before going back to playing Fallout New Vegas =3

WALMART... FUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
Posted 15 years agoSo... I got some Walmart giftcards for Xmas and I thought to myself "Since it's cheaper to order Fallout NV from the site, I'd just do that instead of waiting for Fallout NV to get in stock again and pay an extra $10 on top of the giftcards" but I feel kinda stupid about them getting the game in stock the DAY AFTER I ORDER IT! Not only that, I HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK FOR IT TO SHIP TO THE STORE TO PICK IT UP! That is retardation. You have copies of the game! Give me one of those instead having me wait you bitches!
That's part 1. Part entails me seeing that Redbox finally had a copy of Fallout NV in to rent... the Redbox in Walmart... now it's just toying with me. Then later... I go to Best Buy cause my girlfriend and I were nearby and we see the game... FOR $35!!! Seriously, now you stores are just being sadistic! IU want to nerd rage!

Bob-Ombs...
Posted 15 years ago... But not the kind I draw X3
No, I speak of these ones.
These little candy containers are awesome. What's even more awesome... I found that they sell them at my local $1 store...
Needless to say... I am building an army. Little by little my army grows bigger... so far, I have 9 of them >=3
I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing with them yet. I considered maybe painting and customizing them for my amusement =3
Another idea was to customize them and pose them for photo based comics =3

Posted 15 years agoYeah... I guess I'm not doing the holiday pinups this year. I just don't have the time to spare. The only thing I've drawn recently was a design I'm going to put on a shirt for my girlfriend. I'll probably post the design later since she doesn't go into either my DA or FA to look at my arts X3
About the Holiday Pinups...
Posted 15 years agoI'm not sure I'll be doing them yet or not. I haven't chosen any models, nor have I really been looking for any.
Honestly, it's hard to find time between work and other life stuff. Also, I haven't had any real drive to draw lately. It's probably the season.
Cold, wet, rainy weather makes me a bit... depressed I guess? I'm not sure exactly how to describe it.
Anyway, still on the fence about the Holiday Pinups. I'll keep everyone updated as a sift through my thoughts...

Holiday Pinups '10! MODELS STILL WANTED!!!
Posted 15 years agoWell... here we are, the deadline for this is in 2 days and I have not received anymore suggestions for models... Honestly, if there's no real interest in this maybe I should just skip doing this in the future... I don't know. I really like doing some nice free art for a couple people, but at the same time it's like if it can't be their character, then no other character should either. FOR F*CKS SAKE! The whole point of this is to get into the holiday spirit and to think about someone else before yourselves... at least that's what it seems like to me at times -_-
So let's try this again, same rule as before: Only suggest other people's characters. YOU CAN NOT SUGGEST YOURSELF OR YOUR OWN CHARACTERS!
As usual, there is only 3 slots for these Holiday Pinups. HOWEVER... unlike the previous years that have been female only, I've decided to open up suggestions for male pinups as well.
So get out there and find me some models! Deadline for suggestions is December 1st!

MY LEGS ARE ON FIRE!!!
Posted 15 years agoYeah... so I ride my bike on the freeway to work. There is often broken glass and whatnot, so I figured I'd get better tubes since mine are failing.
So, I see these Bell No-Mor Flats solid inner tubes at Walmart and think "Those would certainly save me the trouble of carrying my tire pump everywhere I ride"
So I bought one for my back tire to test it out and... DAMN! It makes my bike sooooooo damn sluggish, like biking through sand! After trying it, I'm considering taking it back and just getting the super thick Slime tubes instead. The ease of riding would probably be worth carrying around the tire pump... so tired...

Busy, Busy, Busy...
Posted 15 years agoBeen sooooo busy lately with work and whatnot. I've hardly had time to work on any drawings.
I'm currently working on a little bit of a personal picture. Nothing too personal, just something of an interesting idea regarding my own fursona.
Also, I still do plan to do the Holiday Pinups this year, I'm just not opening up the suggestions till December. So to all my watchers, get some suggestion in mind.
Other than those little tidbits... nothing else to report.

So, yeah... Work...
Posted 15 years agoFirst week of my probationary period over for working at KFC, one more week to go. I have a good feeling I'll make the cut, but you never know. I still have another week before I know if I get to keep the job or not.
So far it's been going fairly well. I've gotten all the cooking methods pretty much down. The next few shifts will be teaching me about the closing procedures since I'll be filling the spot of night cook or closing cook... not sure what my actually title is.

So Did I have Enough Luck with me Today?
Posted 15 years agoThe answer would be... HELLZ YEAH!
I'm currently on a 2 week probationary period, but I pretty much have the job! Thanks for all the luck guys! =D

So... Commissions?
Posted 15 years agoI was thinking of dropping the prices back down to $5 for full digital ink/color/shading and taking a few commissions.
So the question to you my watchers... who would seriously be interested in a commission from me?
... Also, what would you like to see from me? I was thinking maybe more holiday stuff like what I usually do with the Holiday Pinups I draw around December, but more year round. Would anyone be interested in a Halloween themed pinup or something along those lines?
