For those of you paying attention to me you may have noticed that I haven't been updating as much as usually would. A few of you know most of my time has been spent looking for steady work with very little success.

Well... that's not the only thing thats been keeping me away from my sketchbooks and tablet. I've been dating someone for a few months now and no, I'm not blaming her for my current lack of time to draw. She makes me very happy and do enjoy the what little time I get to spend with her.

Unfortunately, about 2 weeks ago her mother passed away and it has been very emotionally taxing on both of us. I have to be there for her at this time, so you guys will have to wait a little while for new pictures.

Yeah, I went to the local county fair with my girlfriend on Wednesday and walked around for a few hours for her birthday.

One of the interesting things I saw was an exotic animal exhibit. I saw a Bengal Tiger cub, a Barbary Lion cub, a Serval, a couple Caracals, a Bobcat, several different snakes, lizards, and a couple spiders.

The one my girlfriend liked the most was a big tortoise cause she loves turtles. So much so, I had won several turtles for her from the carnival games and bought a couple glass figurines of turtles.

It was a good day =3

Gawd I'm tired of this! I want this week to end already! I have been busting my ass trying to find work. I have something like 20 job applications out there waiting for an answer.

I'm just hoping 1 will come through. I had to walk like 4 miles down the highway in 90+ degree weather to fill out those apps and I don't want it to be a futile cause...

Well, just over 2 weeks and the innitial symptoms of Mono have finally subsided. That was quite easily the worst thing I've ever had happen to my body. Thank Gawd it's over.

In the world of Pokemon (manga, games, anime, etc.) the people eat food like you would expect people to eat. Burgers, stew, sandwiches, etc.

Now here's something to think about. The people in the Pokemon world eat meat. However, there are never any "normal" animals to be found.

HYPOTHESIS: In the Pokemon world, PEOPLE EAT POKEMON! It's not such a faw stretch considering they already use Miltank for milk production. What's to say that isn't a Tauros tri-tip steak or a bunch of Piloswine spare ribs they're eating?

Also makes you think about the eggs they eat. It sounds like such an awful thing when you think that after you get an egg from the DayCare Man, you just crack it open and fry it up like it's nothing.

CONCLUSION: When it comes to being human in the world of Pokemon, it's best not to take any chances and be a vegetarian.

I'm thinking of doing a art-drive thingy to raise the funds for a new computer since mine is a POS from 12 years ago and is dysfunctional (I swear, it started acting up when I was pricing PCs online, like it knew it's days were numbered)
