Soon after I quit my second job my first job cuts everyone's hours are down to part time, mine practically being cut in half... I am now not making enough to live off of and have to find a second job AGAIN... I'm probably just going to give up pursuing any passion I have at this point... because you apparently have to work like slave to even live comfortably... not gonna blame any one person as its not one persons fault at all but I will say this money gouging crap has to come to a close sometime.... maybe when recession happens.... lets hope when it happens its over and gets fixed quickly.

No I havent disappeared. I'm going to be back soon, waiting the next week for the end of my two weeks for my second job... its not makin me enough money to do anything with except put gas in the tank, and I can do that well enough with my first job.

Were I to make 60 dollars a week in commissions I'd be making more here than I would have made after taxes working kfc.

This is going to require some work but I'll be putting out much more art once I'm back down to one job as I'll have much more free time on my hands... and I probably wontbe feeling like a zombie every time I get home and my requestors and commissioners might be a little happier about the amount of time its taking me to get these images out... First off... monthly raffle? Scrapping it. I dont have time, unfortunately.
As consolation though I will be taking a request or two if I find I like the idea and I have time to work on it, provided the people who have requested them are patient with me.

Second... Streaming? I may do more, if and ONLY if people really want to come see them. as my computer dislikes me drawing and streaming simultaneously.

Trades? I wanna do one or two, but I'm afraid others are concerned about my pace and turnaround rate, which is fairly slow compared to some artists here.

I dont do these often... seriously I dont, but a traditional artist whose work I'm rather fond of is having one of those moments where life's kicking him while hes down. Show him some love, maybe commission him, he's got a special going on, $25 flat rate commissions. So if you want the works in traditional style for less than you might normally pay from a great artist, it might be a good idea to give him a look.

I'm starting to feel I dont need to call them that, theyre just characters now to me... sure they both have bits of my personality in them, but I think I'm stepping away from the idea of calling Malik or Nuaha my fursonas... so as of today I am without one, until I can create one that I think will fit me.

This took a lot of thought as I had been mulling over it for a month or so now and just noticing things that have changed in me and for me.

This may be a good thing, I am now more comfortable with having them do some things out of character I suppose.

So I got some quotes today... Airbags alone are gonna cost me about $1000... like $987 by themselves... I discovered justn ow that the hood is dented to the point the latch for it cant release either, so I need a new hood... that plus a new latch is up to $300, getting a new light for the front drivers side of the vehicle is about $200... 180-something.

Grand total of probably more than $1500 dollars right there... fun stuff. and I thought I was gonna pay off my credit card bill with my taxes this year.... I doubt I'm even getting enough back to cover this either. So I'll be a while without a car.... cant be helped.

What bothers me is I remember it so vividly.

It was kind of a high school setting. There was me abd a couple of other people, I'm assuming friends as I was joking around with them. They were nerdy kids with glasses, gamers and such. My kinda people. we wore regular clothes and such and we were part of our own little clique. So I have to go... run into one of the cooler guys at school, he was dressed in black leather from head to toe... like biker gear. He mostly ignored me when I tried to speak to him...

But then the next day I run into him, and we both hear somethings happened at the school and so we both are racing... for whatever reason to get there. I do my best to show off as I do, and my car flies so its much better than his. He gets ahead of me, hes a good driver, I'm decent, but I beat him there just barely cause my car could fly. He didnt seem mad about it, shrugged it off and we walked into the school together. Whatever conflict there was was forgotten about and there didnt seem to be any sort of commotion. So we went to the cafeteria and the biker sat with me and my nerdy friends, and we were laughing and joking.

A guy from another clique or group come up to me and invites me to their group... he looked like one of my high school associates, I could name him here but I wont. He and his gang were all wearing red outfits that glittered when exposed to light. They were also the cool kids. My nerdy friends urged me to go so that maybe they could get in as well so I went...me clothes changed immediately to match theirs. After lunch and hanging out with them a bit we came across this one guy... they beat the tar outta him for some reason that was unknown to me. They wanted me to kill him. I asked them why, they said just do it. Then I told them we didnt need to kill him, we could all just be friends, why dont we let him go? What did he do? That wasnt any of my business. So I asked then what we're fighting each other for anyway? Cant we just get along? I spread my arms to welcome the guy they beat up into them... but the leader of the clique stepped in front of him with a knife... he shanked me... I woke up as I was dying.

Totalled my car cause of ice in the road... was going slow but apparently not slow enough... 25 mps where speed limit was 35. Hit a pole. I'm okay worst that happened to me is a bit my tonguie slightly. Both airbags deployed though, front and passenger... usually = total considering how old the car is and how much it would be to get new bags.

I'm gonna have to do a lot more praying it seems.

Soon as the ball dropped... soon as I clocked in for work... I had to pick up the phone and call the paramedics. A guy who frequented the local truck stop where I now work graveyards somehow busted the entire left side of his face open in the concrete just outside the main store entrance.

We suspect he was doped up, AND drunk. Found a half a bottle of liquor on him and as i was cleaning the restrooms for the first time for the day I nearly stuck myself on a needle that was in the garbage.

Blood everywhere, on his hand all over his face on his jacket... I'm not sure if he felt it... he acted as if everything was okay aside from the him being inebriated.

Hoping he's alright but I'm gonna pray for this guy... just a horrible way to start the new year.

So yeah I spent the night working instead of getting drunk and partying... oh well.

I dont think this is any indication as to how the rest of my year is going to be, I still think 2013... which I have dubbed "My Year." Is still going to be a good one.

I'm taking this as getting the bad things out of the way before its time for the good to start showing up.

Things have been rough these past couple of months. Everything's pretty slow and whatnot, so I've decided to find a second job... I started it yesterday, and now that I have it, I will have even less time to work on art than usual while keeping up with everything else I'd like to keep up with. I'll try to find time to work on everything on my off days but, just letting everyone know things will be slowing down even more than they have... I do wish I was a faster artist but circumstances havent allowed me to sit down and actually practice much...
