I have been absent for too long.
I need to start back up and become motivated again.

I have moved, I am crazy broke, and am getting cheated for hours at work.
I need to get back to work on my art.

I apologize in advance for such an absence!
I have reasons though (and pretty good ones imho >3>)
Recently I was offered a promotion at work to become an assistant manager
and I was then forced to speed up my training due to the temp assistant
creating drama and rage quitting. I have been working more hours on longer
shifts earlier in the day (meaning 4am ~u~") so needless to say, I am beat.
I am confident though, once I get used to the schedule change I will be on
more and posting waaaaay more often.
In other news, the adopt I made will be moved to my scraps for a low AB
price for anyone interested. I am a little bummed that no one liked her,
but what are you gunna do? *shrugs* If you are interested please PM me!
As well, the raffle is officially ended, and I will be picking the winners in the
upcoming week. I will be checking to see who followed me and who may have
ducked out. Remember all winners must be watching me. If I see that you
have removed your watch, you will be automatically disqualified.

Hairless Rat Names! (And other fuzzy updates)

So~!
Figured I would update you guys on my babies, because they
truly are my children and I love them they are sooo cute-
*ahem*
My baby Mika[can be seen here] is getting spayed this weekend.
I am both nervous and excited for her, just because I know she
will feel better once it is done. I highly trust the vet that is operating
on her, and the facility as well as the workers are phenomenal.
I first took Mika there on an emergency when NO ONE else would
take her. I was short on cash because it was two days before pay
and everyone wanted over 700 dollars before they would see her.
Finally I take her to this little vet clinic in a cozy log cabin themed
building, and they take her right in, no questions asked. They didn't
even want to talk about billing until they made sure Mika was okay.
If there was anywhere that housed angels who tended to animals, it
would be there.
Anywho, I took her out and got her a new lead and collar, tags, and
some yummy treats that are good on her teeth. She truly is the sweetest
lil pup. <3 I am so glad she found me.
Annnnnd...
On to the newest edition to the family~! This past weekend I finally
plucked up the courage to get the pet I have always wanted, a
hairless rat. I have owned a fancy rat before, but I didn't not expect
him to be so tiny, friendly, and cuddly. The same day I brought him
home he was completely content with curling up at my neck or in my
pocket, and he is not flighty at all. I am so happy I can have the joy
of him in my life.
He also looks like a little old man. x3
He is not technically a full hairless, meaning he has tufts of fur on
certain points of his body. His fur is a dusty grey, and between tufts
of that on his face and his little skin wrinkles, he looks like a little old
man, and it is the cutest goddamn thing. I cannot get over the cute.
Lastly! If you would like to suggest a name below, I would love some ideas.
NO:
-Japanese names
-stereotypical human names (jeff, steve)
-offensive names
-Try to keep it short and sweet. (I plan to train him, and the shorter, the better.)
YES:
-Harry Potter themed names
-Deity/Pagan themed names
-Names with one or two syllables

As some of you may already know, I have been fighting a long,
hard battle with my cable company about my internet service.
They want me to pay without them providing a service, and then
threw a hissy fit when I said that was unfair. >:c

Unfortunately due to the horribly crummy weather here I have been battling extra call ins for work (since I live so close I am always the first they call), downed power and downed internet. (If anyone has a cable provider, you KNOW how much they love to screw people over.)
Wolfenlust, I am going to try and attempt uploading a photo from my phone to FA, but I am sure the colors will be all kinds of screwy. :c I will also be trying to re-install Skype on my phone so I may be contacted more easily.
Rai, I have finished your sketch, but as seen above, I have not been able to upload it for your viewing pleasure.
I will be trying the same method I am hoping to use for Wolfen, but I have never tried uploading from my phone before, so we shall see how it goes!

Please read the information below before commissioning me.
You agree to these Terms of Service automatically once an inquiry is made about a commission.
The Artist retains all rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right of distribution,
and retains the right to display all commissioned work on any personal website, gallery, or journal.
The Client may not commercially distribute art.
The Artist or Client are the only ones allowed to color linearts Shade or edit image in anyway (watermark must be untouched at all times)
The Client may not distribute, reproduce, modify, print or sell the Artist's work for monetary gain unless granted written permission.
The Client may not exhibit the Artist's work in any online/offline art gallery, personal website, or journal as their own. Credit must be given to the artist.
Do not remove the Artist's signature or logo when it is placed.
The Artist holds the right to turn away any commission if they do not agree on the subject matter presented.
1. Payment for your piece will be needed BEFORE I begin on your commission.
2. All prices are NON NEGOTIABLE. Please do not ask for a discount if there is not one active already.
3. I will provide a WIP when requested up to four times. There will be a 2 USD charge thereafter. (this exculdes character reference sheets.)
4. ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS PLEASE. Do not waste my time and yours.
5. Once I start a piece I will not provide a full refund. Partial refunds will be provided based on the original commission type and how far along I have worked.
6. If you have commissioned me I ask that you keep in contact at least once every 24 hours. (when I, the Artist message you about details on the piece.) If I do not hear from you within 24 hours I hold the right to place your piece in my que and extend any and all deadlines you may have provided. This does not constitute a refund in any way, shape, or form. If the provided note system here on FurAffinity is not easily accessed you may reach me at TarotDarkley[at]aol.com or message me through Skype at Gabe_Tarot.
7. An extra charge will be applied to rush jobs and work with a deadline closer than one week dependent on the commission type.
I will draw both SFW and NSFW.
To inquire about a commission you will need:

How To Pay:
I use Paypal only.

I would like to open up for some trial commissions.
About five or six months back I said I was open for commissions, but I didn't
truly know what I was doing. I wanted to take some time to improve and get
myself settled before I was officially going to start doing commissions, and I
now feel a bit more ready to tackle the responsibility.
What I am asking is this: I am going to open an experimental slot for each
kind of commission I will offer, and I would like some test subjects volunteers!

Like I said before, these are trials, so please be willing to work with me and help

So I have anxiety, and it is rearing its ugly head.
I have been trying to sleep, but it is not happening.
I hate that I will be exhausted all day at work but
when I get home and can actually sleep, I am up
until three o'clock in the morning.
I get this stupid pit in my stomach and a heavy
feeling in my chest that won't let me sleep. I am
constantly worrying about stupid things and then
making said things worse when I dwell on them.
The most I can really do at this point is take some
allergy medicine and hope I can wake up at six in
the morning. >n<

Someone decides to copy your sona.
Seriously though, this is disgusting and I HATE IT.
Your sona is supposed to be a reflection of you, a part of who you are.
What does it say about you when you copy someone else?
It is okay to take pieces and parts you like (i.e. big fennec ears and/or horns)
but it is NOT okay to take it, change the color and call it something different
when it CLEARLY is a carbon copy of someone's sona.
You are still copying and being awful.
Don't do it.
Taking something as inspiration is one thing.
Jacking something as personal as a sona and claiming it as yours?
Saying you had it first and the OA copied off of you?
It is despicable and disrespectful.
