Writing Commissions Price List & Preferences
Posted a year agoHello Everyone,
This has been something I have been debating for a long period of time but I've finally decided to go through with it. The information to follow is pricing & preference information for anyone that would like to commission me for any form of written story.
Commission Pricing & Preferences is as follows:
-Pricing will be at 2.5 cents per word.
-Stories will be written using a first and second draft which will be confirmed with the commissioner using Discord or Telegram. Before a story is written the general concept the commissioner would like the story to be about will be verified as needed and the subject, characters and primary concepts. The first draft will allow the commissioner to verify any major story concept adjustments or changes to be made while the second draft is for smaller details to be reviewed and adjusted. After confirming any final adjustments needed before the final draft, the total price for the commission will be verified and paid before the Final Draft is provided.
-I will not write any story that include any of the following subjects or fetishes: Diapers, Underage, Nonconsensual Interactions, Intentional Gore or Cruelty.
-I am comfortable with most other subjects, although I do prefer subjects involving Macro/Micro interactions.

Where was I and What about the 20 Minute Stories?
Posted 2 years agoFirst off, I want to apologize to how long it has been from my previous update journal but something unexpected happened in the middle December. As most of you may or may not be aware the 20 Minute stories were a daily practice to get me back into the mindset of writing and also working on my focus to try and get a little writing down every day. While there were occasional hang-ups there were no major issues until my bike crash near the tail end of October, which then transferred into the busy time of November and December which was filled with a lot of over time for work and little writing time for me.
In the middle of working on the stories for December something happened, something I assumed I would need a year of writing to reach but it was still a moment I decided to seize. Outside of the various short stories I have been writing, and side projects and stories I have at various stages for Fur Affinity. I have always desired to write a larger story, if not a novel. And during one of my down periods before I resumed the second half of the stories for December, I was struck with sudden inspiration. Not wishing to miss this chance and with every intention of catching this lightning into a bottle I dropped my work on the 20 Minute Stories to pursue the idea.
As of this moment most of my free writing time is actually pitched forward to work on a story idea and I have been nailing down the setting and getting a proper outline for the character and story events. Going forward this will be my major focus so my general activity of the written persuasion will decrease on the channel for a time, though I may still post pictures I get from various commissions of YCHs from other story ideas and content I had.
So for the immediate moment all my attention will be on this story concept. However, going forward and once I have the larger story outlined properly I should most likely resume writing here. And while the 20 Minute Stories have been a rousing success (especially considering they reached my desired outcome 4 months earlier than I expected), when I return to submit more stories I will say that I probably won't do any further 20 Minute Stories again but I will most likely work on larger stories or consolidate various story series i wrote in the 20MS works into proper long form stories with extra details and no limit on time frame.
Once I have a strong idea of when I have a solid base for this grander story I will either post another journal or perhaps to a surprise post of a different story.
See you all then!
PS. While it is currently off the table, I will most likely be taking things into consideration to maybe do commissioned stories going forward, but I promise nothing.

Thanksgiving Update
Posted 2 years agoHappy Thanksgiving for those of you that practice the holiday, and Good Thursday to everyone who may not.
This is a small journal to keep you appraised of what is going one since i have been noticeably absent despite recovery from my sprain last month. The short answer is, it seems that my recovery has landed perfectly along with the major crunch time with the end of the year at work which has pressed my time both early in the morning and late into the afternoon, restricting my chances to actually write or properly post the stories I have so far.
I apologies for this hold up but there will be a change coming in today. I am currently working on finishing up all the missed stories to this point to post all of them together today for a large block of stories to read and enjoy. Unfortunately, I cannot promise going forward if I can do the usual story per day posting as I have done through the year so far, instead I will be aiming for a major story post period every Saturday/Sunday of the week so you will get a Week's worth of stories at once rather than a single story each day.
Once the work crunch resolves itself I will try to shift back to a more normal story posting schedule but we'll have to hang on until such a time arrives.
I will also confirm that this 20 Minute Story process/challenge will conclude March 31, 2024. I have been aiming for a year's worth of stories and that's when the year will be over. From that point forward I will be aiming to clean up and redo a number of the more interesting short stories I wrote into longer, more fleshed out narratives or stories to enjoy, along with working on a few side projects and older stories I outlined but never put any time into.
Thank you for your patience so far and have a wonderful day.

20 Minute Stories Return & What I Did with 3 Weeks Down T...
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone, thank you for your patience while I was out of commission. This journal is going to be a mark for the return of the 20 minute stories and I have quite a bit of catchup as well. While I cannot promise the same amount of stories as what will soon be poste din a bit, I will be trying to write up at least 2 stories a day to catch up to the back log I have missed due to my sprained wrist. It will partially bleed into next month but I should make even pace to catch up before another full month passes us by.
If this is all you were interested in, you are free to follow along with all story posts as they filter in.
What follows is a small update on what I was doing while I couldn't the 20 Minute Stories for my daily challenge. In order to keep myself writing something, even if it wasn't a short story every day I managed to converse with an individual who is in the process of making a giantess themed RPG Maker game. Our initial encounter occurred as my lack of a good hand left me with little more than RPG Maker games to play as they tend to be easy enough to manage one handed. This meeting first encountered after I discovered and reported a number of bugs in their current current version of the game. From there a conversation sparked up which resulted in me offering my services to help edit and rewrite their in game dialogue since, while serviceable, it was a bit silly or clunky at times. The author had written it well enough but it was clear English wasn't their first language so i offered my services to help clean it up.
What followed was roughly 2.5 weeks of following along and making various adjustments and editing advice to improve the dialogue in the game so far. And while the changes will not be available in the next update the update next month will start implementing those adjustments. So at the very least I have kept up with some level of macro and micro writing, even if not directly my own.
To elaborate on the game further, the name of the game is: Size Play.
You play as a tiny male who is little more than bug sized in a world of giantesses who are just as like to stomp you as they are to use you as a sexual toy or a meal. The main interactions with the world use overland maps and navigation in the normal style one would find in any RPG Maker MV game, but where it really shines through is with the various interactions, from dodging stomping feet or body parts within the time limit. Performing different QTE games to hold out while at the mercy of a giantess, or struggling from within whatever orifice you have been forced into (or insist to just stay inside if it suits your fancy) Size Play features a number of various encounters for a variety of different fetishes for those that are interested.
One thing of note, is that the author for Size play is using a rendering program: Honey Select 2, to make their locations and girls for the interactions, and you will oven see these renders while interacting with the girls. but also because of this program all the large girls you find are specifically that, giantesses (be they regular girls or futanari) and if they have any animal qualities it will merely be additions such as ears or tails. There are no outstanding furry characters. If this still falls in your wheelhouse I have links to the game below.
Size Play Public - For those of you fine with the general game, which is updated monthly but tends to be roughly 1 month behind their patreon version. This link also goes to their public board post that does a way better job overviewing the game, listing relevant fetishes and sharing images to see if it is your cup of tea.
Size Play Patreon - For those of you that want to stay up to date on the game as it updates and changes, this is a link to the author's patreon so you can provide them support and keep in touch with every update as they come.
This information was shared with the approval of the game's creator SizeMage. Thank you for your time.

Wrist on the mend
Posted 2 years agoThankfully, it looks like the damage to my sprained wrist wasn't so terrible I would be out of commission for 4+ weeks. I will slowly be pushing my boundaries without leaving my brace on all the time.
If all goes well, stories should resume by next Saturday October 29, 2023.
Considering the number of weeks I missed, I will be trying to double or triple up the number of stories I write each day to make it back up to date with the current story progress.
See you in slightly less than a week!

10/9 Got into a bike crash while working out
Posted 2 years agoTo be clear up front it was a bicycle, not a motorcycle, but i still took a turn too fast and was flung from my bike and landed on my face and stomach with my knees and wrists taking most of the fall.
Thankfully nothing seems sprained or broken. But it was my right wrist that hurts the worst after the spill, and considering my dominate hand for writing and typing is my write, my typing speed has been reduced.
Until my wrist heals up, the duration of time for each story will be increased by 10 minutes to accommodate for my slower typing speed or else every story will probably end up as scraps.
Once i fully recover I will resume the usual 20 minute writing period.
Edit: on second review after a number of hours it looks like it might actually be a sprain on the wrist.. so until further notice, considering it is my dominant writing hand, I will be putting a hold on a stories until I recover enough to properly type at which point I will make up for every missed story to whatever date that will be.

Macro Zoo Progress Update
Posted 2 years agoOkay, I know i normally keep the journals for the ongoing 20 minute stories I write each day but I figured this would be a worthwhile update beyond the usual delay or adjustment to the number of stories posted in a day based on arbitrary events in real life that influence my ability to write each day.
To cut directly to the chase for those of you that aren't being informed in FA Notes or seeing occasional posts in the comments section of my stories, or have not looked at the description for the picture I have for the Dragoness Stella located in the Macro Zoo content Folder... The Macro Zoo project is a very large story I actually started to work on sometime between when real life events made finishing Chapter Five of Tabletop Troubles unlikely to when I returned back to my account to post the rough draft and outline of said chapter before pushing myself to write every day to keep myself active.
The Macro Zoo project will be a Choose Your Own Adventure style writing project with a number of very large posts that are set in the alternate reality where the Macro Zoo exists. It will be a combination of Artwork I commission of various macro characters as well as large story posts in the description for your chosen path of encountering said individuals. The concept is based primarily around the concept of vore and teasing though your fate also depends on the personality of the macros who get ahold of you. Your interactions will also be based on decisions made from the opening hub post of the setting.
Presently I think doing an entirely new post for every subsection or variation may be a bit too much so all encounters will be based off the choice of where you go, with different occurrences documented underneath the picture for people to then read and follow for their next choice and so on. Although, this portion of the project is still very much in flux and I could very easily go for the multi post route if it becomes a bit too much in practice. As of this moment I have written the basic outline for the opening post a few times and i am currently doing a final outline with as much detail as I can manage before I start my rough drafts and story post.
While I don't want to give everything away ahead of time i will mention a few themes about macro zoo that will be elaborated much more clearly in the opening post but will allow people to envision what is to come:
Macro Zoo Admission. There are several levels of Admission to the Macro Zoo that determine your potential fate once you step past the entrance. The most common form is General Admission which is little more than a ticket of approval. From that point onward your adventure and fate in the Macro Zoo is entirely in your own hands/paws/etc.
Macro Exhibits. Every Exhibit will have a macro in it but these macros are volunteers who are rewarded for their time in front of the smaller general audiences. Volunteer Macros can range from any size from the tiniest of nanos to the most massive of Teras, all of them readjusted to the usual Macro height scale for the general public to appreciate and be in awe of their forms. Any time the volunteer is no longer interested in participating they are free to go back to their own realm/existence and resume being their original size.
Preferences. The style of interaction or vore is based entirely on the macro's choices meaning any story encounter could range to stomping and paw play to various forms of vore. The Macro Zoo will also feature a wide array of macros be they male, female, intersex or other. However there are some forms of general conduct so this won't be open season for all fetishes.
Finally, the macro Zoo is designed to feature a picture and a story for every post so I will not post updates unless I have both sides finished and i am satisfied with the product itself before i continue posting. As such, the long term plan for Macro Zoo will be in addition to other writing projects I am currently undertaking, so do not expect constant updates. But every addition made will be linked back to the Hub pos tin some fashion.
I look forward to seeing you at the Grand Opening of the Macro Zoo once it becomes available.
Oh and a final note, while the start to this project will mostly be filled with my own characters or other popular furry interest characters. As time progresses i mask other individuals, such as artists i commission for the Macro Zoo pictures, if they would like to have some of their own characters featured in the Macro Zoo as well. All decisions in regards to said character's personality to exhibit design will be in the hands of the original creator to set the basis for interactions i write for in the CYOA story. Proper acknowledgement will be provided for both OCs and Sonas as well as artist acknowledgement per pictures. Currently additional are Invite Note only but I may change this policy in the future if this is going strong for some time.

Every Setting from the 20 Minute Stories
Posted 2 years agoThis is a more comprehensive breakdown of every setting that cropped up during April’s 20 Minute Stories, and will continue into the future. This list is used to view a bit more clearly at the setting behind the short stories along with direct links and identification to know which stories fall under which setting. These settings will most likely continue to be used in the future along with more being added on anytime a new prompt and theme doesn’t fit for me when I am in the moment of designing the story. Stories are grouped based on while ones are tied to the same storyline.

Coexistence - Set in a world where Micros and Macros live fairly peacefully on the same world. Certain locations are divided for each group to live independently of each other, with a few approved exceptions, and other towns and regions where macros and micros live together in relative peace. Every person, be they micro or macro, are some variation of anthropomorphic animal, there are no humans in this world. While Micros can easily work in any macro establishment that has proper adjustments or practices enforced to let smaller employees or customers to survive peacefully; Macros must undergo a long screening process to prove they can live in a more micro focused town, remembering to respect personal space and boundaries.

Space Mustelids from Another Dimension - Space Mustelids is set where there is another dimension that is under the control of towering Macros who share similar appearances to various species of Mustelids. They have colonized planets and charted the stars and even mastered transdimension technology. This technology requires frequent calculations and observations of chosen locations in a different dimension and vast amounts of power if a stable portal is to be maintained. They very rarely leave their dimension as the required amount of energy and resources to go through to another dimension to go there and settle on a fresh planet is far greater than just finding a planet in their dimension to do the same thing.
The one thing their cross dimensional technology is used for is to discover strange and alien fauna to sample as rare delicacies. There are rules in place to make sure that no collected species exceeds a certain level of sapience and violators will be severely punished if it is discovered they were intentionally harvesting from developing species on the way to civilization. To avoid this most times a planet is frequently surveyed multiple times over a long period of time to ensure such blunders never occur.
In the case of Earth, it was formerly logged planet from a far older time when a rare large reptilian delicacy could be found but eventually when the flare of the choices turned dull the location was cataloged for later if they ever wanted to revisit old flavors. After a sudden treat shortage a number of Harvesters pulled Earth from the old catalog and, due to an immediate need for the product, decided to ignore the usual surveys to grab whatever was on the planet.

But, if any species shows signs it is near an extinction level event, she intervenes and uproots as many of the adorable creatures as possible to watch over and cultivate in her own home. Between Full Moons - The world is filled with two kinds of people. Macro anthropomorphic animals and micro humans. Society lives in relative peace but it is unquestionable that humans can use every bit of help they can get to navigate society safely. However, be the intentions benevolent, malevolent or generally oblivious the one undisputed fact is somewhere along a human's life (unless they live in a human only town) they will always fall under or up the posteriors of their larger peers. Thankfully humanity seems to have adapted to being under the brunt of the macro's forms and the butt of the joke as they have incredible durability and tolerance when subjected to the windier conditions some posteriors provide.

Hive Sweet Hive - On a world with gigantic anthropomorphic moths and much smaller humans. The two races live peaceful and fully separate lives from each other to an extent. There is little to no questioning that the Motto are the dominate species of the planet, with the capabilities to travel the stars and settle on distant worlds. On one such garden world they made their home they soon discovered the planet wasn't as uninhabited as they originally thought as a smaller species known as humans also lived there. However garden worlds are tough to come by so the Motto take it upon themselves to integrate as carefully onto the world as they can, their policy to leave the smaller, less advanced humans to their own devices as much as possible.
While the Motto only had the best of intentions, no matter how careful their settlements were planned, there was always some overlap, with human Hives bordering rather close or within the boundaries of Motto cities. Most Motto have adapted to seeing and avoiding the smaller humans as best they can in their day to day, though sometimes there are rather embarrassing or curious interactions between the two people that happen rather unexpectedly or from a simple misunderstanding.

So I'm Dating a Goddess - Arnold was a fairly average wolf, he had a few good friends and has a semi-active, athletic life rock climbing and spelunking though nothing too grand. One day he encounters a rather bored and upset looking horse girl in a bar and tried to cheer her up. While she initially seemed to be looking through the canine, her eyes had a sort of shimmer there and then interest, voicing her surprise he even noticed her. When he proposed that it didn't sit right with him seeing someone sitting and drinking alone with such a sad look, she seemed to get a curious smile and offered for him to improve the night. And what followed was a revelation that broke Arnold's understanding of the known universe, as it seemed his new girlfriend Tabatha, had a few more secrets than he initially thought. 20 Minute Writing Prompts Overview
Posted 2 years agoTo get back into the swing of writing after my long hiatus. (See Fate of Tabletop Troubles Ch 5 if you want the details.)
I have picked up a writing exercise I noticed while reading a few stories from
Sovrim which was basically an idea to create a story concept and write it out in the span of 20 minutes. I found the idea to be interesting and a means to provide a way to start writing every day and get the creative juices flowing once again. So after spending the latter half of March puzzling out what exactly I would be doing I have come up with the following rules:
1. All short stories would be completed, from the concept to putting them on the page in 20 minutes or less. After the first timer is over I am allowed to double back to clean up any spelling mistakes but no further than that step.
2. Regardless if the story or idea is complete, and after I clean up what I have written, I will post it to FA and identify it as such, 20 Minute Story: Title.
3. Writing Prompts and Theme words are created before the start to each month and there is one writing prompt and a one word theme per day to try and follow for the sake of the story creation.
a. Define each Writing Prompt on the story entry itself as some Writing Prompts can be confusing on their own.
b. Make sure each entry has a small synopsis as well as appropriate tags
4. Make sure to post each month's writing prompts and themes by journal entry so others know what to try and guess the story will be about, or join along if they so choose.
Beyond that I will be trying to maintain this idea through the rest of the year, and have fun while doing it, but we'll just have to see how long I can make this last.

The Fate of Tabletop Troubles Ch 5
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone,
This journal has been sitting unfinished on a word document for nearly three years. The entire contents of that document has been scraped save the title and I will cut right to the chase. For those of you who grew interested in the Tabletop Troubles story and have been hoping I've just been on some long hiatus before the story's final reveal, this journal is for you.
Will Tabletop Troubles Ch 5 ever fully release? No. The proper story is dead and will not be finished.
Will Tabletop Troubles get anything to close out the story? Yes. I plan to release the first draft and outline for Tabletop Troubles Ch5 within the next few days to at least provide some narrative closure.
If you were only interested in the main topic listed above, now is the ideal stopping point. The rest of this Journal will address the 'Whys' of it all, and what will be coming up next in the long line of future plans.
1) Why did this story have such a massive delay for Chapter 5?
Tabletop Troubles was a rather ambitious story that not only involved a wide array of characters but also the daring motivation to make the D&D side of the game as close to the actual medium as possible. To those ends, all the races and creatures encountered in the story as the challenging moments in the game are actual creatures from D&D itself and a few third party sources. On top of this I had made each D&D character that the story characters would use. And whenever a skill or combat check or anything came up, I would actually roll the dice and run with the results. Beyond those results I wrote the character's reactions to the scenario. These facts are true for every chapter of Tabletop Troubles but for Chapter 5 it had the final set piece encounters. A few random encounters and a massive boss fight that required a lot of outlining and tracking of dice rolls beyond the story itself and it could of made the finale be an awesome fight or a tpk depending on how the dice fell.
Translating dice rolls to a story took time, and I didn't have a lot of time during my days, so a lot of my writing actually took place during the down time of D&D sessions that I DMed or Co-DMed with a number of in real life tables and friends. Naturally, writing in those conditions makes it incredibly easy to absorb outside influences that may change or adjust how the writing is perceived or handled in regards to the final execution. It was because of these exposures that one of my characters was unfortunately tainted by real life drama: Boetian. This drama with one of the players makes it nearly impossible, to this day, to separate the character from the player and if I made any attempt to work around or fix this issue it would require a complete rework or rewrite of Chapters 1-4. It was for this reason Chapter 5 was kept in hiatus.
2) Why was Boetian unsalvageable?
To understand that I will have to break down the drama that happened during the Wednesday night D&D games I used to run at a comic shop before the world was thrown into disarray and a certain pesky disease was spreading everywhere all at once.
My Wednesday night game was a game where I was the DM for the D&D module: Dragon heist. We had a wide array of players that, due to store policy limiting the number of players at each table players had to RSVP ahead of the game night in order to make sure they got a seat before they all fille dup and they would have to miss a week or more depending on their luck. While I encouraged making sure players signed up in time before following games, a few players got it in their heads to compete to see who could get the closest to the opening registration time which was 12:00 AM the night after game night. Players being players, this competition tuned into a full on event where all my players would stay up late, or wake incredibly early, to RSVP their spots as soon as possible.
Enter our problem player. This player had a similar mindset and some actions to how I had written Boetian, despite the character existing well before the player came into the picture. With his confident attitude, and fixated mindset he knew what we best he was integrated at the table as a fighter and didn't like to delay around for RP events to occur so long as he got his combat in. While at the table he was openly friendly with a girl who also participated at my table and from their interactions they could almost be mistaken for a couple, if not close friends. Then one day, while checking the player RSVPs for the next game I noticed a pair of messages from our problem player who expressed outrage at missing the chance to sign up for the game several weeks in a row and wanted to boycott my game for "forcing players to stay up early to sign up for the game" A fact I never enforced and was something other players started for fun. To top the incident off, this was something he immediately escalated to the table wide discord chat and even alerted the comic shop owners and other event coordinators needed to be halted immediately, without even conversing with me to the side on his opinions or ideas to see if the matter could be resolved. This eventually lead to me taking an entire week's session off the play time to talk to my players about expectations and concerns they wished to voice in person to make sure the game was running smoothly, and remind everyone the signups were not mandatory for a midnight RSVP.
At the time I hoped this would be enough, but this player had other plans brewing for me.
Barely a month after the party powwow to figure out the opinions and wants of the group from the game's session I got 2 different discord messages simultaneously. The first came from our Problem Player saying he was getting threatening messages from another player and he wanted that player charged with assault for sending those text messages and for the player to be removed from the table. At around the same time I received a different message from another player at the table who was close friends with the one female player in my group. He wanted to inform me that he had caught our Problem Player hitting on the female player while out at a bar and trying to get either a kiss from her or help walk her to her car even after being informed that she had a boyfriend. This new player confronted the problem player and made it clear he should back off from hitting on the girl any further or he would regret it.
This was the scenario I was made aware of 2 hours before the Wednesday game started. After getting the information from both sides and presenting it to the comic shop it was decided the Problem Player and the other player who threatened him would be banned from the shop, and at the same time the female player decided to back out. In a single night my player participation was gutted and having to play detective and intermediary of the whole ordeal left me too emotionally drained to continue, and also left me with the realization that the problem player had left me with feelings of close association between him and Boetian, which caused the first massive break in my posting schedule and end to Chapter 5. It also left me in a position where any direct interaction or addressing of Boetian in the story left me envisioning the problem player's face and actions over anything i tried to write about, which killed my mood.
3) Why bring all this up now?
Tabletop Troubles was the first story I've written for any online community that wasn't based on some rp I did with other people or concept I pulled from a video game reworked into a story. I had a lot of fun outlining and writing each chapter, especially with the idea to play the D&D game with the characters which lead to various moments that felt really close to the narrative style of a lot of the D&D I had run or played over the same period of time. To have that story written but not finished, in any circumstance has left a huge amount of pressure on my mind due to failing to finish the story and releasing it, along with guilt about telling people I have been working on the story even when the rough draft documents were lost and gathering dust when I realized I couldn't salvage Boetian's character from the lingering dislikes I had from the problem player.
I had to finish the story, or at the very least, released what I have on it so I can move on to work on other stories and settings without this lingering regret.

What does the future hold?
Honestly, I don't know. There are a few stories and settings I have bee slowly chipping away at even when I wasn't fully committed to it just yet. I'm sure some of you have seen the many adoptables I have acquired from Random-bard that make mention to either Micro Kit of Macro Zoo. Both of these are worlds I am working on expanding and eventually posting stories for in the future though i don't have a set date yet.
There is also a vast array of narrative settings I have been sitting on for almost 4 years now that I may consider putting some time into writing out when motivation strikes me, but hopefully things should go much more smoothly from here.
Thank you all for the time. The Rough Draft of Chapter 5 should be comin g in the next 2 days, so keep your eyes peeled.

Return from November
Posted 7 years agoWell November has rolled around and passed and that means I will now return from everything that happened to a hopefully more normal design. But first a breakdown of what occurred:
For those of you that read the previous Journal you were aware of a writing event known as NaNoWriMo I loosely explained. To reiterate it functions essentially like the writer's equivalent to Inktober. The ultimate goal is to finish a 50k word novel in the span of a month. Roughly 1,600 words and some change a day to hope to complete the submission by month's end but submission for the story on the official website can occur as early as Day 20. To all my fellow writers writing a story you enjoy can be heard making time for any amount of words, but forcing yourself to write almost 2,000 words a day can be incredibly exhausting. I will point out now i Failed to complete the NaNo. On Day 15 I had physically collapsed due to extreme levels of physical and mental exhaustion from balancing my work life, my writing life and other things together. End total was a story about 22,000 words in all. Far Cry what I aimed for but far better than I thought i could do leading up to the day I collapsed.
I want to break this down a bit more. If you are uninterested I invite you to skip over this section but this is an important realization I had to dwell on after that day. I've done the NaNo several times in the past. In fact on four occasions in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 I managed to complete the challenge well before the 30 day mark and while i felt tired i never hand the mind numbing collapse that occurred this time. Dwelling on that why I realized that a much younger me going through community College and lacking even a part time job or outside social life had an excess of free time to throw at whatever I wanted and it got me overconfident. Follow this up with 6 years of little to no writing effort due to personal reasons such as taking on a full time job and slowly developing a social life running D&D and other tabletop games and the hours of unending freedom I believed i would have forever have balanced out at a shaky pestle I only just have in check. Throwing the time demands of the NaNo into this mess was a terrible idea and self destructive. Due to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays being operated as event coordinators for three separate tabletop games i functionally went from an 8 hour work day into an additional 6 hour time sink that consumed any reasonable time i had to write. Pushing my time from 1600 words a day to 3200 words every other day. On top of that even if i felt an idea was slow or i needed time to think on how to approach the writing with my gap days only being Tuesday, Thursday and weekends I had to put further time into writing a steady pace and remove precious sleep hours that keep me balanced. I think you can all see where this is going. After my collapse I swore off writing for the remainder of November to collect myself.
Outside of writing Drama i was also caught off guard by a family planned vacation on the last week of November. I got to take some time off go someplace rather relaxing and enjoy myself, to an extent though the combination of family attention and weather prevented any real work on some of the stories i brought along to work at. Though I will say Chapter 5 of Tabletop Troubles is nearing the end of the Written Rough Draft cycle and soon will be typed in for all the edits i need to do thus far. All other stories int he previous journal are ongoing and I will create journals for them as time goes on.
Outside of my direct stories I have one very exciting piece of information but I would like to make a lot of it a surprise for the big reveal. What i will share is a few friends on FA have approached me about working on a Mod for a certain Sci-Fi game and they would like me to write the story and choice excerpts for the work that is being done. As the project looks to be fully underway with no complications or issues I will be a bit more comfortable to share who is working on the project with me and what the project is about but I will say to look forward to a surprise next year.
This weekend I promise to release Boetian's Character Sheet from Tabletop Troubles, which had fallen to the way side due to NaNoWriMo and the vacation at the end of last month.
Also, I have a special question for this journal. For everyone who has read Tabletop Troubles so far: What is Neinja's D&D Character's race? And Who was the mysterious women seen back at town? Please leave a single comment with your guess and if someone can guess correctly I have a special event for you in one of my upcoming stories. Thank you for your time reading my journal and for those of you that skipped it, thanks for the view for however far you got.

Upcoming Stories
Posted 7 years agoMy first official Fur Affinity Journal! Doesn't feel terribly fancy but I figured I would get the jump on this in advance as this last month has been incredibly productive. Across the three chapters I have posted for Tabletop troubles in this last month I have more cumulative views and comments then an 20+ part story I remember a much younger me posted back during my days on DA and the level of excitement I have because of it is hard to quantify but does mean I have far more enthusiasm for the story beyond enjoying the story myself because I know others out there are enjoying it just as much. In that regard this Journal is my advanced heads up that Chapter 4 of Tabletop Troubles will be out by October 31st.
Outside of this one story it would behoove me to inform all of you I have a number of other short stories on the way, all of them much neater than some ongoing story that will go into the future. A fair number of them will be set in the UTO verse. The list includes:
Ronin, a tale about a Human and Ashishi(hyena) pair testing out a ship design that aims to try and improve the efficiency of short range scout vessels with a smaller compact and hopefully efficient crew, and what problems could also come from such an experimental design.
Warning! (Title Pending), A story about Space Pirates that hide in the reaches of space and what they do to keep themselves hidden, and what cargo they find worth a fortune.
Search & Rescue, A story about a mixed species disaster relief crew that has to aid early colonized worlds or civilian ships with any troubles that might arise far from main UTO controlled space. And the adjustment their newest human crew members must undergo to be used to this line of work.
Spooky Times (Title Pending), A collection of three very short stories about the blending of culture and what might happen if the UTO adopt the fight night of Halloween into their own customs.
Outside of UTO I do have one story planned. I won't reveal much except the title which is the only thing I am fully comfortable with at this time. The Story is called Beyond Jupiter and updates will be made in the future on its progress. It will be many chapters long but unlike Tabletop Troubles I plan to post the full story in it's entirety when it is ready.
In other news, and I think the most important news. I will not be posting any stories for November. Instead I have committed myself to participating in an event known as the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) the entire aim is to write at least a 50k word novel in the span of a month. I have a story and topic in mind but zero outlines or prp work as I will be working on the challenge during this time. My aim is to write a UTO themed story about an Exploration ship that discovers a world viable for colonization and the troubles that go with it. The Main character is Tasha a mute human mech pilot with her AI partner Gahren and her Guardian-to-be De'Vrahn. When November is over I will be spending time on the site to make sure the work is cohesive and I will also post that story on my account, when I feel it is ready and Hetzer thinks it fits within the universe.
And that's it so far. Thanks for reading if you had the time, or if you skipped to the bottom thanks for a glance. To summarize more stories are on the way. To keep with my Tabletop Stories I have a question for you all. If you were a participant at Robert's table what kind of character would you have to add to the mix?
