On February 24, 2022, at 5 a.m., I woke up to messages in Telegram from my friend, who lived in Mykolaiv at the time. She wrote that she hears explosions and is very scared. After that, I tried to call my mother, who lives in Odesa, but it didn't work the first time, because then there were already problems with mobile communication. It was the scariest morning of my life.

But I know that all my loved ones are alive and well, even though their lives have changed. My home and my hometown are not destroyed, life is still raging in it. But not everyone is so lucky.

Recently, I met a person who became very important to me. My friend from Mariupol, in the morning of February 24, he left the city with his family. Now his home, the college where he studied, the streets where he walked - everything is destroyed. Now he will never be able to return 'home'.

Before, I didn't think about how terrible things were happening until it became personal for me. I am very glad that I was given support at the time, in particular, the Furaffinity community. I am very grateful that you continue to provide support to people from Ukraine, even seemingly insignificant actions, such as spreading information, words of support, just mentioning that the war in Ukraine is still going on, this is very important.

On June 6, 2023, Russia blew up the Kakhovskaya HPP in the Kherson region, which flooded many settlements. The water level reaches the roofs, the evacuation is still ongoing. Many people and animals need help!

Right now I'm going to Odesa, to my mother (I haven't seen her since Easter). I hoped that there would be no problems during the trip, but trouble started from the very beginning. When we arrived at the station, it turned out that there was no train we needed.
