Choose an Adventure (NSFW)
Posted 9 years agoYou knew that you should have been more careful to get home before evening but now the sun is setting. You're lost in a forest filled with werewolves and they'll be on the prowl soon. There's a clearing where you stop for a minute to catch your breath but that's when you see him- the biggest baddest wolf you've ever seen, sleeping. His clothes in a lump beside him and the evening wood has caused him to pitch a tent in his briefs. He's about to wake up and you know he'll be hungry but to save your own skin, do you offer to go downtown on his now dripping wet member?
1. Best let sleeping dogs lie, no matter how well endowed they are.
2. Give him a rather knotty handshake and make the wolf howl.

I Want a Summer Fling
Posted 9 years agoI don't care with who but I've moved into a new apartment and I want nothing more than a booty call. This lupine needs to make love with someone other than his right paw. Does anyone want to be my lover?

Great News
Posted 9 years agoLast night, I found the companion pair to the original Crafty Coyote boxers for sale online. I bought them so next weekend, I might be able to post pictures of Skate Hog, who I am certain was created by the same artist. I'll show you the screen shot of what I purchased earlier
Feeling A Bit Down
Posted 9 years agoSo I'm a few weeks into my first Art class at the community college and I feel like I'll never reach where the other students are. I feel that in many respects, I am the one who was chosen to bring Crafty Coyote to the world and yet, there are many times I feel like it should have happened to someone who knows art far better. I'm willing to go up against a multinational corporation for the right to create art with my little orange yote on it but I don't know if I can ever really learn perspective well enough to release anything worth buying in the first place. And, I don't know whether or not I can write a story compelling enough that people would want it.
Bio of Crafty
Posted 9 years agoName: Cal Coyote
Alias: "Crafty"
Date of Birth: October 22, 1971
Age: 25
Hometown: Santa Monica, CA.
In a universe where humans and animal-men live side by side, Cal Coyote is a typical laid-back California dude who enjoys skateboarding, heavy metal, and motorcycling. He has completed high school and holds an associate's degree. He loves his leather jacket and is hardly seen without it, in spite of living in a sunny climate. He works 9-5, Monday through Friday as an auto mechanic at Golden State Automotive, a job that plays to his obvious love of mechanics and engineering; the feeling of accomplishment of fixing a particularly difficult repair job keeps him working there. Cal has sent his resume to several automakers, asking for employment as a technician. On the weekends, he uses that same precision and attention to detail as a skateboarder and amateur musician. Both the skill displayed at his job and on the half-pipe have earned him the name "Crafty", though he has long been waiting for the right opportunity to tell his employer about his hobbies; he has seen a bright future for skateboarding and longs for a day when he might be a pro skater. On Saturday mornings, he watches cartoons which are in abundance in the 1990s, the time period in which he lives.
After experiencing the horrors of alcohol addiction firsthand, "Crafty" took on a vow of temperance about three years ago which he observes, thinking that this attribute of cleanliness might make him a role model for children and something that any potential wife would want to see in him. Even still, he is somewhat childlike in his views of the world, and his beliefs are idealistic, although he wants to maintain a ruggedly handsome, "butch" outward appearance. He started growing a goatee in late elementary school, which he has kept ever since and distinguishes from the other coyotes.

What is Wrong With Us?
Posted 9 years agoI was helping to clean up a bat mitzvah reception when I heard the news that Rainfurrest was cancelled. I don't understand that if Furries know the world at large has a negative reaction to what we do, why on Earth do you make sure everybody has confirmation that we do EXACTLY what they think we would do, not to mention damaging a hotel in the process?
We had idiots throwing used adult diapers at cars. We had someone drilling a glory hole in the hotel bathrooms. And we had some people who decided to damage the hotel's water systems and many rooms in the hotel by stuffing towels in the pumps. So I can definitely see why hotels would be leery of doing business with us. And Oklacon is gone permanently for much the same reason. How do we protect our conventions from selfish, stupid fools?

What do I do Now
Posted 9 years agoNow I can officially confirm that the company that made Crafty Coyote has completely abandoned him and discontinued production of the clothes that featured him. I want him to be mine so should I get a copyright made under a different name?
These Songs Still Bring Tears to my Eyes

Went Back to Community College
Posted 9 years agoI will be posting my projects over the next few months and hoping for positive feedback. I want to make Crafty California Coyote a reality but I need the tools and training to do this. Speaking of, I have colored sketches ready to scan but need to get back to having a working Internet connections which should come this week.
PS, If I gave Crafty Coyote his own webpage on FA would you follow him? I'd draw my own sketches and expand his universe with every update. I have z so many ideas I'd like to try but I want to know if they'll work.

If
Posted 10 years agoCrafty Coyote were a thing you could buy at a convention or a shop would you actually want to buy it? You've seen what he looks like, would you want books, apparel, accessories etc. with my character on them?
I Want to Find Crafty Coyote's Original Maker
Posted 10 years agoI have made known my plans to market him but the truth is someone else created him, under commission by Hanes and it would be my wish to find out who it was. Truth be told, I would have bought anything with this character on it, if more than one item existed. Please, somebody tell me who made this image; when we find you, we must tell you that your character would have been absolutely huge here in the fandom.

I Will Pay Top Dollar
Posted 10 years agoI want convention books from Furry conventions I have not already attended (NOT Furry Fiesta, NOT pre-2009 Oklacon, and any Wild Nights except 2013, and 14.) I will pay $5 for pamphlet size and $10 for magazine size. Think about it- you paid nothing for the books and somebody will pay you to buy them off your hands. I am just obsessed with Furry history and want these books badly.
Finally Found it
Posted 10 years agolistening to this song for the first time after twenty years sends shivers up my spine. I just hope that the fact that the singer is in CCM doesn't make people think any less of me or this song. Bryan Duncan is awesome.

What is Hell on Earth
Posted 10 years agoGetting everything exactly the way you want it. I mean, every single thing exactly the way YOU want it. Which means when I think about all those SJW-types who want everybody to win- except the people they don't agree with. I wonder if this is their summer camp.
