The cartoons were great, the fashion was pastel-colors-on-black, we weren't so dependent on technology, the Internet was still early-beta mode, and the Cowboys were favorites to win the Super Bowl. So on a whim I decided to try out this vegan restaurant in downtown Dallas, which had its own sets of Tarot cards. Picking out five at random, I got the King of Fire (Wands), Six of Fire, Four of Water (Cups), the Zenmaster (a 79th card with no analogue in traditional tarot) and Escpaing Illusions (Judgment) in a diamond format.

I believe myself to be the King of Wands, a perfect fit for a performing artist or provocateur whose ideas could either burn him or set the world on fire with his creativity. Many times, in my life, my ideas have either gotten me in trouble or helped me through tough times. My current situation would be the victory expressed in the Six of Wands, but with all this victory comes a fear of complacency. All too often, I ask myself "What if the wrong people knew the truth about me?" and think that life would become a trainwreck for me if I chose to reveal too much information. I consider the concept behind my fursuit a great success but remaining humble throughout has been somewhat of a challenge for me. This leads to a renewed interest in being introspective and thankful for the things I have already enjoyed in life (Four of Cups) . The future will hold a day of Judgment to determine if the things I have done are noble and worth pursuing but for now I can only hope for the best. Most perplexing of all, my reading includes the extra card, the Zenmaster, which has forced me to ask the unanswerable question "Who am I" or more accurately "What have I become?"

Whenever I see a string of numbers, I always associate them with various colors and that should not be the case. 0123456789 become grey-beige-red-pink-purple-eggplant-orange-green-yellow-blue, in that exact order. I wonder if this is proof of insanity.
