SOME NEWS FOR ALL WHO COMMISSIONED ME
Posted 5 years agoSo, if you commissioned me, you may wonder when the art will be ready. I promised many of you to finish your piece in February. Yeah my promises never work as they should
Don't worry though, I could be anyone but not a scammer. Here's why though
Thing is, I go through many layers of self-reflection and analysis last few months. And here's the explanation of why it's taking me that long. No excuses, just facts
Procrastination -> Commission list not moving anywhere -> Huge guilt -> Escapism -> Procrastination
Money pressure -> Perfectionism -> Trying hard to meet the "standarts" I put in my work before -> Anxiety -> Procrastination
Escapism -> Shopping Addiction (I don't drink, so I'm not an alchoholic yet) -> Money Loss -> Have to pay rent and survive also -> Debts -> Guilt/Commissions stacking -> Escapism
Perfectionism -> Trying to make every piece "original" -> Haha bad idea with porn drawings -> Anxiety and guilt -> Perfectionism
So those are the mechanisms I discovered going through my head each and every day. I already working on solving those problems and breaking the harmful loops
As far as I could say, first - I'm not a best person to work as a freelance artist. But I have no choice. I have no other source of income while have to provide for myself and my family
Second - I should probably switch my efforts into Patreon or something. Stop taking commissions, with a few YCHs time at a time. Sounds like a plan, but I should think about that
Third - I'm pretty close to solve those problems and harmful loops. If only I could ask for a little bit more patience (which I probably don't deserve at this point)
My list is about 30+ commissions right now. That number is quite huge and that creates anxiety itself. Not only that, I also owe some money amounts and it's pretty huge too
But right now I'm not capable of even buy some food. Yeah I know it's my fault. But I need just a little bit more time, I feel that I'm close to a conclusion and becoming a better person and better artist
And yes I understand, it's pretty annoying. Like, even if you choose not to wait anymore, what can you do? Especially if you paid for the art 6+ months ago (PayPal refund time)
This is a bummer because you're kinda forced to wait and see when I could actually do something. I understand. And I'm sorry that you were put in such position
All I ask for right now is a support and, yes, a little bit more patience. I'll do my best to provide art and money to all people I owe. Sooner or later
My plan is to take is slowly-ish, establishing good habits, try to be more loose, work with timer. Quality might get damaged a little bit though. But I finally can start to be consistent and work every day, so my list will start to melt. That's what I'm hoping for
And I'll do some more YCHs soon, collabs and solo too, enlarging my list of commissions more, but I have no choice at this moment. I'll make sure that bidders acknowledge that (not a thing with collabs though, since almost all the work is on my collab partners)

I'm slowly struggling to levelup my skills in general professionalism (not procrastinating, simply putting)
And I even have some progress here and there, but it's still requires tons of effort
I try to not take many commissions (you may have noticed, if you watch me for a long time, that I do lots of collab YCHs that require a minimum work from me, just to stay financed)
Once my enormous list of commissions of around 50 entries now is just around 15. So yes it is quite a progress
And I had a controversal move of refunding some of the commissions, and it went rather fine. I already refunded money to the most of the commissioners (in fact only one person with the largest amount of money needed to refund left. I'm feeling so guilty)
I want to say thank you to everyone who was extremely polite and patient with me. I really appreciate that!
But yes, I need to stay financed (and also refund the last person) so I'll take commissions right now if anyone wants
I want to try a slightly fresh and somewhat old approach. I'm not sure about the result (currently I'm also struggling with my perfectionism that makes me anxious, I try to be more loose with my sketches since right now they're basically a linework from scratch)
If you willing to take the risk of getting who knows what (but hey I still have skills right?) you're welcome!
Rules are:
1. It will be a wing-it commission with a possibility of maximum 2 tags from you (for example, crossdressing anal - I'll know what to do). You can request no tags, but I don't want to be stressed so don't be mad at me after if I do something what you didn't want to see
2. I will be picky and I'll choose which ones to not take. I have my subjective taste. Please ask for a slot only if you couldn't get upset with me not choosing you
3. Only solo (body parts are fine but you won't know if I'll include them or not)
4. It will be a coloured sketch. Somewhat flat colours, but not really
5. Aside from 2 tags you can also SUGGEST an outfit. But I'd decide if I want to make what you suggested, or something my own that I think should work good with your character, but just in case prepare that you'll see a straight forward nude piece
6. Price is $60 (my usual price for a flatcoloured sketch is $100)
7. Amount of slots are unknown. I'll see how many entries will be there and decide from that.
8. PayPal, no refunds (actually no refunds, you'll get art)
9. Not putting a deadline here. Old story. Only an estimate of around 2 weeks, but prepare for this commission to take a month or few. I'll try to make it fast anyway, but only try. No promise. Be sure that you could wait before asking for a slot. JUST IN CASE

Good news I guess
Posted 6 years agoI'm feeling better. I finally come closer to solve my crisis thing. Procrastination wasn't even the main issue. Long story.
I've come to some conclusions that help me a lot last days. And my struggles were almost disapeared. Consider this as "back in action" state
I'll try my best to stay productive, get commissions done and get refunds paid as soon as possible
I may even start streaming, but I'm not sure about that yet

I don't want it to be somewhat an excuse or something. I'm not refusing to do my work, I take full responsibility and guilt on me. This blog entry is for those who maybe interested in my life and also it's another explanation why I'm doing commissions so long
1. I'm just tired. Yes, I still want to work, but I'm tired of it. I just want to work on my own drawings and projects, but every time I do that I feel guilt (see point 7). Things turned worse though, as my father got dropped from a fair amount of salary to a pretty miserable one, so in fact I need to work even more
2. Everyday increasing frustration for more than 2 years. It all started 2 years ago, you heard it right. The dept pit begun. Before that everything was good. I tried to jump over my head (took many commissions and hold them for a few months) and still dealing with consequences
3. I'm tired of furry porn. That's not something scary, like "Oh my god, won't you ever draw furry porn anymore!?". I just need to rest from it. Though (see point 1) I'm not sure I'll be able to rest
4. I'm sick. And it's not a flu, it's chronical migraine, eye pressure, neuralgy (ribs and collarbone) and innerskull pressure. Those are things that I just can't ignore because they hurt quite much, while also I can't cure them fast entirely. It all requires tons of drugs (I'll need money for it) and reabilitation course. At the time I write this blog I feel good, btw. So it's not everyday suffer, but I experience something from it for about half the time
5. Other health-stuff that is not that painful but quite noticable. Such as corny shoulder and neck tension, and butt-hips being tired of sitting on PC very much (I'm not a "walk everyday" person)
6. Thing from the 5th point but strictly related to drawing - my hand hurts when I draw. I feel pain and tension in the knuckle of a ring finger. I understand that it's an ergonomic problem, but I have no idea how to fix it. I tried be more relaxed when I draw, which causes less control of a line, but that's fine. And it's slightly better, but still exists. And it builds up even more frustration
7. I'm a procrastinator. Worst type - without deadlines, constantly feeling guilty but not able to control it. I try my best to take control over it, make a habit of doing commission each day, but it constantly breaks my plans and I start from zero again and again which is easy + frustration
For now I have about 20 commissions and already need money. My very wish is "Let this dept pit solve itself so I can finally relax", but I know that it's not how it works. What can I do then? Only try my best to discipline myself and work hard to get out of this pit.
That's basically what's going on with me. Don't worry though, I'll be fine. I just want you to understand that I'm not a very disciplined type of person under very uncomfortable circumstances

There was so many people who were responded and was ready to help. I really appreciate that, and want to say thank you to all who was
I didn't even think about that much attention
It will take a lot of time to respond to each person, so I decided to write a journal instead
At first, sorry that I didn't note everyone who was interested, I was thinking a lot and I decided.
I found a person who will help me with my comixes. Hope we'll get a nice working time, and, of course, I will produce good stories for everyone

Let's go straight. I'm planning to start drawing comic stories. Really want to do that and always wanted
There're a lot reasons why I didn't until this moment. Now I feel ready, kinda. It will be mostly porn and both gay and straight stuff, with some kinks and bunch of other dirty things
Of course! As soon as I finish all my current commissions. There's still a lot of them and I can't go myself forward in that, once again - there's many reasons, and I'm a bit slothy guy of course is one of them
But anyway
Since I'm not English speaking person, I need a... Well, not the translator, I do speak pretty well by now, but I'm sure I do lot of mistakes and that things. You know. Not English speaking

This person I'm looking for needs to be and English speaking (British or American or...? Well, let it be just pretty much gooood English no matter where are you from), well educated and know at least bunch of... How it calls, urban words? Also being in the porn theme
It's not just the fixing mistakes. I think it should be the work on the text, together. This person should fix not only the mistakes but meaning of sentences, that things.
And then we'll see. If I'll find him/her and he/she will punch me in the face like "You're doing good and you don't really need my help, idiot" - so be it
But if I'm really bad at this, then great!
Of course I'm willing to pay this person his money for the work. It's up to him/her to accept it or not, anyway I'm fine with it
