I mean it's probably quite obvious from the complete lack of activity here BUT I thought I'd make a quick journal anyway
It's nothing too dramatic, My laptop died a while ago and I'm waiting to order a new one
So for now I have no means of drawing digitally,
Just didn't want people to think i'd abandoned ship or something, I'll be back soon-ish with some doodles

Hi all!
Felt it was about time to make a placeholder journal because my last one was from Christmas like 2 years ago.
I know I'm not the most active or consistent artist anymore, I work full time as a dog groomer now, I have a mortgage and boring adult stuff that takes up alot of my time and energy, but I appreciate those who still check in on my page or view/comment on the occasional art I might post!
To those new to my page, welcome and thanks for watching me! I hope you enjoy my inconsistent upload schedule and chaotic bouncing from interest to interest.

As always I'm not quite dead. I've not had the time nor energy to draw, as you can probably tell by my severe lack of activity. My job is pretty manic around christmas time, I've pretty much just been going to work and sleeping, but I might be able to throw some art out over the christmas break!
Anyway, hope you guys are well and safe. Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Commissions for FUNKO Pops? because I have a problem
Posted 5 years agoBit of an odd one, but instead of doing commissions for money, would any of you guys be interested getting a commission from me in return for a certain pop figure + shipping?
If you have any of the ones on my wishlist let me know! Or you can just purchase them of course. I'm in the UK and these ones tend to be easier to find in the US and such.

I'm still here! I haven't abandoned FA. I've just moved up to full time at work, and as it's a physical job where I'm on my feet all day it doesn't leave me alot of time or energy when I get home.
I'm gonna see how it goes with affording bills and what not, but if it's too much I'll drop it down to 4 days and make up the money via commissions. Because there's no point working full time and ending up with a decent amount of money if i've got literally no time or energy to do anything else.
Anyways, that's where I'm at right now. Just kinda going to work and coming home and going to sleep. Hope you guys are all doing good!

Long story short, the start of this year was kinda crazy, My best friend's mum who I'm also very close to became seriously ill and actually ended up in a coma. She was in a very bad way and we wern't sure she was going to make it. I'm over the moon to say she's made a miraculous recovery and is back home, but that was obviously my main priority for the past few months.
Now things are settling down again, I am still drawing, but due to upping my days at work and trying to focus on things like getting a car and possibly moving house again I haven't got alot of time to spend on art. As far as I know, I won't be opening commissions any time soon because I A) don't have time any more and B) Have a more reliable income now. Not to say I might not open the occasional one though!
Anyways, that's pretty much it for now. I'll try and upload some stuff when I've got time!

Posted 7 years agoHi all, So it's been 4 months since my last journal and 2 months since I posted anything.. yyeesh
I haven't ditched you guys or anything, I've just been at work
I'm only actually contracted to 3 days at work but i've been put in for so much overtime, I'm basically full time up to christmas and it's killing me a bit. I do enjoy my job, I don't dread going in or anything but I do miss having free time. I'm always really tired after work because I'm on my feet all day with pretty much no break. The last thing I wanna do when I come home is draw which is a bit of a bummer. I use to be very active online, now all my art sites are kind gathering dust :/ Seems like a waste and a big chunk of my life that I'm not involved in any more! So it makes me kinda sad.
After christmas I'm gonna speak to my manager about her not putting me in for so much overtime. where tha fuck did I go
Posted 7 years agoOKay so as some of you may know, after like 2 years of being self employed via commissions, I actually got a real life job as a qualified Dog groomer (not a fancy job but I spend all day with puppies so it's pretty good)
This now, of course, means I have alot less time for other stuff. I'm not use to having a full time 9-5 job where I'm on my feet all day, and it's really taking it out of me at the moment. I've not even booted up my computer for about 3 weeks, nevermind drawn anything. I don't have the time or energy at the moment.
As nice as it is to have a job and a consistent salary, I am kinda bummed out at the lack of spare time I have to see my friends, my boyfriend, or to do the stuff I use to love like drawing. It really feels like all I do is go to work pfft.
Hopefully things will settle down and I will be able to find the time and energy again to be more active on here, but for now, I might be a bit quiet. Please don't think I've forgotten you or have lost interest in FA!

Posted 7 years agoI AM NO LONGER A PRIMARILY COMMISSION ARTIST. I now have a job in real life that keeps me financially stable, but I will offer the occasional adopt and commission, it's just not my main source of income any more :)
As some of you may know I've just started a job IRL, and things might be moving a little slow on here while I settle in, so I'm gonna leave this featured so people know when I'll be online, when I'll be working on commissions, and when I'll be away or busy
WORK DAYS:Monday: Day off
Tuesday: At work
Wednesday: Day off/Commissions
Thursday: Day off/Commissions
Friday: At work
Saturday: At work, busy in the evening

Posted 7 years agohey guys! Hope you are all well.
I feel like I need to update y'all on what's gonna be happening on here in the future. Long story short, Ive been offered a job, starting off part time and hopefully moving up to full time.
As you can probably guess, this means I won't have as much time to do commissions, that, and I'll have a stable income, so won't need to rely on them as much financially.
Though I probably won't be closing commissions forever (atleast not until I'm working full time) I just thought i'd let people know not to get your hopes up for me opening for commission slots in the near future. With a full time job, I just won't need to.
I will still probably do adopts from time to time, and obviously I will be completing all remaining work I owe.
but this does mean that I will finally have some time to do some personal artwork which will be nice :D More stuff of Eros and my other characters.
Anyway, just though i'd let y'all know :')

Basically, this week I'm in the process of returning to my dog grooming training course (which I've been absent from for 7 months after breaking my ankle), which takes up a few days in the week that I would normally use to do my work, so things may be a littttle slow for the next week or so.
I'd like to try and get one commission finished every evening, rather then sending out tiny updates to everyone every night. So if I go a bit quiet with your piece of work, please Know it IS coming, i've not forgotten it, It will just be next on the list :D

Posted 7 years agoHmmmmm the struggle of the working artist. My sister assumes I do nothing all day so she's arranged for me to babysit her friend's young puppy until Wednesday, He's still young and needs constant supervision so I highly doubt i'll be able to sit and work until he goes home. I will try and fit in some time while he naps but he's an absolute ball of energy so I just thought i'd warn you guys I might be a bit delayed this week :'D So sorry about that, thanks for your understanding and patience.

Posted 7 years agoOkay so I said recently I was gonna open commissions again, but honestly i've got enough work lined up to keep me going for another like, month maybe? So I really don't need to open at the moment, nor do I want to take on more work when I've already got plenty. So i'll probably open for commissions properly again innnn june.
Sorry if anyone's been waiting to get one, but heck you guys do keep me busy! (not that I don't appreciate all the support/custom) <3

as a late birthday trip! So I will be away from my computer.
Also my main computer isn't set up right now as I'm having a bed delivered tomorrow and so i've had to
pack everything up to make space.
