Hey guys, hope you're all doing well! sorry for the absence, I've just been working through my remaining commissions the past few weeks (not as fast as I would like but, sometimes it takes me a while to get going again after a break)

I'm not feeling 100% at the moment with art or being online, a load of shit happened on tumblr (I won't go into it much) But basically, once again there's been a load of discourse between me and this group of people because I occasionally draw noncon (r*pe/nonconsensual material) (I know right, you post noncon on tumblr are you MAD)

And I'm sure there's a few people probably thinking "hey you draw rape what do you expect?" But is it really worth telling me to kill myself over a drawing, wishing I would "get raped" so I knew what it felt like. I've explained so many times how I know drawing noncon is problematic, but I only enjoy it in fictional works and I find it absolutely disgusting/deplorable in real life occurrences. I'm not really sure what else I can say. Plus, at the end of the day I'm not trying to change anyone's opinions on the subject or try and make them accept it, or god forbid, promote it, as they accuse me of doing. They can find it as disgusting as they want, just accept we have different opinions and move on. I just don't think it's worth all the drama/upset over some drawings.

But yeah, basically I'm just like, tired of being hated and told to kill myself etc. I'm not like super upset, just tired, it's draining, honestly I'm pretty fine with people having their own opinions about what I draw or just not liking me, it's just the constant negativity and hate and talking behind my back i've never been good with, my anxiety can't handle shit like that. There's constant posts being made, reposting my art to make fun of it, they've even started attacking me personally about my age and my art, and they have a discord literally just for taking the piss out of me. All this because they don't like something I draw, it's mad. So yeah basically I'm just too anxious to go on tumblr at the moment.

Anyway, this kinda got away from me but I just needed to vent a bit, I don't feel safe to do so on my blog anymore. Like I said, i'm sure there's mixed opinions on this, but is a drawing (Unless it's literally like, racist/sexist etc propaganda or child porn) ever worth trying to hurt someone over? but that's tumblr for you I guess.

All the people trying to cause shit with me are otherkin so that nullifies their opinion by 70000% to be honest

A general update

Ankle

I'm about 3-4 weeks in to my recovery, I recently saw my surgeon and he said my ankle is looking fantastic so far, and my plaster cast should be coming off on the 5th of december. After that it's 3 months physio, I'm not sure when I'll be allowed to weight-bare on my foot/walk but hopefully it won't be too long.

Work

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who bought me Coffees/donated. I've just got my new drawing tablet and so far it's great! I can't thank you all enough for your generosity, especially in this pretty inconvenient time.

Secondly, I'm looking to get back on my PC (Drawing on a laptop is just too small a workspace for me) I'm just waiting on a keyboard and mouse (My rabbit ate through the wires while I was in hospital..) So hopefully if all goes well and I can comfortably sit at my PC without hurting my ankle, I should be able to access all the files of the people who are currently waiting on commissions, adopts, and adopt edits etc. I certainly want everything done before christmas.

Providing I can work at my PC comfortably again and my new tablet behaves, work should be back on track, and then I'll be doing some YCHs/adopts/commissions to save up for christmas presents for my family.

In the meantime, you can still help me out on the run up to christmas by feeding my tip jar or buying me a coffee, even the smallest amount helps enormously!

Woo just an update. So As most of you know I broke my ankle a week ago. I've had the surgery and am recovering at home. I'm sore and incredibly BORED but nevermind. I will be in a full cast for 4-5 more weeks if all goes well, and physio for 3 months. Wow! What fun!

In relation to art and commission work, I can't sit at my computer and work for now. I have to keep my leg elevated.

On the other hand I have my sister's laptop, and I will try my best to get my drawing tablet working with it so I can do some work. However, any files that were originally on my computer, I can't work on at the moment, because I don't have access to them. So that would be any adopts that need tweaking and sending to owners and commissions I've already started work on.

On the other OTHER hand, my drawing tablet is definatly on it's way out. There's a problem with the cable port and it keeps disconnecting so we might never get that to work properly again.

On my other secret third hand, I have ye old pencil and paper available, so in order to possibly buy a new drawing tablet I might be offering traditional sketch commissions (obviously at a cheaper price) I mean I can draw porn and stuff okay on paper..

Anyway. People waiting on commissions/Adopt edits, we may be looking at about late November/early December being when I can work again. I'm really annoyed at myself that this has happened, especially before christmas. But we'll try and work something out.

Oh god here comes one of those journals..

Hey friends! Hope you are all well. Unfortunately I am not so well.

My back is absolutely shot. It's been bad for a few months, it started off as just achey, then went to a painful twinge, and now on a bad day I can't get out of bed, I can't sit down properly, can't walk, sleep, can barely use the toilet, and I'm struggling to do my training. I'm hoping to book in for physio this week because it's getting ridiculous, I'm 23 and currently have the mobility of an 85 year old, and I'm in constant pain, doing the smallest things is agony.

On top of that, I've just got a really hectic month. This is the final week of my Dog grooming course (And of course my back goes now, great timing) I've got my driving theory on Wednesday, and my coursework is overdue for the course. So that's 5 days of training, my car theory, and a big fat file full of coursework that goes towards my final grade.

I'm also shamefully behind on two commissions I owe from MONTHS ago, Which is really getting me down because I sort of pride myself on fast turn around times, a few days to a week or so at the most, but I've just not been able to find time at all. I hate making people wait, And I'd hate for anyone to think I'm taking the piss out of them by turning out work so slow.

However! Once this hellish week is over, I will have finished the practical side of my Dog grooming course, and will be free to just do commissions again full time! Which I honestly can't wait for, I love working to my own schedule and being able to produce commissions at a fast pace. I will eventually have to look for a groomers job, but I think I will take a month's break before I do that and just do commissions like I use to.

Anyways, just needed a good whinge really. Thank you also for all your support and kind messages about my Rat passing away! I appreciate them all. Hope you are all well! I'll be properly active again once this awful week is over.

RAT UPDATE:

Hey all! First and foremost, thank you to everyone for the support, and of course the donations in regards to my Rat's vet visit. I literally could not have taken them without your guy's help, they would have had to wait over the weekend and that could have been too late for my old boy Percy.

I took them in this afternoon after work. Percy, Unfortunately is in a bad way, He's an old rat, and he's got a bad respiratory illness that, due to his age, he could struggle to overcome, so the vet said she was very worried for him. He's on 5 days of Baytril and if this doesn't work he'll be moved on to some sort of relaxant tablets to help him breathe easier.

Frank should be fine, he's a big healthy boy and only has a regular respiratory infection, and a course of baytril should fix him up.

I'll be keeping a close eye on them, their breathing already sounds better just from their injections at the vets, so fingers crossed, I will keep you guys updated!

Again thank you so much, I'm humbled by the generosity shown to me today, and me and my rats are so grateful for your help <3

MOVING HOUSE:

Remember how I said I was moving? Well this weekend is the big one we're hiring a van and shifting all the furniture now that the house has been decorated. I'll be staying at the house over the weekend, and won't have access to my computer/drawing table during that time. I should be back to working on commissions mid week. I am to be open for commissions again by the end of next week too, after clearing the last of my list :)

Just updating those waiting on their commissions, I've only got 3 people still waiting on work now but they've been waiting longer then I'd normally be happy with so I just thought I'd let you know I'm aware of what needs doing and finishing and I'm planning to get as much done as possible within the next week c:

At the moment I'm just struggling to find time since starting my training course. I'm only in work 3 days a week, but then I see my boyfriend another day, my best friend another day, and then I have about 2 days left in the week to do anything else I need to do including commissions and preparing to move house. So I'm a bit swamped at the moment but I'll do my best to get as much done as I can within the next week.

You know acid reflux right? That form of indigestion where it gives you a really bad burning stomach ache just under your ribs and makes your burps taste like rancid rotten eggs?

I use to get it quite alot at University (because our diet was crap) but since I started taking tablets after any potentially triggering meals I've managed to keep it at bay. but last night I obviously didn't take my tablet in time and OH BOY. WHAT A MISERABLE NIGHT I WAS IN FOR.

I had to try and sleep sitting up in bed because lying down makes it far worse, stomach in agony, trying desperately not to fucking belch because the smell and taste of the sulfur knocks me sick. This went on from about 1am to 9am this morning before I finally managed to fall asleep and it went away.

So I've fucked my sleep schedule and missed out on crucial commission work time all because of stupid acid reflux. I'd honestly rather have pretty much anything else, Vomiting, the shits, ANYTHING other then not being able to lie down and sleep because your stomachs tryna digest itself and you can't help belching rotton eggs. And I swear it lasts for HOURS. UGH. It's also put me off eggs for life.
