So, I am down to one work shift left before I get out of the service, and I went to PT today as was required. Let's just say it didn't end all that well. I pulled a groin, almost hyper-extended my knee, and I got tripped up by accident and landed straight on my right wrist. Lucky for me, I'll be fine with some ice and rest. How did you find furry?

I found it slowly. It started with StH when I was a kid, then I finally came up with what would later become Qa'a in Y2K.

What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?

Mostly the typical stuff, fascination with the possibilty of animals walking upright and talking.

What's Furry to you?

Folks who appreciate/are fascinated by anthropomorphic figures. [I didn't change this one, Jen. I wouldn't've come up with anything better.]

If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?

I would try to explain it as best I could, since I'm pretty terrible with such things. If that sexual question was asked, I'd simply say, "The few ruin it for the many."

Overall friendliness, really.

1) I spend the majority of my time asleep, especially on swing shifts, where there's nothing to go upon getting off of work.

2) I am from Columbus, Ohio, and will forever love my home city, no matter what happens to it.

3) I have this insane fear of doctors. It's so bad that even if I have a life-threatening problem, I will not go to see a doctor for fear of the person being a corrupt bastard that wants to kill me for money, just like the guy that essentially killed my grandmother.

4) I do not have a passport. Never really required one, and thankfully I'm still on orders over here, lest I get stuck in Frankfurt between trips.

5) I can interchange any form of clothing imaginable with my grandfather, who is fifty-three years my senior. Being that we both are the same height and wear the same sized clothing as well as shoes, we actually pulled this stunt once at a Waffle House.

6) I have no full blooded siblings, only having a half-brother aged 14 (almost 15) and a half-sister aged 13.

7) I'm naturally attracted to brunettes and blonds. I also have a certain thing for women with a nice set of grip-able hips, so extremely skinny femmes need not apply, lest you have a kick-ass personality. -chuckle-

Damn, this game is addicting! I started out simply playing it as an alternative to CoD: WaW...But now it's dominating my playing time. Anyway, the reason for this journal is that I think Qa'a would be either a sniper or scout, if I were (and I'm thinking about it) to get a commission of him done "in game". I play primarily as a scout, and my XBOX Live tag is PK QBKebauet987 if you wanna look for me.

Should I make the attempt to go to Chicago for MFF this year? I've not been to Chicagoland since Boot Camp...

So, here I am, sitting in the terminal at KCVG (Cincinnati for those who don't know ICAO codes), typing about on my computer and looking at the pictures I've missed over the past weekend. As for the con itself? Good God, I've never had so much fun. There was a crew of seven of us from Furry-Within to include Gadget, Ian, Zerrif, Vir, Stakie, Mito and myself. I actually think I bogged them down a bit with my right knee, but they were totally compassionate about it, knowing that the knee was bad. I bought a total of I think three commissions at the Artists' Alley, but only one was for me. -chuckle- Zerrif and Gadget are both poor college students, so I got them both a badge from  kalikafutago (Awesome person, btw), which brought Mito to get one from her as well. I bought all of them with the exception of Stakie and Vir food, but they both got a ticket to Kage and 2's charity show, so I bought everyone at least something.

Speaking of the charity show...Kage and 2 both signed my now retired black and red CBJ hat (I'll get another recognizable hat, I swear it!). Kage wrote "Fuck you!" in German (he was drunk, as was 2.), while the gryphon went with a typical "Bawk". Funny dudes, 2 and Dr. Conway.

Well, I think I may have to write my con report in parts...My hands are starting to cramp up. Anyway, look forward to a couple more entries.

1 - Do you and your "Character" look alike?
For the most part, yes. I used to have long hair, and I've got long fang teeth. Oh yeah, I don't have any piercings, either.

2 - Do you and your "Character" share attires?
95% of the time, yes.

3 - Do you share the same sexuality as your Character?
Mhmm. Straight as a 2 b' 4 (Two by four for those who don't speak "hick").

4 - If you hadn’t already made your Character look like you, if you would like to change how he/she looked like to make him/her look more like you, how would you think he/she would look like?
I would have to grow my hair back and get my ears pierced (not happening)...Other than that, Qa'a and I are the same.

5 - Did you work hard to develop your Character? What is the (brief) history of your Character?
Qa'a's still a work in progress, just as I am. So, in my honest opinion, I don't think I'll be able to fully tell his story until I'm really really old.

6 - Do you and your Character share relationship status?
-chuckle- Nope. Not at all. I only wish I was as lucky as Qa'a at some points. Then again, I'm a bit more on the traditional side than he is. I would rather put all my time into one lucky lady than worry about satisfying myself all the time. However, Qa'a deep down is looking for someone he can love like that. So I guess we're kind of alike in that way.

7 - Do you find yourself jealous or upset if you get paired with someone you don’t like or your partner does?
Uh, what? -chuckle-

8 - How would you like your character not to be used?
Nothing extreme. Qa'a may be a little -cough- insane...But it's all in the name of fun...So no overly fetishy stuff when it comes to sex, none of the vore shit...Stuff like that.

9 - What’s your Character’s specialty?
Qa'a's got a few things he excels at. One of the lesser known is that he's a genius as a meteorologist. The only thing he can smell is rainwater, and is accurate to within fifteen minutes of a rain event. He's also a good forecaster without using that trick. Otherwise, he's a good hockey player, sniper, and he's got a good heart to him.

10 - At a score of 1-10 how much are you and your Character alike?
8.75. Appearance and his style of not procrastinating are the major things that differ.

A commission featuring Qa'a (obviously), doing his thing. That is, skating as part of his training regimen. What that entails is him on inline skates (more specifically, a pair of Mission Commander "Blacks"), going down a street with a parachute tied to his back, much like football players working on speed drills.

If any of my watchers who take the time to read this know someone who could pull a mid-stride pose really, really well...Let me know, so that I may inquire about a commission. I've got a few ideas of who would do well with it, but I want more of a consensus.

On a side note...29 days until AnthroCon! Oh yeah! I just need to buy my plane ticket (USD$1100, I'm very picky about my airports.) and get my leave paper signed, then I'm on my way. Whoohoo!
