Momocon 2014 <3
Posted 11 years ago... was awesome. It was great for my first con! I saw so many things things and did a lot of stuff that I had never experienced before. I know there is still a whole day left, but I think I'm all partied out. I had a blast and took a lot of pictures. Sadly, I don't think I met anyone from FA, but maybe next year! I did see some really nice fursuiters walking around though. ^_^
On another note, aside from being encouraged to work on my drawing skills (or lack thereof) I have some decks to prepare this summer break heh. Vanguard, Buddyfight, and Magic are my new obsessions.

I just ordered my first tablet! But... what art program?
Posted 12 years agoI finally did it. I ordered my first tablet. I feel like I just took "One small step for art, one giant leap for artkind!"
I want to work really hard on my art abilities (or lack thereof) this year. So I'm hoping this will be super helpful ^_^
But I do have questions, if anyone would mind suggesting?
I have a mac. And to go along with my drawing, I'll need a suitable art program. What are some good ones for a beginner? And maybe even free.. since I'm a college kid and has no monies @.@

Posted 12 years agoI was wondering if anyone knows of artists who would be willing to draw some OCs of mine. My brain is practically alight with all the freaking characters bouncing off the walls and none of them have gotten to be created simply because of
a) a major adopt rampage of mine haha, I'm a sucker for cute adoptables
and
b) general laziness (seriously working on it, it is a process :P)
Anywho if anyone has a artist to recommend I get in touch with, I would super appreciate it, since I wouldn't dare attempt to draw my own OC yet, my failure at bringing them to life would probably hurt my feelings. >.>

Posted 12 years agoFor all my lovely fursons that care to know. I'm ba~ack *creepy person voice* But yes, I have not been around doing what I like (faving, Stalking *cough* er, watching, buying, and all around perusing) on FA for quite a while now. I can't believe how many streams I have missed T.T
But a lot of stuff has happened. I got an A on a history test (woot!) My sister got married to the guy of her dreams (her dress was soooo pretty guys) and my mama got a new apartment (I finally have my own bathroom >.< yay upgrades!)
And such with life, but I figured I would make use of my journals and say "Hullo~!" to everyfurry out and about. See you all around sometime! XD

Posted 12 years agoI'm super happy and excited. It's my birthday. It only comes once a year. I'm going to eat lots of cake and have fun ^^ You only turn nineteen once after all. It's probably not important enough to journal about, but my excitement was overflowing -shrugs- I couldn't help myself hehe. :D

guitarist67 is having an awesome pay it forward style art and music raffle ^^ It'd be awesome if a lot of people enter. The more contestants, the more winners. :)
On another note, since it is pay it forward style. ^^ I'm doing a raffle as well, because part of the coolness of the contest comes from the fact that everyone who enters must do a raffle of their own. XD So I'll be doing sketches in true movie style. Three people will be randomly chosen. :) Can you say random number generator? All you have to do is:
1. Pick a number between one and one hundred. (I don't expect 100 people will enter anyways)
2. Also, give me the links to your character that you wish to be drawn. (I wish I was good enough to do specific requests, but in all honesty I will probably only pull off simple poses or normal, forward facing, shots. But I promise to make it look as nice as possible ^^;)
3. Post a journal, showing that you're also paying it forward for the awesome FA community in your own way. (I'm an okay drawer ^^; but I love doing it. So I hope it's something you love to do. Even if it's writing stories, why not raffle off oneshots featuring people's sonas? That might be cool. Be creative :D)
See? Three steps. ^^ Nice and simple. Once it's been a week or so (whenever I guess as many people who want to enter have entered, heh) I will pick the three random numbers and tell the winners that they have won. And then I get down to the sketching! ^^
