blah! for some reason my tablet just stopped working with SAI, first I thought it was a driver problem but it works on PS ok.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling didnt work, checked my settings ot see if the tablet function had come unchecked in the Others option, thts all fine.

Rebooted computer several times but no joy:( least its just one programme not the tablet itself.

art currently on hold as cant do it till I fix it!

Sorry for the lack of updates and art. I've been struggling with being poorly for a while. I have some new medicine to try which has been helping a little bit.

Still having major problems with my Teaaching, should have started my final teacher training in September, its now February and still not started it! as a consequence of it dragging on so long, im currently not working at the moment either, as my manager didnt know what was happening with my teaching and gave my hours to someone else. They are trying to sort something out as im still waiting for my course, but in the mean time im trying to apply for other stuff just in case.

I am going to EF this year, so you shall see me:) not sure what suit im taking yet... might not take Mulder foxy.. we will have to see.

So will look forward to catching up with people there, hopefully:) I need a break! havent been away for a few years now and could just do with a much needed break and some tlc.

well, today is my birthday, I was hoping that hiding under the covers it wouldn't find me but alas it has!

Unfortunately I seem to have caught some kind of virus so I may have to spend most of it in bed! I had gone to the doctors as it has lasted over 2 months and they told me to come back if it carries on! (2 months of being ill obviously inst long enough!)

Just taken an anti-sickness thingy I got from the chemist in the hope it will get rid of my ill symptoms enough to enjoy my birthday!

thought I got better last month, alas not! been poorly for the past month. Cant even get on a train atm without getting travel sick and im never travel sick. Got appointment on tuesday to see whats up.

Im hoping they look properly and not just do their normal "youve probably got a virus go away" as its been over a month of the same symptoms.

Also my wisdom tooth decided to crack:(! 15 years ive been trying to have it out! but they dont like taking out wisdom teeth over here. Now its broken. I was scared it was going to cost me over £200 to fix, but they filled in the crack and took an x-ray. Its right on my nerve...ouch! Got to go back in 2 weeks and theyll decide if they will take it out. I hope they will cse 15 yrs of wisdom tooth pain isnt fun!. But my bank account hopes they dont take it out as it will cost over £200.

in other news... birthday next week! wisdom tooth and tummy best be nice! got the day off for my birthday, first time in 6 years ive not worked on my birthday:) Not doing much as Rakhan is on holiday atm. But it will be nice to just not work:)

my graphics tablet is getting on a bit and the pressure isnt as strong so im having to push hard to get the same results.

So as its my birthday coming up/Christmas I was going to put a new one on my list and wanted to see what people might reccommend.

My operating system is Vista so it would need to be Vista compatible. :)

got a reply back from my university saying they cant fix the problem, this is ridiculous as it means any funding I may have been entitled to is now gone. I need to fund the last part of my teacher training and not sure how yet.

im sure... patience and time will work things out:/

got lurgy atm, I had a feeling I was going to come down with something as I have felt out of sorts and drained for over a week. Hopefully it will go away so I can go back to commissions properly.

Other that that.... my life hasnt particularily been exciting! been mostly working on commissions over summer and trying to claw any hours I can from work to try help with my funding issue.

now I have taken yucky medicine, I am sending myself back to sleep to try sleep off this lurgy, I heard my neighbours may be going away for the weekend = peace.

So earlier I opened commissions because I need to fund my course due to a lack of funding due to a University messup. I only have 3 months left of my course and then I have graduated as a Teacher.

However.. things have gone from bad to worse:( I have been fighting them all summer trying to get them to fix things and thought things were on the way up. There was a gliimer i might be able to get some funding after all.

Wrong!

I got a letter from the Council, in the UK you pay something called Council tax, which is money to the government, this is compulsory and pays for our free healthcare and also pays for the police, firebrigade, and other things such as road maintenence etc. However if you are a full time teaching student, you are exempt from paying it as you cannot work and do the course at the same time. So I had a nice surprise when I had a letter from them saying I owed them money! I go to check my course details and find im entered on the wrong course! I am now entered as part time not full time.

Being entered as part time makes the Government think you are able ot work, and therefore pay the taxes, it also tells the student loan company who pay fees etc that I am able to work and therefore i do not qualify for any financial assisstance and my student loan is is now well and truly denied.

As if this wasnt bad enough, I now have a letter from the bank to tell me theyve changed my account from a student one to a normal one, and changed my student loan to an unauthorised loan complete with fees, because im not classed as a full time student! aarrggghhhhhhh!

2 Weeks it has taken to get any reply from the University, and it basically tells me they havent made a mistake. Which is a pile of rubbish! They are refusing to rectify the mistake. I am in my course EVERY day, from 8am- 6pm or later 5 days a week plus all my lesson plans and assessments over the weekend and evenings.. so where do I have time ot work? Where is that part-time?

I am very upset. Unless something is done or I can find £5000 to now not only pay the university but also now the bank and the council I can kiss being a teacher goodbye and all I have worked for for 6 years will be gone -_-;

I tried to help by going back to my old job, but all they could offer me was 10 hours a week, last month I got paid £70 and my trainfare to get to work was £132 you can see the problem there:( My shifts have gone upto 25 hours now, still not enough. My hours are middle of the day till the evening, meaning I cant do anything in the morning as it takes 2 hours to get to work, and by the time I get home its so late I hardly have time for art, hence why ive cut my commission list to just a few at a time.

I have 4 weeks to find £5000 :( going to talk to my bank manager tommorow and see what they say. I feel so terribly sad at the moment. Why do these things all happen to me.

These past few weeks have been particularily hard. Had problems on my teacher training which has led me to repeat my final placement in september of which im not sure how to fund yet, and have discovered a good friend of mine is very very poorly:(

Unfortunately it falls a week later this year, which means it falls on the first week of term in the UK for schools, and *if* I get a Teaching position after I qualify in June, this will mean that I cant go to EF , as it wont look particularily good if my first week teaching the teacher is on holiday:P


if I dont get a job this time round, then I can go:P but I wont know that until very late in the year..

Well a new year has started and its been a while since my last post so thought I should write something:) been a little quiet as, in between heart stuff and my teacher training there is not enough hours in the day!

My heart stuff seems to have completely knocked me out since May/June had complications from the heart surgery that led me to have to be rushed to hospital for emergency surgery where I was very poorly. Since this ive had a fair few setbacks, all the muscles in my left leg seem to have gone a bit wrong. Ive been unable to walk, been on crutches, been back in hospital. And my immune system seems to have gone since my surgery as I have got every single illness under the sun so far and have been pretty much ill since Late September which hasnt been very fun when trying to do Teacher training and assignments.

Hopefully with 2012 now here it is a new year and a new start and hopefully by this time next year I will be writing as a fully flegded Teacher:)

Well today is my birthday, but im still injured and had to leave all my birthday stuff at home because i am in lectures all day. By the time i get home my birthday will be finished. Oh well. Always next year:)

My teaching course is more than a little intense, so I haven't had time to come online much:( added to which I damaged my foot in the first week of my course, and due to the intensity of the course was unable to take time off to let it rest, so have been dragging myself around for the past few weeks.

I found out where I was going to be sent for my first school today, we get sent to two, one is now until Christmas and the other is from February. I am training to be a Junior school teacher ( age 7-11) and I have been placed in a Nursery school, on an island. The island is close to my home and linked to the mainland via a bridge, its just a bit awkward to get to.

I can't change schools as there is still half the course that does not have a school to go to because due to changes in Government rules a lot of schools don't want to take trainee teachers at the moment.

But I will make the most of it:) might enjoy it:)

recently had heart surgery which went a bit wrong, and get a lot more tired then I used to. Also about to start becoming a trainee teacher so have been sorting alot of stuff out for that.

After the trauma of finding out about my heart, it was nice to have a break and go to EF before the start of my teaching.

I will get round to doing a proper report later, but I had a nice time and met alot of nice people^^ hopefully I can go again next year, though the date has moved back to Sepember which might mean I cant as the schools go back.
