Posted 4 years agoToday I got deferred for 2 months from my plasma center, because their machine broke and couldn't return my red blood cells. So I have to wait for my body to naturally reproduce them.
Well, that's ALL if my income. I am applying for jobs, but I have been for over a year without any luck, too...

Plasma donating was rent, it was commissions. And currently my bank is overdrafted $60 because it processed a payment 5 days early and I didn't have the funds. I still owe an artist $10 off my last commission. Basically, this royally fucked me over.
I'm not expecting much, most of you don't know me and I get that. But if you can spare anything, it would be greatly appreciated!

Posted 5 years agoMy life is kind of imploding right now. My parents are splitting, dad is in a crisis center. I'm trying to keep at least my brother and I afloat but I'm jobless, really only able to do daily $100 gigs every now and then through a temp agency. I don't know if I'll me able to pay the internet bill, much less get enough food.
I'm sending out job applications to anyone who'll listen locally so hopefully I'm able to find some stability soon, but with covid still going strong in the US I've not had any luck yet. But if in the next couple of weeks I randomly disappear, that's why

Posted 5 years agoWent to what was supposed to be a peaceful protest but fucking white boys started throwing rocks at the cops- against the pleas of the black people we were there to support- so I got shot three times and can't speak due to tear gas inhalation, made worse by the screaming/chanting that went with the regular protest. So I'll either be online way more or way less
