A few things in the pipeline
Posted 5 years agoJust felt like listing some ideas I plan/want to do lately. Don't take this as a "coming soon" post, just getting thoughts out there.
- Finishing up a pic involving a certain dangerous alien
- Working on a pic of an unlikely duo from the Super Mario series
- Might try and do a very odd pick from a certain sci-fi MMOFPS
I'm being intentionally vague cause I don't wanna get hopes up too much or start a "Deaathtraap is doing ___!" brigade, but if you can decode those, you get my mildly impressed praise.
Okay bye.

New Game Soon!
Posted 5 years agoHello everyone. Remember that Infinite game I posted a while back? Well I'm gonna be dropping a new game in the coming weeks for your playing pleasure!
I don't wanna give any spoilers, but I can tell you that it's far more ambitious than the last game in terms of content, and is going to have some huge surprises.
I hope everyone will enjoy it. Until then, look out for it when it arrives!

PSA on uploading artwork on FA
Posted 5 years agoI see a lot of awfully compressed and downscaled images on here and just wanted to give a tip for avoiding it, cause it's ruining a lot of very large and detailed art, especially comics.
If you upload an image larger than 1280x1280, FA automatically scales it down to fit that size, compressing it to death and even removing transparency. While there's no way to avoid this, you can fix it afterwards.
To fix this, click on "Change Submission File" on your post, and reupload the art there. FA won't downscale this new image, and it'll come out exactly as you want it to.
While FA does, sort of, explain this in the submission page, it's very vague and poorly worded, so I thought I'd just post this here instead of informing everyone one by one.
Enjoy your new, crispy images!

Who likes Warframes?

Would you be interested in TK stories by me?
Posted 5 years agoI've been writing stories whenever I can't get the motivation to draw. I never really think about posting them as they're really just for my own amusement, but some of them are things I feel people would enjoy.
Just curious how many people would be interested in reading them. I mean I'll probably post one or two regardless.

Saw the Sonic movie
Posted 5 years agoDon't have much to say. Sonic was cute. Was pretty entertaining, not as bad as I expected. I don't think any of this is too spoiler-y but be careful I guess?
There's just one part that was...curious.
The movie had this weird recurring thing of Sonic's feet. I honestly can't explain it any other way. Robotnik got a scan of Sonic's foot while he was tracking him, people kept talking about his ratty shoes (before he gets the red ones) that hurt his feet, there's a close-up of his feet in socks. Like, I can't say it was a fetish thing but come on, it was a little weird how so many plot points revolved around it.
So if you see an influx of Sonic feet pics (not from me), there's the explanation.

Reviewing my work from 2019
Posted 6 years agoJust decided a month too late that I wanna review my art I did in 2019. Let's go.
Infinite Punishment! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/34184695/
I'm very pleased with the results on this one. I think it's cleaner and more polished than pretty much anything else I've posted, and I love the way his feet came out. I wish his expression looked better but I'm still working on that aspect of my art. All in all I think it's pleasant to look at and the concept is solid.
Katia: Laugh http://www.furaffinity.net/view/34131719/
It was honestly a toss-up between this and Infinite for first place. I really love her feet and I think I got very close to Prequel's art style, both in format and the animation. I also enjoyed writing the page, which I think really tops off the whole thing.
Frogged! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/34133795/
I did this very quickly after Katia, posting it on the same day. I do think the whole thing looks a bit half-assed, especially the ler, and it isn't as clean as I would have liked it to be, but I'm still happy with it and I think it's good for a very quick execution on a simple idea. I'd love to do more high-speed pics like this in the future.
Let's Get Funky! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/34238652/
I think my art benefits greatly from being a quick execution on a cute, simple idea, and I think this one came out good considering that. I have no huge gripes for once, though if I had more time I might have tried to ink it.
Cooper Caught at Last http://www.furaffinity.net/view/34159754/
I had this idea for a long, long time and finally just snapped and did it. As opposed to the previous items, I think this one suffered from attempted speed. It ended up talking much longer than anticipated and proved much more difficult to color and shade than I would have liked. Drawing it was surprisingly easy considering the complexity though. By the time I posted it I was mostly just sick of working on it. Despite that I still enjoy it, and I think it's a cute take on Sly that I haven't seen.
FEH-HEHLL IN LOVE WITH A GI-HIR-HIRLLLL! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/32858367/
I think this came out great and I loved emulating the style of the original work. I originally planned to fully animate something, but with very little skill in Blender's 2D animation toolset, I had to settle for this simple loop instead (a recurring theme, apparently).
No Bad Targets http://www.furaffinity.net/view/33787671/
This came out surprisingly cohesive considering Wolf was a total afterthought. I drew this cute bunny thing I came up with and the rest just happened. I still love the bun and I'll certainly be doing him again sometime.
Upgrade Issues http://www.furaffinity.net/view/32076482/
For my first piece posted here, I find it ironic that it's probably the most solid out of all of them. The colors and lighting are clean, and I think she came out looking nice (though she got saddled with my signature "what the heck am I doing" spikeball of a head).
So that's it. I only included drawn things, not 3D stuff. What do you guys think? Anything I can improve on? Agree or disagree? Feel free to comment. See ya.

Modeling is hard. :(
Posted 6 years agoI'm trying to model something as fan art and I'm suddenly reminded how difficult it is to make it cohesive and not a tangled mess of polygons. Unfortunately there's not exactly swathes of information about modeling three-toed feet or extremely stylized characters, so I'm relying on every bit of general modeling advice I can remember and being careful.
Hopefully I'll have something to show off soon though. It's slow-going but I will survive.

A little preview coming at some point
Posted 6 years agoI made a little animated thing (literally like 2 seconds long) but FA is being crappy and won't let me upload it. I'll try and post it later when it lets me. It involves dinosaurs.

Random Things About Me #001
Posted 6 years agoIn which I tell you random things you didn't need to know.
---
I'm totally straight, not into guys in real life at all. But I've realized that when it comes to furries, I tend towards male characters more.
I find this interesting considering I only like female humans, and human males kind of repulse me, sexually speaking (which I assume is normal for most heterosexual men). But give them fur and animal features and I find them adorable and often more appealing than females.
Totally random, but I just noticed this looking through my gallery and some old sexytickletorture stuff. Most of it is male, which you figure I would have noticed before. Maybe most female characters are too sexualized for my taste, IDK.
So yeah. Weird, huh?

Stupid Thoughts #001 | Furries
Posted 6 years agoWhere I'll be cataloguing my dumb random ramblings.
---
I realized just a moment ago as I accidentally opened the front page -- and was assailed with fursuiters doing... questionable activities -- that despite the fact that I draw almost exclusively "furry" art and really like animal characters, I find a lot of furry things that people consider par for the course extremely cringy, if you'll pardon the term. One might look at me and think I am a furry who hates flurries or something.
Funnily enough, after being around here long enough and interacting with a lot of furries, it seems as though MOST of them actually dislike (or at the very least are discomforted by) these "Super Furries". The ones that people consider to be representative of the whole fandom. You know, the ones who coined the "bulge" memes and get into RP orgies in the comment sections of your art.
It seems most of us just act...normal. We're just here because we like these weird things. Most of us are anonymous and represent ourselves with furry characters not because we literally think we are these characters, but because it's fun to immerse yourself (and let's be honest, most of us wouldn't want our friends, family, or others to know about this).
So yeah. That's all. If I ever seem reluctant to identify as a furry, that's because I personally think it's silly to identify oneself by things one likes, or throw oneself fast into a group based only on a common taste when that group holds so many other opinions one does not themselves. I like anthro characters. They're cool and fun. It's not my identity, or even part of it.
Thanks for wasting braincells reading this. Bye.

What's something you think I could improve on?
Posted 6 years agoThings listed so far:
- I don't do clean linework. I'm definitely aware of this one, and I'll definitely try and start inking in the future.
---
That's right, I'm asking you to tell me what sucks about my art! (Not really, I'm just asking for constructive criticism.)
I was looking at one of the artists I follow and thought to myself that there's this one thing they always do in their art that just looks awful and makes no sense, and they do it for every single character they draw. I realized that unless they asked people for criticism, they might never learn about this thing and never improve, since it would be rude to randomly point it out otherwise.
So that's what I'm doing! I feel I've improved a lot lately and have been getting really into drawing habitually, and I've started to see some things I typically do wrong. However, I'm sure there's lots of things I don't know about at all, and I'd love to hear them.
Don't worry about being too picky or offending me. I just genuinely want to hear what you all think I should work on in my art.

I'll give you a hint: it's the main character of a certain user-input-driven webcomic.
Just an opinion on something.
Posted 6 years agoJust felt like posting this here since I didn't feel like turning it into a debate with the person, since they seemed to have made up their mind and probably wouldn't have changed it no matter what I said. I'm sure some of you can figure out what I'm talking about but I'm not going to say directly.
A relatively popular TK artist posted something that many people -- most, it seemed -- commented made them very uncomfortable and disgusted. It was still a TK pic, but the subject and setting of it made it seem particularly depraved to many; the image featuring the abuse -- mainly via tickling, but some other methods -- of a type of individual who is actually vulnerable to abuse in real life.
The artist brushed off most of the criticism in various ways, but I'd like to give my counterargument to some of their points.
I'd like to say first that I do not mean to imply that this person is simply justifying something they know is wrong or anything. They appeared totally content with their work.
One of these points was that people around here are used to seeing "depraved" things on FA all the time, and they seemed to imply that people shouldn't be upset by their art because of this. I also assume they're referring to the general "yuckiness" of many people's fetishes and such.
I know I'm just screaming into the void on this website when it comes to morality or ethics or whatever. I know this is heavily based on my opinion, but that's the title, and I know many people agree with me.
I think some things just hit too close to home. I know that sounds hypocritical what with all we draw and write and enjoy in this community; we draw and write things about characters getting kidnapped, strapped down and tickled for our enjoyment. Characters get sent to prisons to be tickled forever. They cry and beg, etc. You're probably getting turned on by this description alone.
We enjoy it BECAUSE it's unrealistic. There are no tickle prisons. Your OC isn't real (sorry). Nobody's that ticklish to a feather. There's no such thing as witches, let alone ones obsessed with tickling. It's like fighting in movies: it's more fun that way, even if it isn't realistic and couldn't possibly happen.
I think that's commonly a key difference between art people enjoy and the kind that makes people say "what the fuck" and unwatch an artist. The realism of it, the thought and meditation put into it, mixed with a clear message: "I get turned on by this."
Some of this art just makes most people draw a very clear line and say "too far." In my years of being around here, it almost always gets drawn at real loss of value as a person or human suffering of certain groups of people. It's just my opinion, but for me, I think these things just have no place in what I enjoy.
And frankly, I think that's why these give most of us a sick, disgusted feeling, one that seems to point a finger at ourselves as well. These kind of images draw us in with a cute pair of feet or an appealing art style or being created by someone we usually enjoy work from, but one we see the grander image, we realize what we've been turned on by and despise it.
I know what some of you are thinking: "it's just fantasy, you wouldn't really do any of the things you draw to real people." I think that's kinda the point. They're not real. Not even close. These works are too real.
I know this is a huge, wall-of-text rant about a stupid picture. I guess it feels personal to me this time. I know some will disagree or whatever. This isn't an "if you like this stuff go to hell" post; I have nothing against you, just the art. If you're going to disagree I only ask that you be reasonable and not jump to insults or anything.

Things I'm Working On
Posted 6 years agoThought I'd just give an update on some pics I'm working on, just in case you care to know and maybe so I can get some feedback on them.
Working on now:
- More tickle games. MORE.
Somewhat worked on:
- A sequel to No Bad Targets. I'd say I'm about 80-90% done with the linework on it. I'd like to do some more detailed shading than the first, though that doesn't really take long.
- Another NSFW pic that's kinda...difficult to explain. It's MF/M if that matters. I swear I'm not gonna try and make a habit of NSFW stuff, I just happen to have a few ideas right now. I laid down some fast sketching and a bit of structure, but some things like faces are giving me trouble due to the angle.
Just ideas/barely worked on:
- A pic with Isabelle as ler for once.
- Some more DeaathTech stuff, one being kinda a gallery of lees or something in a mass-tickle-torture facility. Not totally settled yet.
- Yooka?
Finished from this list:
- Frogger: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/34133795/
- Sly Cooper: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/34159754/
- Funky Kong: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34238652/
Anyways yeah. Hope any of those appeal to you.

Confession time (as if anybody was fooled)
Posted 6 years agoSo for any of you who didn't already put two and two together, I might as well just say this and put it all to rest because it's honestly exhausting.
Here it goes.
Yes. I am/was sexytickletorture/sexytt. Shocker.
Apparently my art is as recognizable as a fingerprint and everyone knew it was me from the moment I posted Upgrade Issues, which honestly disturbs me a good deal.
Why hide it?
Honestly? I don't know. I ask myself that and my inner voice just kinda shrugs.
Maybe because I didn't like the precident it set. I didn't want to be another one of those drama queen artists that go all "woe is me" and leave, only to reappear a month later. The difference here is that I don't want to be "back". I'm not sexytt. I left in the first place because I was addicted to this stuff and it was ruining my life. I just wanted an outlet to get it out of my system when it came. And it does come and go, just as it always has.
I just wanted to "start over" and be able to post whatever I wanted without being attached or beholden to anyone. So you can imagine my reaction when at the first sight of my work, people far and wide start welcoming sexytickletorture back and start chatting me up like I never left, friends and enemies I thought I left behind just showing up once more. That reaction being frustration and surprise. I thought I could just be anonymous, and I was wrong.
I just want to be clear: I am not blaming anyone for this, and I'm not upset with anyone. I'm not trying to accuse anybody of afflicting me with some hardship or something.
I realize now that I can't control people, and I can't blame anybody for being happy to see one of their -- if I may -- favorite artists come back. I also can't and wouldn't ask you to pretend I'm not that same person.
I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say. I guess I just get frustrated when the first things people say are about sexytt, and seeming to think I'm back 100% and for good, when all I want to do is have fun and post art. Maybe sexytt just represents a difficult, addicted time in my life and I don't like being reminded of it.
Either way, it's my problem to deal with and I need to learn to accept that that was me, and that to everyone else, this all represents fun art coming back for them to enjoy. I do appreciate that. I want you to know that I do appreciate that you're all so happy to see my work again, I don't want to minimize that at all.
So yeah. Sorry for that wall of text. I just needed to clear the air. Thanks for reading.
Who's interested in some 3D stuff?
Posted 6 years agoNot like with 3D glasses, I mean 3D models. I've been practicing rigging and animation, so I thought people around here might like to see some of it.
I was also thinking about some VR stuff, but that heavily depends on if any of you guys have some kind of VR headset.

DeaathTraap Technologies is pleased to announce...
Posted 6 years ago...our brand new, first commercially available product line: D-Gearβ’.
Too often in tickling-related confrontations, lers are met with a slew of difficult challenges: How do I restrain my lee? What should I use to tickle them? How do I ensure I enjoy myself for as long as possible?
Oftentimes, lers have had to settle for insecure and uncomfortable bindings that chafe their lees, or makeshift, inefficient tools that only elicit light giggling at most, lessening the enjoyability and duration of the session. Sometimes lees even manage to escape entirely, some going as far as to seek revenge and ruining the entire encounter.
At DeaathTraap Technologies Inc., we've ended the struggle. With the brand-new D-Gearβ’ line, lers no longer have to settle for "good enough". With affordable, top-quality products built for durability, comfort, and performance, every ler can experience flawless, endless fun, no matter the circumstances.
While historically, we've focused on the enterprise market with products like the MFACU-270β’, the D-Gearβ’ line is focused on the consumer first, putting affordability and ease of use above all else.
Products in the line will be announced shortly over the next few days. We at DeaathTraap Technologies Inc. look forward to doing business with you.

Who's a lee you can't get enough of?
Posted 6 years agoMine is Coco Bandicoot. There's not nearly enough art of her around
Also some may have noticed I deactivated my account for a while. That might happen occasionally, so just be warned
