i have some life updates: i have a doc appointment tomorrow to hopefully get some answers as to why my food isn't digesting, so that's good.

unfortunately with my stomach not digesting food all the time, i've had to miss a lot of work. with my husband's health problems with his foot/amputation at the beginning of the year, my PTO is gone.

we made a gofundme to raise our rent and gas for my car, and i'm taking comms to pay for groceries. i appreciate if anyone can help out!!!

i've been feeling a little burnt out on drawing lately so i'm trying to give myself time to recuperate, while also working on owed art and my comic.

re-opening commissions again! finishing a few pages of my comic to get my buffer back, and opening commissions again :3 check out my current queue here!

hey all! been a while since i updated here.

so my spouse is probably going to need surgery to repair a broken plate and screw in their foot, so they'll most likely be off of work for 6 weeks minimum.

i'm going to be doing a stream this weekend to do some same day commissions so folks can see their commissions being done live! it'll be on picarto, i'm getting my acct set up through this week while also finishing my current queue i have.

i appreciate any and all support, and even if you're not getting a commission feel free to come hangout! i may open a few sketch/lineart requests to fill time and give me a break/cooldown :)

the stream won't be too long because my tablet is a lil old and dies after like 5-ish hours but i'll probably stream both saturday and sunday, time TBD. i'll post here and twitter with a link!

comic progress is slowly chugging along! i'm going to sketch out all of the pages, then start working to finish and post 1 page per week!

and i wanted to ask you all, would you prefer the same style of comic as Baby Time? meaning no shading, flat colors and no colored lineart. i'm thinking of doing shading and MAYBE the colored lineart. it would make page progress a little slower than normal, and i might have to change the update schedule until i get used to it. but i think it'd be fun and look nicer!!!

so i've been back at my regular job for the past 3 days and it's been...a lot. having the time off to just draw as much as i wanted the past couple weeks spoiled me a bit lol. my job is so busy i couldn't draw at all unless i was working from home, maybe not even now.

i want to try to set up a kofi and patreon, i feel like i don't make enough content to warrant it yet though. so i'll probably wait to release them until after i post my 2nd comic!!! :3 still sketching those pages out, we're up to 16 i think? and not close to being done! c: so excited

i have a BUNCH of drawings queued up to post, plus the final pages of Baby Time :3 i would love to hear everyone's opinions on the comic so far too!
i haven't started on my second comic idea yet other than making a test first page, i definitely need to sit down and storyboard the whole thing so i have an idea of how long it'll be. i might keep doing short comics regularly for fun, i like them a LOT

in other news, i have some non-abdl/ageplay art drawn up to share, some experimental and some NSFW :3c which is exciting and fun!

i've had a lot of time to draw this weekend because my spouse got hospitalized. not for covid thankfully, he tested negative in the hospital.
drawing helps keep my mind away from worrying about him constantly. it's currently 7am where i'm at and i haven't slept at all. they don't do well in hospitals so it's just worrying about him spiraling. we caught their issue very early so things are looking good! still just a scary and worrying situation. i'm hoping this stay will only be a couple days at most.

i'm so excited BECAUSE i'm posting the first page of my short comic tomorrow! it's 6 pages long, just a cute little story. i mostly did it for practice with story-telling and drawing full scenes. i have another comic planned that's going to be a bit longer! and then i want to try writing a long-running comic :3

comic update schedule is gonna be one page per week, while i'm posting the 6 page one i'm going to try to get the 2nd short one finished as well so i can start posting that one pretty shortly after.

i might do a short stream tomorrow too! just to work on a few different art pieces. i'm going to stream on picarto, i gotta get my account set up. plus make a little talking animation thingy! i'll post a link tomorrow!

in life updates, i go back to my regular job on friday. my leave is up so even though my spouse still has covid symptoms my job is making me go in anyway ;w; i tried to get them to let me work from home, since i have a kit and and do that ANYWAY 2 days a week but no dice

my spouse and i are getting a kitten sometime soon in the future! our old roommate took in a pregnant kitty, and my spouse fell in love with one of the kittens :3 we're trying to find a name that matches with our other kitty's name! her's is willow, so we're thinking oakley, onyx, or ivy to match or like...idk. i like naming my pets after food, which is very weird but i love it XD
i had alfie (short for chicken alfredo), marble (marbled cheese), munchies (very food aggressive bab), and noodle (self explanatory). so i've been trying, and failing, to get my spouse to name the new kitty something like bre (bread), but they're not having it lmao

i've been thinking a lot about my art lately and my goals for the future
it's kind of a long-haul goal but at some point i would love to do art full-time. it's always been a dream of mine, and i'm determined to make it work!

my goal as of right now is to keep working on my art style. anatomy and shading are the things i want to work on most (partly why i'm trying out making comics), so i'm trying to draw at least 1 thing per day to practice.
