We were having problems saying seizures when I first started having them, so we started calling them Caesars. But Caesar salad is Jake's favorite salad so we now refer to all seizures as simpley "salads"

So I had 3 salads yesterday (see? Doesn't that sound better?) One while I was at work, one on the way home from work (both very small) then a large one while I was sleeping, luckily Jake was sitting next to me at his computer playing WoW when it happened and he helped me through it.

I see the neurologist next week. But I'm so out of it tonight. I'm at work, I feel physically drained, shaky, just blah.

I ended up leaving my computer at home tonight because I thought it would be a bad idea to draw when all of that happened within the last 24 hours. Bit I will be back to drawing tomorrow.

I REALLY wanna get a hair cut.

My hair is insanely thick and long and heavy and it is literally giving me headaches right now from just being.... too much.

I have a haircut picked out. Pretty much shaving down most of my hair lol I think it will look good, and it will feel way better.

I WOULD just wait till payday but ad my last journal stated, my whole check is going to rent (my mom offered to help with the remaining amount for rent)

So yea, I'm offering a full body full color (if you look at my commission types, this is the hybrid shading) with a background, for $60 so I can go get my hair cut finally and be much more comfortable.

I am $200 short on rent because of having to take most of the week off when I was having those seizures.

I worked all of this week so I will be getting a little over half of a paycheck, which will all be going to rent.

With all of my paycheck, and all of Jake's paycheck, we are still short by $200.

We really don't wanna have to talk to our landlord and tell her we are gunna be late on rent because she has been very short with us and just recently raised our rent.

I'm willing to do commissions for this. I'm planning on finishing my queue over my weekend this week. Then hopefully working on any new commissions while at work next week.

I was having seizures all week last week and ended up not being able to work for most of the week because of them. My check will be around $400. Jake's check was short because he had to take time off to drive me to training for my job.

We are $200 short on rent.
That is with us both using our whole checks for rent, leaving no money for gas or food.

I'm just so stressed. I am trying SO. HARD. And I feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

I wanted so badly to get a hair cut because my hair is super long and scraggly, but I won't even be able to afford that, even though it's only like $40.

Sigh.

Why does everything have to be so hard?

We were texting back and forth (we are both at work) talking about money and trying to figure out how to pay rent and I ended up stressing myself into another small seizure at work. Now I'm exhausted and feeling disoriented, and just so ... stressed.

Hey guys, so as you know I have been in and out of the hospital for the past week or so due to seizures happening.

I have a few new medications that were prescribed to me that my insurance is refusing to pay for.

They come out to $132 total 🫠

One of them in an antibiotic for an infection I have, and another is used to help stop seizures when I feel them coming on, which seems like an important one if I am to continue my job.

I am willing to do art for the money, although my TAT is a little slower lately due to me working full time, it could take a few weeks to get your art back from me as apposed to the 1-2 days that it was before I started working.

So that was fun.

I was at work, it happened at about 2 am, working alone of course, had a lot of tension in my neck, then in my head, eyes started blurring, then my arm started twitching and I was totally out. Came to about 15 min later. Phone had been thrown about 2 ft away from me, head was pounding.

I pretty much took ibuprofen and carried on with my night aside from shooting my Dr a message explaining what happened. For context my Dr office opens at 8 am. I got a phone call at 8:10 am from a nurse telling me to go to the ER immediately, that I infact should have not even finished my night at work, I should have called 911

She asked me if I have ever had episodes before where I had blacked out (because I told her that's what it felt like) and I told her yes, it happens a lot actually, my pysch Dr told me it's dissociative spells, but everyone around me says it looks like I'm just staring into space and they can't get my attention or anything.

She was like, yea soooo it sounds like these are also seizures and it has been happening for a long time.

I spent most of the day in the ER, they said it was likely that this particular one was worse than the others because my blood pressure was super high (188/98)

I was told not to go to work until Monday, no caffeine, ect. Gotta follow up with a neurologist, I don't think anything will come of it because I have seen a neurologist a lot over the past year due to my issues with my legs and everything looked fine, buuuut yea.

That was fun

So I got an email from the HR department at my job EARLY today letting me know that the background check came back requesting fingerprints from me.

This is a pretty common thing in my field, every job in this field I have worked has needed fingerprints.

I let her know I will get them done ASAP. She tells me they cost $12.50 but they will reemberse me.

Problem. Payday is Friday. I haven't eaten in 2 days because I don't have money.

I let her know that I will do my fingerprints when my paycheck comes in.

It is now almost 10:00 at night and I am still emailing back and forth with this poor woman while she tries to figure out a way to pay for my stupid fingerprints that are only a stupid $12.50 because I'm broke. She is dumb founded that I can't afford like... the amount for a morning coffee to get something required for my job and I'm apologizing all over the place for being such a pain in the butt

I probably get paid in like 5 hours but we need to secure my appointment to get the finger prints done in order for me to be allowed on my next shift which is tomorrow.

My back and legs are killing me, I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep yesterday during the day like I was supposed to for my graveyard shift. I slept about 5 hours, which in hindsight is not THAT bad, but I really need a solid 8 to keep the hallucinations at bay.

I have taken my daily pain meds, taken Ibuprofen, and used the pain relief cream to try to take away the pain bit nothing is helping.

I think I just need time off to sit and do nothing. It has been a busy week with 3 days of training (8 hours each) and 3 days of work (10 hour shifts) with no time off in between.

When I went into this job I was planning on doing part time because I didn't think I could handle more, but after doing 6 days, the full time of 4 days seems like nothing.

Plus I want the full time paycheck.

But omg I'm in pain. This freaking sucks. I have less than 3 hours to go though then I am off for 3 days.

It will be so nice being off 🥺

So my Dr and I were talking and I asked him if getting a tens unit to use while at work would be a good idea because I have been experiencing a lot of pain at work. He agreed that it would be a good idea.

When I called my insurance to see if they would cover the cost of it and the supplies they said they don't cover them 🥴

So my Dr told me to find one online.

I found one on amazon, it looks really nice. For the unit, some extra pads, and gel, it costs $65.

Only reason I am reaching out to you guys instead of waiting until payday is because I'm in a lot of pain and having problems working. I have about 2 more work days before payday, and probably 3 or 4 work days before the unit would be delivered if I were to wait till payday.

If anyone wants to buy a commission, I usually charge $70 for a full body hybrid commission with a full background. I'm willing to do one for $65 so I'm able to get all of the stuff I need, hopefully quickly so I can get it before working too many more days.

I have a SUPER busy day tomorrow, omg. But I havent been paid yet and Jake gets paid on Friday so I have no money to get lunch or coffee or anything that is going to help me through my day.

I have a 45 min lunch break tomorrow and all they have around us is fast food. I have no money to go to the store tonight to get something for lunch tomorrow, and honestly no money for gas to go to the store because the closest one is 30 minutes from me, I only have enough gas to get to my training tomorrow, which is about an hour and a half away from me ._.

If anyone wants to help me out so I can get something tomorrow it would be amazing. I only ate a banana today and that SUCKED. The training we are doing is super physical and honestly it is killing me because of my problem with my legs and back, I am in SO MUCH pain right now and I have to do it again tomorrow from 9 am to 5 pm again, I'm just blah.

Then I have 3 work days AFTER this super physical training, to do before I get any time off. Im gunna be tired as hell when it's all said and done

I'm hoping I make it through it, this training is the training I wasn't able to complete a year ago, which resulted in me losing my last job, because of the problem with my legs and back, so I REALLY need to make it through 1 more day.

Hey guys! I figured I would post an update 😀

I have been working really hard at my new job, showing up with a smile, drinking lots of coffee to keep me going all night 🤣

I was originally hired on as part time because I didn't think I could handle a full time job with my disabilities, but I told them that if the need arises where they need me on full time for a bit I was ok with it.

Well someone quit and they put me on full time temporarily. It was really only 1 more day added on, as I was already working 3-10 hour shifts. I realized that this really wasn't all that bad so I talked to my boss and he told me if I wanted full time permanently it was mine, so I accepted it, telling him if I need to move to part time at some point due to my disabilities I would let him know and he agreed to that.

Soooo I'm on full time now!

They seem happy with the work I have been doing and even gave me permission to draw during my down time, so I sit there and draw for a few hours every night 😆 I love it!

Also! Jake and my paydays are staggered, so we get paid literally every week, which is amazing because we will always have some money coming in, and ontop of that I will continue to take on commissions to help out as well!

Mentally I'm doing really well, physically I am tired but still kicking lol

This week is going to be super busy, I have full time hours, plus an extra day of training, AND a meeting 🫠

I'm excited to be working again though

We have no food at home.

I am so hungry and miserable.

It's my first day off and I feel like crap because I haven't eaten anything since yesterday morning ingredients when I got off work.

Working with the house manager, I have learned a lot so far. It has been a beneficial night to say the least.

My back and legs are killing me and I am exhausted though. I haven't done this much in 1 week in a long time, which is why I had elected to only work part time, because mentally and physically I can't handle more, but because of training and everything I have done full time this week, so I am really feeling it.

Next week I am only working 1 day though, which will be nice, I need the break, however I have appointments and a wedding we are going to try to make it to.

Then after next week I am working another week of full time hours again because of training then my first 2 shifts by myself 😭

I can't wait until things slow down a bit. This busy schedule is killing me right now. I know it's just how new jobs go, you have to make it through all of the certifications and training but dang, it's exhausting.

I did tell my boss tonight bout my disabilities, which he took well. That was nice.

I had to do online courses for like the first 4 hours, it would have taken longer but I skipped the courses and just did the tests 😆

My boss did all of the cleaning while I was doing that, then when I was done she told me to just hang out until about the last hour I will be here.

That's 6 hours in the middle of the night, just hanging out 😭 I played on my phone, watched TV, posted some ads on Facebook for commissions. Ugh.

I'm tired. Luckily it's almost 6 am now and I'm off at 8 am, we start waking everyone up around 7:30, and making breakfast and stuff, so at least I will be up and doing something, maybe I will be less tired when I'm up focusing on that!

Anyways, I have 2 more hours before I get to go home.

I'm looking forward to relaxing in my home for a bit
