Things have been a bit rough lately. I find that I'm short on spending money for groceries.

For anybody who doesn't remember, I used to do writing commissions for people. I never truly STOPPED doing that, but it feels like it does off as time went on.

Normally, I have a set list of "dos and don'ts" that I'll write... but I'm willing to be lax if it means I can make it to Thanksgiving just fine.

I've been doing some thinking for a while now. I will get to the point:


On June first, 2022, I will be updating my commission rates from $0.02 per word, to $0.04 cents per word. Some have told me in that I've been underselling myself up to this point and I should have had higher rates the whole time. I don't want to go crazy... but I do partially agree with them.


I wanted to give people a bit of time to see it coming, so that it doesn't catch anyone off-guard. I'm sorry if this is inconvenient for some, but I hope you can understand why I've decided to do this.

Once a month, I work on a big story for all of my patrons to read. They vote on what the predator will be, and people as little as 1 dollar a month are able to read it. And the story will have just about any kinks people might want pertaining to macro/micro stuff.

I think it's time to make some changes to reflect the current state of affairs. But I wish to ease into things. Hence, this journal post to keep folks in the know.

On June 1st 2020, I will be making a change to my Commissions tab. It's a simple adjustment: instead of 1 cent per word, it will be 2 cents.

The reward that people get when they purchase a total of 10,000 words will be increased as a result. It will go from 2000 free words, to 3000.

I'm open to feedback about this, of course. Just please don't be one of the types to accuse me of "Pulling an EA."

Now that I've finally, officially surpassed the 100-dollar patron goal, I'm beginning work on the big reward for my patrons: A community-wide commission in the form of a novella. It's going to be about 15,000 words long, and free for all patrons.

But I have to say that I'm feeling a bit stressed out. We're running out of time before my dad and I have to leave this motel room and wind up living out of his car. Granted, we were told about 1-2 months ago that there's a trailer that we'll be able to move into soon, once the previous tenants have moved out. But we're running out of time.

For starters, I've put up a poll where patrons can tell me what their favorite series has been. I'll also be making blog posts every Tuesday, and providing other perks over time.

I love Spyro. I may love and appreciate all dragons in art, movies, TV, literature, etc... but Spyro was my first. The first dragon I ever loved. I played his original trilogy way back when I was a kid. I enjoyed the Legend of Spyro trilogy when that came out (though I could only watch videos of Dawn of the Dragon on youtube instead of playing it). Still, LoS is what inspired my first foray into writing dragon stories online in 2011.

As for when my fascination with vore blended with my love of dragons... well, I can't be certain. But dragon vore comes naturally to me.

Anyway, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming on November 13th. And I've thought of a great way to celebrate: By making November the Month fo Dragons!

For 30 days, I'm going to write one dragon-related short story. Some may involve old characters I wrote, some may involve new ones. But I'm going to try and get one story done a day, starting on November 1st.

If anyone wants to contribute in some way, just hit me up for a commission. Otherwise, I'll think things up myself.

I've been told that Furaffinity is a great place to get work doing commissions. Although it seems like there's more of an emphasis on doing artwork than story-telling.

Still, I want to throw my hand into the ring. I'm confident that I write great stuff.

I'd also like to take the time to announce that I'm working on a Novella version of my "Dragons and Mice" series. It's not done yet, but I think I can get it published within a few weeks.
