So this is my life, it's 2016 and it started downhill, and continued to get steeper to the point i think the slant is now above me and no amount of claws is going to climb back up
so when this year ends i really will be saying good riddance but 2017 definitely don't look better.

Financially speaking all i can do atm is ooo and ah and wish i could buy art from folks because art is the lowest priority on the list.
My financial independence too a hit with me no longer having my SSI when I need it, as my housing agency considered my debt to them the most important thing in the world and they hijacked it and telling I have to come up with money I really don't have to finish paying rent >.< This caused a few bills to be paid late and nothing I can do about it as I used my SSI for that and used my paychecks for rent... which was slightly more balanced out.

Physically speaking, Cold and me used to be great friends, Heat is still my worse enemy but due to being old enough to have joint issues, a damaged sciatica (spelling?) disk, and being a smidge over weight (from poor diet no less, i'm lucky to get 1000 cal a day) pain has been a fun friend.

Mentally speaking, I was diagnosed with depression for a reason and man is the dark cloud staring me in the face, I see it and I fight but eventually it'll drown me whole.

The year wasn't 100% bad i mean i did see las vegas even if I hadn't a penny to my name while there.... I saw 2 NXT wrestling events, one being takeover brooklyn 2 which had me on a happy high for 3 weeks after the event, and a dark house show recently in MSG theatre which had me on a happy high for 3 days lol
* a happy high is when something makes me so happy to have been there i'm still happy many days later....

When 2017 comes please feel free to throw a rope down to me, i can't climb ropes well but it's better than sitting in the darkness while listening to others that may or maynot have it worse than oneself.

i did vote but not for trump cause he's an unstable figurehead and the world will definitely have less love for us with him talking for us.

Do think tho it's only 4 years... plus we do have 3 branches of government and even so anything Trump might think he wants to do has to pass the senate and congress and abide by the US constitution and stuff....
Checks and Balances was placed on this system ages ago so if the "people" made a mistake in voting for a president, guess what we don't become a dictatorship overnight.

While I didn't vote for him, I don't wish to see him dead, I don't wish for people to be up in arms cause seriously the fact that republicans put HIM in the position to be president meant 1/2 of this country was lost anyhow.
To those and a BIG portion of my friends fit this, that didn't want him in there, I sob with ya but all ya can do is stick together and keep ya voices heard and just wait it out.

Due to Trump's legal issues and all, there is a chance he doesn't even get to STAY in office.
The people that voted trump in are the similar minded people that voted Ronald Reagan into office, I don't remember much of that presidency being a baby and all but the country didn't die then, it won't now

she's mega old, needs lots of tlc and repair work, she's been with me through hell and high water and is still in wearable shape considering
she has no nose, her two sculpty teeth are long gone...
the on the spot quote from the maker was double what i paid for the full partial which the head, shoulder extension for the arms, feet are all that is left of it due to peices being stolen at I-con back when it existed as a con...

also due to the fact i'm so badly in debt that if I got 1/3rd of the max I'd sell for i'd be able to pay 1 month of rent with it, and i'm 3 months behind (not counting the 'contracted extra of 1.5 months worth of rent also needed from pass short months)

it's funny, i'm on ssi, they want folks to go out and get a job and once you do, they reduce payments til your off of it your you've worked too long to have it
in the end it no longer covers rent, and my paychecks no longer cover bills, and it's just a financial death spiral it seems better to just not work at all....

however the job i have and the people i work for/with and the knowledge i have no over before, makes me want to keep said job, but it seems the job is more of a financial burden than not having one. My budget used to be pay all things and I'd have a 'fun' budget (pay for hulu, wwenetwork, ffxiv, etc) now that all of them have been closed or canceled or in hulu's case, suspended.... and i come home with nothing fun to do or watch, watching my credit union bank fee my payments all to bounce fee city.... and i'm still wondering where my next roll of toilet tissue will be.... ya.... not good straights

this month i haven't bought art much if at all, most art you will see posted this weekend was paid for prior to my financial shutdown of paying for fun stuff, artwork (commissioning others, adding to the adopt pile, etc), streaming services (hulu, funimation), games (ffxiv)
Honestly i still have $180.24 in rent I need to come up with, have about $400 other bills to pay not including my start of the month fios bill and cell (4145+65 respectively) My paycheck maxes at $414 after taxes this thurs so... No clue what I am doing since I stopped all things that wasn't food.

I do budget funds and normally I wouldn't be so badly hit, but since my SSI (disability) is disappearing due to my oh so better income from work (ya 828 a month is enough to live on in NY.... not when rent is $360 of that >.< ) and my back is getting more and more hell pained that i resort to taxi rides if i can or an hour walk that is so crippled that old ladies with canes can out pace me.

The doo dah parade tho fun did kill me as my back really decided to be bad this year, normally what i did (carry a lightweight banner for a mile at hell fast pace not in suit) should not have crippled me but it did >.< I did more carrying of that banner at the st patrick's day for all parade and I was fine...

My back locks up, low back pain that creeps up and down the initial area and later travels onto my ab muscles in the front. Usually ending in a full out lock up of all muscles and me being unable to move :(
Aleeve can help but it takes easily 1hr to activate and can not be used proactively (before doing pain activity like walking, I have to be in bad enough pain to see a result)

Nutrition is part of the issue but it's not the only bit and I have no clue how to get help from doctor in this. I need supermarket rides to the store at least once of month, 2x is better. I can make good meals usually from it but those have been scarce the 3 good supermarkets by me all closed up (2 from the A&P bankruptcy and no other store took up these stores) and the freeport stop and shop closed up. My options if my back is up to it is a pair of compare foods, but they are only good for meals made that day or so, the food goes bad if left more than 3 days in the fridge... I bought milk with a sell by date of 4/26/16 and on 4/20/16 the stuff was rancid.... visually and smell wise and my fridge was closed and working good....

Some people go well take a taxi, well the price to the nearest good supermarket (15-30$ one way) is more than the price to get to work 10$ one way... they too add up beyond my budget plus they charge per bag placed in taxi... 50c each

some people love comments on things or favs or both, some don't
if something looks really cool and if i had the funds to buy but can't, i notice some take that negatively.... why? just cause i can't get now don't mean i can't later when i has funds...

some artist i watch have lovely work, choose to make art their sole income and price things at a living wage, which while nice, does price it out of range of most people whom make less than that. Some i can't comment on anything at all usually because it's degrading or insulting to say "i'd love to have but can't afford it" but some make me want to comment because they then make begging journals for toys or animals and things that seriously if you can't feed yourself, why beg funds in form of overpriced commissions for things you can't truly upkeep if you having issues feeding self and keeping up rent?

now I can say the above statement is NOT a single watcher of this account that i follow back.

This journal isn't asking for money or help, just stating facts as they be. I have 1 outstanding commission debt to worry about but as it's not scheduled nor should be anytime soon as there is a paid one waiting for scheduling and completion.

Adopt Talk

If an adopt concept sparks my interest I might say I like the concept, If it's financially plausible to do I might buy one, but I notice a lot of adopts by many people that are designed so intricately they really need more than 1 view. For such content makers if you going to sell a creature, my advice to you is sell something that shows more than 1 shot if it's got lines and things going around the back or interesting shapes and etc

Art of 1 pose Adopts

I rarely give these to people to do art of, unless all you need to know really is staring you in the face. Usually these are feral creatures that show you their face in detail. Take Driggorclaw for example whom isn't an adopt but is a 1 pose ref, He is a Jaegertinger - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17927287/ . Is there info missing, yes, the skull that protects his 3rd eye, Is it needed to draw him? Unless it's showing that, no. You can see how the few stripes go, you see where his black mane ends, you see what is fluffy and what is not as fluffy. It works as a ref on it's own. If I asked from him to be anthro'd then um ya you could charge for that since that would take some reworking of bones to do (but I wouldn't ask for this)

Adopts that need more info I will go to creator and ask for a clearer ref before I get art of them :)

Shaded refs
I always ask ref files be unshaded, why? to stop the confusion some artist have of knowing what is marking and what is shaded.

If I use/give a shaded ref, I will warn the artist the ref IS SHADED. Some adopts end up shaded. I will often ask for a flat version or pay for one later for more use.

most are flat colored but due to nature of creature especially the slime ones... they appear shaded or they might just need a better sheet.

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17710271/ this is mostly flat but as the creature is running there is some motion blur of the back end of it. It has an intricate back pattern, so once I have the funds = to the GBP it will have a clear ref sheet showing what is needed to draw it.

That said I was able to get a half mask of it as the face is clear, I have no issue giving this for say a headshot or icon.

I learnt from my attempts to get references in the past and then getting artwork, it's better to get it looking good the first time*, If I like your art but don't think the ref would look right done by you, I won't offer or accept offers.

Am looking for more standard - realistic refs/concepts.
I am working poor so limited budgets.
Concept art can be single 3/4th pose in most cases.
Ref sheets will mostly need all details required for future artwork.
Preference for ALL of these are they can be streamed (tigerdile/picarto/etc) since none have reference art or anything unless otherwise stated.

blue wolftaur herm - this ref would be fairly nsfw and need a few poses >.< keeping character as was created despite it being a mental challenge to figure out
plausible sfw ref might be done by eventually... but i'd prefer someone comfortable with drawing adult anatomy of this taur....
(and be ok with furry logic requests cause this thing shouldn't exist, function or work in anyway as shi was once designed)

So let's see, 2015 broke the streak of bad luck during odd years, something that has happened for 20 years of my life

I've officially held my job longer than any job i've ever had in my life 1 1/2 years at this point, I saw 4 minor pay raises (they was company wide but still i saw them)!

I saw my credit score on both transunion and equifax go from poor to fair.
My goal for this year is to see it to Good and stay there ^^

I got most of svengali and have major plans for it for AC/FP this year (tho I *might* skip AC for the 2016 fan fest of final fantasy 14 in vegas.... )

Outside of expecting February being financial hell due to xmas bonus making my ssi go to not getting for the month and the 40$ rent increase.... I have high hopes for things

Currently as I only have refs for 2, the couple Bora and Assault have a folder for when things get more adult as a married couple ought to have.
The sabertooths, the 2 paint horse pair and a few other randoms will be there as well, he has his own stable of characters to manage XD

So if you happen to see an odd comment from the bird, ya now know why!
