In other news, for those who didn't know,  mystic-the-chimaera and I are in a relationship. Have been for year and a half now, though we've mostly kept it on the down-low. We're not one's to boast publicly about it, but I figured I'd at least let some people who follow me know what's up in my life.

I've been semi-active on sound cloud uploading new audio work, mainly vocal auditions and some voice acting stuff. I post things there first and then may come back to post it here. I have a few other things to post and update, but that can wait another day. To all those who've stuck around to watch me, thanks. Sorry for being so quiet!

To amend my earlier journal...

I really want to start doing them… but in all honesty I don’t know anyone who’d buy written work from me. I don’t fancy myself an amazing writer who can crank our incredible works that everyone would pay tons of cash for. I just write because I love to write… It just so happens that I what I write is unpopular.

So on one hand, I’d love to open up commissions, but on the other, I doubt anyone would actually commission me.

Well, turned 21 today. Since I live in/near the Las Vegas area, this is kind of a big deal. I won't have some big lavish party with tons of gifts, though that does sound fun, but instead I'll just be spending it mostly by myself, listening to the well wishes and happy birthdays from friends and loved ones.

On the bright side though, in a few days I get to see The Phantom of the Opera showing at the Paris casino. A little gift from my parents they've been saving up for a long time to get me. I can't contain my excitement.

Though my actual birthday might be dull to some, the fact that I can appreciate what I have and relax at the little things makes it worth it. Not to mention I have the world's best girlfriend who always knows how to make me smile, especially on my "special" day.

For over two years now I've been living a double life, masquerading around as two different people. Why?

Fear.

I was afraid of what people would think of me if they found out the truth. I was afraid I'd be shunned and ridiculed for who I am. But now I no longer am afraid. No longer to I want to hide behind all this secrecy. Today I announce to everyone who hears it.

My real name is Anthony.
I go by the names Tansho Shinjitsu Erizawa & Derek Jeremiah Stevens while online.
I no longer am keeping my furry and non-furry identities secret. To those who don't know, Tansho & Derek are one in the same person, but I've made them out to be two different people with only a few similarities. That stops now. I'll still use them both, but now the truth is out that they are both me.

Tansho will be my main human persona & online identity for dealing with things outside the furry community, such as my Antari-Kudo DA page, You Tube, and Facebook.

Derek will be my main anthro fursona & online idenity for dealing with things within the Furry community, such as my Derek8121 DA, my FA, and my various writing accounts.

I hope this doesn't upset anyone that I've kept this a secret for so long. I'll be outing myself on my other sites I'm a part of as well. I just want everyone to know this was completely my decision and I'm 100% for it. It's time I stopped hiding or being embarrassed of who I am. To those who dislike me now, my apologies but there's no looking back. If you can't accept who I am than that's your problem. My Furry identity is only for those who share similar interests to see and if you don't want to see it that's fine by me.

Alright, so I've sorted out my life a little more since my big break down. Had another minor one, but thankfully I had support through it. I'm slowly getting my life back on track, which mean for the time being I'm back.

So without further ado, enjoy my new work.

I had a major emotional break down that nearly ended up in me closing my DA/FA accounts. I won't go into details, but I want to say I'm better now.

However, I'll be inactive for awhile as I sort things out in my life. Can't say how long, but I'll be back. Just... wait for me guys. Kay?

Alright, so I've been doing more voice work and I really have been working on my stories, albeit none being finished, so that's out of the way...

But my question is: out of all the people who follow my work how many are actually paying attention? I have 44 people watching me, but really I doubt even a fraction are even interested in what I do anymore. So... I guess this is an "active watcher check" or something.

I'm just curious because there are times I upload things and only get maybe 2 or 3 comments/favs over the course of it being up. Am I not making anything interesting anymore? And if so, what do you guys -want- me to make? =/

Would anybody like to hear voice work from me? I'm curious. I provide the voices of three of my OCs: Cirilo Razor, Nocterne Razor, and Krad Dashow (and to count him as well, Derek Stevens), as well as one of my mate's OCs Yorick.

I also occasionally sample lines from other OCs and even do my best to mimic already established character voices. I improv mostly, but sometimes I'll follow a script. I also do story readings or, as I used to do alot, request work.

So I'm curious, would anybody like to hear my Voice Acting talent?

It's been forever since I posted any new stories or updated my current ones, but a lack of motivation has crashed into me like the fist of the north star.

As of late I haven't had the drive I once did for writing my stories. Perhaps it's the lack of enthusiasm and general uncomfortable feeling I have around my former writing "colleagues". Perhaps my mind is always on other things and I'm too backed up on ideas? Whatever the case, I haven't written in ages and I really, really want to.

Though I guess another issue is, who would really care? The writing "group" I was a part of has all but crumbled and my stories weren't even that well received in the first place. Sure, I've gotten good reviews and I enjoy the works I've done, but is there anyone left who'll read my work? I fear my "fans" have all gone.

Seems I'll have to find something else to occupy my gallery...

Man, things have been hectic lately. College finals are coming up and I know I'll be busy.

But besides that, I have lots of new art and writing geared up. Three new stories and some drawings are in store, and I already have some new work posted. Also, I have a shocking announcement for all those who follow me on FA!

Yeah... you know my stories? The backbone of my work here on FA (and on other sites)? Well.. I may just be quiting all that. It seems no one really has interest in them and to be honest, if no one reads a story why even have it up?

I write for an audience and if that audience has a problem with something I write I expect to hear their complaints. But no. It seems I write to a mute audience as I don't know whether my stories are doing well or not. Sure, I know some of them are doing well (you know which ones), but the stories that really matter to me are ignored. And I refuse to write ONLY smut, even if that seems to be the only thing that garners views and comments.

In fact, that's what annoys me the most. Out of the three stories I have posted, only the smut ones seem to be popular. Not the story I worked on longer and have a lot of high hopes for, no... the porn. I don't mind writing porn, but I am not a porn writer. I'm an author and porn-related stories just happen to be a little side hobby of mine. It irks me when they get more recognition than the stories I really want people to read.

So I'm considering halting my writing all together. I love it dearly, but if have to write something I don't want to all the time just to get feedback, then I refuse to write at all. I became a writer to write what I want, not to write only smut for everyone to fap to. So enjoy what I have now, because there might not be anymore.

Apparently my latest story has been receiving a lot of praise. It's almost gotten to the point where I feel it's my best work yet. However, I'm mystified as to why it's actually so good. Yes, I've heard what a lot of people said, but I'm still very much curious.
