Will be starting a patreon soon
Posted 3 years agoI miss writing my Wolf on the Field series and other short werewolf stories, so I'll be starting back up. I'll be posting some small things on here, but I plan to post the bulk of my stuff on the patreon I'll be creating. I'll take requests and will work to get you all content that you want and crave. Hope you all will like and support what stuff I got to offer soon.
Thinking about creating a Patreon
Posted 4 years agoHey all! WolfontheField here. Hope all have been well! The last few months have been an interesting roller coaster, one that I am now grateful for. Sometimes bad things and bad events have to happen to allow us to be stronger people. Anyway, with school wrapping up for a little, which has been amazing, I've been thinking of starting up again with my werewolf tf stories. I miss writing so much and want to get started again. However, I've been curious that if I were to create a patreon for my stories....would any of you at all be interested in it?
I've decided if I do, it'll be a mixture of continuing my Wolf on the Field series, some scattered short stories, and I have a few ideas for starting another series perhaps. It wouldn't be anything flashy, but would be an opportunity to showcase my writing again.
Anyway...would anyone be interested?

I appreciate the concern but...
Posted 4 years agoHey all. Just want to say thank you for your well wishes and asking me when my site will be set up. It's still a work in progress and taking me longer than expected, especially since I'm trying to get accepted into a new school (apparently you interview for this, like a job) to start taking education courses in the fall. But it's happening!
Also, a had a handful of you reached out to me via message to say that they saw my ex apparently "blatantly copied one of my ideas." Honestly, please stop telling me about him. It's not like I'm checking up to see if any of this is true, cause frankly, I don't plan to. IF true, it's not my fault he has no originality. Second, I don't care to know what that waste-of-my-life is up to. Point is, I appreciate your concern, but messaging me about him only pushes me backwards when I intend to only go forward.
Means a lot to me that you all care, but stop telling me about it.

In a Good Place Now
Posted 4 years agoSome of you have been asking me how I'm doing and I cannot emphasize enough how much I have appreciated that. The good news is I'm over my ex. I recognize him for the sociopath that he is, and honestly, I don't have time for people who lack empathy and compassion. However, some good did come out of it all: I've decided I want to teach and and also coach football. It's a new calling and I think it has much to do with what I've gone through this last year and never wanting to see someone suffer the way I did. I want to make positive change for others and help those who are struggling. It means essentially scrapping all my schooling and start over, but I don't care.
So, what does this mean for my writing and the new website I'm working on? It means my time will be limited, but it's still happening. I will post updates as they come about and I'm optimistic I can launch something in due time that will showcase my work exclusively and have a pocket that I can call my own. I'm very excited about this, and hope you all are too.
Again, thank you all for being there for me. This community is something special and I am grateful for all the advice and assistance you all have given me.
Now, let's get to work!

A writing update!
Posted 4 years agoHi all!!! I'm excited to announce that I think I'm ready to write again. More importantly, I've decided to create my own webpage and plan to post my short stories and series chapters upon there. Once established, I will be deleting all my content on here and will be starting fresh. Any of you are welcome to message me and I'll be happy to give out more details. In the meantime, I look forward to creating something magnificent and having you all be a part of it.
New WOTF Chapters!
Posted 5 years agoExcited to announce that I've organized "where" my characters currently are, established where they are going. Now comes the actual writing. Wolf on the Field is coming back!
Would Love to Know Your Opinion!
Posted 5 years agoBeen feeling inspired lately and that definitely helps me with the writing process. I've written two short stories with a bit of a stream of consciousness approach. Meaning, I've been writing without any planning and just seeing what's come out. Knowing I'm getting that taste to write again, I'd love to know what all of you would like to see come from me:
- More short stories?
- More Wolf on the Field chapters?
- Continue working on my Halloween miniseries?
Let me know - I'd love to know what you're all liking from me!

How to Proceed?
Posted 6 years agoI’m hoping to start back up with my writing but was curious to know what you all like/want from me: more werewolf tf short stories or more Wolf on the Field chapters?
New Short Story soon!
Posted 6 years agoWorking on a new story that I should have done today or tomorrow that’s gonna be a dab steamy. I have a feeling you all are gonna love this one!
New stories coming soon!
Posted 6 years agoLife can be so hard sometimes and that’s whats been going on. It seems things have gotten better, which means I can get more writing done now. So I’m working on some new stories and plan to share them really soon! Really miss you all!
Small update!
Posted 6 years agoAfter a small hiatus, I’m back. I had a bad hit of negative self esteem and needed to separate everything I normally do to regroup. Better now and ready to write more. Hoping to have a new werewolf tf written soon (maybe today) for you all!
Thinking about Love
Posted 7 years agoI'm wondering if anyone would wanna date a jock werewolf? hehe!
Surprise! New Standalone Werewolf Story!
Posted 7 years agoI know I said I wouldn't, but I posted a small short story. It's something I've been working on for a little and I decided to finish it this morning. It's very difficult from what I normally write, but I wanted to test out my writing range. I think it came out well, and I particularly liked bringing about some werewolf perspective on life and dating!
Wolf on the Field - New Chapters
Posted 7 years agoAs promised, Wolf on the Field is back, with new chapters beginning to be written and posted for you all to enjoy. At this point, my focus is on the series and standalone short stories will be on hold, unless there is a major demand for one.
I really hope you love the new chapters as I submit them, and please, don't hesitate to throw some comments and feedback my way. I always love it when you all do!

Writing Update
Posted 7 years agoHope you all are doing well!
I wanted to give you all an update about WOTF and whatnot. So let's start with, YES, I am still writing the series and new chapters will ultimately come. The reason why I've been taking quite some time is because I have been trying to properly storyboard everything into a storyline that isn't all over the place and starts to contradict itself. I really want to provide you all with the best possible story and being the perfectionist that I tend to be, that causes me to constantly reevaluate everything...It also doesn't help when I'm juggling school, work, and the occasional full moon tf *hides pointed ears from view by pulling down beanie*
But yes, more to come! I definitely intend to get more chapters out soon. In the meantime, I've been trying to keep you all entertained with some misc. transformation stories - hope you all have been loving them! I love writing them, so I hope the sentiment is the same!
I also want to throw out that if its in regards to misc. tf stories, I'm open to writing something up for you all - just know it has to be standalone and not part of my WOTF series. Just message me and let me know! I can't promise I'll do it, but hey, you don't know till you ask, and writing misc. stories keeps my writing fresh!
Anyways, thank you all as always for being an amazing reader-base. *Howls to you all in happiness!*

Happy Holidays!
Posted 7 years agoWant to wish all my followers a happy holidays! You all are so beautiful and thank you for your continued encouragement to keep writing. If it weren’t for you all, I wouldn’t be writing at all!
Letting my readers be part of the writing process! - vote!
Posted 7 years agoAll right, fun time! So there has been a devious plan in the making: you all know those side werewolf stories of mine - any that COULD be in the WOTF Universe - well, I kinda wanna give my readers the opportunity to pick one of them to be expanded and integrated into my WOTF series. Master plan, I know. So, respond, message me, let me know who you all want more of! If nobody responds, well I guess that ultimate choice falls on me! *howls and wags tail
Just curious
Posted 7 years agoAs I’m formulating and writing new chapters and cause all your opinions mean a lot to me, I’m just curious, which characters are you all liking? Doesn’t necessarily influence my writing plan, but I’m curious to know what feedback you all have on that.
Thank you all!
Posted 7 years agoYou all are awesome! Thanks so much for all the favs and great response to my last batch of writing. You all inspire me to keep writing more!
Some new writing coming up!
Posted 7 years agoPlanning a writing blitz this weekend. I’m hoping to get some more WOTF written up, but also may even challenge myself at some other stories, if anyone has any requests. No promises though!
Hope you all are enjoying Wolf on the Field! - Some thoughts
Posted 7 years agoIt always makes me so happy to know people are reading my work and enjoying it. I write my series for no other reason than my passion for the storyline and my developing characters.
As you all can see, the next series of chapters will be focused on the days leading into the full moon, with the day of the Full Moon converging many of the growing plotlines into one chaotic night. Needless to say, there's going to be some chapters focused mostly on character development and won't include detailed transformations (sorry!). I want to say in advance, please don't let that be a deterrent in continuing to read my series. I got some feedback from someone not too long ago who suggested I strip the drama away from my series and simply focus on transformations, which I could easily do...but it kinda takes away all the context and build-up I want associated with each transformation I include into my series.
I also want to throw out there that I always appreciate feedback - please feel free to comment or even send me a private note on what you think of the chapters. What makes my work and the series even better is knowing how my readers are receiving and interpreting the events unfolding. I even love it when I great those asking me, "Oh, is this character going to do this?" or "What is this character planning?" It may not have incredible value with the development of my series, but it at least tells me the focus on my readers and what is standing out to them, which is equally important to development.
Lastly, here's what to expect in coming chapters:
- Derek coming to grips about his anger
- A more direct introduction to Tyler, a sophomore varsity football player, who will start to notice some things and want to learn more.
- An introduction chapter focused on Kevin, who is the high school's go-to journalist and newspaper editor-in-chief. His dedication for covering certain aspects of the school year will get him learning more than anticipated, with potential consequences.
- Connor's backstory has been teased to readers, and readers will learn even more about him over the course of the week.
Thanks to you all again! Every one of you is a reason as to why I continue to write my series with the motivation I have!

What to Expect in Coming Chapters...
Posted 7 years agoSome of you have asked 'what's gonna happen' and since it's tough to juggle work, school, and writing all in the same go, which causes some of my chapters to take a while to be posted, I thought I'd offer a few details that'll keep up interest.
However, first I wanna say THANK YOU. Thank you to all of you who continually encourage me and ask me such questions, which tells me that my writing and storylines are something that is actually enjoyed and desired. It's seriously all of you that keeps my writing going.
So here's some details:
Some of you have observed that, yes, it's really been the saga of Derek-Ethan-Josh. That's been deliberate cause I wanted to emphasize their importance to the story. Nonetheless, as evidenced by the introduction of Connor, there are others they will ultimately interact with. Even still, all three of them are heavily flawed characters, and that is definitely something that will play a role in this series. For instance, Josh's murder of Caleb, that's not something that's going away for him. Same goes with Derek regarding Brandon; his guilt doesn't simply vanish.
Here's at least two new characters to expect:
Tyler: He's a TE on their football team. Tyler is lean muscular and a tremendous football player, having made it onto the varsity team during his Sophomore year. He is perceptive, yet doesn't take life too seriously. By way of fate, he'll learn his town has werewolves in its vicinity, and will seek out to become one himself...will he?
Kevin: He is a Junior, senior-writer for the school newspaper and editor-in-chief for the yearbook staff. He immerses himself in work, is continually exhausted, but his one pleasure is watching his school football games, discretely wishing he had the confidence to play the sport. By way of fate, he'll learn more about his football team than he ever knew before. He has a good heart, but that may be a liability in the long-run.
One final thing:
Part of what makes this series work is an effective storyline. I know some of you have sent me messages requesting more transformations, and I aim to meet that demand. I mean, it's a series about werewolves after all! Nonetheless, an effective plot depends on strong development of characters and a storyline that has continuity, and most important to me, stays in a real-world format. For example, one of my biggest issues with MTV's Teen Wolf was that it was obvious the writers went in a fantasy direction cause they had no originality on how to keep the story real-world, and it really hurt the show's watchability (in my opinion!). I don't want the same for my series, and I'm working hard to maintain that realism that is important to me.
I'll conclude here by saying again, thank you all so much. I still welcome suggestions and feedback, as both greatly assist me.
Till next time!

Sorry for the Delay!
Posted 7 years agoIt's been forever and a day since since I put out my last chapter of WOTF, and so sorry for that. I've been so busy, but have been chipping away at a new chapter. I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of the week...claws crossed! *Howls*
New chapter coming soon
Posted 7 years agoI’ve been working on a new chapter that’s building on the story. I’ve decided I want to further develop my characters and give them a storyline that’s both impactful and impactful towards an overall story. Ultimately I’m working on a love triangle with a foe who may or may not actually be as such. Truth is, I’m building a story that the reader is forced to trust someone...but said person may not be trustworthy. I so seriously hope you all like the eventual result.
