I honestly got a wild hair up my butt to draw figured might as well open a commission slot.

OMG! Guys so I'm now starting a new adventure.. I will be a full time freelance artist. TADA!
So expect so much more content from me especially because I am now the proud owner of a new "Huion Kamvas 22 Plus!"
I should have it in my possession within 2 weeks, by that time I will have my current list completed just in time for me to open up by December~!
I'm so excited to start working in my passion. Be my own boss. It's so exciting.

Sorry for another delay but I will be on Hiatus for 2 weeks. I need to get another day time job I'm not earning enough commissions to make this my full time job yet. So I'm working with a hiring agency but they need a lot up front from me right now so I'm going to get that done for the next 2 weeks. I'm also going on vacation with family Oct 15-19th! I should be back and working on regular schedule by then. :)

How not to treat an artist.

I'd like to share what also is putting me on a week hiatus other than my hand.
Seems someone decided that my art was not satisfactory. Any other time I would happily make edits, but here's the thing.
-I stream my art for anyone to make in the moment edits.
-I always link my sketch before line work for edits
-I give you plenty of opportunity to make changes before the final process.
If given all that opportunity, you respond like this.. Do not commission artists. You are not allowed to let the full process carry out without speaking up just to turn around and say "Give me my money back." I've a ToS that explains exactly what you get and expectations. (Found here.)
In 10 years of commission work I've never been treated so poorly. I put my heart even in the simplest pieces. I've had my name attempted to be smeared by a fellow artist, and now a commissioner publicly posting my art with the most immature fit I've ever seen.
Needless to say I've had the worst 24 hours of my life crying and just general upset over this. This is what makes things hard for commissioners, this is what makes artists strict. This behavior right here. I will not say his name publicly a I do not want retaliation against him, it will come his way some other way but I will not condone it.
I'm deeply hurt. I just need to process.

Delay in Commissions

So a week back I burnt my hand being a dummy and reaching for a hot pan in an oven.. ANYWAY
Guess who got a second degree burn on her palm. I went to Urgent care they prescribed me some burn cream and then went to the wound doc today and now that the blister is open I'm having to wear a bit more dressing that is inhibiting movement in my drawing hand. After asking if the dressing was necessary he stated he wanted to give it a week when I see him again. I don't see him until next Friday so until then I am out of commission.
I'm so sorry for the delay. Thank you for understanding. ♥

Commission Delay/Closed

I'm closing commissions for now. I will resume work on the commissions I have next week. My family is running into some issues as they are impacted by the Lightning Structure Fire that is impacting Northern California and we may need to help evacuate them. I'm keeping myself available for this week in case that needs to happen.
If by any means you are absolutely unable to wait for your commission until next week, let me know. A brief reminder that my TOS did say a commission could take a month-3 months. But I will get it done if it absolutely cannot wait.
Thank you for being so patient with me these weeks. I'm hopeful things will settle down soon!

Surgery Help

I apologize I've been so dead on here recently but I hope to change that this year. I wish I could say you'll be seeing something from me every day but unfortunately I come with some bad news.
Recently just before the holidays hit I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst that is currently the size of an orange and causing me residual pain almost everywhere, even in the form of migraines. Naturally this needs to come out sooner rather than later. I do have the best docs working on me but with that came a $2000 USD price tag for out of pocket. My spouse and I are now completely strapped until February and are struggling to make it through the month. My surgery is on 1/20 and I will have 6 weeks to recover which means I am free for completing my exiting commissions (4) and adding more.
These would be done traditionally but you would get a high def scan of the image. I would use pencils and markers. Commissions can rage from $20-$80 USD depending. I am happy to receive just donations as well to my paypal. I know this is a lot to ask upfront, and this is very uncomfortable for me to ask for money upfront in the form of donations and rapid commissions but I truly need help and I cannot think of any other way to ask for help. If you are unable to do one or the other, a share on Twitter or even on here will mean the world to me. ♥

Been such a long time am so sorry ILU all. ; ^;
Okay so tbh I have been dealing with a move, rocky moment in my relationship, crazy hours at work and just. Wow.
Good news! Everything is stable! I'm working decent hours and I have a great social life and I will be free to start October commissions!
So.. what that means is you will see an influx in YCH, Pay for what you want streams, And a small list of themed commissions. I will do some general commissions but they really will max out at a list of 5, whereas others could be 3 or more.
Average pricing from sketch to full color without a second person I see being anywhere from 30-250 max.
No I will be making an announcement next month officially but this is kinda to see who all will be interested; so I can figure out my work load! So please, comment if you would be interested and what kind of YCHs and what not you'd like from me. You are the most important part of my business after all. ;)
